Abstract:
The study contributes to the knowledge expansion regarding basic level performance of the students studying Physiotherapy in Usti nad Labem, the Faculty of Health Studies. The study shows influence somatic factors on the performance. For the study purposes two hypotheses are set: the first one is that the basic level performance of the students studying Physiotherapy is indicated as rather stable during the first year of study, and the second one is that the basic level performance of the students studying the same programme is greatly influenced by somatic factors in motoric tests. The students performed the following tests: the 20 m progressive shuttle run test, Katch-McArdle step test, both hands 2kg ball throwing test, standing broad jump test, body strength test with a horizontal bar, lie down-stand up 1 min exercise test, seated forward bend test and Iowa Brace test. Additionally, the somatic factors such as body height, body weight, lean body mass and body fat were measured. Active body mass and body fat of the students’ tested in the year 2014 were calculated using Body Jett device. The results show that the average BMI can be considered as normal in both groups. The student group of the year 2014 showed 31% higher level of body fat than the norm. The basic level performance of the first-year students studying Physiotherapy is stated as stable. The results confirmed that the students’ basic level performance is influenced by somatic factors.

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to contribute expansion of knowledge about the level of the performance and health oriented fitness at represented students of Physiotherapy on Faculty of Health Studies Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. We compare resulting values with the values that were obtained by general population and students of Physical education and sports. Students participated these tests: progressive run for 20 meters, 2 kg heavy ball throw with both hands, standing long jump with both legs together, flexed – arm hang forward grip for woman, sit-up test 1 minute, deep bend in sitting position, Iowa Brace and calculated Body mass index (BMI). We asked two questions for our study. First, what is the level of motor skills students of Physiotherapy so academic students, what is the difference of level of motor skills between students of Physiotherapy compared with general population and second, what is the difference of the level of motor skills between students of Physiotherapy and students of Physical education and sports. Results showed that students of Physiotherapy had the same level of motor skills such as general population. Students of Physiotherapy had the same level in only two tests – deep bend in sitting position – flexibility and flexed-arm hang forward grip for woman with students of Physical education and sports.

The background to this research is the unfavorable of the learning outcomes in pencak silat single artistic. The purpose this research was to determine the effect of intelligence, flexibility, and motor educability of the learning outcomes in pencak silat single artistic student on Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Pencak Silat Islamic University “45”. This research was conducted at Islamic University “45” Bekasi, Jl. Cut Meutia No. 83 Bekasi in November 2016 with survey method, technical analysts use path analysis. The population this research is the student on Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Pencak Silat Islamic University “45 amount to 30 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling amounted to 16 people. The instruments used are learning outcomes in pencak silat single artistic used assessment rubric scale of 3 (good, enough and less), an intelligence test, sit and reach test, and Motor Educability Iowa Brace Test. Abstract:
The aim of the work was to prove the correlation between the results of MABC-2 (Movement Assesment Battery for Children-2nd edition) and Iowa Brace test in ice hockey players aged 6 - 9 years. Testing was attended by 90 children who regularly attend hockey training HC Motor České Budějovice. Evaluations are based on quantitative results that are presented using tables. The resulting values were compared with the results of other authors. Subsequently, both test batteries were metered using the Spearman correlation coefficient and the Wilcoxon sequencing test. The correlation dependence has been demonstrated for all categories of bases. Wilcoxon's dependence was confirmed only in the younger categories (U6 and U7) in the two older categories was not confirmed. The work has shown that there is a correlation between the results of the MABC-2 test battery and the Iowa Brace test. Measurements took place at the Grünwald Primary School in České Budějovice

a klíčová slova Název práce: Hodnocení úrovně motorické docility pomocí Iowa - Brace testu Title: Evaluation of motoric docility level by Iowa - Brace test Cíl práce: Cílem diplomové práce Je zjistit současnou úroveň motorické docility pomocí Iowa - Brace testu u vybraného souboru chlapců základních devítiletých škol a nově získané výsledky porovnat s výsledky Štěpničky před třiceti lety. Metodika práce: Použitými metodami byla baterie motorických testů - Iowa - Brace test, rozšířená o test hod plným míčem. Výběr testovaných osob zahrnul 163 chlapců základních devítiletých škol ve věku 7 - 15 let. Ke srovnání byly využity výsledky srovnatelného souboru chlapců z roku 1975. Výsledky: Na základě získaných výsledků jsme zjistili, že vybraný soubor chlapců dosáhl horších výsledků než chlapci v roce 1975 v testech (1, 2, 3, 8, 9 a 1O) zaměřených na koordinačně náročnější činnost, s nároky na kloubní pohyblivost, rovnováhovou schopnost a prostorovou orientaci. V testech (4, 5, 6 a 7) s nároky na výbušně silovou schopnost dolních končetin ve spojení s nároky na rovnováhovou schopnost dosáhl výsledku lepších. Z hlediska pohybového nadání je dnešní generace chlapců možno hodnotit jako podpruměrné jedince. Klíčová slova: docilita, Iowa - Brace test, koordinační schopnosti, motorické testy, pohybové nadání.

Název: Hodnocení stupně motorické způsobilosti pomocí IOWA-BRACE testu Evalution of kinetic ability degree by IOWA-BRACE test Cíle práce: Cílem práce je vzájemné srovnání úrovně motorické docility jednotlivých věkových kategorií a porovnání dnešní mládeže se souborem zkoumaným Štěpničkou a kol. v letech 1970-1975. Metoda: Na souboru 205 žákyň 2., 4., 6. a 8. tříd ZŠ (popř. primy a tercie SŠ) jsem aplikovala testovou baterii IOWA-BRACE testu, která se skládá z 10 testů a hodu plným míčem. Následovalo vyhodnocení výsledků, porovnání jednotlivých kategorií a obou výzkumů. Výsledky: Soubor testovaných dívek je celkově na nižší motorické úrovni než dívky testované Štěpničkou. Výjimku tvoří pouze testy č. 7, č. 9 a č. 10 ve srovnání věkových kategorií současných dívek a dívek testovaných Štěpničkou, ve kterých byly současné dívky úspěšnější. V rámci našeho souboru vykazovaly vyšší úspěšnost v testech 1 až 10 i výkonnost v hodu plným míčem dívky víceletého gymnázia oproti dívkám ZŠ. Title: Evaluation of the motoric docility level of adolescents with specific learning and behavior disorders. Author: Bc. Ladislav Kaňka Advisor: prof. Ing. Václav Bunc, CSc. Aim of the thesis: The aim of this study is to evaluate the motoric docility level of pupils with specific learning a behavior disorders through the Iowa-Brace test and to compare the results with data from pupils without these disorders. Method: Testing motoric abilities of 13-14 year old (adolescents) with specific learning a behavior disorders through the Iowa-Brace test and later comparing to pupils who do not have any specific learning and behavior disorders. The data was processed with the program IBM SPSS Statistics 24 and then evaluated. Results: Specific learning and behavior disorders have a significant negative impact on the motoric docility level of an individual, which has been proved by poorer performance of these pupils in a test studying the motoric docility level of probands (Iowa-Brace test). The difference in the overall performance in the Iowa-Brace test depends more on the specific learning and behavior disorders than on the sex of the individual.
