María Estela Martínez de Perón, znana jako Isabel Perón, została prezydentem Argentyny po śmierci męża w 1974 r. Po raz pierwszy pełniła funkcję wiceprezydenta męża, Juana Domingo Peróna, podczas jego trzeciej kadencji, od 1973 r.
 W porównaniu z Peronem, najbardziej legendarnym przywódcą Argentyny, rządzącym w latach 1976–1974, Isabel (trzecia żona Perona) nie posiadała widocznych umiejętności przywódczych. Isabel znacznie różniła się od drugiej żony Perona, Evy (Evita) Perón, którą postrzegano jako „świętość” w oczach mieszkańców kraju. Eva była partnerem Perona podczas dochodzenia do władzy przed pierwszą kadencją w latach 1951–1946, towarzyszyła mu podczas kampanii wyborczej, w której został wybrany na drugą kadencję. Peron został obalony z urzędu w 1955 r. W wyniku wojskowego zamachu stanu. Jego druga kadencja rozpoczęła się od próby przedstawienia kandydatury Ewy na wiceprezydenta, zabieg okazał się nieskuteczny, ponieważ dowódcy wojskowi, pierwotni partnerzy Perona, nie poparli kandydatury Evy.
 Bardzo niewiele kobiet odgrywało kluczową rolę w historii Argentyny. Zmiana nastąpiła jednak podczas pierwszej kadencji Perona, który popar zdobycie praw wyborczych przez kobiety w 1947 r. Chociaż Isabel nie jest uważana za świętą, taką jak Ewa, jej postać może być analizowana jako osoba towarzysząca Peronowi w życiu osobistym i politycznym, a także jako kluczowa postać w historii Argentyny.

 Pierwsza administracja prezydenta Juana Domingo Peróna doprowadziła do nadania argentyńskim kobietom praw obywatelskich. Zarówno Eva Perón, jak i prezydent byli w stanie określić możliwości i potencjał głosów kobiet służący wzmocnieniu partii peronistów. Chociaż Evita nie mogła sprawować funkcji prezydenta, kilka kwestii rozstrzygnięto pod jej wpływem i przywództwem. Co najważniejsze, partia peronistów doprowadziła do uchwalenia w 1947 r. ustawy o prawie kobiet do głosowania. Ponadto inicjatywa nominacji Evity Perón na wiceprezydenta była promowana przy wsparciu CGT. Współpraca między Peronem, Evitą i ruchem robotniczym przekształciła drugą połowę lat 40. XX w. w okres wdrażania argentyńskiej równości obywatelskiej pod względem płci. Prawo do głosowania pozwoliło Argentynkom osiągnąć nowy status, dzięki któremu mogły one wpływać na politykę i życie społeczne swojego kraju, a także na swój krąg rodzinny. W wyborach w 1951 r., pomimo śmierci Evity i jej wcześniejszego „wyrzeczenia się” kandydatury na wiceprezydenta, Juan Perón został ponownie wybrany prezydentem większością głosów kobiet. W 1973 r. Isabel Perón, trzecia żona Juana, została wybrana na wiceprezydenta tuż przed trzecią kadencją męża – kształtując prezydencką formułę Peron‒Peron. Później Isabel została prezydentem Argentyny (1974–1976), jej władzę obalono w wojskowym zamachu stanu.
 
 El primer gobierno de Juan Domingo Perón fué el que sentó la base de los derechos cívicos de la mujer argentina. Tanto Eva Perón como el mismo presidente supieron identificar la oportunidad y el potencial del voto femenino, con el fin de fortalecer las bases electorales del partido peronista y de sus jefes. A pesar que Evita no pudo ejercer un puesto ejecutivo en el marco presidencial, fue ella quien bajo su sombra y liderazgo, se creó el Partido Peronista Femenino, fué sancionada la Ley de Sufragio Femenino en 1947 y promovió junto con la Confederación General del Trabajo (CGT) la iniciativa de su propia postulación a la vicepresidencia. La colaboración entre Juan Perón, Evita y el movimiento obrero, transformaron la segunda mitad de los años cuarenta del siglo veinte en la cuna de la implementación de la igualdad cívica argentina, en términos de género. El derecho de voto femenino ubicó a la mujer argentina en un nuevo status desde el cual pudo influir en el ámbito pólitico y social de su país, aún fuera de su hogar y de su círculo familiar. En las elecciones de 1951, a pesar de la muerte de Evita y del anterior “Renunciamiento”, Juan Perón fue reelecto con mayoría de votos femeninos. Años más tarde, en 1973, Isabel Perón – su tercera esposa, fue electa vicepresidente en vísperas de la tercera presidencia de Juan Perón – conformando la fórmula presidencial Perón‒Perón y posteriormente se transformará Isabel en Presidenta de la República Argentina (1974–1976), por el Golpe de Estado que instituyó la dictadura militar.

Abstract Background: HER2DX (Prat et al. EBiomedicine 2022) is a 27-gene prognostic (risk-score) and predictive (pathological complete response [pCR]-score) assay in early-stage HER2+ breast cancer based on clinical data and the expression of 4 gene signatures (immune, proliferation, luminal differentiation and HER2 amplicon). Here, we aim to evaluate, for the first time, the ability of HER2DX to predict pCR following neoadjuvant TCH or TCHP in HER2+ disease. Methods: Standardized HER2DX was performed in a central lab on baseline pre-treatment FFPE tumor biopsies from the GOM-HGUGM-2018-05 study in Spain, a consecutive retrospective series of patients (pts) with newly diagnosed stage I-III HER2+ breast cancer eligible for neoadjuvant therapy. Pts received standard 6 cycles of docetaxel, carboplatin and trastuzumab (TCH) or TCH with pertuzumab (TCHP) regimens. Primary aim was to test the ability of HER2DX pCR score to predict pCR (ypT0/is ypN0). Secondary objectives were to test the ability of HER2DX pCR score to predict pCR independently of clinical-pathological variables and the PAM50 subtype (HER2-enriched versus not), and to evaluate the association of HER2DX pCR score with the HER2DX risk-score. Logistic regression and receiver-operator curve (ROC) analysis were assessed. Statistical analyses were performed in R code 4.0.5. Results: HER2DX was evaluated in 155 pts (97%) enrolled in the study with available RNA (as of June 2022). Mean age of pts was 50 (range 22-74) and 55.2% of pts (n=85) were pre-menopausal. Clinical T2-4 disease represented 77.4% of cases (n=120), clinical node-positive disease (cN1-3) represented 63.9% of cases (n=99), and 68.0% of tumors (n=105) were hormone receptor-positive. The overall pCR rate was 57.4% (95% confidence interval [CI] 50-65): 52.2% (95% CI 40-64) with TCH (n=67) and 61.4% (95% CI 50-72) with TCHP (n=88). The proportion of HER2DX low-, medium- and high-pCR groups was 34.2%, 34.8% and 31.0%, respectively. HER2DX pCR score (as a continuous variable from 0 to 100) was significantly associated with pCR (odd ratio [OR]=1.03, p=5.91e-07). The pCR rates in HER2DX pCR-high and pCR-low groups were 75.0% and 28.0% (OR=7.6, 95% CI 3.2-19.1, p=7.14e-06), respectively. In pts treated with TCHP, the pCR rates in HER2DX pCR-high and pCR-low groups were 85.7% and 27.3% (OR=16.0, 95% CI 4.3-59.01, p=3.2e-05), respectively. The AUC ROC of HER2DX pCR score (as a continuous variable) and pCR status was 0.746 (in all pts) and 0.812 (in pts treated with TCHP). HER2DX pCR score was significantly associated with pCR independently of hormone receptor status, Ki67, age, menopausal status, pertuzumab use, clinical stage and PAM50 HER2-enriched subtype. The proportion of HER2DX low- and high-risk of relapse disease was 32.0% and 68.0%, respectively. The correlation of HER2DX pCR score and HER2DX risk-score was weak (coefficient=-0.17), as previously described. Proportion of cases according to both HER2DX scores and absolute difference of pCR rates between TCHP and TCH in each combined group is shown in Table. Conclusion: The HER2DX genomic test predicts pCR following neoadjuvant TCH or TCHP regimens independently of clinical-pathological variables and intrinsic subtype. The combination of both HER2DX scores might help better tailor systemic therapy in patients with newly diagnosed stage I-III HER2+ breast cancer. Abstract:
Glioblastomas (GBM) exhibit high infiltration into the brain parenchyma, impairing surgical resection and leading to recurrence. After standard of care, including tumor resection, radiation therapy (RT) and chemotherapy, most tumors recur at the tumor margins. These tumors show an increased aggressiveness and therapeutic resistance. The underlying mechanisms for these cellular transitions are unclear. Research suggests that RT paradoxically alters the GBM microenvironment promoting cancer cell survival upon recurrence. Some of these alterations in the irradiated tumor microenvironment include increased oxidative stress, hypoxia, cellular senescence, vasculogenesis and ECM compositional and structural changes.We use an ex vivo platform that combines the hallmarks of GBM tumors: high cellularity, the neural circuitry that surrounds tumors, a hydrogel-based ECM that mimics the biophysical and biochemical properties of GBM and the intermittent hypoxic environment present in native tumors, to characterize and evaluate the therapeutic benefits of RT and the underlying mechanisms of neurotoxicity to more effectively treat the tumor while minimizing the deleterious side effects.Our results show that radiation treatment increases glycolysis in tumor cells and that immediate response to radiation produces a more significant ATP production decrease in hypoxia environments. We have also investigated the long-term energy production and mitochondrial dysfunction in the tumor cells at different radiation rates and under low oxygen environments. Interestingly, the maximal respiration capacity in GBM cells increases with the presence of conditioned media from neuronal cultures in normoxic conditions but has the opposite effect in hypoxic environments.Proliferation ability of cells on stiffer matrices is greater than that on softer matrices. In the presence of an altered biomechanical microenvironment, a stiffer tumor tissue is more prone to immunosuppression and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. After cells are irradiated, the cell migration is different with different matrix stiffness. Moreover, softer matrices are more likely to promote cellular radiosensitivity, while stiffer matrices can inhibit cellular radiosensitivity.The use of preclinical tools that can model key features of the GBM and normal brain tissue can give a better understanding of the spatial-temporal characteristics of tumor microenvironment alterations during progression and response to therapy. Abstract:
Abstract Introduction: CDK4/6 inhibitors (CDK4/6i) with endocrine therapy (ET) is standard-of-care for HR+/HER2- metastatic breast cancer (MBC), but little is known about which gene expression and microenvironment features are associated with benefit from CDK4/6i or differentiate response compared to chemotherapy. We examined the relationship of gene expression signatures (GES) to progression-free (PFS) and overall survival (OS) in the GEICAM/2013-02 PEARL phase III randomized study of palbociclib + ET vs. capecitabine in aromatase inhibitor-resistant HR+/HER2- MBC (NCT02028507). Methods: RNA sequencing (RNAseq) was performed on baseline tumor samples from 328 patients. Intrinsic subtype was derived by the PAM50 predictor after HER2/estrogen receptor subgroup-specific normalization. Correlations to intrinsic subtype signatures, PAM50 proliferation signature, CCNE1 expression, and 10 GES were selected for analysis. After excluding 15 Normal-like samples, Cox models were fitted for PFS and OS endpoints on each selected variable for the combined study population as well as for each treatment arm, adjusted for disease site, prior ET sensitivity, prior chemotherapy for MBC, number of involved sites, treatment arm, and intrinsic subtype. P-values were adjusted based on the Bonferroni method, with an adjusted p-value < 0.05 defined as significant. Results: PAM50 intrinsic subtype (54.95% Luminal A, 38.98% Luminal B and 6.07% non-luminal (4.79% Her2-enriched and 1.28% Basal-like)) was associated with worse PFS with palbociclib + ET for non-luminal vs. Luminal A tumors (HR 3.19, 95% CI 1.65-6.16) and for Luminal B vs. Luminal A tumors (HR 1.90, 95% CI 1.28-2.82). PAM50 luminal status (Luminal A vs. Luminal B vs. non-luminal) was significantly associated with PFS with palbociclib + ET (p=0.0003) but not capecitabine (p=0.89). In the palbociclib + ET arm, lower expression of two B-cell-associated signatures (BCAS) correlated with improved OS - the Immune1 TCGA BRCA GES (PMID: 32573490) (HR 1.52, 95% CI 1.20-1.92, p=0.009) and the B-cell/T-cell cooperativity GES (PMID: 31730857) (HR 1.42, 95% CI 1.14-1.79, p=0.04). Interaction analysis for OS showed that when stratified by low and high expression using the median, the Immune1 TCGA BRCA GES had a significant interaction with treatment arm (p=0.014). On comparison of outcomes between treatment arms, low Immune1 TCGA BRCA GES expression was significantly associated with improved OS with palbociclib + ET compared to capecitabine (HR 0.44, 95% CI 0.26-0.74, p=0.03), whereas high expression was not associated with a significant OS difference (HR 1.73, 95% CI 1.07-2.79, p=0.40). Further exploratory analysis of 164 immune GES found that, after adjustment for confounders, the top eight GES associated with OS with palbociclib + ET were BCAS (unadjusted p-values < 0.005), including our pre-selected Immune1 TCGA BRCA and B-cell/T-cell cooperativity GES, and all eight negatively correlated with OS. In the capecitabine arm, this exploratory analysis failed to demonstrate a similar association between the immune GES and OS. Conclusion: PAM50 intrinsic subtype was significantly associated with PFS with second-line palbociclib + ET. Lower expression of BCAS was associated with improved OS outcomes with palbociclib + ET independent of intrinsic subtype, and for the Immune1 TCGA BRCA GES, lower expression corresponded with improved OS with palbociclib + ET compared to capecitabine. This informs recent findings that in HR+/HER2- breast cancer, tumor immune activity may be a negative predictor of CDK4/6i benefit. e4175116Abstract The article aims at bringing to the debate the polysemy of the concept of training needs and the relation between the conceptions of teacher education and the instruments used to map or diagnose these needs. Prompted by the following inquiries: what has been provided as theoretical references on training needs to researchers of the theme? What concepts of training needs, and based on what conceptions of teacher education, are presented in 10 years of production on the theme in the national scenario? What are the comprehensions of these researchers about the training needs of beginning teachers in basic education? For this, as methodological procedures, first it were conducted studies of theorists who could contribute for the comprehension of the object, followed by the analysis of articles, theses and dissertations available in data bases, selected through the criterions listed in a protocol of systematic review. The results show that the productions of theorists adopted for the comprehension of concepts about training needs contributed for deepening knowledge on the object. The systematic literature review pointed out the absence of the conception of the term training needs in most of the analyzed productions, as well as the prevalence of an understanding of need as lack of knowledge resulting from the initial teacher education and linked to the challenges and personal tensions of the daily routine of the profession and of the period of initiation. The results also show the pertinence of the constitution of collaborative training environments, as well as of the elaboration, by the school networks, of induction programs.ResumoO artigo apresenta como objetivo trazer ao debate a polissemia do conceito de necessidades formativas e a relação entre as concepções de formação e os instrumentos utilizados para fazer o levantamento ou diagnóstico dessas necessidades. Partiu-se dos seguintes questionamentos: o que se tem disponibilizado enquanto referenciais teóricos sobre necessidades formativas a pesquisadores do tema? Quais conceitos de necessidades formativas, e baseados em quais concepções de formação, são apresentados em dez anos de produção sobre o tema no cenário nacional? Quais as compreensões desses pesquisadores sobre as necessidades formativas de professores iniciantes na educação básica? Para tanto, como procedimentos metodológicos, realizou-se primeiramente estudos de teóricos que pudessem contribuir para a compreensão do objeto, seguido da análise de artigos, dissertações e teses disponibilizados em bases de dados, selecionados a partir de critérios elencados em um protocolo de revisão sistemática. Como resultados, aponta-se que as produções de teóricos adotadas para a compreensão de conceitos sobre necessidades formativas contribuíram para aprofundar conhecimentos sobre o objeto. A revisão sistemática de literatura apontou a ausência da conceituação do termo necessidades formativas na maioria das produções analisadas, bem como a prevalência de um entendimento de necessidade como falta de conhecimentos advindos da formação inicial e ligados aos desafios e tensões próprias do cotidiano da profissão e do período de iniciação. Abstract:
There is something in common between the countries located in the Western Hemisphere—and is not just the geographic position. Latin America boasts an impressive string of coups, compared to the stable democracy of its American neighbor. Recent events in Brazil after Lula was sworn in for a third term as president against incumbent Bolsonaro, reminded us of the assault on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, that disrupted a joint session of the Congress in the process of affirming the presidential election results which kicked Donald Trump out of the White House. The election protests in Brazil began shortly after the conclusion of the general election’s second round on October 30, 2022, in which Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was elected president, and picked on January 8, 2023, when thousands of far-right supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro stormed all three branches of Brazil’s government in the capital calling for military intervention. There are similarities and differences between the Brazil attack compared to January 6 attack in the United States. Both Bolsonaro and Trump have contested their electoral defeats, amplifying unsupported conspiracy theories of voter fraud. Also, the Venezuelan presidential crisis which lasted from 2019 to 2023 was paved by fraudulent elections.

Les années 1970, en Argentine, sont marquées, jusqu’au coup d’Etat de mars 1976, par une intense montée de la conflictualité sociale en général et de la conflictualité ouvrière en particulier. Cette situation, ouverte par le Cordobazo de mai 1969, taraude les bases du régime militaire de la Révolution argentine. En 1973, le retour du péronisme au pouvoir après dix-huit années de proscription ne permet pas de juguler cette poussée. Après la mort de Juan Domingo Perón, cette dernière se poursuit sous la présidence d’Isabel Perón. Elle débouche ainsi en juillet 1975 sur la première grève générale de l’histoire argentine tournée contre un gouvernement justicialiste : c’est le Rodrigazo. Parallèlement, au sein des secteurs les plus radicalisés du mouvement ouvrier, des structures de coordination et d’auto-organisation, les Coordinadoras, font leur apparition. Ce travail, qui englobe la période constitutionnelle allant de mai 1973 à mars 1976, se centre sur les tendances à la rupture entre la base ouvrière et populaire péroniste et « son » gouvernement. A la jonction de l’histoire sociale et de l’histoire du mouvement ouvrier, puisant dans la presse de l’époque, commerciale autant que militante, ainsi que dans l’histoire orale, cette étude se veut comme une contribution à un « cinquième récit » des années 1970 en Argentine. A la différence des quatre lectures historiographiques ou « récits » qui ont prévalu depuis 1976, (« récit des militaires », « théorie des deux démons », « récit du renouveau », « récit kirchnériste »), ce travail a pour objet d’analyser les conditions d’émergence de cette conflictualité sociale, ses différentes modalités d’expression, sa cristallisation à travers diverses formes d’organisation et d’auto-organisation, mais également la façon dont la gauche radicale des années 1970 intervient en son sein<br>Until the coup of March 1976, the 1970s were characterised in Argentina by a dramatic increase of social conflict in general, and of worker conflict in particular. This situation, which was initiated by the Cordobazo of May 1969, goaded the military regime of the Argentinian Revolution. The return to power of the Peronists in 1973, after 18 years of proscription, could not stop the deepening conflict. It continued after Juan Domingo Perón’s death, and throughout Isabel Perón’s period in power. In 1975 it led to the first ever general strike in Argentinian history, which was orchestrated against a justicialist government: the Rodrigazo. Simultaneously, in the most radical sectors of the workers’ movement, coordination and self-organisation structures (the Coodinadoras) began to appear. This work covers the constitutional period from May 1973 to March 1976, and focuses on the widening rift between Perón and the workers and the population at large. It aims to contribute to a “fifth” reading of the 1970s in Argentina by positioning itself at the crossroads between social history and labour history, and basing itself on mainstream and militant press coverage of the time and oral history. Unlike the four historiographical readings which have predominated since 1976 (the “military reading”, the “two demons theory”, the “renewal reading”, and the “kirchnerist reading”) this work aims to analyses the conditions from which the social conflict emerged, the different ways in which it expressed itself, its crystallisation through various forms of organisation and self-organisation, and also the role played by the radical left in the process

Spätestens seit dem »emotional turn« in den Kulturwissenschaften zu Anfang dieses Jahrhunderts ist die Leibphänomenologie von Hermann Schmitz kein Geheimtipp mehr. Die Zahl der Studien, die sich mit ihr auseinandersetzen, ist heute kaum überschaubar. Der Band versucht nach knapp einem halben Jahrhundert Wirkungsgeschichte eine Art Zwischenbilanz zu ziehen. Er fragt, inwiefern und in welchen Kontexten sich die von Schmitz erarbeiteten Kategorien des eigenleiblichen Spürens bewährt haben. Die Beiträge erörtern die gespürte Leiblichkeit in ihrer Verflechtung mit Sachverhalten wie Geschichte, Kultur, Person, Geschlecht sowie als Aktionsfeld leiblicher Kommunikation und zeugen davon, dass das von Schmitz begonnene Projekt über die Philosophie hinaus auch von anderen Wissenschaften stetig ergänzt und weiterentwickelt wird. Vor dem Hintergrund eines sich am Leitmodell des sicht- und tastbaren Körpers orientierenden Denkens konnten sprachliche Ausdrücke für leibliches Erleben nur als »Skandal der Metapher« (Strub) begriffen werden. Die Leibphänomenologie bietet dagegen einen alternativen Zugang, dem aber der Körper, wie Schmitz sagt, zum »Skandal« wird. Diesem schwierigen Verhältnis von Leib und Körper geht der Band nach, um das »Skandalöse« theoretisch einzuholen. A partir de 1991, en Colombia puede hablarse de un nuevo derecho, un derecho enmarcado en la Constitución, en el cual se da prevalencia a los derechos humanos y a los derechos fundamentales. Ese nuevo derecho se ve reflejado en las áreas del conocimiento jurídico, tanto sustancial como procesal. Y una de esas formas en que se refleja, es la posibilidad de que algunos particulares participen en forma activa en la solución de los conflictos, en tanto que en el artículo 116 de la Carta Política se faculta a los particulares para la solución de conflictos en su calidad de árbitros o de conciliadores. La necesidad de generar mecanismos de descongestión para la administración de justicia, llevó a que a partir del año mencionado se empezara con una ardua tarea legislativa sobre esos temas, pero basada, considero, en el error de llamarlos siempre mecanismos de descongestión, cuando desde el punto de vista legal y constitucional son una forma de solución de conflictos con fuerza similar a las decisiones judiciales. No es un simple formalismo para descongestionar, sino una verdadera forma de terminar los conflictos socio jurídicos de una comunidad. En estos 27 años aproximadamente se han dado diferentes leyes sobre el tema, pero tratando en cada una de ellas de dar una mayor prevalencia a estos mecanismos, incluso motivando a través de diferentes capacitaciones a los profesionales del derecho para que agoten estos mecanismos antes de acudir a los jueces de la República. Sin embargo, el legislador insta a las partes dentro del proceso para que se realice la conciliación, tal vez esto sea un error, ya que los principios procesales pueden verse afectados en esta instancia. Además, durante este tiempo, muchas de los Consultorios Jurídicos de las Universidades de Colombia han creado centros de conciliación, los cuales han servido como un medio de acción social para las universidades y las interacciones con la comunidad, han llevado a que las instituciones educativas sean reconocidas por su labor social. Igualmente, muchos debates se han dado entorno a estos mecanismos, desde la discusión de su naturaleza hasta su efectividad, han tratado de buscar su mejor desarrollo legislativo y su aplicación, a estos temas no ha sido ajena la Corporación Universitaria Americana, y como resultado de ese hacer académico se presenta este libro, en el cual se encuentran distintas perspectivas de la solución de conflictos a partir de la conciliación. Desde su visón filosófica, social y jurídica se pretende aportar a la discusión académica sobre esta materia. No se trata de dar solo una visión parcializada y subjetiva sobre el tema, sino que lo que se busca es dar una conceptualización objetiva que permita desde el punto de vista de la investigación, generar nuevo conocimiento y por ende una nueva legislación. La aproximación desde la filosofía moral a lo que es la conciliación, implica reconocer al hombre como ser no solo como una parte de un conflicto, sino como un ser integral que posee problemas sociales, morales, culturales, un ser poseedor de derechos más allá de los reconocidos por el ordenamiento positivo. Los textos de los autores Cesar Augusto Ramírez Giraldo y Diego Correa Correa, nos muestran al hombre en su esencia dentro un contexto social. Además de la visión de la persona desde su componente mental se encuentra en texto de Santiago Restrepo Restrepo, Manuel José Gómez Restrepo y Adriana Patricia Arboleda López. En un segundo plano, se presentan los mecanismos de solución de conflictos desde su componente jurídico, analizando la efectividad de un mecanismo para la solución de conflictos entre particulares nacidos de los distintos negocios jurídicos o por mandato de la ley. De igual forma, el ejercicio de la conciliación desde los consultorios jurídicos y su aplicación en algunas de las áreas del derecho, a si se observa en los trabajos de Sol Leonor Mejía Pulgarín, María Isabel Ortiz Cano, Silvia H. Muñoz Cortina y Carlos A. Gómez García. Finalmente, se encuentra en el texto el aporte de los semilleristas y estudiantes de la Corporación Universitaria donde se observa la forma en que se percibe estos medios de solución, como Jorge Juan de Bedout Quiroga, Camilo Cesar Molina Cerón, Edwin Alexander Jiménez y Santiago Rendón Ruiz.

Abstract Choreographic programming (CP) is a method to implement distributed systems that ensures communication deadlock freedom by design. To use CP, though, the number of processes and the network among them must be known statically. Often, that information is known only dynamically. Thus, existing CP languages cannot be used to implement process-parametric distributed systems. This paper introduces first-person choreographic programming (1CP) to support the implementation of process-parametric distributed systems while also ensuring communication deadlock freedom. We present both a design of 1CP (new calculus, formalised in Isabelle/HOL) and an implementation (new language and tooling, integrated in VS Code).

The use of gender as a category of historical analysis has prompted historians to rethink the modalities of politics during the Renaissance period. While women were rarely rulers in their own right, they sometimes exercised a political authority drawn from cultural influence, or directly assigned to their person by virtue of deputizing for absent husbands. This chapter explores the extent to which the political collaboration of Isabella d’Este and Francesco Gonzaga emulated precedents established by their parents and grandparents. The ways in which Isabella exploited gender tropes, or submitted to them, is considered alongside Francesco Gonzaga’s projection of a virile masculine identity, through an analysis of how the pair used art and other forms of cultural patronage to shape their respective identities and political qualities.

The impact of alcohol on Internet use is relatively unexplored. This chapter presents the results of a study conducted over a period of 1 year, which investigated whether persons who stated on their e-dating profile that they drank alcohol were more or less likely to contact another person. The study found that increased consumption of alcohol resulted in a person posting more flames (i.e. abusive posts) to their target. No such difference existed in terms of whether a person drank alcohol in relation to whether they had a low education, spoke more about themselves, their target, or whether they posted kudos to their targets. The chapter concludes that further research is needed to uncover the effects of alcohol on participation in social networking services, so that young people, like Liam Stacey and Isabella Sorley are not unfairly targeted for Internet trolling.

Abstract Contemporaries sometimes depicted women opposing their menfolk’s involvement in crusading, holding back would-be recruits; but they also described them enthusiastically promoting crusading and urging their husbands, brothers, and sons to join crusade expeditions and selling their own property to support their crusading relatives. Although women were not licensed to preach about the spiritual rewards for crusading, they could campaign in person to raise troops or promote crusading through their writings. Elite women were involved in promoting and leading crusades from the very beginning of the movement, as in the mid-1070s Pope Gregory VII enlisted the aid of Countess Matilda of Canossa and her mother Countess Beatrice for his proposed campaign to aid the Byzantine Greeks against the Seljuk Turks: they would have provided troops for his army, although in the event the expedition never took place. From the early twelfth century the queens of the Iberian kingdoms of Portugal, León-Castile and Aragon promoted and supported war against the neighbouring Muslim kingdoms, and on her deathbed in 1504 Queen Isabel of Castile urged her husband Ferdinand of Aragon to continue the conquest of Africa and ‘fight for the faith’. In addition to tracing family traditions of crusading among the ruling dynasties of Europe, this chapter looks at the influence of holy women such as Birgitta of Sweden, Catherine of Siena, and Joan of Arc in promoting crusading as a fit undertaking for Christian warriors.

Tracing back the beginning of ethical component in Nursing profession can be during the era of Florence Nightingale. The legend was emphasizing the nursing practice to be based on scientfic principle along with art. The International council for Nurses is the pioneer in establishing ethics in nursing. First book in ethics was written by Isabel Robb named Nursing ethics: for hospital and private use. American Nurses association is a professional organization to advance and protect the profession of nursing. In the year 1953, ICN adopted ethical code for the first time but revised and reaffirmed many a times. It consists of four elements that provide a framework for ethical conduct: nurses and patients or other people requiring care or services, nurses and practice, nurses and the profession, and nurses and global health. Ethical principles in nursing provide a framework for assessing the behavior of nurses in practice. Both the ANA and ICN while formulating codes given importance to minimize sufferings of people and provide quality care to the clients. The same unlawful action can be dealt with in different ways by the law. For example, touching a person without permission – that is, without consent – can be both a crime and a tort – a civil wrong. In the future, nursing will continue to evolve with advancements in technology, changing healthcare landscapes, and a greater emphasis on ethical and professional considerations n nursing. These trends reflect the evolving landscape of nursing, driven by ethical principles, technological advancements, and societal changes. By addressing these ethical and professional considerations, nurses can ensure the delivery of compassionate, patient centered care while navigating the challenges and opportunities of the future.

Serían tales como formación en idiomas, lenguas extranjeras, trabajo en equipo, ambiente multidisciplinar e internacional, capacidad de liderazgo, y un largo etcétera. La docencia tiene que adaptarse a las necesidades y demandas actuales de la sociedad. Incorporar las nuevas tecnologías y reforzar aquellas competencias que creemos que son más interesantes y cada vez más valoradas por las empresas. Desde la Escuela Universitaria Politécnica de La Almunia (EUPLA) creemos firmemente en la necesidad de mejorar la formación de nuestro alumnado y capacitarles para desempeñar un trabajo en ambientes internacionales de trabajo de manera notable. “Dao is ubiquitous, and all embracing”. Zhuang Zhou Igual que el Dao (la vía, la manera), nuestra teoría de mundos posibles –inspirada en el worlding de Donna Haraway y la cosmopolitique de Isabelle Stengers – es ubicua y lo abarca todo. Las últimas décadas nos han mostrado un mundo en colapso al borde de la extinción: la crisis climática, el agotamiento de los recursos energéticos, el fortalecimiento de las ideologías de extrema derecha, los crímenes de odio y la crisis sanitaria (después del ataque de la Covid 19 a lo largo del año 2020), la desaparición de especies animales y vegetales, así como de modos de vida que creíamos “normales” y que se han cuestionado todavía más con el agravamiento de las faltas de libertades, la vídeo-vigilancia y el teletrabajo han hecho aflorar una serie de discursos utópicos y distópicos de manera desorbitada. Estos nos han recolocado sobre maneras de conectar, pero también de desconectar buscando nuevos modelos basados en la atención del presente, la contemplación de lo pequeño y cercano o el interés por una poética y política de vuelta a la naturaleza para encontrar otras formas de relación más allá de lo humano como parte de un agenciamiento global multiespecie. En las artes visuales de la última década apreciamos una insistente inquietud por estas cuestiones multiplicándose investigaciones y trabajos que vislumbran nuevos mundos a través de narraciones especulativas que nos enseñen a vivir y morir con otros (Haraway). El artista chino Zheng Bo, desde una perspectiva eco-queer, pondría atención en una teoría de los afectos y en una política de las plantas capaz de albergar una comunidad global multiespecie reconectando con formas de hacer que apuestan por la vida en común. De esta manera, nos gustaría presentar algunos de sus trabajos orientados a explorar otras formas de vida y prácticas sociopolítico-artísticas que pareciendo irrepresentables muestran la interdependencia entre especies. Además, ahondaremos en nuestra teoría de mundos posibles como una política de lo común a través de las narraciones especulativas elaborada en estos últimos años.
