Low-voltage power line carrier (PLC) communication has received wide attention. However, testing standards are not well defined for PLC communication yet, and there are no professional, systematic and comprehensive detection indicators to measure and evaluate the quality of PLC communication. This paper proposed a low-voltage power line carrier communication evaluation system based on Virtual Instrument (VI). Simulation results revealed that the proposed system could precisely reflect the quality of the PLC communication.

The Wirewalker is tolerant of a broad range of payloads: the ballast is adjusted by adding discrete foam blocks. Evaluation of the ability of capsule polysaccharides (CP) of Streptococcus pneumoniae serotype 3 and 14 and their synthetic structure analogues, conjugated with bovine serum albumin (BSA), to detect antibodies in post-vaccination sera of mice. Materials and methods. Oligosaccharides corresponding to one, one and a half and two repeating links of serotype 3 and 14 S. pneumoniae CP were synthesized, their conjugates with BSA were produced by squarate method as well. Ligand content per BSA molecule was controlled by MALDI-TOF spectrometry. Immune sera were obtained after 2 intraperi-toneal a

The marketing instrument of corporate communication, the customer magazine, is presented as a network of texts, subtexts and text types, and reflected against the background of intertextuality research. The customer magazine has a high intertextual potential as a carrier of texts of various journalistic genres. It is a modern marketing print medium, which, if linked with digital applications, acquires a new materiality. The surrounding of a comprehensive semiotic network refers to a further intertextual dimension of the medium.

A virtual instrumentation system for stator turn-to-turn winding-fault detection is presented in this paper. The system can be adopted for industry and academy as a useful tool to prevent unexpected downtime or severe damage to induction motors. The high-frequency carrier-signal injection technique is used to obtain information on machine stator winding. Measurements of the resulting negative-sequence current are used to detect turn-to-turn faults. Since the stator windings are fixed in space, a turn-to-turn fault gives rise to a stationary saliency which appears as a DC component in the spect

Gyro difficult to eliminate the error, results in strapdown inertial navigation system precision decrease with time. Star sensor is a high-precision attitude measuring instrument and don’t require any priori information, the attitude date can be provided by star sensor. Thus, gyro is simulated by star sensor in order to improve the precision of strapdown inertial navigation system.

Background: The apolipoprotein E ɛ4 (APOE ɛ4) genotype is the major genetic risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease (AD). However, its effect on an individual’s response to treatment is less well understood. Many studies have reported that the presence or absence of APOE ɛ4 may have influence on the therapeutic response for acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (AChEIs), but the results were inconsistent. This study performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the association between response of treatment with AChEIs and the APOE ɛ4 carrier status. Radars are used to retrieve physical parameters related to clouds and fog. With these measurements, models can be developed for several application fields such as climate, agriculture, aviation, energy, and astronomy. In Chile, coastal fog and low marine stratus intersect the coastal topography, forming a thick fog essential to sustain coastal ecosystems. This phenomenon motivates the development of cloud radars to boost scientific research. In this article, we present the design of a Ka-band cloud radar and the experiments that prove its operation. Therefore, a tactile instrument has been developed with the aim of enlarging the sensing area at the tool tip once it enters the abdominal cavity through the trocar.
