Nosso objetivo foi avaliar o efeito do oxigênio (O2) e dos broncodilatadores (BD) sozinhos ou associados, no alívio da dispnéia e desempenho físico. Foram feitas inalação de 5 mg de salbutamol + 500 ug de brometo de ipratrópio seguidas de teste dos seis minutos com O2 ou ar comprimido em 28 pacientes com DPOC, dispnéia aos esforços e SaO2 menor que 89%. A solid phase extraction (SPE) using Oasis HLB was optimised to isolate formoterol from a urine matrix followed by HPLC with UV detection.
