Abstract:
A full-fledged data exploration system must combine different access modalities with a powerful concept of guiding the user in the exploration process, by being reactive and anticipative both for data discovery and for data linking. Such systems are a real opportunity for our community to cater to users with different domain and data science expertise. We introduce INODE - an end-to-end data exploration system - that leverages, on the one hand, Machine Learning and, on the other hand, semantics for the purpose of Data Management (DM). Our vision is to develop a classic unified, comprehensive platform that provides extensive access to open datasets, and we demonstrate it in three significant use cases in the fields of Cancer Biomarker Research, Research and Innovation Policy Making, and Astrophysics. INODE offers sustainable services in (a) data modeling and linking, (b) integrated query processing using natural language, (c) guidance, and (d) data exploration through visualization, thus facilitating the user in discovering new insights. We demonstrate that our system is uniquely accessible to a wide range of users from larger scientific communities to the public. Finally, we briefly illustrate how this work paves the way for new research opportunities in DM.

Abstract:
Inode is one of the subsystems of WAFL(Write Anywhere File Layout) file system. Inode cache is a dynamic subsystem that is percentage factor of available memory. Based on different workflows and the datasets inode cache grows and shrinks. Based on the study of customer related issues it is found that deploying such a workload and datasets at the scale, that customers typically deploy and exercise inode cache for the whole duration of test is very challenging, considering quality assurance test typically focuses on multiple subsystems. Inode cache behavior differs with steady state versus performance disruptive workflows such as volume offline, volume online, volume migration and backup/vault use cases. Based on the behavior observed on the internal test systems it is found inode cache disruptive workflows are exercised only during certain stages but not repeatedly for the duration of test and also it is hard to find out which volume is experiencing performance issues due to inode cache invalidation/shrink/rewarning. In this paper, trying to exercise the performance behavior of inode subsystem like the way customer does and try to monitor and model the subsystem using automation. Here considering the different key attributes and typical operations that effect the inode cache behavior and some of the interested counters statistics that need to be monitored for analyzing the performance behavior of inode cache. Exercising inode cache operations requires constant focus on how the inode cache is performing. Repeat and Rerun some of the targeted workflows for inode cache population invalidation/ shrink operations at constant intervals to model the behavior of the inode subsytem.

Abstract:
Abstract Broadcasting in Ad hoc networks is an important information dissemination way. However, flooding may give rise to broadcast storm problem which causes severe contention, collision and delay. This paper proposes a dynamic probabilistic broadcast algorithm based on neighbour discovery that ensures the higher reliability at lower retransmission. The dynamic probabilistic broadcast algorithm forwards the information from the node (INode) that has obtained it to the node (UNode) that has not received it. By counting the number of UNode and INode of neigbors, INodes dynamically adjust the probability of broadcasting to reduce the number of information replication but cover more UNodes. Dynamic probabilistic algorithm can not only effectively reduce the number of retransmission, but also ensure the effectiveness and reliability. Simulation results show that the number of broadcasting of this algorithm is significantly lower than other algorithms.

Abstract:
Traditional file systems have some shortages in storing small files, such as randomness of data layout, waste of disk space and lack of inode resources. In this thesis, a log-structured file system named LevelFS based on LevelDB is presented. By setting the write buffer, it can make disk randomized writes of small files into disk sequential writes, and reduce the distance of related data, so as to improve the read and write performance of file system. Experiments show that LevelFS can greatly improve read and write performance of small files without affect the large ones.

Abstract:
This study focuses on the design and optimization of a cascade aerator for Bells University of Technology's water treatment plant to meet future water demand projections. Providing an adequate supply of clean and safe water to the University community is highly critical for the prevention of life threatening waterborne diseases such as cholera, typhoid and dysentery. By utilizing the iNODE Design software, which integrates human-controlled adjustments and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven optimizations, the aerator components such as the inlet shaft, steps and planner area, and collection launder, were meticulously designed. Quantitative parameters, including a calculated inlet shaft diameter of 0.564 meters and flow velocity of 0.2 m/s, adhered to standards from the Central Public Health and Environmental Engineering Organization (CPHEEO) manual. The steps and planner area featured a cascade area of 2.694 m² and four steps, meeting area criteria of 0.018m²/m³/hr. The collection launder, with a flow velocity of 0.6 m/s and total depth of 0.369 meters, ensured effective water collection and transfer. Results obtained showed the aerator design is robust, efficient and capable of handling the anticipated water demands, thereby ensuring a reliable and safe water supply for the university's growing population. This comprehensive approach guarantees the aerator's efficiency in removing dissolved gases and maintaining water quality, laying a foundation for sustainable water supply management amidst campus growth.

Abstract:
Anger is one of the most common human experiences that brings about an intricate diversity of problem-mental as well as physical throughout life. Experience of anger is likely to be expressed as anger-in mode in Korean culture. With respect to the expression of anger, anger-in inode showed powerful predictors to Hwa-Byung'. Sufferers of ’Hwa-Byung’ in the present study tended to be females in sex and older in age. The causes of ’Hwa-Byung' were considered also as the causes of 'Hann’. 'Hwa-Byung' is common line in etiological life experiences and emotional reactions with 'Hann'. 'Hwa-Byung’ can be said to be a pathological condition of 'Hann' resulting from failure to overcome 'Hann' for an extended span of time. This study was designed to identify the experiences of elderly women's anger pheno menon. The subjects were 5 elderly women. Data were collected by recording and transcribing interviews and analyzed in the framework of grounded theory as shaped out by Strauss and Corbin(1998).The core category in the analysis of the phenomenon of elderly women's anger was "being impatient". In the process of data analysis, categories were identified. These categories were further grouped into central category and conditions of different kinds.Based upon these results, it is expected that the theoretical framework provided by this study, which shows how 'anger' occurs, changes, develops and resolve will help nursing practitioners develop a better understanding of anger and offer more efficient nursing intervention to prevention ’Hwa-Byung’.

Abstract:
This research article propose a novel fuzzy logic controller (FLC) for fuzzification of the standard UNIX find(1) command. The interface of the proposed ffind(1) command is more user friendly and efficiently handles imprecise conditions. The FLC of the novel fuzzy-find (ffind(1)) shell command is written in C language, and it can locate files and directories using three associated timestamps (mtime, ctime, and atime). The user specifies the search criteria which can be any of the three times in days, the ffind(1) command recursively reads the timestamps from inode blocks of all the files under the given directory hierarchy. The ffind(1) command converts the file timestamps (number of seconds passed since UNIX epoch) into days, and then the difference between user given value and each of the file’s timestamp is calculated. These crisp differences of each file are input to our proposed fuzzy logic controller, which finally generates a crisp selection index (S.I.) value for each file. The file having the maximum S.I. value is the target file. Moreover, the user can also give a threshold value to see the sorted list of files that are a close match to the given selection criteria. The proposed study designed an algorithm that demonstrates the complete working of ffind(1) command and also compare the standard UNIX find(1) command with the novel ffind(1) command using different data sets. The results show that the proposed ffind(1) command performs significantly better than the vanilla flavour find(1) command. The proposed ffind(1) command once added in the /bin directory of any UNIX based system will allow the users of the system to make use of the more powerful and flexible features of ffind(1) in order to search for files and directories in a more user friendly or fuzzy way, which is the way humans thinks.

Abstract:
Indian English only (IndE-only), e.g. “I’ll meet you here only”, is rejected as poor English by many IndE speakers. In the present study, we used a mixed method to investigate familiarity, comprehension and use of IndE-only in 20 L1 IndE speakers in the US. Participants completed a psycholinguistic task comprising syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic judgments of IndE, standard English, and grammatically or semantically odd control sentences. L1 IndE speakers’ task performance was compared to a control group of 33 American English speakers. Results showed that IndE speakers were familiar with syntactic aspects of IndE-only consistent with the literature, and were able to extract significantly more information about implicatures and conversational contexts compared to the control group. L1 IndE speakers were also interviewed about their attitudes towards IndE and IndE-only. Qualitative results indicated that despite some stigmatization, mostly in the written form, IndE-only exemplifies the emerging identity of L1 IndE.

Abstract:
Objectives: To compare the frequency of severe mitral regurgitation after percutaneous mitral balloon valvuloplasty (PMBV) via Inoue balloon and multi-track balloon technique in our population. Methodology: In this retrospective observational study which was conducted at a tertiary care cardiac center of Karachi, Pakistan between 2015 and 2020 on Hospital registry of PMBV patients. Data were categorized in to two groups, Inoue balloon or multi-track balloon technique. Post procedure echocardiographic and catheterization parameters and in-hospital outcomes and complications, including severe MR, were compared between two groups. Results: Out of 470 PMBV procedures, 286 (60.9%) were performed with multi-track and 184 (39.1%) with Inoue balloon. Improvement in mitral value area was significantly higher with multi-track as compared to Inoue balloon (0.66±0.31 cm2 vs. 0.56±0.29 cm2; p<0.001). Severe MR was not significant, 3.5% (10/286) vs. 4.3% (8/184); p=0.639 for multi-track and Inoue balloon. One patient in Inoue balloon group and two patients in multi-track group required emergency valve surgery. Stroke was observed in two patients of multi-track group and two patients from the same group developed tamponade. No in-hospital mortality was observed. Conclusion: Post-procedure severe MR is a significant and frequent complication. Rate of post procedure severe MR are similar for PMBV via Inoue balloon and multi-track balloon. Both methods are equally effective with equal success rate.

Abstract:
One of the challenges in characterizing non-native varieties of English is accounting for variant uses of ostensibly standard English forms. The present corpus study examines both quantitative and qualitative aspects of pluperfect use in Indian English (IndE), British English (BrE), and American English (AmE). IndE is found to differ from native usage by associating had + V-ed with present perfect and preterite meanings. Licensing of pluperfect contexts by time adverbials is also found to be significantly lower in IndE. AmE shows the lowest overall use of the pluperfect and the highest use of disambiguating adverbials. Thus, AmE and IndE show distinct patterns of divergence from BrE. Variation within IndE exhibits a tendency for greater non-nativeness in regional (vs. national) press and in bureaucratic (vs. press) registers, suggesting a multidimensional distribution of IndE nonstandardness in India. These nonstandard uses are shown to convey new pragmatic meanings deriving from ambiguity in the native system and reinforcement from substrate languages. Finally, these changes are evaluated in relation to the broader tense–modality–aspect system of IndE as well as those of other non-native Englishes which exhibit similar characteristics.

Abstract:
Raffinose family oligosaccharides (RFOs) are α-galactosyl derivatives of sucrose or glucose. They are found in a large variety of seeds from many different families such as beans, vegetables and whole grains. Due to absence of α-galactosidase in the digestive tract of humans and other monogastric animals, RFOs are responsible for intestinal disturbances (flatulence) following the ingestion of legume-derived products. Structural relationships of RFOs and their enzymatic degradation mechanism are described. Concentration and distribution from various seed sources are introduced. The present status on removal of the RFOs (such as soaking, cooking, germination, and addition of α-galactosidase) is summarized. At the meantime, α-galactosidases from botanic and microbial sources and their partial enzymatic properties are also presented in detail. Based on a comparison of various removal treatments, the microbial α-galactosidases are thought as the most optimum candidate for removing RFOs in legumes, and the ideal system for the RFO removal is proposed.
