Abstract:
Type II nephronophthisis (NPHP2) is an autosomal recessive renal cystic disorder characterized by mutations in the inversin gene. Humans and mice with mutations in inversin have enlarged cystic kidneys that may be due to fluid accumulation resulting from altered ion transport. To address this, transepithelial ion transport was measured in shRNA-mediated inversin-depleted mouse cortical collecting duct (mCCD) cells. Loss of inversin decreased the basal ion flux in mCCD cells compared with controls. Depletion of inversin decreased vasopressin-induced Na+ absorption but did not alter Cl− secretion by mCCD cells. Addition of amiloride, a specific blocker of the epithelial sodium channel (ENaC), abolished basal ion transport in both inversin knockdown and control cells, indicating ENaC involvement. Transcript levels of ENaC β-subunit were reduced in inversin-knockdown cells consistent with decreased ENaC activity. Furthermore, Nedd4l (neural precursor cell expressed, developmentally downregulated 4 like), an upstream negative regulator of ENaC, was evaluated. The relative amount of the phosphorylated, inactive Nedd4l was decreased in inversin-depleted cells consistent with decreased ENaC activity. The protein levels of Sgk1 (serum and glucocorticoid-inducible kinase), which phosphorylates Nedd4l, remained unchanged although the transcript levels were increased in inversin-depleted cells. Interestingly, mRNA and protein levels of Crtc2 (Creb-regulated transcription coactivator) kinase, a positive regulator of Sgk1, were decreased in inversin-depleted cells. Together these results suggest that loss of inversin decreases Na+ transport via ENaC, mediated in part by transcriptional and posttranslational regulation of Crtc2/Sgk1/Nedd4l axis as a contributory mechanism for enlarged kidneys in NPHP2.

Abstract:
Mutations in inversin cause nephronophthisis type II, an autosomal recessive form of polycystic kidney disease associated with situs inversus, dilatation, and kidney cyst formation. Since cyst formation may represent a planar polarity defect, we investigated whether inversin plays a role in cell division. In developing nephrons from inv−/− mouse embryos we observed heterogeneity of nuclear size, increased cell membrane perimeters, cells with double cilia, and increased frequency of binuclear cells. Depletion of inversin by siRNA in cultured mammalian cells leads to an increase in bi- or multinucleated cells. While spindle assembly, contractile ring formation, or furrow ingression appears normal in the absence of inversin, mitotic cell rounding and the underlying rearrangement of the cortical actin cytoskeleton are perturbed. We find that inversin loss causes extensive filopodia formation in both interphase and mitotic cells. These cells also fail to round up in metaphase. The resultant spindle positioning defects lead to asymmetric division plane formation and cell division. In a cell motility assay, fibroblasts isolated from inv−/− mouse embryos migrate at half the speed of wild-type fibroblasts. Together these data suggest that inversin is a regulator of cortical actin required for cell rounding and spindle positioning during mitosis. Furthermore, cell division defects resulting from improper spindle position and perturbed actin organization contribute to altered nephron morphogenesis in the absence of inversin.

Analisis Inversi Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) dilakukan untuk mendapatkan reflektivitas impedansi elastik dan lambda-rho sehingga diperoleh kelas anomalinya. Dalam menentukan litologinya diperoleh sudut 30o sebagai sudut yang sensitif sehingga selanjutnya dilakukan proses inversi dengan sudut tersebut. Hasil dari analisis Anomali Inversi Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) menetapkan kelas anomali respon terletak pada posisi IIp sehingga dengan menggunakan sudut 30o tersebut dilakukan pemetaan inversi impedansi elastik untuk mengetahui litologi batupasir yang diperkirakan mempunyai arah timurlaut-baratdaya. Selanjutnya untuk melakukan analisis untuk estimasi adanya fluida dengan menggunakan analisis inversi lambda-rho sehingga diperoleh nilai target 40-65 MPa*gr/cc pada litologi batupasir tersebut dengan arah orientasi utara-tenggara.

Nephrogenesis starts with the reciprocal induction of two embryonically distinct analages, metanephric mesenchyme and ureteric bud. This complex process requires the refined and coordinated expression of numerous developmental genes, such as inv. Mice that are homozygous for a mutation in the inv gene (inv/inv) develop renal cysts resembling autosomal-recessive polycystic kidney disease. The gene locus containing inv has been proposed to serve as a common modifier for some human and rodent polycystic kidney disease phenotypes. We generated polyclonal antibodies to inversin to study its subcellular distribution, potential binding partners, and functional aspects in cultured murine proximal tubule cells. A 125-kDa inversin protein isoform was found at cell-cell junctions. Two inversin isoforms, 140- and 90-kDa, were identified in the nuclear and perinuclear compartments. Plasma membrane allocation of inversin is dependent upon cell-cell contacts and was redistributed when cell adhesion was disrupted after incubation of the cell monolayer with low-calcium/EGTA medium. We further show that the membrane-associated 125-kDa inversin forms a complex with N-cadherin and the catenins. The 90-kDa nuclear inversin complexes with β-catenin. These findings indicate that the inv gene product functions in several cellular compartments, including the nucleus and cell-cell adhesion sites.

Abstract:
The spatiotemporal expression of α-tubulin, inversin and dishevelled-1 (DVL-1) proteins associated with the Wnt-signaling pathway, and primary cilia morphology were analyzed in developing kidneys (14th–38th developmental weeks), healthy postnatal (1.5- and 7-years old) and pathologically changed human kidneys, including multicystic dysplastic kidneys (MCDK), focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and nephrotic syndrome of the Finnish type (CNF). The analysis was performed by double immunofluorescence, electron microscopy, semiquantitative and statistical methods. Cytoplasmic co-expression of α-tubulin, inversin and DVL-1 was observed in the proximal convoluted tubules (pct), distal convoluted tubules (dct) and glomeruli (g) of analyzed tissues. During kidney development, the overall expression of α-tubulin, inversin and DVL-1 decreased, while in the postnatal period slightly increased. The highest expressions of α-tubulin and inversin characterized dct and g, while high DVL-1 characterized pct. α-tubulin, inversin and DVL-1 expression pattern in MCDK, FSGS and CNF kidneys significantly differed from the healthy control. Compared to healthy kidneys, pathologically changed kidneys had dysmorphic primary cilia. Different expression dynamics of α-tubulin, inversin and DVL-1 during kidney development could indicate that switch between the canonical and noncanonical Wnt-signaling is essential for normal kidney morphogenesis. In contrast, their disturbed expression in pathological kidneys might be associated with abnormal primary cilia, leading to chronic kidney diseases.

Metode magnetotellurik (MT) dapat menggambarkan struktur/zona tahanan jenis rendah di daerah panas bumi yang dapat ditafsirkan sebagai lapisan batuan penudung. Zona-zona ini biasanya digunakan untuk membantu penentuan target wellsite dan memperkirakan potensi/kapasitas sumber daya panas bumi. Dalam pemprosesan data MT, dapat dilakukan dengan pemodelan inversi 1-D, 2-D, dan 3-D untuk menghasilkan model yang realistis dan lebih presisi. Pemodelan Inversi 1-D sangat mudah dilakukan, disamping itu dapat digunakan sebagai jaminan kualitas setiap stasiun data MT yang lebih efektif. Inversi 1-D biasanya dapat menggambarkan karakter geometri dari tahanan jenis secara keseluruhan terhadap lapisan penudung, namun tidak dapat mendeteksi batas bawah atau variasi kedalamannya. Untuk menjawab ketidakpastian tersebut, dapat dilakukan pemodelan inversi 2-D. Namun pemodelan inversi 2-D juga tidak akan dapat berhasil baik, jika mendapatkan kondisi geologi yang kompleks di daerah penyelidikan. Keterbatasan dari pemodelan inversi 1-D dan 2-D tersebut, dapat diatasi dengan melakukan pemodelan inversi 3-D. Perbandingan metode pemodelan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data MT di daerah panas bumi Lokop, Provinsi Aceh. Hasil pemodelan 1-D dan 3-D lebih dapat menggambarkan kemungkinan adanya zona lapisan penudung di daerah panas bumi Lokop.

Pemantauan distribusi CO2 merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting dalam keberlanjutan CCS. Sampai saat ini pemantauan geofisika yang sering digunakan adalah metode seismik. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui kemampuan metode deep TEM untuk melakukan pemantauan pada CCSmelalui pemodelan metode deep TEM untuk simulasi pemantauan injeksi CO2. Data TEM sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan injeksi CO2 dibandingkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keberadaan CO2. Data TEM sebelum injeksi diperoleh dari pengukuran di lapangan pada tahun 2013. Data TEM setelah injeksi diperoleh dari hasil pemodelan ke depan dengan parameter model yang diperoleh dari hasil inversi data TEM lapangan. Pemodelan inversi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode inversi SVD damped least square. Proses inversi SVD digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi reservoir dan memetakan distribusi CO2pada reservoir. Hasil pemodelan inversi satu dimensi diolah menjadi model dua dimensi dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Rockworks16. Hasil pemodelan inversi data TEM lapangan menunjukkan bahwa reservoir mempunyai resistivitas rendah yaitu 2 Ωm sampai 4 Ωm. Reservoir ini berada pada kedalaman 900 m sampai 1200 m di bawah permukaan. Perbandingan data TEM sebelum injeksi CO2 dan setelah injeksi CO2 menunjukkan adanya pengaruh CO2 terhadap kurva data TEM sebelum dan setelah injeksi CO2 secara jelas. Pola kurva data TEM setelah injeksi menenjadi lebih curam pada bagian tengah dari pada kondisi sebelum ada injeksi CO2. Perubahan kurva TEM yang menjadi lebih curam tersebut disebabkan oleh keberadaan CO2 pada reservoir meningkatkan resistivitas reservoir. Lapisan reservoir setelah injeksi mempunyai resistivitas yang lebih tinggi membuat waktu peluruhan medan elektromagnetik pada lapisan tersebut menjadi lebih cepat, sehingga kurvanya menjadi lebih curam. Hasil pemodelan inversi setelah dilakukan injeksi CO2 mempunyai kesalahan perhitungan yang cukup kecil yaitu kurang dari 5%. Meskipun mempunyai kesalahan yang kecil hasil yang diperoleh tidak sesuai dengan kondisi yang sebenarnya. Hasil yang tidak sesuai tersebut dikarenakan solusi metode SVD damped least square bukan merupakan solusi yang unik. Selain itu, pendekatan lokal yang digunakanpada metode inversi tersebut membuat nilai minimum yang diperoleh saat proses inversi merupakan nilai minimum lokal. Sehingga hasil yang diperoleh tidak bisa menunjukkan pengaruh data secara keseluruhan meskipun dengan nilai kesalahan perhitungan yang kecil. Secara umum hasil yang diperoleh dari prosesinversi tidak bisa diterima, akan tetapi dari masing-masing titik data dapat teramati adanya peningkatan resistitas reservoir dari 1 Ωm sampai 3 Ωm.

Background: Uterine inversion is a rare obstetric emergency but potentially serious complication of labour. This disease characterized by severe pain and can cause life threatening condition. If these not immediately identified, the massive and underestimated blood loss can lead to hypovolemic shock. There for, early diagnosis and management of this condition is desirable.Objective: Report on the management of chronic uterine inversion due to myoma geburtMethods: Case reportCase: A 46 years old patient was admitted to the gynaecology ward of Dr. M. Djamil Central General hospital with slight bleeding from vagina since 1 month ago with 2-3 pieces of underware dark-red colored, with pain. Bleeding from the vagina often recurs. There was a mass revealed from vagina with size as big as baby’s head. The mass had pus and necrotic tissue.Conclusion: Uterine inversion is an serious obstetric complication due to life threaten of the patient. Its low incidence leads to scarce experience in solving this kind of situation. There are some risk factors or mechanism as an underlying etiology of uterine inversion. The authors concluded that the presence of myoma geburt can be assosiated with the chronic uterine inversion. Surgical approach by eksterpation of myoma geburt with total hysterectomy can be the right procedure. Therefore, it is essential to keep in mind this diagnosis in all cases of vaginal bleeding. The performance and emissions of diesel engine are highly depending on the fuel delivery process thus, injection rate shaping approach is expected to be crucial in the development of a highly efficient and clean modern engine. A novel rate shaping injector called TAIZAC (TAndem Injection Zapping ACtivation) is used to realise an injection rate shaping of progressive ramp-down of high initial injection pressure as in inversed-delta shape. This study aims to investigate diesel spray tip penetration behaviour in inverseddelta injection rate shaping. The experiments are conducted under a high-density nonvapourising condition in a constant volume combustion chamber. High-speed diffused back illumination DBI imaging of the diesel spray is acquired at 30,000 fps using mercury lamp as the light source. The tip penetration of the inversed-delta injection is smaller than that of rectangle injection regardless of their injection momentum which is proportional to t0.5 and t0.43 in rectangle and inversed-delta injection case, respectively. To examine the potential of inversed-delta injection on wall heat loss reduction, diesel spray flame impinges to a MEMS sensor located at 28-mm downstream. In shallow sea the wave of ambient noise contains the information of environment acoustic field. In theory, vertical coherence, which is one of the numerous ambient noise field characters, can be used to invert geo-acoustic parameters because of its relative stability. The ambient noise data were collected in two different seasons using two vertical-laid hydrophones in shallow water. Then acoustic parameters of semi-infinite space seabed are inversed from the vertical coherence of measured ambient noise in the frequency range of 100Hz~3 kHz. The predicted vertical coherence curve of ambient noise, which is computed using inversed parameters, agrees with the measured curve by comparison. The experiment results show that geo-acoustic parameters can be inversed effectively by the vertical coherence of ambient noise.

Combined with two-order gradient theory, the least square inversed analysis of the soil parameter for the foundation is studied and put forward in detail. After the mechanical theory for the plate on the foundation is introduced, the controlling differential equations of the plate on the foundation which is subjected to vertical loads are deduced. Through utilizing Fourier transformative theory, the corresponding solutions to the plate on the foundation are gained. Linear algebra controlling equations for the plate are achieved which leads to solve the original differential equations more easily. The least square error function for the soil parameter on the plate is established and applied with the two-order gradient method. The inversed steps on the least square error function for the soil parameter are listed. The calculation results verify the conclusions that the soil parameter of the foundation can be efficiently inversed by applying the least square theory. When different initial soil parameter is set, the iterative computations can be convergent to the true value of the soil parameter. And this least square method can also be applied for the problem of inversed analysis of parameters for other foundation models.

Spesimen yang tidak dihomogenkan dengan baik dapat mempengaruhi hasil pemeriksaan jumlah sel dalam darah khususnya darah yang menggunakan antikoagulan EDTA. Menurut Decie and Lewis, homogenisasi dilakukan menggunakan teknik inversi dengan membolak-balikkan tabung 8 sampai 10 kali. Namun teknik inversi ini tidak semuanya dilakukan oleh ATLM, sebagian ATLM menggunakan teknik homogenisasi dengan membentuk angka delapan. Tidak segera mencampur darah dengan antikoagulan atau pencampuran yang kurang adekuat dapat menyebabkan agresi trombosit, bahkan dapat terjadi bekuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan jumlah trombosit pada darah yang dihomogenkan dengan teknik inversi dan teknik angka delapan menggunakan Automatic Hematology Analyzer Sysmex KX-21. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di Balai Besar Laboratotium Kesehatan Palembang pada bulan Maret-Juni 2018. Sampel diambil dari pasien yang melakukan pemeriksaan darah lengkap di Balai Besar Laboratorium Kesehatan sebanyak 33 responden. Dari analisis uji statistik parametrik t paired sample test didapat nilai p = 0,001 artinya yang signifikan pada jumlah trombosit darah EDTA yang dihomogenkan dengan teknik inversi dan teknik angka delapan. Disarankan pada ATLM sebaiknya darah EDTA dihomogenkan dengan teknik inversi agar didapatkan hasil yang akurat.

ABSTRACTBig cities with valley or basin topography such as Bandung, generally have problems with air pollution due to the inversion layer and photochemical smog formations. The inversion conditions cause photochemical smog settling so that the air looks dark on the surface. This study was conducted to analyze the character of inversion events in Bandung due to vertical temperature changes. The inversion layer is obtained from the TAPM (The Air Pollution Model) model and in situ measurement of vertical temperatures by flying a temperature sensor to get the temperature profile. The TAPM running model is carried out in July and December following the dry and rainy seasons. In situ temperature observations are carried out in September 2018 using a drone according to the dry season and data corresponding to the rainy season using data from previous research with a radiosonde balloon. The running model results show that the inversion layer in the rainy season is stronger and more persistent than in the dry season. The inversion layer at night until morning occurs at the surface level, then the inversion layer rises, and finally, the inversion layer breaks up around 10:00 in July and around 12:00 in December. Validation with in situ measurements shows similarity in the pattern. The inversion event correlates with the subsidence and dilution of smog and photochemical smog pollutants from the edge of the Bandung Basin area.Keywords: basin, urban, photochemical smog, inversionABSTRAKKota besar dengan topografi berbentuk lembah atau cekungan seperti Bandung, umumnya memiliki masalah dengan polusi udara karena adanya pembentukkan lapisan inversi dan smog fotokimia. Running model TAPM dilakukan pada bulan Juli dan bulan Desember berkesesuaian dengan musim kemarau dan hujan, sedangkan pengamatan temperatur in situ dilakukan pada bulan September 2018 dengan menggunakan wahana drone yang berkesesuaian dengan musim kemarau, serta untuk data yang berkesesuaian dengan musim hujan menggunakan data hasil penelitian sebelumnya dengan wahana balon radiosonde. Hasil running model menunjukkan, lapisan inversi pada musim hujan lebih kuat dan lebih persisten dari pada musim kemarau. Lapisan inversi pada malam sampai pagi hari terjadi pada level permukaan, kemudian lapisan inversi ini naik dan akhirnya lapisan inversi pecah sekitar pukul 10:00 pada bulan Juli dan sekitar pukul 12:00 pada bulan Desember. Proses identifikasi dan penggambaran karakter reservoir baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif dilakukan menggunakan data sumur dan data seismik karena kedua data tersebut saling me-lengkapi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis karakter reservoir hidro-karbon di Perairan Utara Bali menggunakan metode atribut sweetness dan metode inversi impedansi akustik berbasis model. Penelitian ini menggunakan empat buah lintasan seismik laut 2D post-stack time migration dan sebuah data sumur (BLJ-1). Metode atribut sweetness dilakukan dengan menurun-kan informasi data seismik berupa amplitudo dan frekuensi, sedangkan metode inversi impedansi akustik berbasis model dilakukan dengan mengin-tegrasikan data seismik dan data sumur agar di-peroleh sebaran nilai impedansi akustik secara lateral. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa atribut sweetness dapat mengenali zona reservoir hidrokarbon dari anomali sweet spots pada rentang waktu 750-850 ms. Zona reservoir utamanya tersusun atas batuan karbonat berupa batu gamping (limestone) yang berumur Late Pliocene dan terletak pada kedalaman 680-740 m. Metode inversi berbasis model mampu memberikan nilai korelasi yang tinggi dan galat inversi yang rendah sehingga dapat mendeter-minasi lapisan batuan yang diprediksi mengandung gas. Penggunaan atribut sweetness dan inversi berbasis model, dapat mengidentifikasi dan mampu menggambarkan karakter reservoir dengan baik.

Simultaneous AVO inversion method is done with input data in the form of angle stack which is inverted together (simultaneously) to produce P-impedance, S-impedance and density. From the results of P-impedance inversion and S-impedance inversion, the values of lambda-rho and mu-rho are derived as a result of their derivatives. The range of values of P-impedance inversion, S-impedance, density, lambda-rho and mu-rho in porous limestone formation i.e. the P-impedance value around 11000-13500 m/s*g/cc, the S-impedance value around 6500-7400 m/s*g/cc, the density value around 2.52-2.6 g/cc, the lambda-value rho around 36-70 Gpa*g/cc and your value around 41-59 Gpa*g/cc. Based on the P-impedance inversion map slice, S-impedance inversion map slice, density inversion map slice, lambda-rho inversion map slice and mu-rho inversion map slice can be known the area of hydrocarbon distribution in the Baturaja formation. Hydrocarbon spread is around the TT well.</em></p>

An accurate sky polarization field map is a prerequisite for polarization navigation applications. In this article, a detector for sky full-polarization imaging detection is described, the major error-influencing factors (MEIFS ) are obtained, and the error propagation is modeled and analyzed. We reveal the relationship between the error of the inversed Stokes vector and the condition number of the detector matrix, which shows that the error of the inversed Stokes vector is affected by the Stokes vector of the incident light itself and the MEIFS together, with the MEIFS playing a decisive role. With the MEIFS optimized, the impact of detector error on the inversed Stokes vector is attenuated. A control equation for system calibration is also deduced which can establish the connection between the detector matrix design and calibration process. The work in this article provides a reference for optimization and calibration of sky full-polarization imaging detectors.

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a leading cause of blindness among the elderly. Canonical disease models suggest that defective interactions between complement factor H (CFH) and cell surface heparan sulfate (HS) result in increased alternative complement pathway activity, cytolytic damage, and tissue inflammation in the retina. Although these factors are thought to contribute to increased disease risk, multiple studies indicate that noncanonical mechanisms that result from defective CFH and HS interaction may contribute to the progression of AMD as well. A total of 60 ciliated sensory neurons in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans detect chemical, olfactory, mechanical, and thermal cues in the environment. Here, we find that a C. elegans CFH homolog localizes on CEP mechanosensory neuron cilia where it has noncanonical roles in maintaining inversin/NPHP-2 within its namesake proximal compartment and preventing inversin/NPHP-2 accumulation in distal cilia compartments in aging adults. CFH localization and maintenance of inversin/NPHP-2 compartment integrity depend on the HS 3-O sulfotransferase HST-3.1 and the transmembrane proteoglycan syndecan/SDN-1. Defective inversin/NPHP-2 localization in mouse and human photoreceptors with CFH mutations indicates that these functions and interactions may be conserved in vertebrate sensory neurons, suggesting that previously unappreciated defects in cilia structure may contribute to the progressive photoreceptor dysfunction associated with CFH loss-of-function mutations in some AMD patients.

The Sonic Hedgehog (Shh) pathway conducts primarily in the primary cilium and plays important roles in cell proliferation, individual development, and tumorigenesis. Shh ligand binding with its ciliary membrane-localized transmembrane receptor Patched1 results in the removal of Patched1 from and the translocation of the transmembrane oncoprotein Smoothened into the cilium, leading to Shh signaling activation. However, how these processes are coupled remains unknown. Here, we show that the Patched1–ArhGAP36–PKA–Inversin axis determines the ciliary translocation of Smoothened. We find that Patched1 interacts with and stabilizes the PKA negative regulator ArhGAP36 to the centrosome. Activating the Shh pathway results in the removal of ArhGAP36 from the mother centriole and the centrosomal PKA accumulation. This PKA then phosphorylates Inversin and promotes its interaction with and the ciliary translocation of Smoothened. Knockdown of Inversin disrupts the ciliary translocation of Smoothened and Shh pathway activation. These findings reveal a regulatory molecular mechanism for the initial step of Shh pathway activation.

Two-dimensional NMR has obvious advantages that it is fast and intuitive on identification of reservoir fluid, and it can estimate physical parameters accurately on evaluation, while inversion method of the two-dimensional NMR is the important basis of the logging interpretation work. Through studies about the previous TSVD inversion methods, the truncated standard of the singular value matrix has been improved in order to retain more singular values on the condition number reducing of the inversed equations, meanwhile in iterative process, variable parameter iteration algorithm is proposed to make computing more quick and efficient. In method validation, the inversed diffusion-relaxation two-dimensional NMR spectrum is fitting well with the construct spectrum and the spending time is 57 seconds. The inversed effect of variable parameter iteration method indicates that compared with the TSVD, the new method can give the reliable results very quickly which is highly beneficial for the identification and evaluation of the reservoir fluid, and has certain significance in practical petroleum exploration.

The base of the Paleocene Hornerstown Formation at the Inversand pit and certain other localities in New Jersey yields a diverse phosphatised fauna of Maastrichtian age, including the ammonites Pachydsicus (Neodesmoceras) mokotibensis Collignon, 1952, Sphenodiscus lobatus (Tuomey, 1854), Baculites spp., and Eubaculites carinatus (Morton, 1834). S. lobatus is known from the older Red Bank Sand and Tinton Sand in New Jersey; the other species are known only from the basal Hornerstown. Occurrences at the Inversand pit are regarded as either reworked or remainié, although details of Cretaceous/Paleocene boundary events have been destroyed by pervasive burrowing that pipes the Hornerstown down into the underlying Navesink Formation.

Abstract:
<p>Metode gayaberat merupakan salah satu metode geofisika yang kerap digunakan dalam studi pendahuluan cekungan sedimen. Metode ini memiliki resolusi lateral yang baik namun tidak pada resolusi vertikalnya. Metode Dekonvolusi Euler merupakan salah satu metode estimasi kedalaman sumber anomali pada data gayaberat. Keberadaan lapisan New Guinea Limestone Group di Cekungan Bintuni menyebabkan berbagai permasalahan dalam proses interpretasi. Estimasi ketebalan New Guinea Limestone Group ini dapat dilakukan berdasarkan data anomali residual gayaberat dan algoritma inversi tertentu. Metode Dekonvolusi Euler diterapkan pada data sintetik dan data lapangan di Cekungan Bintuni (daerah Mogoi, Papua Barat). Hasil penerapan metode Dekonvolusi Euler pada data sintetik memberikan solusi kedalaman yang sesuai dengan model bawah permukaan. Penerapan metode Dekonvolusi Euler pada data lapangan menghasilkan kedalaman anomali antiklin dengan kelurusan Tenggara – Barat Laut pada 2513.95 m dan kedalaman anomali antiklin dengan kelurusan Barat Daya – Timur Laut pada 2860.31 m. Diduga terjadi penambahan kedalaman ke arah timur daerah penelitian, hal ini sesuai dengan pola konfigurasi <em>basement</em> di daerah penelitian yang semakin dalam ke arah Timur. Solusi Dekonvolusi Euler tersebut digunakan sebagai informasi awal pada saat melakukan inversi data gayaberat berdasarkan algoritma inversi <em>planting density anomalies</em>. Berdasarkan hasil inversi tersebut diperoleh ketebalan sumber anomali yang diinterpretasikan sebagai <em>New Guinea Limestone</em><em> Group</em> sekitar ±2000.00 m.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci</strong>: gayaberat, estimasi kedalaman sumber, Dekonvolusi Euler, inversi gayaberat, mogoi</p>

Telah dilakukan pemetaan porositas pada lapisan reservoir karbonat yang berada pada formasi Melati menggunakan metode inversi seismik berbasiskan model pada data seismic 3D. Dari hasil inversi yang dilakukan diperoleh nilai impedansi akustik antara 17000-5000 (ft.g/s.cc) dengan nilai porositas antara 10-17 % dimana daerah yang memiliki porositas antara 16-17 % termasuk dalam skala porositas yang baik yang memungkinkan dilakukan pengembangan sumur pada daerah tersebut.

Abstract:
The LHRH anti-sense peptide (Ser1-Arg2-Ala3-Gln4-Ser5-Ile6-Gly7-Pro8-Val9-Leu10) and the inversed sequence, the LHRH inversed anti-sense peptide, have been studied by 1H and 13C NMR in one and two dimensions. The spectroscopic evidence, obtained in CD3OH/H2O (60/40) solution at pH 3.6, indicates that the first four amino acids of the anti-sense peptide form one complete 310-helical turn followed by an extended conformation for the rest of the peptide. On the time-averaged NMR scale the molecules in the 310-helical conformation are in fast exchange with the molecules that are extended throughout (major conformer). The reversed anti-sense peptide exhibits less discernible features. It appears likely that a small percentage of the molecules form a β-turn in the C-terminal four residues. Another β-turn might be located in the Val2-Ile5 fragment. Both turns occur in very minor concentrations only, and therefore it is impossible to define what kind of β-turns are present. Dalam eksplorasi minyak dan gas, interpretasi litologi diperlukan untuk mengkarakterisasi reservoir. Padaumumnya data sumur dan data seismik diintegrasikan menggunakan metode inversi menggunakanparameter elastik yang paling sensitif untuk membedakan litologi. Untuk melakukan prediksi litologiberdasarkan parameter elastik ini, digunakan metode Bayesian dalam menghitung probabilitas litologiberdasarkan data sumur. Prinsip dari metode Bayesian adalah nilai probabilitas dapat diperbaiki denganpenambahan parameter yang digunakan. Namun penambahan parameter ini mengakibatkan adanyaperhitungan kompleks Bayesian sehingga perlu dilakukan Linear Discriminant Analysis untuk mereduksidimensi parameter yang digunakan. Untuk optimalisasi hasil, penambahan parameter juga dapatdisimplifikasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan Caers. Hasil dari metode ini dapat diaplikasikan ke hasilinversi seismik, namun terdapat perbedaan frekuensi antara data log sumur dengan data seimik. Sehinggakeefektifan metode Bayesian akan dihitung berdasarkan penurunan filter frekuensi pada data log sumursebagai simulasi data inversi seismik. Pada penelitian ini, LDA menghasilkan sumbu diskriminan litologiyaitu sumbu hasil rotasi parameter Vp/Vs dan meningkatkan prediksi litologi sebesar 2.64%. Denganpendekatan Caers, didapatkan hasil interpretasi litologi yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan penggunaanmetode Bayesian satu parameter, dimana rata-rata nilai penebakan yang benar dari prediksi litologi naiksebesar 1.13%. Aplikasi metode Bayesian pada simulasi data inversi seismik menunjukkan bahwa frekuensiterendah seismik yang masih dapat menghasilkan interpretasi yang baik adalah low pass filter 60-70 darisimulasi data inversi seismik menggunakan data log.
