Abstract:
The concept of man according to the Qur'an is understood by paying attention to the words that each man is pointing at the meaning of Bechar, insane, and al - nas. God used the concept of Bechar in the Qur'an 37 times, the concept of Bechar is always connected to the biological properties of human origin such as clay or dry plate, the human eating and drinking, Bechar is just a creature being) static like animals. Abstract:
ABSTRACT Bazin's famous essay touting the photograph's identicality with its subject was precedented by photography's early relation to empirical investigation in the human sciences (the psychiatry). Contrary to this, what this author wishes to reinforce in this paper is that perception is constructed and integrally bound up with conceptual processes. This paper thus constitutes a short examination of what this author calls the "Photographic Insane," and illustrates how images of madness use, and require for their interpretation, a particular, and culturally shared "schematic" framework.

Abstract:
The question of whether psychopaths are criminally and morally responsible has generated significant controversy in the literature. In this paper, we discuss what relevance a psychopathy diagnosis has for criminal responsibility. It has been argued that figuring out whether psychopathy is a mental illness is of fundamental importance, because it is a precondition for psychopaths’ eligibility to be excused via the legal insanity defense. But even if psychopathy counts as a mental illness, this alone is not sufficient to show the insanity defense is applicable; it must also be shown that, as a result of the illness, specific deficits in moral understanding or control are present. In this paper, we show that a diagnosis of psychopathy will generally not indicate that a defendant is eligible for an insanity defense. This is because the group of individuals subsumed under the diagnosis is so heterogeneous that while some psychopaths do show significant impairments in affect and control which may impact on their responsibility, many psychopaths are not incapacitated in a way relevant to responsibility.

Abstract:
This article looks into the establishment and development of two criminal asylums in Norway. Influenced by international psychiatry and a European reorientation of penal law, the country chose to institutionalize insane criminals and criminally insane in separate asylums. Norway’s first criminal asylum was opened in 1895, and a second in 1923, both in Trondheim. Both asylums quickly filled up with patients who often stayed for many years, and some for their entire lives. The official aim of these asylums was to confine and treat dangerous and disruptive lunatics. Goffman postulates that total institutions typically fall short of their official aims. This study examines records of the patients who were admitted to the two Trondheim asylums, in order to see if the official aims were achieved.

Abstract:
Where writings in abnormal and clinical psychology refer to the ways in which the ‘insane’ were dealt with in the past, they almost universally assume that the two dominant features were the asylum and the asylum doctor. The large, nineteenth century public asylums were built for the ‘pauper insane’ and the vast majority of those regarded as insane were pauper insane. As a consequence of this the Poor Law played a crucial role in the care of the insane and it was the local Poor Law officials who, together with magistrates, determined who were to be regarded as the pauper insane and whether such individuals were to be sent to the asylum or dealt with in other ways. Even at the end of the nineteenth century about 20% of the pauper insane were resident in workhouses and not asylums. There was also considerable local variation in how officials handled the problem of insanity. Many of the pauper insane retained in workhouses remained there for long periods and their treatment was often unsatisfactory.

Abstract:
A current situation in Connecticut of whether a violent insane acquittee should be held in a state prison or psychiatric facility raises difficult issues in jurisprudence and medical ethics. Overlooked is that the present case of Francis Anderson reiterates much of the debate over rationalization of policy during the formative nineteenth century. Contrary to theories of social control and state absolutism, governance in Connecticut was largely episodic, indecisive and dilatory over much of the century. The extraordinary urban and industrial transformation at the end of the Gilded Age finally forced a coherent response in keeping with longstanding legal and medical perspectives.

Abstract:
Arkham Asylum is home to some of popular culture's most notorious super villains. The neglect and inadequate care these villains receive mirrors a real-world context where mental illness is surrounded by stigma, misunderstanding, and poor rehabilitation rates. This study explores the less glossy niches between the action-packed button-mashing on the surface of a popular Batman video game Batman: Arkham Asylum. By pulling back the curtain over the routine treatment of Arkham Asylum's patients (also known as inmates), it presents a set of good practices for improving their care through more effective communication. Recorded audio interviews from the video game constitutes the foundation for this set of good practices tailored to the needs of the fictional facility. Narrative inquiry is used to pull these recommendations from the data. Based on narrative elements found in the data, this study recommends an empathy-driven and preventative approach to treating Gotham's criminally insane population.

Abstract:
The article is the result of the research on the practice of applying a protective measure in the form of placement in a forensic psychiatric facility an insane perpetrator, before and after July 1st, 2015. The purpose of the research was to determine whether and how outpatient protective measures influenced the practice of applying psychiatric detention in case of insane persons, in particular, whether outpatient treatment is used instead of placement in a psychiatric facility in the case of committing offences with a lower degree of social harmfulness. The purpose of the research on the procedural law was to determine whether the judicature of the Supreme Court emphasizing the procedural standard in cases concerning the discontinuation of proceedings against an insane perpetrator affected the observance of procedural guarantees of insane perpetrators in criminal proceedings. The conclusions of the research are based on the statistical data of the Ministry of Justice, the General Prosecutor’s Office and the file research. The conclusions of the research are as follows: there was no significant change concerning the practice of imposing placement in a psychiatric facility on insane perpetrators after July 1st, 2015. The types of prohibited acts the commission of which justify placing the perpetrator in a psychiatric facility have not changed significantly. On the other hand, the procedural guarantees of the insane perpetrator are respected to a slightly higher degree at present. Therefore, it should be considered whether the conditions for the application of placement in a psychiatric facility should not be restricted only to a situation where the perpetrator poses a threat to selected, most important legal goods.

Abstract:

Ardından yöneticilik ve liderlikte merhamet kavramının Kur’an’i temeline işaret ettiği düşünülen Âl-i İmrân suresi 159. ayet, klasik tefsir örnekleri ile değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT The association between memory loss and Hodgkin's lymphoma has been given the eponym of Ophelia syndrome, in memory of Shakespeare's character in The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. Nevertheless, there are differences between the disease and the character. Objective: To review the origins and uses of the eponym through an original article by pathologist Ian Carr, its relation to the character Ophelia, and the related autoantibodies. Methods: Historical narrative review. Results: Besides an eloquent description in the original article, Carr presaged the presence of autoantibodies, before they had been thoroughly researched. Since then, five different autoantibodies (mGluR5, Hu, NMDAR, SOX, PCA2) have been associated with Hodgkin's disease. It is interesting to note the divergent outcomes of Shakespeare's character and the patient in the original description by Carr, the latter recovering to lead a normal life, and the former deceased. Conclusions: Although there is little relationship between the fictional character and the syndrome, both imply the unintentional trigger of self-harm (suicide in one case, autoimmunity in the other), thus remaining associated.
