Full textThe study shows that mathematical proof does not live in the classroom as it does in mathematics especially in the secondary school. The gap is wide. The didactical transposition distorts the meaning of mathematical proof today, learning proof is reduced to learning how to succeed in doing exercises about formal writing. Thus it is necessary to change teaching practices, so that the proof is taught more satisfactorily on epistemological and educational plans. We point out that it is relevant and possible to initiate this change by working on teachers'conceptions about the proof, teaching and learning. For this purpose we propose a teacher education engineering grounded on three problems : at first it aims students' existing relation with mathematical proof, then we make the teachers search problems and produce proofs. Then we may specify the teachers'relation with proof and begin make them reflect on their teaching practices at the same time

Full textIn a world where techniques does not always bring a decisive advantage, so much it is shared by competitors, the human capital of the company constitutes a major competing asset. Competence, or rather "the increasing of competences", is in the heart of this process of capitalization of knowledge. For companies, as for schools, it becomes urgent to have a powerful and reactive tool for formation on an increasing training market. Our work falls under this context and relates to the design (or the Re-design) of "production systems of competence". It tries to propose models, methodology and tools for assistance to the improvement of the systems of formation by relying upon production systems design engineering development. While basing itself on CIMOSA model and AICOSCOP methodology, on one hand, and on the relations existing between the entities Task – Competence – Actor – Activity, on the other hand, we proposed a model of the competences production system and an design engineering of this system ; we defined this engineering by "engineering of formation". Four examples of application are given to validate our approach ; they relate to so much the companies requests that those of school, particularly for the design of a production system of competence in Industrial genious, definition, dimensioning and specification of a formation dedicated laboratory and finally the search for obectives definition and performance indicator setting for a formation system

Blandin, Bernard.
- une forme matérielle, qui détermine les situations d'apprentissage possibles et conditionne les processus d'apprentissage qui s'y déroulent sous l'influence de ses dispositions spatio-temporelles, des instruments qui s'y trouvent et de leur utilisabilité ;
- une organisation, qui détermine les formes d'interactions possibles entre les acteurs participant aux situations d'apprentissage sous l'influence de l'environnement matériel, des règles du jeu et des normes qu'elle génère ;

Full textThe work presented in this thesis is part of a broader issue of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) field. It is particularly interested in Massive Open online Courses (MOOC) environments and concerns more specifically the activity of designing and conceiving pedagogical scenarios by teachers in connectivist MOOC (cMOOC).The main goal is to provide an approach, models and tools to assist teachers in the scenario conception process and the operationalization of pedagogical scenarios in a cMOOC context. In order to meet these needs, the first part of this thesis is devoted to specification of the cMOOC creation and execution process describing the involved stakeholders and the characteristics of each process step. The second part of the manuscript is consecrated to the cORPS model, which describes and defines a cMOOC-oriented pedagogical scenario. To reify our proposals, we have developed an authoring environment for cMOOC context, called MOOCAT. One of the specific characteristics of our tool lies in the exploitation and reuse of the BPMN notation. This tool and the associated operationalization service are covered in the third part of this manuscript. Finally, different publics of practitioners tested MOOCAT notably from a utility and usability point of view. The obtained findings confirm that MOOCAT can be used to design connectivist pedagogical scenarios and provide all the necessary elements for the design of such courses. Feedback from participants particularly highlighted its ease of use and the benefit of a visual authoring tool

Thesis, Lille 1, 2014. http://www.theses.fr/2014LIL12021/document.
Full textThis thesis discusses the qualitative contributions of pedagogical innovation initiatives in Palestinian Universities. The research examines the integration of the portfolio into the pre-service teacher education program conducted by Islamic University of Gaza. The study hypothesizes the failure of this intervention to create constructive learning activities due mainly to the incapacity of producing a deep change on the established traditional model of learning. This failure comes mostly from the lack of the complexity of conducted innovation process. This study uses qualitative research method with a focus on macro policy analysis. In light of the obtained results, the researcher concludes with developing a conceptual model to support the transition between the two underlying pedagogical models: behaviorist and constructivist. In this context, the researcher makes use of the contributions of instructional design science of the closest way possible to university management approaches in Palestine

Full textThis research deals with the development of the French Language in multilingual Ethiopia. It focuses on two bearing case studies: on the French Unit and the Commercial College at Addis-Ababa University. After having traced the historical background of the French language in the introduction of the modern education in Ethiopia, and after having defined the Ethiopian multilingualism, it describes the situation of the French language teaching in Ethiopia. It seeks to determine the interest at stake in the context of school and/or university. This research analyzes the curricula of the two French speaking Departments, from their designing to their implementation. With the help of questionnaires and/or interviews addressed to the students in training, it assesses the operation of these trainings and the didactic process by confronting theory and practice. It also analyzes the setting up of the Master’s degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language, launched in January 2010. Addis Ababa hosts the headquarters of the African Union, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and Embassies of many francophone countries, and international organizations which have French as one of their official languages. As a matter of fact, there is definitely a demand for qualified French speaking professionals. The development of a French speaking pool represents among the works that we envisage within the framework of the perspectives opened by this thesis. It also aims at opening new perspectives to the training of the Master’s degree within Addis Ababa University and at strengthening cooperation with French speaking schools and universities

Full textSummary Started in 2013 at the Yunus Emre Institute, the objective of this research was to create a set of pedagogical resources to be used with an interactive whiteboard (IW), for ODL, as well as for in class teaching of Turkish language, and to evaluate positive and negative impressions of both users learner and teacher. During the concrete realisation of this platform, the work has finally been split into two different projects, one for ODL and one for face-to-face teaching. We are presenting here the different phases of the design of an electronic handbook to be used with an IW in face-to-face teaching situations. The most significant results concern the feedback from teachers who have been trained in using ICT and who have been teaching Turkish for more than three years. A difference has been highlighted about the quality of data given at the beginning of each training session, the interest of the use of the electronical handbook instead of a paper textbook, the completion of written and oral comprehension exercises and the exploitation of audio materials during class. As for the students, few disparities were noticed along the different initial pedagogical, didactic and technical levels. Nevertheless it has to be pointed out that the Kosovar students appreciated the manual more than the students from other countries and that students, aged between 15 and 22 years old, found the electronical handbook more dynamic and visually attractive than the students from other age categories. They also prefer using this manual outside the classroom

Full textThe work presented in this thesis is a part of the Technology Enhanced Learning domain. It focuses on the proposal of processes, methods and tools that assist teachers and trainers in the reuse and the capitalization of educational scenarios. The objective of the proposed approach named CAPtuRe is to model, evaluate and exploit the contextual information related to a scenario based on its effective observations with the aim to enhance reuse. The main concerns are: (1) the expression and the analysis of the usage context, (2) the evaluation of the relevance of the scenario in a specific context, (3) the indexing of the contexts based on criteria of success and effectiveness of the scenario to define its reuse scope and (4) the proactive suggestion of reuse. We started by specifying a global framework for the engineering and the reuse of educational scenarios. In this context, we have defined a process specifying the scenario lifecycle introducing the contextual dimension and its utilization in a "design by reuse" environment. In order to operationalize this process, we define a generic approach to model the contextual information of a scenario that is enriched by the indicators, an indexing method and an algorithm calculating contextual similarities for the selection and the recommendation of appropriated scenarios to a target learning situation. These contributions are implemented as a software platform and applied to hybrid scenarios usage cases

Full textAt a time when Health Organizations are changing, within the framework of the reform of the Nursing Training System of Reference, and the one of the ever changing professional identities, this doctoral thesis is intending to highlight the question of the objectives and the assessment of the phenomenon related to all the different changes induced by the Nursing Training system of Reference, which confined the impact of the student's professionalization to the executive health trainer's professionalization. At the starting point of an aprioristic research methodology, some different views coming from the spheres of vocational didactics, of anthropology, psychology, sociology and from the philosophy of education, enable us to contemplate the influence of the re-engineering of the Nursing Training, on the professionalization of well targeted actors, but also on the professionalization of different organizations and on professionalization as a profession in itself, so as to master the meaning of the nursing work as a profession. With the purpose of bringing out a systemic vision of the training apparatus and to put some training processes into perspective, a triangulation of sources, rooted in a territorial comparative practice within three different systems, is convened. Furthermore, falling within the scope of the complexity paradigm, professionalization is linked to a specific process, where intrinsic and extrinsic factors to the individual, and to the organizations, enter into dialogue within the fluctuating and unsettled background of the overhaul of paramedical diplomas. This way, whatever the level of professionalization to achieve is, the professionalization-process is committing the collective working party and is also questioning it, while evolving from what is simple to what is more complex, and what is singular to what is collective, with the constant characteristics of the inner-influence and interdependence of the inter-organizational and the interpersonal interactions. From then on, Ingenium acting as an interface between complexity and implexité (the complexity of implications), is inviting itself into the training systems, to leave it up to the human and living character already pre-existing within any organization. This way, referring to men, to their acts, and to the way they are able to develop their genius into acting to learn, is implying a linking-up force at work (« une reliance »), to lead to the understanding and the conception of an inventive and evolutional engineering. Finally the phenomena at stake and the tensions generated from that engineering are highlighting a professionalizing organization, the reflexive culture of which would be the founding mainstay of a professionalizing reciprocity, between the student and the executive health trainer. The transformations generated by that Nursing Training System of Reference, enable us to anticipate the real issue of the passage from practical intelligence (mètis) to practical wisdom (phronésis)

Full textWe are interested in our work by Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) systems design. We aim to assist instructional designers in modelling their intents and in their expression according to the Learning Management System (LMS) where they will be enrolled. We approach a TEL system as a complex system. In order to address, at design time, this complexity that manifests at run time, we focus on contextualization of TEL systems with regard to institutional context. We define institutional context as a set of rules and practices that influence design and run of TEL systems. First, we propose a framework defining interactions between institutional context and a TEL system and exploring contextualization needs. Then, we propose an assisted contextualization process based on Model Driven Approach (MDA) that starts by modelling intents and ends by the specification of a TEL system model specific to a chosen LMS with respect to institutional context features. At intents modelling step, we propose to assist the modelling of reusable pedagogic scenarios in pedagogic templates, the reuse of existent ones and the contextualisation of them. At the step of expression intents according to the chosen LMS, a contextualized transformation process is proposed. It allows to instructional designers to define their transformation rules and then to play an active role in this step which is usually affected to experts. Transformation process is called contextualized since instructional designers are guided by contextual rules and practices of use of LMS tools. A solution is proposed for the modelling of these rules and practices

Full textMicrolearning is based on breaking down and distributing teaching or learning into small content units. This thesis, structured as a series of articles, examines the relevance and feasibility of integrating microlearning within the context of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses). The first quantitative study details the creation and evaluation of a criteria-based grid to identify microlearning in MOOCs and its application to the FUN MOOCs from 2020. The findings indicate that only 31% of these courses align with the concept of microlearning, and there is no difference in the concept's impact on the attainment rate of free attestations. The second qualitative study, based on 15 interviews with FUN MOOC designers, highlights the strong influence of the university model in course design, the essential role of instructional designers, and the use of simple Post-it notes for pedagogical scenario scripting. Synthesizing both studies suggests that a scenario scripting kit could aid in the design and analysis of MOOCs. Consequently, the third article proposes a new methodology centered on "bricks," inspired by microlearning architecture, and introduces a kit named Eduscript Doctor to facilitate its implementation. To validate the kit's capability in modeling MOOCs, three MOOCs were utilized and modeled. Analysis indicates that the methodology and kit are both useful and usable for designers. Future research is necessary to further evaluate the tool and its methodology, both for re-engineering and designing MOOC-based training programs

Full textOur research deals with the relationship that training organizations’ actors, as providers, maintain with e-learning. When the market and expectations seem favorable, that employees (to a lesser extend job-seekers) often face availability, mobility and homogeneity constraints, that the needs for a minimum number of participants in order to (economically) allow the training are sometimes hard to reach, that the knowledge and objectives of each - just like the meaning given to effort - are diverse, that a fast reactivity in front of the emergency of the training needs is a more and more expected requirement in Continuing Professional Education (a very competitive field), its actors do not fully concur with this form of training. But this tendency to rejection seems in contradiction with those organizations’ background, their mission and usual innovative practices. Because experiencing this hiatus as harmful, it comes back to us to look for its causes: therefore the objective of this research is to study the factors taking part in the adoption or reject of e learning. The theoretical approach used here is part of an equation of the change. Five hypotheses, as so many requirements to meet, are investigated in order to understand what hurdles can explain this situation, both for actors and decision-makers. The commitment of learners won’t be examined here, even though this data – exogenous to our research – is of course crucial to the success of this training method. In order not to involve too different organizations, and to focus only on our variables of the change, we reduced our field of research to one single organization which is nationally represented, the network of GRETA (French National Education branch for Adult Education). After a detailed literature review, a qualitative data analysis will be offered to test the assumptions underlying the involvement into e-learning. Our research hopes to contribute to the development of the scientific knowledge about the practices and involvement processes in the design and implementation of a new form of training for adult education

Besides, public markets’ constraints urge the formation centers to adopt few convenient functional for the deployment of appropriates pedagogical and engineerical activities. Failures are increased in all level. From complexity theories, this research suggests a new organizational and productive hypercomplex model at different levels (network, center, pedagogical device, and learning situation). Without wanting to normalize, this modeling wants to rebuild healthy, effective, efficient and harmonizate, new interactions, conducive to different pedagogical practices. Because all these levels are interconnected, they must could easily prop up some with the others, in a recursive, fractal, and dialogical logic, and by the way integrate the same fundamental references

Full textThis thesis in computer science take place in the ILE domain (Interactive Learning Environment) and was realized within the AGATE project (an Approach for Genericity in Assistance To complEx tasks) that aims at proposing generic models and unified tools to make possible the setup of assistance systems in various existing applications. In this project, an assistance editor allows assistance designers to define assistance systems and a generic assistance engine executes these assistance systems on the various target-applications without disturbing them to help final users. These assistance systems are defined by the assistance rules that respect the aLDEAS language. In the educational context, teachers can want to set up assistance system to complete the pedagogical or non-pedagogical software used by learners. Pedagogical engineers therefore have the role of assistance designers and learners are end-users of such assisted applications. Our PhD thesis address the following research question: “How to set up an epiphytic assistance system in the educational context by adopting a generic approach?” In order to answer this research question, we realized this thesis in two steps: first, the study of existing assistances within applications used in the educational context, then the exploitation and enrichment of models and tools of the AGATE project to adapt them to the educational context. In the first step, we studied the applications used by teachers in their courses as well as existing works proposing assistance system. We identified the characteristics of assistance, and classified them by the way they propose the technical assistance (use, handling of applications) and the pedagogical assistance (pedagogical feedback, pedagogical guidance) as well as different modes to sequence assistance elements in the educational context. In the second step, we confronted the models and tools proposed previously in the AGATE project to the characteristics of the assistance identified in educational context. The limitations of the previous models and tools led us to propose two contributions to the aLDEAS language and the SEPIA system in order to adapt them to the educational context. The first limitation relates to the complex definition of various assistance systems in terms of sequence of assistance elements. Whether in an educational context or not, it is important to be able to define easily and explicitly several modes of articulation between the different elements of an assistance system. We therefore proposed a model of articulation between aLDEAS rules in five modes: successive, interactive, simultaneous, progressive, independent. We associated this model with a process of automatic application of constraints of the articulation modes to the rules. This process makes it possible to automatically generate and / or modify the aLDEAS rules by making sure that they are always compatible with the execution of SEPIA assistance engine. This model and this process have been implemented in SEPIA-edu. The second limitation is specific to the educational context. It concerns the complex definition of a pedagogical guidance proposing different learning activities within an existing application. We first proposed an activity model to delimit activities within applications. Then, a pedagogical guidance model allows to define different types of pedagogical guidance (free, sequential, contextualized, temporal, personalized). A pedagogical guidance pattern was proposed to define a composed pedagogical guidance which can combine several types of pedagogical guidance. Finally, a process of the transformation of a pedagogical guidance into aLDEAS rules allows to automatically generate and modify aLDEAS rules. This model of activity, this pedagogical guidance pattern and this process have been implemented in SEPIA-edu

Full textWhilst the equality of rights between women and men seems to be on the way to being achieved, equality in practice does necessarily follow course. Based on sociological work in gender studies, this didactic research is based on the following premise : equality between men and women emerges from a mutual recognition between men and women of their equal power to act. Moreover, a mutual recognition between boys and girls in knowledge, in other words an epistemic boy-girl recognition from an early age and thereafter, favours a mutual recognition between men and women at later ages. The study explores the following question : what didactic conditions are conducive to an epistemic boy-girl recognition in reading and writing? The case studied concerns the writing of a story invented in mixed pairs in first grade. It is analysed from the framework of the theory of joint action in didactics, and is based on work in the philosophy of equality from Fraisse. To understand and improve the practice, this research implemented a methodology of cooperative didactic engineering. The thesis is composed of two parts. The first part presents the epistemological background to the study where the concretisation of gender equality is considered in didactic situations, starting with the epistemic boy-girl recognition. The second part shows the development of the study’s didactic engineering : Boy-girl co-writing, in symmetry, in first grade. Through an internal validation of engineering variables, the study reveals how the professors-searcher group manages to invent a device, the draft-band, which is conducive to the emergence of signs of epistemic recognition of boy-girl writing in first grade

My area of interest is centered around a kind of corporate memory known as “Professional Memory”. My thesis is based on knowledge appropriation taken from a professional memory. It involves supporting a novice employee by providing them with the expert knowledge of the domain, the “know how” so that he can perform tasks needed by the company. The goal is to use the principles of knowledge engineering, to transfer this knowledge to the employee. The alliance of these two approaches allows the development of a practical, performant, system of learning

Full textThe definition of the continuity of functions at a given point, as well as the concept of continuity, remains a major difficulty in teaching and learning analysis. It presents FUG aspects in the sense of Robert (1982) so it must be introduced with particular attention to the mediations and the role of the teacher. In this thesis, we propose a didactic engineering (in the sense of M. Artigue) integrating TICE, which takes into account the potentialities of the computer tool and the specificities of the notion studied. It is based on a software application whose design takes into account the study of relief (epistemological, didactic and curricular) on the notion of continuity that we lead at the beginning of this research. As a result, selected activities are proposed in a thoughtful way and based on previous work related to our research topic, such as those of Robert (1982) (band engineering) and those of Tall and Vinner (palette of functions). These activities involve different frameworks and registers, with reference to Douady (1986) and Duval (1996), and they respect a certain level of conceptualization aimed at, as well as the associated field of work, which are specified at the study of the issue of the relief on the notion of continuity. These activities are a support for introducing the different definitions (kinematic and formal) of this new concept, through the tasks proposed in the software. They are supplemented by pencil paper tasks, which also allow to work the dialectic "Tool / Object" for the implementation of the formalized definition. The experimental phase of our engineering, which is preceded by a priori study of the tasks proposed by the software, is done through the realization of the three teaching and learning sessions on the introduction of the notion of continuity in three third-grade classes (scientific math and science sections) and a regular session declared useful in the evaluation of our engineering. In addition to the data collected at the end of this experiment (students' traces of the software, video recordings of the four sessions), a post-test based on a few paper-and-pencil exercises involving the expected level of conceptualization is proposed to two groups of students (one of whom took advantage of sessions with the software). We placed ourselves in the framework of the theory of activity developed at the LDAR by Robert, Rogalski and more recently Vandebrouck, based on the works of Piaget, Vergnaud on the one hand - reference to conceptualization in action - and Vygotsky on the other hand - the importance of mediations and the ZPD in conceptualization. This importance of ZPD and mediations at the level of conceptualization is due to the FUG aspects of the definition of continuity. This theoretical framework, which led to the design of the technological tool, touches on most of the aspects we consider important for the conceptualization of continuity (with simple and / or complex tasks, processing, organization and recognitions, and opportunities for procedural or constructive mediation). A posteriori analysis of the collected data allowed us to conclude that the software seems to be a good support for proximities (descending, ascending and horizontal) for the construction of students' sense of mathematical concepts (continuity, image of a interval by a function ...), it offers for the teacher, the possibility to put more value in the formalism (symbols and words), including with intermediate, transitory formulations (by horizontal proximities) as well as knowledge in logic

Full textThis PhD Thesis is part of the field of Information and Communication Sciences and deals with the question of information architecture as a paradigm for distance learning devices. A theoretical and conceptual framework located in the notion of device (micro, meso and macro scales) and anchored in the study of uses (“Sociologie des usages” and “Sociologie de l’innovation”) makes it possible to position information architecture as an intermediate principle between the designer-user relationship and raises the following research question: how is mediation operated in distance learning devices? The hypothesis is that in such devices, the functional perspective takes precedence over the normative perspective of communication. This hypothesis is tested through a qualitative approach which is based on the one hand on an observation of distance learning interfaces and on the other hand on semi-structured interviews conducted with the design teams. The case study is about M@gistère, a device dedicated to the training of teachers. It emerges from the content analysis that in fact, in M@gistère it is the normative perspective that prevails over the functional perspective of communication, even if in this device the context seems to take precedence over the content and over the users. The study also shows that information architecture is at the service of mediation in a device. Mediation is a facilitator of uses and appropriation. Finally, the study contributes to information architecture through a model to observe the interface of a distance training device and analyze the organization of information

Full textThis thesis is in the field of Instructional Design, an Anglo-Saxon field of research that generates knowledge to improve the design of environments for direct and explicit learning. Current research shows that learning from complex environments allow learners to confront authentic situations from the realities of life and show interesting performance, especially in transfer situations. Complex environments are characterized by the presence of many elements and many interactions that can’t be easily dealt with by the working memory and greatly degrade the learning performance. In this case, the cognitive load theory recommends a two-step approach by presenting first extracts elements of the whole and the whole. From an empirical contribution based on four experiments which handled the complexity of the learning material, the degree of isolation and sequencing of the presentation, we show that for highly complex environments, the best learning performance are obtained by introducing the complexity in the first step. To explain these results, we rely on the desirable difficulties theory and theories of engagement

Full textE-learning has been developed in our contemporary society in order to propose faster and cheaper adult training so that they will become “competent” professionals. Thus, it is common to promote the functional aspects of knowledge and the technical dimensions of teaching in an e-learning class. In this perspective, knowledge becomes a good to consume rather than to reveal from our own experiences. This thesis proposes to reverse this logic by describing the Open and Distance Learning (ODL), not as a learning process to be mastered but as an environment that allows the adult to learn from his own experiences and projects. Therefore, reflexivity, deliberation and integration of knowledge appear in the foreground. The field research involves two blended and alternative trainings, combining several training sessions led by seven trainers of popular education. Part of an inductive approach, this research demonstrates methodological triangulation by mobilizing several data collection tools, such as surveys and semi-directional interviews. Furthermore, the research’s methodology combines qualitative (categorical) and quantitative (statistical and lexicometric) data analysis. The study contributes to the development of an engineering for Open and Integrative Distance Learning (OIDL). The articulation between ODL and alternative training leads to a model enabling to consider the integrative function of distance and the experiential accompaniment practices

Full textIn this thesis, we are working to solve an enigma by implementing a “research in action”: how has complex instrumented educational dispositif – CIED – become complex instrumented educational service – CIES ? And more specifically: what are the ingredients that have participated in the effectiveness of the coupling of a university and a learning management system and how can we study the modes of emergence and existence in a meso organizational and decisional register and at the mesosystem class ?This enigma is solved by mobilizing the CIED as a boundary object and epistemological and methodological tools such as: the dispositive approach, the ecological / systemic approach and activity theory. The analysis involves achieving a holistic reading of history. This methodological approach highlights the propensity of a dispositif to generate objects defined as related objects. The exploration of the properties of these related objects shows that it is possible to define a historical continuum and undo the discontinuities of the activity inherent in the computer traces

Full textWith the development of Internet and Web 2.0, distance learning has benefitted from unprecedented technological advances for the last twenty years. This technological innovation context encourages to put aside the reflection on distance, as a physical separation, for the benefit of the one of presence, by building on the social and collective dimensions of learning. The concept of « presence » in distance learning, most extensively studied in North America, is in France the object of a recent modelling by Jézégou (2012, 2019, 2020). Here, the author treats presence as the result of a relational, collective and publicized dynamic. Thus, this theoretical model of the Social Presence in e-Formation adopts the principle according to which some forms of social interactions during collective activities enable to create a presence in between learners, as well as between learners and teachers/trainers, within a numeric communication environment. This Ph.D. thesis carries on the trail of this model which it contributes through the implementation of predominantly empirical research. It consists of two empirical components and is based on a comprehensive and inductive approach. Its purpose is to understand the way which some learners, involved in a system of online learning, can sense the presence of their peers from the moment they start interacting with them within the framework of carrying out small group collective activities. The body of evidence is composed of thirty-six individual interviews carried out between 2018 and 2020. Thirty learners, from two promotions involved in the same online learning system, have contributed to the research. Firstly, two quantitative analysis done by statistic treatment of qualitative data give a synoptic view of the vocabulary used in the learners’ language. The results of the analysis show the importance that these learners attach to the socio-affective dimension of the interactions between peers. In a second step, three qualitative analysis, performed by analysing with the help of conceptualizing categories (Paillé et Mucchielli, 2016), enable to get deeper into the understanding of the socio-affective dimension of the interactions between peers and, in fine, to contribute to a conceptualisation of the socio-affective presence in on-line learning. These results highlight the importance of a self-recognition by the others, of a relational intimacy, a comforting social environment and a sense of community to develop an interactional dynamic and, thus, a socio-affective presence. These results, put into perspective in the form of a discussion, will support this theoretical construction

The objective of this research is thus oriented to the study of the interactions between school management (meso level) and the actions developed at a micro level (meaning pedagogic dynamics). The research strategy is made of several methodologies such as participative observation, active Iistening during interviews and an action - research approach

Full textThe new generation of engineers must be trained to measure the economic, environmental and societal impacts of their decisions, from an international perspective and on a local and global scale. Supporting the transition to sustainable engineering, training and being trained in this engineering field have therefore become major challenges for society, industry, training institutions at all levels, teachers and students from recent years. In a system that is both global and local, collective and individual, designing, producing, selling, using and recycling increasingly complex products are also complex problems for engineers to solve. They must adopt an integrative and systemic approach to be prepared to meet such challenges, which transcend the boundaries of any single discipline or culture. It is therefore necessary to question the capacity of the current education system, and in particular the organization and content of higher education courses in engineering, whether initial or lifelong, to provide an appropriate response to these challenges. Our work consisted initially in making an inventory of the integration of sustainable development in French training to identify the strengths and weaknesses of current programs. Based on this observation and by studying the scientific literature, we have identified skills and knowledge in sustainable engineering necessary to develop and have made proposals to participate in the evolution of the current system. We have organized them into a sustainable engineering competencies block and have proposed a structuring reference framework - the ROSET model. This model should help institutions, teaching teams and teachers to design their own training path. A model of the implementation process completes and operationalizes it. The last part of this work presents some examples of educational activities to help teachers who want to engage in a new educational proposition based on this framework of competences

Full textThe patient's handling activity is often considered by caregivers to be an undervalue task. In addition, each year it generates health damage among professionals. In response to this disaster of training courses are proposed. Mostly guided by a safe approach, professionals are not very receptive. Training are too often based on a masterful, demonstrative pedagogy centered on learning techniques and their application. This thesis reflects an iterative design approach to "reasoned handling care" training (RHC). The research is based on empirical data collected in the design and deployment of training sessions. An innovative simulation methodology has been implemented not to train the "right gesture" but to help caregivers towards the construction of a suitable gesture which becomes a path of emancipation for the professional and respect for the autonomy and well-being of the beneficiary. The handling activity is thus approached as a problem-solving activity based on the experience of the participants, seeking to bring out their embedded knowledge, working on opportunities for collaboration between the patient and the caregiver. The trainer does not demonstrate, she has a guiding role. The proposed solutions are discussed within the collective during the test of the scenario by the designers, during the simulation that are played in front of an audience of learners or during the debriefing. Debates on professional practices, observed or reported, can thus be engaged offering professionals new perspectives to understand handling in a different way. It becomes a source of emancipation, development for the caregiver and a possibility of autonomy, well-being for the beneficiary

Almost nearly all of this work is interested on the documents structure, standardization, mutualization, customizing ... In contrast, few or very few are those who ask the question about the end user needs and expectations. We ask if thinking in this direction should be continued, because it seems us that such modeling content undoubtedly facilitate their understanding and reuse. Based on the previous work, and to make a new contribution to the teaching engineering field, we stand at the border formed by the cognitive and educational use with the sequences teaching design, mediation and the empathetic relationship need with the learner and the teacher, which makes the originality of this research. This problem led us to hypothesize that from an analysis of the learner needs and expectations, we can identify factors which can contribute to the e -learning document development answering to his satisfaction. To achieve our goal, a protocol for data collecting has been set up for the purpose is to identify criteria quality e-learning document according to the “Learner”, the “Designer” and the “Maker” views. We rely on the interviews results with the CNS My Rachid-IRFC teachers and makers. Thus, we discuss the methodology adopted by applying the EBAHIE method. In the experiment, the protocol - called A.Co.D - reveals a robust method to cross several information sources creating synergies several approaches and tools to achieve the comprehensive results on the asked problem: 1- In a first time, the “Learner” approach allows us to understand their perception to propose recommendations to designers. document. 2- In a second time, a “Designer” approach is subject to exchange experiences designers how learners perceived and used the document . 3- The third approach involves crossing the established criteria in the “Learner” process with those released during the “Designer” process. 4- In a fourth time, the “Maker” approach allows finally identifying needs help in decision making. Thus, we arrive at the formalization of our e-learning document design model in Sport field, by providing designers all parameters to develop a quality document

Full textFollowing a brief presentation of the Korean education system, and a brief history of French language teaching in this region, from the first French missionaries to the success of the Delf-Dalf certifications, we sought to understand why, the teaching of French does not seem to have the same appeal to most of the 27,000 Korean high school students to whom it is still being taught today. Considering the recommendations of the European Commission for language teaching, giving particular attention to the conclusions of the cognitive sciences in education, we shall demonstrate that the enrolment of French exchange students as peer instructors, along with online engaging activities, would likely revive the interest of those young Korean learners. Analyzing the technological habits of this generation who was born with the Internet, led us to believe that, despite the reluctance of teachers to use these so-called ‘educational’ technologies, their implementation seems indeed appropriate, first to drive practices forward, and furthermore, to make human encounters easier. We will share our views on how our roles as instructors have evolved since setting up a participatory teaching network among secondary school and undergraduate students of French. The analysis of the interviews and surveys we have been conducting periodically over several years, in order to probe the difficulties of developing such a site, shows that beyond technology, designing and sharing teaching resources has opened promising and unexpected perspectives: along with increasing usage of internet technologies, lively student interaction is still an essential part of language acquisition
