Abstract:
Boundary representation models are data models that represent the topology of a building or city model. This leads to an issue in combination with geometry, as the geometric model necessarily has an underlying topology. In order to allow topological queries to rely on the incidence graph only, a new notion of topological consistency is introduced that captures possible topological differences between the incidence graph and the topology coming from geometry. Intersection matrices then describe possible types of topological consistency and inconsistency. As an application, it is examined which

In the latter case, aspects such as positional or temporal accuracy and correctness represent typical quality metrics of the data. Abstract:
“The Objet after Stalin” is a translation of the 1967 text “Sutarin igo no obuje (スターリン以後のオブジェ)” by Japanese artist Akasegawa Genpei. Published in the aftermath of Akasegawa's trial for producing a photomechanical copy of a 1,000-yen note, this brief text traces a parallel between Duchamp's revolutionary displacement of the urinal into an art museum in New York in 1917 and the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia that same year. Exploring the potentialities of the Surrealist-inspired notion of the artistic objet, Akasegawa wittily alerts to the dangers of bureaucratization of both revolutionary poli

The subject matter of this paper is the work of the first romantic poetess Danica Zorka Rašković (1849–1910) from Belgrade, which is observed in the context of searching for common elements in Serbian and Romanian culture. Her work has remained unknown to a wider readership, and this time the focus will be on a lyric poem about Serbian-Romanian saint (Saint Petka). As a very young poetess, Danica Zorka Rašković published four poem collections in Belgrade: Slavopoj (two collections, 1866 and 1867), Milosplet (1868), Tugospev (1868). Literary critique had no positive reaction to the poetic texts

Abstract The paper proposes the use of geographic information system tools for the analysis of spatial and temporal aspects of the real estate market. In particular, it focuses on the graphical presentation of the spatial distribution of price and its variability over time. The possibility of presenting an image of the spatial distribution of prices in the form of a 3D model is studied. A topographic surface is proposed as an alternative to traditional methods of spatial interpolation. Abstract The temporal variability of the frequency of short-duration extreme precipitation events in Australia for the period 1910–2006 is examined using the high-quality rainfall dataset identified by the Bureau of Meteorology, Australia, for 189 stations. Extreme events are defined by duration and recurrence interval: 1, 5, 10, and 30 days, and 1, 5, and 20 yr, respectively. The results indicate that temporal variations of the extreme precipitation index (EPI) for various durations and recurrence intervals in the last 100 yr, except for the low frequencies before 1918, have experienced three
