Kant’s critical theory on moral feeling can be divided into two stages: early and late. In the early stage, Kant was committed to accepting and transforming the traditional concept of moral feeling, while in the later stage he turned to developing his own unique theory on the topic. His beliefs about moral feeling changed between these two stages, both regarding the basic meaning of moral feeling (from intuitive empirical feelings to a priori feelings based on rationality) and the function of moral feeling in moral philosophy (from the basis of moral law to the motivation of moral act

My aim is to revisit the psycholinguistic concept of “formal logical feeling” (logisches Formalgefühl), as it was elaborated by the Austrian philosopher Heinrich Gomperz in the early 20th century. This article is the continuation of some recent studies that have helped to reevaluate the place of “formal feeling” or “form-feeling” in language sciences. By “formal logical feelings”, Gomperz referred to affective processes by which means one apprehends the “form” of language, that is, its morphosyntactic properties. The problems of happiness in the theological and philosophical heritage of the outstanding medieval scientist St. Thomas Aquinas are considered. The main source and basis of happiness according to Thomism is the Lord God himself. Happiness cannot be fully comprehended in the material world, in wealth, in intellectual knowledge. Human happiness does not consist in honors, in human glory, strength, goodness and pleasures of the body. Happiness is realized in human virtue. Happiness does not consist in human feelings, but it is revealed in thoughts about God. Man will experience perfect happiness
