Abstract:
Digital forensic investigation involves data acquisition from storage and memory devices including embedded memory, such as flash memory. In the age of IoT-connected systems, in which a typical crime scene often has several interconnected smart devices, chip-off analysis, the physical removal of a microchip from the circuitry for digital forensic acquisition, is time-consuming and can potentially lead to loss of data, even damage to the original memory chip involved in the alleged crime (due to the heat the chip is exposed to during the process). Presently, two-level converters transforming the current from DC to AC. However, an alternative method of power conversion is by utilizing modular multilevel converters, which can perform better harmonics than the two-level converter. This study aims to research the impact of these converters on battery cell heat generation. In doing so, developing a digital twin of the Li-ion battery cell, which in this case is a Samsung

The current study investigated application of natural adsorbents in brine treatment. Brines are hypersaline waters generated in power stations and mining industries rich in Mg2+, K+, Ca2+, Na+, SO4 2- , Cl- and traces of heavy metals, thus there is a need for these brines to be treated to recover potable water and remove problematic elements. Natural adsorbents have been successfully used in waste water treatment because of their high surface area and high adsorptive properties when they are conditioned with acid or base. The investigation of pH showed that natural adsorbents did not perform w

In summary, it has been shown during this study that bimetallic Fe and Mn containing catalysts can be prepared by wet impregnation and not by ion exchange because of the competition between two different metals at different oxidation number. Only a single metallic phase catalyst could be prepared successfully by using ion exchange.

Click chemistry is a molecular synthesis strategy based on reliable, highly selective reactions with thermodynamic driving forces typically in excess of 20 kcal mol-1. The 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of azides and alkynes developed by Rolf Huisgen saw dramatic rate acceleration using Cu(I) as a catalyst in 2002 reports by Barry Sharpless and Morten Meldal enabling its click chemistry eligibility. Since these seminal reports, the copper(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) has become the quintessential click reaction finding diverse utility. The popularity of the CuAAC has naturally l
