Abstract:
Verejná zdravotná starostlivosť sa v Uhorsku dostala do záujmovej sféry štátu a súčasne sa začala intenzívne rozvíjať v období osvietenstva. Jednou z najdôležitejších úloh štátu (na čele ktorého bola Mária Terézia v čase najintenzívnejšieho sťahovania Slovákov na Dolnú zem) bolo chrániť obyvateľstvo pred často sa šíriacimi nákazlivými chorobami. Školy boli inštitúcie, prostredníctvom ktorých sa najrýchlejšie mohli uskutočňovať tieto výchovno-vzdelávacie intencie osvietenských panovníkov a cez tlačené médiá, hlavne katechizmy o zdraví a školské učebnice, preniknúť medzi všetky (gramotné) vrstvy obyvateľstva. Cieľom tohto výskumu bolo zistiť úroveň zdravotnej výchovy a starostlivosti, ako i hygienické podmienky a zdravotné opatrenia v každodennom živote konkrétnej slovenskej dolnozemskej ľudovej školy v Kysáči na rozhraní 19. a 20. storočia prostredníctvom Zápisnice zasadnutí školskej stolice cirkvi evanj. a. v. Kysácskej od r. 1895. Skúmaním obsahovej náplne učebníc, ktoré sa používali v ľudovej škole v Kysáči bolo zistené, aké vedomosti z oblasti zdravovedy boli žiakom dostupné a tiež aj aké informácie o zdravotnej starostlivosti mohli sprostredkovať učitelia z dostupnej odbornej literatúry. Na doplnenie informácií sú použité školské zákony a zákonné zdravotné články a predpisy, učiteľské príručky, ako i pedagogické časopisy tej doby.

Predložený článok sa využívaním metód analýzy a komparácie venuje výskumu polepšovacej (ochrannej) výchovy na území dnešného Slovenska v rámci pôvodne uhorskej právnej úpravy z počiatku 20. storočia a neskoršej unifikovanej československej právnej úpravy. Článok tiež skúma košické reálie výkonu ústavnej polepšovacej výchovy v skúmanom období so zameraním na transformáciu pôvodne uhorského ústavu na československú inštitúciu a približuje problémy s tým spojené.

Abstract:
Important role in the integration process is played by the EU institutions. The subject of the thesis are description and analysis of the transformation of the European institutions, reforms of the founding treaties and the law of the Union. The theoretical part provides the reader with an overview of the EU institutions, their structure, competences and development. At the end, the theoretical part deals with problems of the institutions, provides solutions and indicates potential trends of the EU institutions developement. The empirical part deals with the interests and opinions of the Czech public on the EU functioning EU. The results provided that the public is aware of their electoral rights, know their representatives and watches how they vote. Although the public is not satisfied with the functioning of the EU chooses the option to remain in the Union.

Záverečná časť práce analyzuje dôležitosť vzdelávania v boji s chudobou a popisuje vybrané vzdelávacie projekty jendotlivých inštitúcií.

Ivana Miková MAGISTERSKÁ DIPLOMOVÁ PRÁCE Praha 2013 Abstract: The thesis discusses the impact of intellectual property rights on economic development of NAFTA. It is based on the theoretical assumptions of the new institutional economics and its notion of transaction costs and institutions and their impact on economic growth, in particular the impact of intellectual property rights, which are an important part of the NAFTA treaty and are contained in chapter 17. of the NAFTA Agreement. Their impact is connected with the new growth theory, which considers innovation and new technology as a major source of economic development. The empirical analysis has found that measures of IPRs contributed to transfer technologies and economic development. Mexico has become the main beneficiary. In the U.S., the situation in the field of innovation and economic development associated with IPRs has not changed significantly, compared with the period before the emergence of NAFTA.

It also led to the recommendations for preparation of marketing strategies for Czech public universities towards foreign institutions.

Abstract:
The topic of my work was The Repatriation of Czechs and Slovaks into Czechoslovakia after the First World War. I describe the years 1918 - 1923 in Central Europe, specifically in Czechoslovakia and in other new succession states after Austria-Hungary. My work is divided into 4 different chapters, introduction and conclusion. The first chapter describes the First World War and its consequences for Central European region. It also describes economic problems in succession states, the changes of territory, situation in Czechoslovakia after 1918 and it characterizes population in key countries (Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria and Poland) for my topic. The second chapter is focused on Czechoslovakia. It shortly explains reasons of emigration and immigration of Czechs and Slovaks before and also after the First World War. It describes factors which have big influence on repatriation in Czechoslovakia (for example land reform). The third and fourth chapters analyze materials from archives. They present a lot of very concrete examples of repatriation process (lack of housing, problems with citizenship, unemployment). Abstract:
This master's thesis deals with the identification and the analysis of the changes in society which lead to questioning the basic principles of human rights from the point of view of Czech non-profit organisations. In this study, it is important to divide the definition of human rights into their legal aspect, i.e. as rights of people, and their institutional aspect, i.e. as the moral imperative of equality and liberty. The latter is the main objective of this study, and is in this thesis labelled as the human rights. While the legal aspect of human rights is hard to change and to challenge, the institution of human rights is confronted by both the politics and the public. Because of their unique position between the political and the public spheres, non-profit organisations who advocate the human rights were chosen as the research sample. The dimensions of the researched phenomenon are divided into decreasing political influence of countries promoting the human rights, and increasing distrust in the legitimacy of the human rights. Findings from the research uncover the unequal intensity of the potential reasons of the changing attitudes towards the institution of human rights, and we can identify the political sphere as the creator of the boundaries in which the public reacts. Abstract:
The presented diploma thesis focuses on the identification of gender-based specifics in health care, specifically in the management of a health care institution as a caring institution. In the theoretical part, we defined feminism and feminist views, the concept of gender, medicine as a feminized environment, the legislative definition of work in health care in terms of management and, finally, stereotypes were defined. In the conducted qualitative research, we used unstructured interviews with health professionals (nurses and doctors) from the Czech and Slovak Republics, and we examined the gender-based specifics in health care. Research has shown that gender specificities in health care are emerging, in the areas of division of labor, impacts on job choices, equality and inequality, occupation of position and in provision of care. At the end of the thesis I presented recommendations for the use of management tools as a source of overcoming barriers to equality in the context of a caring institution. Abstract:
Kapitola Ľubice Voľanskej Organizačná antropológia ako metóda pri výskume nehmotného kultúrneho dedičstva? sa venuje otázke, či je antropológia organizácií viac ako metóda, alebo skôr ide o využitie etnografie v rámci výskumu organizácií, ktorá zažíva boom v posledných rokoch. V organizáciách rovnako existujú skupiny, ktoré si vytvárajú vlastnú kultúru, tá je však podobná kultúram väčšieho celku, ktorého sú súčasťou (v prípade firmy súčasťou firemnej kultúry) a jej význam môže v niektorých situáciách prevažovať nad inými charakteristikami jednotlivých členov či skupín. Aplikovaný prístup sa sústredí na možné riešenia zistených problémov súvisiacich najmä s komunikáciou medzi jednotlivými skupinami. Vo svojej kapitole Voľanská rozoberá rôzne výzvy, ktoré výskum v organizáciách prináša pre bádateľov a bádateľky: okrem vzťahov medzi členmi organizácie samotnými a ich okolím ide aj o ich expertné postavenie v danej oblasti, synchrónnosť udalostí odohrávajúcich sa v organizácii na rôznych miestach a v neposlednom rade aj o vzťahy medzi výskumníkmi či výskumníčkami a ich partnermi a partnerkami vo výskume. Výziev a špecifík je, pochopiteľne, viac, napríklad aj ideologické alebo finančné záujmy organizácií súvisiace s ochranou zdrojov a konkurenciou medzi organizáciami, ktoré musia bádatelia v teréne rovnako rešpektovať. Kapitola sa navyše zamýšľa nad tým, ako výskum organizácie či inštitúcie môže prispieť k diskusii o tradičnej ľudovej kultúre či nehmotnom kultúrnom dedičstve ako predmete etnologického bádania. Chápanie toho, čo patrí a čo nepatrí do oblasti nehmotného kultúrneho dedičstva, je totiž podmienené lokálnymi tradíciami vedeckého i spoločenského nazerania na problematiku a rovnako podlieha vývoju. Svoj výskum preto Voľanská vníma ako príspevok k diskusii o charaktere nazerania na nehmotné kultúrne dedičstvo na Slovensku a k snahe rozšíriť jeho chápanie v súvislosti s moderným obsahom termínu. Vo svojej kapitole totiž, využívajúc prístupy antropológie organizácií, analyzuje Národný žrebčín v Topoľčiankach ako sociálny priestor, v ktorom po niekoľko generácií prebieha medzigeneračná transmisia chovateľských, športových i výcvikových praktík, ale i od chovu neoddeliteľných prvkov agrárnej kultúry. Sociálny priestor žrebčína ponúka zároveň možnosti výskumu verbálnych prejavov, interpretačného umenia, zvykov a rituálov či tradičného remesla.

Abstract:
In the 21st century, knowledge is becoming the main source of competitiveness for private sector actors, but also the main source of territorial competitiveness of regions. The development of counseling centers and counseling services is becoming a tool of public support for the productivity of actors in the regional economy, and at the same time a significant localization factor of allocation of technologically intensive firms. The aim of the paper is to evaluate the state of development of counseling for business in the conditions of Slovakia, to describe the services that counseling provides and specify the knowledge that disseminates in space, with regard to evaluating the sources of knowledge used by counseling centers for their own activities. Based on a comparison of the results, we segmented these institutions according to the framework of services provided and activities implemented.
