Abstract:
A new approach is presented for the numerical evaluation of arbitrary singular domain integrals. In this method, singular domain integrals are transformed into a boundary integral and a radial integral which contains singularities by using the radial integration method. The analytical elimination of singularities condensed in the radial integral formulas can be accomplished by expressing the nonsingular part of the integration kernels as a series of cubic B-spline basis functions of the distancerand using the intrinsic features of the radial integral. In the proposed method, singularities involved in the domain integrals are explicitly transformed to the boundary integrals, so no singularities exist at internal points. A few numerical examples are provided to verify the correctness and robustness of the presented method.

Abstract:
This paper is dedicated to the integrals and integral transformations related to the probability density function of the vector Gaussian distribution and arising in probability applications. Herein, we present three integrals that permit to calculate the moments of the multivariate Gaussian distribution. Moreover, the total probability formula and Bayes formula for the vector Gaussian distribution are given. The obtained results are proven. The deduction of the integrals is performed on the basis of the Gauss elimination method. The total probability formula and Bayes formula are obtained on the basis of the proven integrals. These integrals and integral transformations could be used, for example, in the statistical decision theory, particularly, in the dual control theory, and as table integrals in various areas of research. On the basis of the obtained results, Bayesian estimations of the coefficients of the multiple regression function are calculated.

Abstract:
A complex variable is a quantity that contains both a real part and an imaginary part. Complex analysis is an application of mathematics that analyses the features of functions of complex variables. Physics, engineering, and computer science are just a few of the scientific disciplines that benefit from complex analysis. In order to tackle issues that are challenging or impossible to resolve using only real variables, complex analysis is crucial. ( Chanyu Xie، 2024) This research provides a definition of the most important theories in complex analysis, which is called the residue theory، which has many applications and uses in calculating path integrals because the residue theory can only be applied to path integrals, and therefore the real integral must be converted to a complex integral so that we can benefit from the theory. The residue theorem can be applied to many-connected curves as well as to an infinite number of isolated anomalous points, It can also be applied to the defective integral ، as it is called the Cauchy basis value، provided that the limit is on the right side of the integer . As well as the irregular integrals involving trigonometric functions, the residue theory is useful in calculating these integrals in the form , the defective integral is in the form where two real polynomials do not have common factors and do not have real zeros. The value of the integral can be easily calculated by finding the basic Cauchy value of the integral using the residue theorem. And the integrals of multi-valued functions when using the residue theorem، we must choose a region within which the integration function is single-valued، and also apply the residue theorem to calculate real integrals that include bifurcation points and secant branches and are in the form ، and this integration is of special importance in studying a function Gamma. I recommend completing this research to reach new applications of this theory due to its importance in the fields of mathematics and other sciences, as well as studying its applications to semi-analytical functions. Key words: The Residue Theorem, Defective real integrals, Complex variable, Cauchy basis value, Lorant's Series.

Abstract:
CETO functions and their properties are defined and described, to provide a means of obtaining general expressions for many-center many-electron integral formulae. Compact integral expressions are written by means of nested summation symbols, a new concept developed in this paper. Integrals over CETO functions are computed by means of a set of several auxiliary integral forms. No transformations other than frame rotations are needed to compute the usual integral terms. The formulae obtained are immediately programmable in any high level language and the parallelizable terms are obtained with a simple rule. Results can be considered an encouraging alternative way to solve the STO integral problem. Keywords: many-center AO integrals, molecular basis sets, ETO, STO, CETO.

Abstract:
The main purpose of this thesis is to prove that the cyclotomic Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras of type A over Z are free by giving a graded cellular basis of the cyclotomic KLR algebra. We then extend it to obtain a graded cellular basis of the affine KLR algebra, which indicates that the affine KLR algebra is an affine graded cellular algebra. Finally we work with the Jucys-Murphy elements of the cyclotomic Hecke algebras of type A and proved a periodic property of these elements.

Abstract:
This thesis describes theory and algorithms for use with Radial Basis Functions (RBFs), emphasising techniques motivated by three particular application areas. In Part I, we apply RBFs to the problem of interpolating to integral data. While the potential of using RBFs for this purpose has been established in an abstract theoretical context, their use has been lacking an easy to check sufficient condition for finding appropriate parent basic functions, and explicit methods for deriving integral basic functions from them. We present both these components here, as well as explicit formulations for line segments in two dimensions and balls in three and five dimensions. We also apply these results to real-world track data. In Part II, we apply Hermite and pointwise RBFs to the problem of surface reconstruction. RBFs are used for this purpose by representing the surface implicitly as the zero level set of a function in 3D space. We develop a multilevel piecewise technique based on scattered spherical subdomains, which requires the creation of algorithms for constructing sphere coverings with desirable properties and for blending smoothly between levels. The surface reconstruction method we develop scales very well to large datasets and is very amenable to parallelisation, while retaining global-approximation-like features such as hole filling. Our serial implementation can build an implicit surface representation which interpolates at over 42 million points in around 45 minutes. In Part III, we apply RBFs to the problem of animation control in the area of motion synthesis---controlling an animated character whose motion is entirely the result of simulated physics. While the simulation is quite well understood, controlling the character by means of forces produced by virtual actuators or muscles remains a very difficult challenge. Here, we investigate the possibility of speeding up the optimisation process underlying most animation control methods by approximating the physics simulator with RBFs.

Abstract:
The electric field integral equation (EFIE) and the combined field integral equation(CFIE) suffer from the dense-discretization and the low-frequency breakdown: if the average edgelength of the mesh is reduced, or if the frequency is decreased, then the condition number of the system matrix grows. This leads to slowly or non-converging iterative solvers. This dissertation presents new paradigms for rapidly converging integral equation solvers: to overcome the illconditioning, we advance and extend the state of the art both in hierarchical basis and in Calderón preconditioning techniques. For the EFIE, we introduce a hierarchical basis for structured and unstructured meshes based on generalized primal and dual Haar prewavelets. Furthermore, a framework is introduced which renders the hierarchical basis able to efficiently precondition the EFIE in the case that the scatterer is multiply connected. The applicability of hierarchical basis preconditioners to the CFIE is analyzed and an efficient preconditioning scheme is derived. In addition, we present a refinement-free Calderón multiplicative preconditioner (RF-CMP) that yields a system matrix which is Hermitian, positive definite (HPD), and well-conditioned. Different from existing Calderón preconditioners, no dual basis functions and thus no refinement of the mesh is required. Since the matrix is HPD—in contrast to standard discretizations of the EFIE—we can apply the conjugate gradient (CG) method as iterative solver, which guarantees convergence. Eventually, the RF-CMP is extended to the CFIE

Abstract:
The electron affinity (EA) is an important property of atoms and molecules defined as the energy difference between the neutral species and its negative ion. Since the EA is a very small fraction of the total electronic energy of anionic and neutral species, one must determine these energies with high accuracy. The recipe used to calculate accurate atomic and molecular EAs is based on the choice of an adequate basis set and the use of high level of electron correlation calculations. In the computation of EAs, the same basis set is used to describe both neutral and negatively charged species. In general, the basis sets designed to describe anionic properties have their exponents optimized in neutral environment, and its diffuseness is acquired through the addition of diffuse functions for each angular momentum. The main idea of this work is to develop basis sets optimized exclusively in anionic environment that would be applied in accurate calculations of electron affinity. Thus, here follows the chosen atoms to be studied: B, C, O and F. The basis sets were generated by the Generator Coordinate Hartree-Fock Method through the Polynomial Integral Discretization Method. Basis sets were obtained containing (18s13p) primitives that were contracted to [7s6p] via Raffenetti\'s general contraction scheme. The contracted basis sets were polarized to 4d3f2g and 4d3f2g1h, and the exponents of polarization were optimized in a CISD environment through the Simplex algorithm. The basis sets quality was evaluated through the calculation of the electron affinities. The results were compared to those obtained by using the aug-cc-pVQZ and aug-cc-pV5Z basis-sets. The calculation showed that our diffuse basis sets reproduce satisfactorily the electron affinities when compared to the experimental data. The diffuse basis sets polarized to 4d3f2g1h showed to be more efficient than the aug-cc-pVQZ basis sets and in some cases also better than the aug-cc-pV5Z basis sets that are considerably larger.

Abstract:
Nearly all science and technology research in Brazil is conducted within a national system of graduate education. Since the 1970s, a graduate program assessment has been an integral part of such a system, and it is currently held on a quadrennial basis. The evaluation model is dynamic, evolving from the experiences of evaluators, policymakers, and the scientific community during each four-year cycle. This study analyses policy initiatives from the 2017-2021 evolving effort, focusing on strategies and recommendations to implement multidimensionality and self-evaluation as integral components of Brazilian evaluation. The paper traces how the idea for a multidimensional assessment was introduced in the country and how U-Multirank, an international ranking of higher education institutions (HEI), has come to inspire an evaluation that is not institutional but of graduate programs instead. The study identified some benefits and limitations of the chosen inspiration and analysed how the Brazilian proposal aligned with the U-Multirank principles. Furthermore, the investigation shows there is little concrete difference from the proposed new model to the one Brazil has already in place. Finally, the last section of this study looks into the once pivotal idea to pursue a self-evaluation component, now relegated to a minor role in the model, but that could be raised to a position supporting the design of an actual multidimensional assessment model.

Abstract:
Tree species are characterized by their perennial growth habit, woody morphology, long juvenile period phase, mostly outcrossing behaviour, highly heterozygosity genetic makeup, and relatively high genetic diversity. The economically important trees have been an integral part of the human life system due to their provision of timber, fruit, fodder, and medicinal and/or health benefits. Despite its widespread application in agriculture, industrial and medicinal values, the molecular aspects of key economic traits of many tree species remain largely unexplored. Over the past two decades, research on forest tree genomics has generally lagged behind that of other agronomic crops. Genomic research on trees is motivated by the need to support genetic improvement programmes mostly for food trees and timber, and develop diagnostic tools to assist in recommendation for optimum conservation, restoration and management of natural populations. Research on long-lived woody perennials is extending our molecular knowledge and understanding of complex life histories and adaptations to the environment, enriching a field that has traditionally drawn its biological inference from a few short-lived herbaceous species. These concerns have fostered research aimed at deciphering the genomic basis of complex traits that are related to the adaptive value of trees. This review summarizes the highlights of tree genomics and offers some priorities for accelerating progress in the next decade.

Abstract:

Abstract:
This article demonstrates that mathematics in the system of higher education has outgrown the status of the general education subject and should become an integral part of the professional training of future bachelors, including economists, on the basis of intersubject connection with special subjects. Such aspects as the importance of improving the scientific and methodological support of mathematical training of students by means of digital technologies are revealed. It is specified that in order to implement the task of qualified training of students learning econometrics and economic and mathematical modeling, it is necessary to use digital technologies in two directions: for the organization of electronic educational space and in the process of solving applied problems at the junction of the branches of economics and mathematics. The advantages of using e-learning courses in the educational process are presented (such as providing individualization of the educational process in accordance with the needs, characteristics and capabilities of students; improving the quality and efficiency of the educational process; ensuring systematic monitoring of the educational quality). The unified structures of “Econometrics”, “Economic and mathematical modeling” based on the Moodle platform are the following ones. The article presents the results of the pedagogical experiment on the attitude of students to the use of e-learning course (ELC) in the educational process of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and Alfred Nobel University (Dnipro city). We found that the following metrics need improvement: availability of time-appropriate mathematical materials; individual approach in training; students’ self-expression and the development of their creativity in the e-learning process. The following opportunities are brought to light the possibilities of digital technologies for the construction and research of econometric models (based on the problem of dependence of the level of the Ukrainian population employment). Various stages of building and testing of the econometric model are characterized: identification of variables, specification of the model, parameterization and verification of the statistical significance of the obtained results.

Abstract:
This paper is part of series on self-contained papers in which a large part, if not the full extent, of the asymptotic limit theory of summands of independent random variables is exposed. Each paper of the series may be taken as review exposition but specially as a complete exposition expect a few exterior resources. For graduate students and for researchers (beginners or advanced), any paper of the series should be considered as a basis for constructing new results. The contents are taken from advanced books but the organization and the proofs use more recent tools, are given in more details and do not systematically follow previous one. Sometimes, theorems are completed and innovated

Kokurina, Olga Yu. STATE SOVEREIGNTY AND PUBLIC RESPONSIBILITY OF GOVERNMENT IN THE LIGHT OF A SYSTEMIC-ORGANIC APPROACH: INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH. SIB-Expertise, 2023. http://dx.doi.org/10.12731/er0755.18122023.

Full text
Abstract:
This electronic resource contains a critical summary of the problems of sovereign statehood and the responsibility of public authority in the light of an interdisciplinary systemic organic approach. The author reveals the essence and content of the categories “sovereign statehood” and “responsibility of public authority” as key factors of the state legal system for ensuring the life of the Russian Federation in the conditions of the emergence of a new world order. It is shown that the multi-valued category of “statehood” (statehood, stateness, nationhood, nationness) reflects the complexity of the concept, which characterizes the status and ability of the state to carry out its functions, and on the other hand, reflects the cultural-historical and spiritual-ideological unity of society, which is the deepest internal semantic content both preceding the state and completing its sociohistorical formation in the course of state development and historical transformations. Based on the systemic-organic approach and within the framework of the structure of the Aristotelian tetrad, the author reveals an integral model of the political and legal phenomenon of “statehood”, in which the final cause (ethion) is determined by “sovereign statehood”, which presupposes unity, integrity, actual autonomy, independence, independence and self-sufficiency states in making decisions that ensure the historical existence and development of the country. The work presents a theoretical understanding of social (public) solidarity as a legal construct and instrument of social harmony and integrity of the state-legal body of the Russian Federation. It is shown that public solidarity, as a constitutional and administrative-legal phenomenon in its positive and negative forms, creates the necessary basis for the implementation of the principle of mutual responsibility of the individual, society and state. An idea of the responsibilities of the state, its bodies and officials to the individual and society is given, the role and place of public legal responsibility of holders of power in the solidary social mechanism is outlined. In general, the results of interdisciplinary research are aimed at identifying key factors in social theory and practice that contribute to the acquisition of true independence and self-sufficiency of Russian statehood and the preservation of the civilizational foundations of a multinational Russian society. The manual will be useful to undergraduate and graduate students studying social and political sciences, and anyone interested in the theory and practice of government.
