<p>Bakgrund: Uppkomsten av Internet och introduktionen av Internettjänster som möjliggör aktiehandel har gjort det möjligt att handla med aktier på ett helt nytt sätt. Denna uppsats fokuserar på att utreda huruvida Internet och Internettjänster som möjliggör aktiehandel via Internet har påverkat aktiehandeln vid Stockholmsbörsen. Frågorna uppsatsen har besvarats med hjälp av litteratur samt med hjälp av intervjuer med ansvariga för aktiehandeln vid två av Sveriges största banker.</p><p>Problem: Hur har aktiehandeln på Stockholmsbörsen påverkats i och med att svenska folket fick tillgång till Internet och Internettjänster som möjliggör aktiehandeln?Vilka likheter och skillnader finns det mellan aktiehandel över Internet och annan Internetbaserad handel?</p><p>Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att utreda hur aktiehandeln vid Stockholmsbörsen har påverkats i och med att aktiehandeln har blivit förenklad och tillgänglig för alla i en större utsträckning genom tillgången till Internettjänster som möjliggör aktiehandel. Ett delsyfte är att testa förklaringsvärdet på modellen för Internethandel som appliceras på empirin i denna uppsats.</p><p>Resultat: Studien som har genomförts visar att Internettjänsterna inte direkt har lockat nya investerare att investera i aktier. Indirekt har Internet däremot en stor påverkat på aktiehandeln i och med dess rika informationsinnehåll. Konsumentbeteendemodellen som har använts i analysen har visat sig vara delvis applicerbar på aktiehandel via Internet. En omarbetning av den ursprungliga modellen har dock krävts för att modellen ska vara fullt applicerbar på denna typ av handel.</p>

In addition to the problems that may occur in the Internet, the people who test mobile internet services confront additional challenges due to the wireless environment. If something goes wrong, it is very problematic for a tester to determine exactly where the error occurred and the reason why it occurred. Is it the software in the telephone that does not work properly, is the GPRS link stable, is the core network of the Internet working as it should, or is there something wrong at the server? The staff at Sony Ericsson has major difficulties determining where the origin of a problem is. They often simply know that something is not working. The major effort is often to detect the source of the actual problem rather than solving it. The PlayNow service provided by Sony Ericsson will be used as a reference service in this master’s thesis project. The PlayNow service is currently used for distributing ring signals. It is built on Internet standards, but depends on GSM’s specific features both for distribution and for e-commerce which makes it hard to test using existing web test tools. This Master’s Thesis examines the difficulties in establishing robust IP traffic links between a server and a mobile telephone. It examines the entire communication path between the mobile telephone and the server, and focus on how to detect (potential) errors. Within this project, development of a test tool is included. It supports features necessary for testing the reference service PlayNow. This report covers many different technologies within the mobile internet such as GSM, GPRS, and mobile IP. Moreover, the normal infrastructure of the Internet will also be considered; as well as how the different parts interact in an environment consisting of a mobile Internet with GPRS. A major part of the project has been evaluation of the communication link between a mobile device and a server. Additionally, some efforts have focused on developing the new test tool.<br>Utöver de problem som kan uppstå på Internet, konfronteras testare av mobila tjänster av ytterligare utmaningar på grund av den trådlösa miljön. Går något fel kan det vara väldigt svårt att lokalisera var problemet har uppstått och anledningen till varför det uppkom. Är det mjukvaran i telefonen som inte fungerar, är GPRS anslutningen stabil, fungerar kommunikationen över Internet som det ska, eller är det något fel med applikationsservern? De anställda på Sony Ericsson har många gånger stora problem att definiera vad källan till ett problem är. Ofta vet de bara att något är fel. Den stora mödan är ofta att hitta källan till problemet snarare än att lösa det. Tjänsten PlayNow som tillhandahålls av Sony Ericsson är referenstjänst för detta arbete. För närvarande används PlayNow för distribuering av ringsignaler. Tjänsten bygger på Internetstandards, men är även beroende av GSM specifika delar för både distribution och e-handel, vilket gör det svårt att testa denna tjänst med vanliga testverktyg för webben. I detta examensarbete undersöks svårigheterna med att etablera robust IP trafik mellan en mobiltelefon och en server och fokuserar på hur potentiella fel kan upptäckas. Inom ramen för detta arbete har ett testverktyg utvecklats. Detta verktyg tillhandahåller funktionalitet för att testa referenstjänsten PlayNow. Denna rapport behandlar många olika teknologier inom mobilt Internet, såsom GSM, GPRS och Mobil IP. Utöver detta har den vanliga Internet teknologin behandlas. Så som de andra delarna som är inkluderade i mobilt Internet med GPRS. En större del av arbetet har varit utvärdering av kommunikationsvägen mellan klient och server. Utöver detta har en del ansträngning lagts på att utveckla det nya testverktyget. Denna rapport visar på de svårigheter i att hitta källan till ett problem i kommunikationsvägen, vilka kan vara mycket svåra att hitta. För att göra felsökning enklare har ett testverktyg utvecklats. Med hjälp av detta nyutvecklade testverktyg, många brister i konfigurationen av PlayNow servern har blivit upptäckta och tillrättade.

velocidad, como video por internet de Netflix o juegos en línea de consolas como Play
Station y Xbox. La oferta de internet actual no permite disfrutar al 100% estos servicios, ya
que la velocidad ofertada por las empresas actuales no es asegurada en los momentos de
mayor tráfico y el ancho de banda es compartido incluso hasta por 63 clientes.
Considerando, adicionalmente, que en un futuro próximo, todo tipo de comunicaciones en el
hogar se basará en la conectividad en internet y debido al crecimiento de las soluciones en la
nube y la tendencia a la automatización de todos los procesos mediante softwares
especializados, es cada vez más importante disponer de conexiones fiables y de gran
velocidad tanto en los hogares como en las empresas.
El objetivo es ofrecer un servicio de internet totalmente diferenciado, enfocándose en dos
pilares:
Internet de alta velocidad, por medio de una conexión de fibra óptica.
Con servidores de contenidos próximos a Chile que permiten disfrutar de una mejor
experiencia de navegación, tanto para usuarios particulares como para empresas.
La propuesta de valor estará enfocada en 2 tipos de clientes, con estrategias diferenciadas
para cada uno:
Comunidades existentes: edificios, condominios u otros, donde la diferenciación,
además de la velocidad, será por los contenidos próximos a Chile.
Empresas e Institucionales: La oferta es simple, conexión de alta velocidad y
disponibilidad de contenido a un buen precio. Adicionalmente, contenido próximo de
aplicaciones en la nube, HTTPS y actualización de software en general.
El modelo de negocios se basa en tercerizar todos los servicios de la operación:

La venta, desarrollo e implementación del producto y la coordinación de los servicios

The aim of this Masters Thesis is to propose to SYSteam Nät AB, a local Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Uppsala, Sweden, how to implement IP telephony in their existing ITinfrastructure as a service to their customers. Thus the perspective of the thesis will be that of a local Internet Service Provider. Three general areas are covered in the thesis: Market and Business Model, Technology, and Economics. Important issues for SYSteam Nät AB as an established local broadband Internet Service Provider are to both retain present customers and to attract new customers. Some believe that offering value added services such as IP telephony could do this. Implementation of IP telephony can be done in different ways to fulfil SYSteam Nät’s requirements. The analysis leads to a proposal of how SYSteam Nät could implement IP telephony. This involves many multi-faceted business, technical, and financial issues; each aspect is examined in this thesis.<br>Avsikten med detta examensarbete är att komma med ett förslag till SYSteam Nät AB, en lokal Internetleverantör i Uppsala, om hur de, som en service till sina kunder, kan implementera IP telefoni i sin existerande IT-infrastruktur. Detta betyder att jag behandlar frågeställningen med en Internetleverantörs perspektiv.Tre huvudområden behandlas i examensarbetet: Marknad och Affärsmodell, Teknik och Ekonomi. Som en etablerad lokal leverantör av Internet via bredband är det viktigt för SYSteam Nät AB att både behålla nuvarande kunder och att attrahera nya kunder. En del tror att man skulle kunna åstadkomma detta genom att erbjuda värdehöjande tjänster som IP telefoni. Implementering av IP telefoni, som svarar mot SYSteam Näts krav, kan utföras på olika sätt. The diploma thesis concerns in two aspects which are the description of internet users and internet media. I show the ways of measuring visits, which is closely related to the operation of web sites and especially its economic aspect, the advertisement. I specify the indicators in view. I concentrate really carefully on the amount of real users, which is one of the most important indices. I apply the usage of these indices to practical examples. I point to sociodemographic user's profile of particular portals and compare them with other chosen servers. Consequently I determine specific recommendations for the advertisement submitters in the term of targeting their campaign accurately. By using many-variable statistical methods, I try to find out suitable groups of internet users based on their relation to advertisement. I consequently describe these groups of people and determine again certain recommendations.

Thesis (S.M.)--Massachusetts Institute of Technology, School of Architecture and Planning, Program in Media Arts and Sciences, 2004.<br>Includes bibliographical references (p. 81-84).<br>The Internet is currently unsuitable for small devices because the assumptions behind its architecture for desktop and server computers do not scale down. Implementations and costs that apply to larger machines have a baseline that is still too high for small embedded objects that cost only a few dollars, thereby leaving many devices disenfranchised and in disconnected groups. Similar to computer network evolution where the Internet was used to bridge together heterogeneous computer systems, I present Internet 0 (I0) as a framework to bridge together heterogeneous devices via Internet Protocols--therefore in a manner that is compatible with designing globally large computer networks. I examine the seven following themes of Internet 0. No one of these themes are new, however it is unique to have them all present in one system: 1. bringing the Internet Protocol all the way to the device level to make devices full network citizens; 2. compiling standards and delayering network protocol stacks to make them computationally efficient enough to fit into embedded microprocessors; 3. allowing devices to talk to each other directly to remove the necessity of centralized servers and protocol converters; 4. advertising a device not only to the network world but also to the physical one to allow direct interactions between objects and objects and also objects and people; 5. slowing down networks to decrease network complexity and therefore simplify network access; 6. using the same modulation scheme across many different media so device designers can be free to choose their preferred hardware medium but not be isolated from devices that use another; and 7. pushing the engineering politics of open standards to inspire competition not in differing architectures, but<br>(cont.) in differing network services. Att studera hur försäkringsbranschen agerar, vilka strategier och mål de väletablerade bolagen har med sin verksamhet samt lyfta fram tankar kring effektivitet med Internet som medium i denna bransch finner författarna till detta arbete av stort intresse. </p><p>Syfte: Syftet med studien är att utreda faktorer som ska leda fram till en modell som försäkringsbolag bör ta hänsyn till i sina reklamsatsningar mot privatpersoner på Internet. Avgränsningar: Vi kommer att behandla reklam på Internet. Detta innefattar främst annonsering på Internet, men även företags hemsida. Undersökningen är begränsad till svenska försäkringsbolag som är representerade på Internet. Vi har valt att enbart behandla sakförsäkringar. </p><p>Genomförande: Vi har intervjuat Internet- och marknadsföringsansvariga på fem försäkringsbolag samt intervjuat fyra Internet- och mediakonsulter för att bredda perspektivet. Resultaten har vi sedan analyserat utifrån de teorier om tjänstemarknadsföring, Internet, relationsmarknadsföring, strategier och effektivitet som presenteras i referensramen. </p><p>Resultat: Vi har identifierat ett antal faktorer som försäkringsbolag bör ta hänsyn till i sina reklamsatsningar mot privatpersoner på Internet. Dessa faktorer har sammanställts i en implementeringsmodell. Utifrån modellen konstateras att försäkringsbolag bör ha en väl genomtänkt strategi och anpassad organisation innan reklamsatsningen på Internet äger rum. Vidare konstateras att fördelarna med Internet jämfört med övriga medier ska utnyttjas. Sammanfattningsvis anser vi att en reklamsatsning på Internet för försäkringsbolag är lämplig om den görs på rätt sätt och gärna i kombination med övriga medier för att uppnå högre effektivitet.</p>

The main purpose of this Master thesis is to investigate the journalists' attitude towards Internet as a news medium. The thesis also gives a general synopsis of the changing role of news media as enter the scene of Internet. The major part of this study consists of empirical studies though there is not much research-work made in this area. This case study is based on qualitative interviews of journalists. This method was the most suitable as the aim was to see tendencies and attitudes in a more individual light. The interviews were made in May and August 1999 at Göteborgs-Posten, a newspaper located in Gothenburg. Nine interviews were made with journalists of different positions, mainly staff from the department of finance and economics. The study focuses on four main areas of interest: (1) Relations strategies (2) News selection (3) Users (4) Internet The results indicate that the journalistic profession has not changed notable although a new group of journalists has entered the scene. These journalists have gained an expanding role, as the Internet demands more of the publisher. It is in the attitude towards Internet and online-publication one can note great differences among the journalists of the study. Two categories were identified, which differ in their view of Internet and the journalistic opportunities. The first type can be described as a traditional approach and the second as a more visionary approach. To clarify this differentiation some generalisations had to be made which make it less certain to find any of these two types in its pure form in real life. The study shows that Newspapers on the Internet still are considered a new phenomenon searching its form, but obviously has a great potential.<br>Uppsatsnivå: D

Doutoramento em Estudos de Arte<br>Esta investigação pretende explorar a relação entre arte e tecnologia, focando
a Internet como meio de criação artística através do exemplo da Internet Art
(também denominada arte de Internet ou net art). Desenvolvendo-se através
de dois núcleos centrais, que configuram os dois capítulos principais foca,
respectivamente, a Internet enquanto meio e espaço de criação artística, e a
arte de Internet.
A Internet, rede de comunicação global e tecnológica, é apresentada enquanto
meio de criação artística a partir de um interesse recorrente pelo
desenvolvimento de ambientes e obras virtuais, imersivas, interactivas e
ilusórias. A partir deste enquadramento, são apresentadas e analisadas as
características deste meio de comunicação, exemplificando através de várias
obras de net art a forma como os artistas apropriam estas mesmas
características nos seus trabalhos, destacando desta forma a clara relação
entre meio e prática artística.
A arte de Internet é, por sua vez, apresentada através de um estudo das suas
características e das suas particularidades no que respeita a tipologias,
temáticas e principais questões no contexto do desenvolvimento de novas
possibilidades para a obra, para o artista e para o público. A relação entre a
Internet, enquanto meio de comunicação tecnológico, e a arte de Internet,
enquanto expressão artística contemporânea, é compreendida através da
análise da produção com base nas características que definem a rede.
Procura-se, desta forma, destacar a importância da net art no seio da arte
contemporânea, promovendo uma nova perspectiva para a compreensão da
Internet enquanto meio e espaço de criação artística.<br>This research aims to explore the relationship between art and technology
focusing on the Internet as a medium for artistic creation through the example
of Internet art (which is also called net art or “arte de Internet”). The research is
developed under the support of two main chapters that focuses, respectively,
the Internet as space and medium for artistic creation and Internet art.
The Internet, a global and technological communication network, Is presented
as a medium for the arts through the constant interest for the development of
virtual, immersive, interactive and illusory environments and artworks.
Following this framework are then presented and analysed the Internetʼs
characteristics, with some net art works as example of the artistic appropriation
of these characteristics, therefore highlighting the obvious relationship between
medium and artistic practice.
The Internet art is presented through the analysis of its characteristics and
particularities related with its types, themes and main questions concerning the
context of the development of new possibilities for the artwork, the artist and
the public. The relationship between the Internet, whilst technological
communication medium, and the Internet art, whilst contemporary expression,
is therefore comprehended through the analysis of the work produced with the
support of the network characteristics.
Thus, the aim is to highlight the importance of net art in the context of
contemporary art, while promoting a new perspective for the comprehension of

In this thesis, the work of Walter Benjamin is examined for relationships to developments in internet culture and societies. Beginning with Benjamin's use of allegories in illuminating the growth of bourgeois culture in 19th century Paris, particularly the flaneur, the feuilletonist, and the sandwichboardman, this thesis then moves to discuss the relationship between Benjamin's method and how they can show structures in the formation and attraction of social aggregator websites (also known as social bookmarking) and social networking. The first part of the thesis discusses social aggregators, in particular the websites reddit, Digg, and MetaFilter. This section examines the history and development of these sites, how they work, and what the community response to them has so far been, before moving into a discussion of how these structures affect the individual user. The individual user on these sites is seen as analogous to the flaneur, who in strolling through the crowds served an economic purpose of making their consumption public. In this manner, the user turns "slack" (as the site reddit puts it) into economic work. The transformation of this slack into economic benefit is seen as belonging to an economic cycle first developed by Benjamin to explain the work of the feuilletonist and the decline of the visual aspect of this cycle from the extravagant flaneur to the destitute sandwichboardman. The second part of the thesis explores the history and technology of social networking, in particular the websites LiveJournal, MySpace, and Facebook. Here the sites are discussed in light of Benjamin's elucidation of the development of the bourgeois individual, particularly in the aspects of the bourgeois collector and the evolution of the private interior. In particular, the arcades of 19th century Paris are seen as being instructional as to how to be a modern, urban individual; the social networking site is seen as serving an analogous purpose for training individuals how to be modern, digital citizens. Finally, Benjamin's technique of the allegory, while useful in highlighing certain trends in social networking is seen as being pushed to its limits in addressing the rhetoric of a dominant ideology in digital life, that of technolibertarianism/transhumanism.

Arbetet är avgränsat och behandlar användbarhet på hemsidor och hur intervjuade yrkeskategorier resonerar kring användbarhet.</p><p>Arbetet innehåller kvalitativa intervjuer, en litteraturstudie, olika metoder för genomförande av intervjuer och resultatet från intervjuerna.</p><p>Resultatet visade att användbarhet är viktigt för att hemsidor skall användas. Vidare är användbarhet viktigt för att användaren skall tycka om hemsidan. En tydlig design, bra färgsättning, enkla texter, rätt bilder och god struktur är a och o för att en användare skall återkomma till hemsidan. Med Internet är det lätt för användaren att klicka sig vidare till konkurrenternas hemsidor. På Internet har användaren makten över vilka sidor han eller hon vill besöka. This thesis describes what happens when a group of high-school students practice their ability to reflect upon their learning (metacognitive training) and then solve tasks with information collected on the Internet. The overall aim of the thesis is to make an explorative investigation to find out if exercises of metacognitive type can support the use of information for high-school students in their work with the Internet. The dissertation also aims at making clear what significance certain pre-requisites have for metacognitive training, ie if the students attend vocationally or theoretically oriented programmes and the attitude of the teacher towards metacognitive exercises. There are a number of reasons why I have chosen to investigate the field of learning and information and communication technology (ICT). The use of the Internet to search for information in school work has increased. An important reason to investigate these issues is that the use of ICT in itself doesn´t seem to mean improved learning, according to existing research. A central question to study is where the pedagogical surplus value lies in the use of the Internet in school work? In the thesis it is argued that it is not enough to provide schools with computers and Internet connections, but that something more is needed in order to achieve a development in teaching with ICT. During one year 40 students in theoretically and vocationally oriented programmes are being monitored together with their English teachers, in four different actions. The collection of data was done exploratively by interviews, logbook notes, observations and the SOLO-taxonomy. The result is accounted for in four case studies. During the action the professionalism of the teacher in creating beneficial teaching environments, by contextualizing the metacognitive exercises to things that challenge the students' internal motivation, turned out to be central. Furthermore it was shown that the students in the vocationally oriented programmes had most use of developing their reflective ability.

När sjöbefälsstudenter under flertalet perioder befinner sig på fartygsförlagd utbildning innebär det en stor omställning jämfört med livet i land. En tydlig skillnad är möjligheten till kommunikation med nära och kära och då framförallt tillgången till internet. Enligt Internetstiftelsen har 98% av svenskarna tillgång till internet på daglig basis. Den siffran är betydligt lägre när det gäller internettillgång ute på fartyg. Syftet med denna undersökning var att ta reda på och beskriva hur viktig internettillgång ombord är för sjöbefälsstudenter och hur de har upplevt internettillgången under sin tid på praktik. Undersökningens syfte var också att ta reda på vilken hänsyn sjöbefälsstudenter tar till internettillgång vid val av arbetsgivare samt om internettillgång kan bli en avgörande faktor till att sjöbefälsstudenter väljer att avsluta karriären till sjöss. Metoden bestod av en kvantitativ studie i form av en enkätundersökning med fasta svarsalternativ och frågor med graderad inställning på skala ett till sex. Urvalet bestod av 97 respondenter från både sjökapten- och sjöingenjörsprogrammet på en sjöbefälsskola. Efter avslutad enkät sammanställdes rådatan i frekvenstabeller och fördelningen av variabeln redovisades slutligen genom stolpdiagram. Resultatet visade att majoriteten av sjöbefälsstudenterna upplevde internettillgången som bristfällig. Detta gällde både kvaliteten på internettillgången samt dess hastighet. Undersökningen visade också att sjöbefälsstudenterna ansåg att internet ombord var mycket viktigt och att det hade en positiv inverkan på den sociala kontakten med hemmet. Internettillgången påverkade också deras mentala hälsa ombord. Resultatet visade dock att majoriteten av sjöbefälsstudenterna inte tar hänsyn till internettillgång vid val av arbetsgivare och att de heller inte ansåg att internet kunde vara en avgörande faktor för att avsluta sin karriär till sjöss.<br>When students of the Nautical Science and the Marine Engineering Programmes do their time as Cadets on their ship-based internship, this means a great readjustment from life ashore. One apparent difference is the opportunity to communicate with family and loved ones and especially through the use of the internet. According to the Swedish Internet Foundation 98% of the Swedish population have access to the internet on a daily basis. This number is significantly lower when it comes to seamen on ships. The purpose of this survey was to find out and to describe how the students of both the Nautical Science and the Marine Engineering Programmes experienced the use of the internet during their ship-based internships and also how important the internet is to the students during ship-based internships. The survey’s purpose was also to describe how much the students take the internet in consideration when choosing a future employer. Furthermore the survey aimed to describe if the students considered the internet connection onboard ships as a decisive cause of ending their career at sea. The method consisted of a quantitative study in the form of questionnaires with fixed response alternatives and questions with a graded approach on a scale of one to six. The sample consisted of 97 respondents from the Nautical Science Program and the Marine Engineering Program at a Naval institute. Upon finishing the survey the primary data was compiled in frequency tables and the distribution of the variable was displayed in bar charts. The result showed that the vast majority of the students experienced the internet onboard to be inadequate. This applied to both the connection as well as the speed of the internet. The survey also showed that the students considered the internet to be of great importance onboard and that it had a clear positive impact on their social contact with family ashore. The internet connection also impacted the students’ mental health. However, the result showed that the students did not take the internet onboard into consideration when choosing a future employer. Neither did the students consider the internet to be a decisive cause for ending their career at sea.

Its architecture was however designed to enable efficient point-to-point delivery of bulk data, and can not provide statistical guarantees on the timely delivery of delay sensitive data such as streaming and real-time multimedia. Thus, applications that require low loss probabilities in today's Internet have to use some end-to-end error recovery mechanism. For delay sensitive applications the introduced latency by the applied schemes has to be low as well. Traffic control functions such as delay limited shaping and forward error correction (FEC), and multiple description coding (MDC) have been proposed for variable bitrate video. Their major drawback is, however, that it is difficult to predict their efficiency, as it depends on many factors like the characteristics of the stream itself, the characteristics of the traffic in the network and the network parameters. Consequently, it is difficult to decide which control mechanisms to employ, how to combine them and to choose the right parameters (e.g. block length, code rate) for optimal performance.</p><p>In this thesis we present results on the efficiency of traffic control functions and MDC for video transmission based on mathematical models and simulations. We investigate the efficiency of delay limited traffic shaping and the trade-offs in the joint use of traffic shaping and forward error correction. We identify the packet size distribution of the traffic in the network as an additional factor that may influence the efficiency of FEC, and present a thorough analysis of its possible effects. We present an analytical comparison of MDC versus media-dependent FEC and media-independent FEC, and based on the results we conclude that MDC is a promising error control solution for multimedia communications with very strict delay bounds in an environment with bursty losses. We combine the analytical results with traces from measurements performed on the Internet to evaluate how efficient these error control schemes are under real loss patterns. We compare the efficiency of MDC and media-dependent FEC in the presence of channel estimation errors; we propose a new rate allocation method, which is robust to mis-estimations of the channel state and which improves error resilience on non-stationary channels. Finally we present an analytical model of the performance of an end-point-based multimedia streaming architecture based on multiple distribution trees and forward error correction, and analyze the behavior of the architecture for a large number of nodes.</p>

Cette thèse propose une nouvelle méthode pour fournir une connexion réseau à des véhicules au cours de trajets prédéterminés (trains, métros, autobus urbains, etc.). La communication entre le véhicule et l'infrastructure réseau est basée uniquement sur la technologie WiFi. Les contributions de ce travail sont d'une part la conception d'une méthode pour réaliser le handover horizontal (entre bornes WiFi), et d'autre part la modélisation et l'analyse de topologies pour le réseau d'infrastructure (réseau backbone plus réseau d'accès WiFi) déployé sur la trajectoire du véhicule. Dans une première partie, nous proposons une méthode, appelée Spiderman Handover, pour réaliser le handover horizontal d'un réseau en mouvement (embarqué dans le véhicule) et une procédure de mise à jour des informations de routage (couche 2 OSI) lors du handover. Nous évaluons notre proposition par simulation et validons nos résultats par des mesures expérimentales. Dans une deuxième partie, nous étudions théoriquement les paramètres de plusieurs familles de topologies du type Chordal pour le réseau backbone construit sur un réseau d'accès linéaire. A partir de la comparaison de ces paramètres, nous proposons une topologie backbone issue de la combinaison de deux topologies Chordal. Cette topologie fournit un bon compromis entre coût du déploiement, nombre de sauts nécessaires pour atteindre la passerelle du réseau et résilience raisonnable. Enfin, nous évaluons l'intégration de la topologie proposée pour le réseau d'infrastructure avec le système handover par des simulations. Les résultats présentés suggèrent que l'algorithme de handover proposé fonctionne correctement sur le réseau d'infrastructure proposé. Cela permet la garantie d'une connexion continue aux passagers à bord des trains, métros ou autobus urbains.

The problem that is examined is how to make courses from the product of Academy World "Kunskapsbanken" to be suitable for accessing from a smart phone. "Kunskapsbanken is Web product where customer take courses over the Internet. To determine the suitability of each course page three Factors: Page size Transmission rate Information presentation technique are examined of how they are configured and then checked against three criteria's: 15 second criteria Page size criteria Comparison criteria If the factors are within the limits of the criteria's the course page in question is suitable. All pages are examined according to the mentioned procedure individually Seven of seventeen tested course pages in the course "Euron i din vardag" where approved according to the comparison criteria. Three were approved with exception, which means that some part of the page was not approved. With a 9.6 kbps connection three pages were approved, with a 28.8 kbps connection nine pages were approved and with a 43.2 kbps connection nine pages were approved according to the 15 second and page size criteria. Important things to find out are the technical features of the smart phone(s) which are suppose to access the pages e.g. browser version, support for presentation techniques HTML, WML and scripts and in what way it is connected to the Internet. The use of client side scripting should not be relied on, there should be an alternative way to the functionality it provides e.g. server side scripting. Frames should be avoided, when making a Web page for mobile accessing.

Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka vilka lösenordsstrategier individer använder sig av vid skapandet av användarkonton på internet. Studien bygger på en enkätundersökning där fyra olika målgrupper fick svara på frågor kring deras lösenordsstrategier på internet. Bland annat studerades skillnader mellan individer som är verksamma inom området IT/datateknik och individer som inte är det. Dessutom undersöktes även skillnader mellan äldre individers lösenordsstrategier och andra målgruppers. Generellt visar resultatet att inga större förändringar i lösenordsstrategier skett de senaste tio åren, förutom att användandet av lösenordshanterare har ökat. Strategier som användes av individer verksamma inom IT/datateknik skilde sig från de strategier som användes av individer som inte är verksamma inom ämnet, och det antogs att tekniskt intresse och kompetens har viss betydelse när det kommer till val av lösenordsstrategier. Hos äldre individer sågs en trend av okunskap och bristande intresse, vilket kan förklara bristfälliga lösenordsstrategier.<br>The purpose of this study was to investigate password strategies used by individuals creating user accounts on the internet. The study was based on a questionnaire survey, where four different target groups answered questions about their password strategies on the internet. Differences in strategies between individuals active in the field of IT/computer engineering, and individuals not active in the field, were studied. In addition, possible differences between older individuals and other target groups were investigated. Generally, the results show that there have been no major changes in password strategies over time, except that the use of password managers has increased. Strategies used by individuals active in the field of IT/computer engineering differed from those not active in the field, and it was assumed that technical interest and competence are of some importance when it comes to choosing password strategies. Among older individuals, lack of interest and unawareness was observed, leading to inadequate password strategies. The study is written in Swedish only.
