Integrated rice–shrimp ponds (IRSPs) are common in areas of southeast Asia where saltwater intrudes into rice fields in the dry season, leading to rice planting in the wet season, and shrimp farming in the dry season or throughout the year. The rotation of rice with shrimp in this system is thought to increase environmental sustainability and contribute to food security. Nevertheless, the productivity of IRSPs is generally low and unreliable, and technical solutions do not address the impacts of climate change. We can explore latent intension and get more worthy insight from monitoring data by using multivariate methods. This study used groundwater quality of Kinmen Island, water quality of Tamsui River, and sediment quality of Erjen River as case studies to comprehend the characteristics of water and sediment quality monitoring data by applying multivariate methods. These studies could find out the core issues to the water and sediment quality from the comprehended char

Abstract:
The aim of the research was to ascertain whether the locally predominant seagrass species, Zostera muelleri, could be a potential TE bioindicator. This is was achieved by conducting two multi-factor laboratory Cu and environmental experiments and spatial and temporal field assessments. Results has shown that the seagrasses life cycle and the part of the seagrass analysed can influence the metal concentrations, which is important for interpretation of results.
