Background: Intestinal worm infestation is a global health problem and serious concern for the third world countries. The most common intestinal parasites of helminthes that inhabit in human gut include Nematodes (roundworms) and Platyhelminthes (Cestodes and trematodes) which are wide spread throughout the world. Prevention and control of all parasitic infections including helminthes require research work based on the identification of parasites and associated predisposing factors. Abstract:
One of the problems of herd horse breeding of the Altai Mountains is significant spread of helminth infections. The purpose of this research is to characterize the epizootic situation on intestinal helminthiasis in the main horse-breeding areas of the Altai Republic. Coproovoscopic studies of horse feces from 8 districts (Mayminsky, Shebalinsky, Ongudaisky, Chemalsky, Ust-Koksinsky, Kosh-Agachsky and Ulagansky) were carried out for eggs of intestinal helminths by the KotelnikovKhrenov flotation method with the counting of eggs according to the VIGIS method.

One of the problems in horse breeding in the Tyumen Region is significant spread of helminthiasis. The purpose of our research was to study the species composition and symptoms of equine helminth infections on the farms in the Tyumen Region. We performed clinical examinations of the animals and coprological studies of horse feces for intestinal helminth infections. We also check the surface contents with perianal, circumanal and perineum swabbing taken with a stick and clear adhesive tape. The research purpose was to study the distribution of intestinal nematodes of the suborder Strongylata of horses in the physiсogeographical provinces of Gorny Altai. Faecal samples from animals spontaneously infected with helminths were examined using the Berman-Orlov larvoscopic method followed by calculation of the prevalence (P, %) and the infection intensity (II, larvae/g). Infective Strongylata larvae were identified taking into account morphometric characteristics. The study results of faecal samples from 139 animals from Central, Western, Northern and South-Eastern Altai found that inte
