Digitale teknologiers kulturkraft i daginstitutionen undersøger den kulturelle produktion og reproduktion i daginstitutionen og inkluderer teknologier som en aktiv kulturel aktør. De empiriske data, der ligger til grund for analysen, stammer fra et praksisnært forsknings- og udviklingsprojekt initieret i 2014 af Ministeriet for Børn, Ligestilling, Integration og Sociale Forhold. Formålet med artiklen er at bidrage til en brugsbaseret forståelse af praksis med digitale teknologier i daginstitutionen. Analysen af de empiriske data viser børn, der omformer teknologierne til brug for leg og humor i børnefællesskabet. Når børn og pædagoger deltager i den samme aktivitet med digitale teknologier, er der en tendens til, at pædagogernes kultur og tolkning af teknologierne dominerer aktiviteten. Pædagogerne har en faglighed, der forstår værdierne i børnefællesskaberne, men deres teknologiforståelse er overvejende instrumentel. Dette skygger for en aktiv teknologiforståelse og for professionelle analyser af teknologiernes kulturkraft – både i relation til hverdagslivet i institutionen og i relation til de samfundsmæssige kampe i barnefeltet om vægtningen mellem børns leg og en læringsdagsorden. AbstractDigital technology as a cultural force in the day-care institution investigates the culture production and reproduction in the institution while including technology as an active cultural actor. The empirical data used in the analysis stem from a practice-oriented research and development project initiated by the Ministry for Children and Social Affairs in 2014. The aim of this article is to contribute to a user-oriented understanding of practices involving digital technologies in the day-care institution. Analysis of the empirical data shows children using and transforming digital technologies for the purposes of play and humor in the child community. When children and pedagogues are engaging in the same activity, there is a tendency that the culture of the pedagogues and their perception of the technologies dominate the setting. The pedagogues do have a professional comprehension of the values in the community of the children, but their comprehension of the digital technologies are predominantly instrumental. This prevents an active technology comprehension and a professional analysis of the cultural role of the technologies – in the actual day-care setting as well as in relation to the general societal struggles in the day-care field between emphasizing children’s play or the agenda of learning.

Abstract:
Instrumental element analysis has developed enormously during the past decades. It has rightfully assumed a major role in the analytical laboratory in the field of materials science, environmental analysis, monitoring and research. Due to its high accuracy, classical chemical analysis is still most useful for elemental determinations at major levels and for special applications. In a modem inorganic analytical laboratory, a variety of different instmmental techniques is employed for qualitative and quantitative analysis, covering practically all the elements of the periodic system in a variety of different matrices, from major to trace and ultratrace mass levels. The prerequisite for atomic spectroscopy is the step of excitation, normally in combination with a process of atomization. From a number of different atomization processes currently used, inductively coupled plasma (ICP) is now the most prominent. The atomic spectrometric methods commonly employed in an analytical laboratory are described. These include atomic absorption, both with flame and graphite furnace, ICP atomic emission and ICP mass spectrometry, X-ray fluorescence together with ion chromatography as a non-spectrometric analytical process. The different instrumental techniques are critically compared in relation to number of detectable elements and species, limits of detection, precision, sample throughput, dynamic concentration range, degree of automation, and cost of equipment. Moreover, the importance of sampling and sample treatment prior to the analytical determination, quality assurance, and mode of automation are related both to the present situation and future trends in instrumental element analysis.

The achievement motive of midlevel managers was studied within the framework of the the theoretical facet model of Elizur for achievement motive by applying the Achievement Motive Questionnaire of Elizur on 118 midlevel managers. The results of the smallest space analysis technique indicated that the managers possessed a clear time perspective and that they could clearly differentiate between the challenge to confront themselves in the problem situation and to find a solution for the problem situation. The instrumental orientation of the managers took a central place, and it was also possible to distinguish clearly between the cognitive and affective behaviour orientation. Opsomming Die prestasiemotivering van middelvlakbestuurders is binne die raamwerk van die teoretiese fasetmodel van Elizur vir prestasiemotivering ondersoek deur die Prestasiemotiveringvraelys van Elizur op 118 middelvlakbestuurders toe te pas. Die resultate van die kleinste ruimtelike ontledingstegniek dui daarop dat die bestuurders 'n duidelike tydsperspektief besit en dat hulle duidelik kon onderskei tussen die uitdaging om hulle self in die probleemsituasie te konfronteer en om 'n oplossing vir die probleemsituasie te vind. Die bestuurders se instrumentele oriëntasie het sentraal gelê en daar kon ook tussen die kognitiewe en affektiewe oriëntasies duidelik onderskei word.
