Diet discontinuation and the natural (off diet) blood phenylalanine level best predicted IQ loss, suggesting that diet continuation may be important for children with natural blood phenylalanine levels greater than 18 mg/dL.

Intelligence Quotient (IQ) has monopolized intelligence theory. Abstract: Emotional intelligence and intelligence quotient are frequently contrasted. Many of us understand IQ as a person's performance on a set of tests intended to measure to gauge intellectual capacity. People with higher IQs have superior cognitive talents, which include the capacity to learn and comprehend, and they are more likely to succeed in school. The intelligence quotient measures a person's IQ, but the emotional intelligence (EI) quotient (EQ) measures a notion that comprises the capacity, skill, or self-perceived ability to identify, appraise, and manage one's own, other people,

Abstract Scores on intelligence tests are strongly predictive of various important life outcomes. However, the gender discrepancy on intelligence quotient (IQ) prediction using brain imaging variables has not been studied. To this aim, we predicted individual IQ scores for males and females separately using whole-brain functional connectivity (FC). Robust predictions of intellectual capabilities were achieved across three independent data sets (680 subjects) and two intelligence measurements (IQ and fluid intelligence) using the same model within each gender. However, the reliability of these conventional methods remains controversial as they are vulnerable to bias and often yield inconsistent results. Interestingly, emerging evidence suggested that magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may be an alternative method to estimate a person’s level of intelligence, as IQ is closely linked with the brain's structure.
