<p>With the continuous development of science and technology, although artificial intelligence has become the norm, if artificial intelligence science and technology are applied to mobile communications, it will be a huge technological leap. Some companies use artificial intelligence to analyze their faults and early warnings, so that they can effectively communicate between communications. This kind of contact method mainly relies on the analysis of personnel, and finds out the cause of the fault through network positioning, so as to realize the connection between the networks and the early warning of the communication network. By building system equipment to realize remote operation and control support communication, communication can be effectively realized.</p>

Abstract:
Abstract In popular science and technology writing, “boosterism” is prominent. Writers overwhelmingly describe science and technology in enthusiastic terms, thereby promoting the deficit or Public Appreciation of Science and Technology model (PAST). A crucial aspect of the PAST model is its pro-innovation bias: writers enroll chaperones in the texts, such as spokespersons, users, celebrities, witnesses, experts, and authorities, to support their claims. Both “boosterism” and pro-innovation bias constrain the public’s critical understanding of science and technology. This study includes a detailed exploration of pro-innovation bias in the popularization of the Internet in the Norwegian press and how journalists use chaperones to support their claims. The author demonstrates that, in popularizing the Internet, pro-innovation bias manifests several other biases, such as individual-praise, pro-technology, individual-blame, technology-blame, and source biases.

Abstract:
As robot technology is disseminated from special fields such as factory production to everyday fields such as home use, community work, and entertainment, working space of robots also expands from dedicated area such as factory sites to ordinary living space. Combining this technology shift and the popularized public Internet suggests the emergence of new robot applications. The Internet, however, as its nature, is not suitable for tight coupling of processes among robots and computers. An approach different from simple expansion of current robot communication technology is thus necessary. After discussing the essentials of communication, i.e., closed and open networks, and tight and loose couplings of processes, we propose combining Web Services technology and autonomous robot technology. We present several cases to examine this approach. The applicability of Web Services to robot communication is confirmed through implementation. Feasible applications are studied using application instances combining autonomous robots with the Internet. Feasibility is also examined from Web Services technology point of view.

This paper presents work being done at NASA/GSFC by the Operating Missions as Nodes on the Internet (OMNI) project to demonstrate the application of Internet communication technologies to space communication. The goal is to provide global addressability and standard network protocols and applications for future space missions. It describes the communication architecture and operations concepts that will be deployed and tested on a Space Shuttle flight in July 2002. This is a NASA Hitchhiker mission called Communication and Navigation Demonstration On Shuttle (CANDOS). The mission will be using a small programmable transceiver mounted in the Shuttle bay that can communicate through NASA’s ground tracking stations as well as NASA’s space relay satellite system. The transceiver includes a processor running the Linux operating system and a standard synchronous serial interface that supports the High-level Data Link Control (HDLC) framing protocol. One of the main goals will be to test the operation of the Mobile IP protocol (RFC 2002) for automatic routing of data as the Shuttle passes from one contact to another. Other protocols to be utilized onboard CANDOS include secure login (SSH), UDP-based reliable file transfer (MDP), and blind commanding using UDP. The paper describes how each of these standard protocols available in the Linux operating system can be used to support communication with a space vehicle. It will discuss how each protocol is suited to support the range of special communication needs of space missions.

Very little research has been conducted to understand how the technology revolution has changed and impacted couple relationships. The proposed study examined the impact of technology on couples in committed relationships through the lens of the couple and technology framework. Specifically, this study used data from 2,826 European couples to examine associations between online boundary crossing, online intrusion, relationship satisfaction, and partner responsiveness. The results suggest that when participants’ reported that their partner checked up on their online activities more frequently that this was linked with lower scores on relationship satisfaction and partner responsiveness. Also, decreased scores for relationship satisfaction and partner responsiveness were associated with increased acceptance for their partner using the Internet to talk with someone attractive about everyday life or pop culture, personal information, and relationship troubles or concerns. Lastly, the results suggest that men, but not women, who reported greater acceptability for online boundary crossing were more likely to have partners who reported lower relationship satisfaction in their relationships. Implications for clinicians, relationship educators, and researchers are discussed.

Abstract:
Television is moving towards Internet-based services with an increasing popularity of online streaming and connected TV sets. However, the lean-back viewing experience is often forgotten in the design of such services – traditional broadcasted television is still the source for relaxed entertainment in the living room. In this study, a concept of a new TV service is proposed. The aim is to create a solution where the qualities in traditional television are preserved in an online environment. The decisions that were taken when shaping this concept are based on a literature study, a market analysis, a design workshop and expert interviews. The main results are that the interfaces of today’s Internet-based TV services require too much interaction and decision-making, and that TV channels should be redefined and take more advantage from the independence of a fixed broadcasted source.

Full text
Abstract:

Proxies, software deployed inside the network, play a fundamental role in the Internet by providing enhanced functionality to the network. Deployment of proxies is a flexible way of extending the Internet architecture with new services and to cope with problems that were not foreseen at the time the original Internet protocols were defined. The creation of the Internet is an enormous investment in time, effort and money, and proxies allow us to build on the existing infrastructure to enhance its functionality, rather than replace it.

As the use of proxies increase, so does the problem of proxy configuration and deployment, especially with respect to interference between different proxies. With a limited number of different proxies, this problem can be dealt with manually, or by encoding knowledge of interfering proxies into each proxy. As the number of proxies grow, methods to automatically detect and cope with conflicts must be devised.

Therefore, proxies need to coordinate with each other. Towards this end, a signalling protocol that can be used to establish and configure a sequence of one or more proxies along an end-to-end flow is proposed. The protocol is realized as an extension of IP, using an IP option, which simplifies its deployment in the Internet.

In order to facilitate reasoning about coordination, conflicts and deployment of proxies, a model has been developed. The model is based on the concept of regions, also developed in the thesis. Regions are interconnected parts of the network that share a common property, e.g. administrative control or error characteristic. Along with the model, a classification of proxy architectures with respect to how they gather information and deploy proxies is presented. A method based on this model is also proposed.

We also propose an algorithm for controlling compression to maximize perceived throughput in situations where available bandwidth and CPU power varies. Along with the algorithm, experimental results that show that the algorithm approximates the best non-adaptive choice in a number of situations are presented. This algorithm has been implemented as an end-to-end enhancement.

Abstract:
This study aimed to explore adolescents perceptions of how their use of information and communication technologies may impact on the quality of the parent-adolescent relationship. Obtaining information from adolescents on how they experience their parents interaction with them when they engage with theses technologies, can provide insight into adolescents perceptions of whether information and communication technologies impact on this relationship. This research therefore aimed to explore the way that parents interact with their adolescents on their use of the Internet, gaming activities, or regulating their use of a cell phone, and how this is perceived by adolescents.

Abstract:
This thesis examines the problems of how to design scalable, robust, and distributed real-time media applications for the Internet. An agent based framework for solving this problem is presented. The framework promotes several important design requirements such as modularity and reusability of software modules, remote management of applications, adaptiveness, robustness, accessibility, symmetry and the most important scalability. The issue of scalability is examined on several levels including data-distribution, different end-user platforms, scalability of real-time media flows, bandwidth adaption and scalability of sessions. The design of the framework is based on the important concept of IP-multicast, which allows for scalable distribution of data on the Internet. How this decision has influenced the design of the framework is examined in the thesis. The design of the framework have been verified by building a reference implementation in Java and building a number of high-level end-user applications for real-time e-meetings, e-learning (net-based learning) and social awareness via the e-corridor.

Abstract:
Information and communication technology has opened up both challenges and opportunities for the process of communication. This is particularly true for communicating effectively and efficiently in the digital age, where unique problems of creation and distortion, especially misinformation and bias, can arise. In addition, the broad diffusion of a communication medium eventually prompts both the public and private sectors to establish mechanisms to regulate that medium under the rubric of the public interest. Sometimes this can happen through self-censorship on the part of the industry, while other times it requires the institution of governmental law and regulation. The emergence of the Internet as a mass communication system has raised questions about how this medium can function to benefit society, as well as concerns about its potential harm. Focusing on the nexus of the process of communication and the limitations and prospects of information technology, this panel explores some of the major concerns of the digital age from a legal and policy perspective. The topics to be covered through interactive discussion include: anonymous speech and cybersmearing; the nature of publication and misinformation; and Internet content filtering, freedom of speech, and intellectual property

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
Modern agricultural production and food trade are involved in the process of digital transformation, which is a cardinal factor of sustainable development and is carried out on the basis of IT platforms, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain technologies. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the dependence of these sectors of the economy on information and communication technology infrastructure and services. At the same time, the slow updating of legislation, which lags behind the constantly improving digital technologies, not only hinders their implementation, but also is a source of a number of social and legal problems. A modern regulatory framework based on digital strategies should strengthen "smart agriculture". In Russia, the legal mechanism of digital transformation and development of the national platform "Digital Agriculture" should be supported by updated basic legislation.
