A clinical linear accelerator and a Cobalt-60 teletherapy unit were used in combination with five cylindrical cavity ionization chambers to explore the possibility of transferring calibration coefficients from a calibrated reference ionization chamber to a field ionization chamber using linac megavoltage x-ray beams. Five cross-calibration setup methods were explored in Solid Water™ and Lucite™ solid phantoms using 6 MV and 18 MV beams.
