Résumé L’objectif de cette étude est d’analyser les incidences de l’usage du discours médical dans l’oeuvre poétique de Denis Vanier. Après avoir dressé un panorama des intertextes qui ont influencé l’oeuvre, l’auteur de l’article passe en revue les traces encyclopédiques de la médecine pour ensuite préciser les enjeux relatifs à l’usage d’un discours médical au sein de l’ethos poétique. La représentation du corps interne est au coeur de ces enjeux et conduit à l’émergence de la figure de l’écorché, point de rencontre et de tension entre la leçon d’anatomie et le discours hagiographique.
