Abstract:
Reaction of nickel(II) chloride with disodium ο-xylenediselenolate in methanol yields the trinuclear mixed selenide-selenolate complex anion [Ni3Se(ο-C6H4{CH2Se}2)3]2- (3) which was isolated both as tetramethylammonium and mixed sodium/tetraethylammonium salt of formula [Me4N]2[Ni3Se(ο-C6H4{CH2Se}2)3] · MeOH (1) and [Et4N]3Na[Ni3Se-(ο-C6H4{CH2Se}2)3]2- · 3MeOH · 3H2O (2), respectively. Crystals of 1 are triclinic, space group P1̄, a = 9.065(2), b = 13.281(3); c = 18.019(4) Å , α = 92.81(2), β = 97.55(2), γ = 105.09(2)° and Z = 2. 2 crystallizes in the rhom bohedral space group R3c with a = 20.305(5), c = 41.709(9) Å and Z = 6. The structures were refined to R = 0.0705 (1) and 0.0794 (2), respectively. Both compounds contain the complex anion [Ni3Se- (ο-C6H4{CH2Se}2)3]2- (3), which possesses the same principal structural features as the corresponding thiolato derivatives. Reaction of nickel(II) chloride with sodium iso-propane selenolate in methanol leads to the cyclic tetranuclear complex [Ni4(SeiC3H7)8] (4), which crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2/n with a = 13.161(3), b = 10.464(2), c = 14.603(2) Å , β = 94.42(1)° and Z = 2. The structure refinement converged to R = 0.0541. 4 is isostructural with the corresponding thiolato compound. The introduction of selenium instead of sulfur ligands reduces the midpoint potential of the reversible metal-centered oxidation from +595 to +285 mV.

Abstract:
Use value refers to the usefulness of social productions in the sense of the increasingly effective fulfillment of human needs, as well as the production of new, ever richer, more human needs. However, in a society oriented by the logic of capital, thus oriented to the production of goods for exchange (commodities), the use value will always be determined, though not unilaterally, by the fact that it is in indissoluble unity with the exchange value, which leads, as a rule, to the secondary consideration of supplying/ production of needs in favor of the increased production of plus-value, the source of capital profit. This paper analyzes, employing literature review, a discussion about the contradiction of use value / exchange value incident on the use of digital media in education. Based on the Marxian dialectical method, a discussion is made about this contradiction, analyzing (abstracting, isolating) on the one hand the rich possibilities opened by the development of these technologies; and on the other hand, the process of commodification incident on the educational phenomenon, which interferes with the realization of that possibilities. As a synthesis, it is argued that the ontologically human moment, oriented to the use value, although determined by the purpose of producing plus-value, constitutes the fundamental social reference for the critique of the commodification process that occurs in education in general, with consequences in the way the means necessary to achieve the ends are conceived and adopted, a fundamental critical attitude for digital technologies to be part of an effective humanization process.ResumoO valor de uso refere-se à utilidade das produções sociais, no sentido do atendimento cada vez mais efetivo das necessidades humanas, bem como de produção de novas necessidades, cada vez mais ricas, mais humanas. Entretanto, em uma sociedade regida pela ordem do capital, orientada, portanto, à produção de bens para a troca (mercadorias), o valor de uso estará sempre determinado, embora não unilateralmente, pelo fato de se encontrar em unidade indissolúvel com o valor de troca, o que leva em regra à secundarização desse papel de atendimento/produção de necessidades em favor da extração ampliada de mais-valor, fonte de lucro do capital. Este artigo, analisa, empregando revisão de literatura, uma discussão sobre a contradição valor de uso/valor de troca incidente sobre o emprego das mídias digitais na educação. Tomando-se como base o método dialético marxiano, faz-se uma discussão, sobre essa contradição, analisando (abstraindo, isolando) por um lado, as ricas possibilidades abertas pelo desenvolvimento dessas tecnologias; e de outro lado, o processo de mercantilização incidente no fenômeno educativo, que interfere na efetivação daquele potencial. Como síntese, sustenta-se que o momento ontologicamente humano, orientado ao valor de uso, embora determinado pela busca da produção de mais-valor, constitui referência social fundamental para a crítica do processo de mercantilização que incide na educação de forma geral, com rebatimentos na maneira como se escolhem e adotam os meios necessários para atingimento dos fins, crítica fundamental para que as tecnologias digitais se insiram em um efetivo processo de humanização.ResumenEl valor de uso se refiere a la utilidad de las producciones sociales en el sentido de la satisfacción cada vez más efectiva de las necesidades humanas, así como a la producción de nuevas necesidades cada vez más ricas y más humanas. Sin embargo, en una sociedad gobernada por el orden del capital, orientada a la producción de bienes para el intercambio (mercancías), el valor de uso siempre estará determinado, aunque no de manera unilateral, por el hecho de que está en una unidad indisoluble con el valor de cambio, lo que lleva, por regla general, a la secundarización del papel de satisfacción / producción de necesidades en favor de una mayor extracción de más valor, fuente de ganancias del capital. Este artículo analiza, utilizando una revisión de la literatura, una discusión sobre la contradicción valor de uso / valor de cambio incidente en el uso de las medias digitales en la educación. Basado en el método dialéctico marxista, se discute sobre esta contradicción, analizando (abstrayendo, aislando) por un lado las ricas posibilidades abiertas por el desarrollo de estas tecnologías; y, por otro lado, el proceso de mercantilización que ocurre en el fenómeno educativo, que interfiere con la realización de ese potencial. En síntesis, se argumenta que el momento ontológicamente humano, orientado al valor de uso, aunque determinado por la búsqueda de la producción de más valor, constituye una referencia social fundamental para la crítica del proceso de mercantilización que ocurre en la educación en general, con efectos en la forma en que se eligen y adoptan los medios necesarios para lograr los fines, una crítica fundamental para que las tecnologías digitales sean parte de un proceso de humanización efectivo.Palavras-chave: Marxismo, Trabalho e educação, Assimilação crítica de tecnologia. Abstract:
Introdução: As instituições de ensino têm o compromisso com a formação profissional qualificada, bem como, o de atender as demandas dos usuários que as procuram, devendo estar preparadas para resolução dos seus problemas. Objetivo: Caracterizar o perfil de crianças atendidas na Clínica-escola do Curso de Odontologia da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, Patos/Paraíba. Material e Método: O estudo do tipo transversal descritivo e analítico foi aprovado pelo CEP/HU/UFCG sob parecer n° 2290441. Foram analisados 195 prontuários de pacientes de 2 a 12 anos atendidos no período de novembro de 2012 a maio de 2018. Variáveis demográficas, comportamentais, clínicas e terapêuticas foram coletadas e organizadas em um banco de dados para análise estatística descritiva, por meio do programa SPSS versão 21.0. Resultados: Observou-se um perfil de crianças em sua maioria do gênero feminino, com idade média 8,16 anos, estudantes de instituições públicas, morando com até 6 pessoas e procedentes de Patos/PB. Apresentam um comportamento positivo no ambiente odontológico, sendo consideradas calmas pelos pais. Quanto à procura pelo serviço, a busca por tratamento odontológico, foi relatada, com queixa de má-oclusão e dor de origem dentária, em sua maioria. O índice ceo-d e CPO-D variaram de 0 a 15, com prevalência de cárie de 84,1%. Observou-se ainda que os cuidados em saúde bucal e os hábitos alimentares das crianças eram inadequados. Therefore, the problem of rational use of natural resources, in particular protection of early spring plant species is very important. However, literary sources analysis only reveals data on the biology of species of this genus. The present research,conducted in the spring of 2017-2019, focuses on anatomical and morphological features of two Altai species: Gagealutea and Gagea minima; these features were studied, clarified and confirmed by drawings and photographs. The anatomical structure of the stem and leaf blade was studied in detail. The obtained research results will prove useful for studies of medicinal raw materials and honey plants. Kolomytseva, DOI: https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00042 Abstract: This study was aimed at examining the influence of succession cropping on the economic efficiency of no-till field crop rotations on the black earth in the zone of unstable moistening of the Stavropol krai. A long-term stationary experiment was conducted to examine for the purpose nine field crop rotation patterns different in the number of fields (four to six), set of crops, and their succession in crop rotation. The respective shares of legumes, oilseeds, and cereals in the cropping pattern were 17 to 33, 17 to 40, and 50 to 67 %. It has been established that in case of no-till field crop cultivation the economic efficiency of plant production depends on the set of crops and their succession in rotation. The most economically efficient type of crop rotation is the soya-winter wheat-peas-winter wheat-sunflower-corn six-field rotation with two fields of legumes: in this rotation 1 ha of crop rotation area yields 3 850 grain units per ha at a grain unit prime cost of 5.46 roubles; the plant production output return and profitability were 20,888 roubles per ha and 113 %, respectively. The high production profitabilities provided by the soya-winter wheat-sunflower four-field and the soya-winter-wheat-sunflower-corn-winter wheat five-field crop rotation are 108.7 and 106.2 %, respectively. The inclusion of winter wheat in crop rotation for two years in a row reduces the second winter wheat crop yield by 80 to 100 %, which means a certain reduction in the grain unit harvesting rate to 3.48-3.57 thousands per ha of rotation area and cuts the production profitability down to 84.4-92.3 %. Sirotinskiy, DOI: https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00043 Abstract: This paper is concerned with solving one of the issues of the general problem of designing geophysical equipment for the natural climatic environment of the Arctic. The relevance of the topic has to do with an increased global interest in this region. The paper is aimed at considering the basic principles of developing and the procedure of testing seismic instruments for use at ultralow climatic temperatures. In this paper the indicated issue is considered through the example of a seismic module designed for petroleum and gas exploration by passive seismoacoustic methods. The seismic module is a direct-burial portable unit of around 5 kg in weight, designed to continuously measure and record microseismic triaxial orthogonal (ZNE) noise in a range from 0.1 to 45 Hz during several days in autonomous mode. The functional chart of designing the seismic module was considered, and concrete conclusions were made for choosing the necessary components to meet the ultralow-temperature operational requirements. The conclusions made served for developing appropriate seismic module. In this case, the components and tools used included a SAFT MP 176065 xc low-temperature lithium cell, industrial-spec electronic component parts, a Zhaofeng Geophysical ZF-4.5 Chinese primary electrodynamic seismic sensor, housing seal parts made of frost-resistant silicone materials, and finely dispersed silica gel used as water-retaining sorbent to avoid condensation in the housing. The paper also describes a procedure of low-temperature collation tests at the lab using a New Brunswick Scientific freezing plant. The test results proved the operability of the developed equipment at ultralow temperatures down to -55°C. In addition, tests were conducted at low microseismic noises in the actual Arctic environment. The possibility to detect signals in a range from 1 to 10 Hz at the level close to the NLNM limit (the Peterson model) has been confirmed, which allows monitoring and exploring petroleum and gas deposits by passive methods. As revealed by this study, the suggested approaches are efficient in developing high-precision mobile seismic instruments for use at ultralow climatic temperatures. The solution of the considered instrumentation and methodical issues is of great practical significance as a constituent of the generic problem of Arctic exploration. The article analyzes the results of treatment of patients with excess length of the second metatarsal bones that underwent osteotomy with and without osteosynthesis. The results of treatment of patients who underwent metatarsal shortening due to classical Weil-osteotomy with and without osteosynthesis were analyzed. The first group consisted of 34 patients. They underwent classical Weil osteotomy. The second group included 44 patients in whomosteotomy of the second metatarsal bone were not by the screw. When studying the results of the treatment in the immediate postoperative period, weeks 6, 12, slightly better results were observed in patients of the first group, while one year after surgical treatment the results in both groups were comparable. One year after surgical treatment, there were 2.9% (1 patient) of unsatisfactory results in the first group and 4.5% (2 patients) in the second group. Considering the comparability of the results of treatment in remote postoperative period, the choice of concrete method remains with the operating surgeon. Methods. A prospective 3-year study of 86 healthy dogs (aged 1-7 yrs) of different breeds and of both sexes. Echo homogeneity and echogenicity of the stomach and intestines wall were determined by the method of Silina, T.L., et al. (2010) in absolute values ​​of average brightness levels of ultrasound image pixels using the 8-bit scale with 256 shades of gray. Results. Quantitative echogenicity indicators of the stomach and the small intestine wall in dogs were determined. Based on the numerical values ​​characterizing echogenicity distribution in each layer of a separate structure of the digestive system, the coefficient of gastric echogenicity is determined as 1:2.4:1.1 (mucosa/submucosa/muscle layers, respectively), the coefficient of duodenum and jejunum echogenicity is determined as 1:3.5:2 and that of ileum is 1:1.8:1. Clinical significance. Datieva, DOI: https://doi.org/10.26782/jmcms.spl.10/2020.06.00046 Abstract: The aim of this work was to assess the functional reserves of the body to quantify individual health; adaptation, psychophysiological characteristics of the health quality of medical students in different seasons of the year. When studying the temporal organization of physiological functions, the rhythm parameters of physiological functions were determined, followed by processing the results using the Cosinor Analysis program, which reveals rhythms with an unknown period for unequal observations, evaluates 5 parameters of sinusoidal rhythms (mesor, amplitude, acrophase, period, reliability). The essence of desynchronization is the mismatch of circadian rhythms among themselves or destruction of the rhythms architectonics (instability of acrophases or their disappearance). Desynchronization with respect to the rhythmic structure of the body is of a disregulatory nature, most pronounced in pathological desynchronization. High neurotism, increased anxiety reinforces the tendency to internal desynchronization, which increases with stress. During examination stress, students experience a decrease in the stability of the temporary organization of the biosystem and the tension of adaptive mechanisms develops, which affects attention, mental performance and the quality of adaptation to the educational process. Time is shortened and the amplitude of the “initial minute” decreases, personal and situational anxiety develops, and the level of psychophysiological adaptation decreases. The results of the work are priority because they can be used in assessing quality and level of health. The difference between active and passive qualitative comparison is shown, two triadic models of passive and active comparison and models for comparing two and three objects are described. Triadic comparison models are proposed as an alternative to dyadic comparison models. Comparison allows finding the common and the different; this approach is proposed for the analysis of the nomothetic and ideographic method of obtaining knowledge. The nomothetic method identifies and evaluates the general, while the ideographic method searches for unique in parameters and in combinations of parameters. Triadic comparison is used in systems and methods of argumentation, as well as in the analysis of consistency/inconsistency. Abstract:
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo a melhoria do processo de amostragem na produção de bolachas, através da criação e implementação de uma proposta de plano de amostragem com base na norma ISO 2859-1:1999, que aborda procedimentos de amostragem para inspeção por atributos. A análise aos parâmetros de qualidade constituiu o ponto de partida para a deteção do tipo de não conformidades mais frequentes, avaliando os bloqueios em fábrica e as reclamações de clientes no ano de 2017. No que diz respeito aos bloqueios em fábrica, outubro foi o mês mais crítico tanto na inspeção noturna como na diurna, evidenciando os parâmetros que maioritariamente são causadores de não conformidades: a rotulagem e a aparência do produto. Relativamente às reclamações de clientes, estas ocorreram maioritariamente após a época de verão, onde existe um aumento da produção na fábrica da bolacha e simultaneamente um reforço sazonal de operadores de linha, sendo a rotulagem o parâmetro mais mencionado nas reclamações recebidas em 2017. De maneira a eliminar as ocorrências anteriormente referidas, foi elaborada uma proposta de plano de amostragem baseada na norma ISO 2859-1:1999 para uma referência específica da empresa, um cone de bolacha açucarada, onde foi avaliado um conjunto de características pertencentes à categoria “aparência”. O plano de amostragem elaborado foi implementado, tendo sido aplicado a dois lotes da referida referência que foram considerados aceites, não tendo ocorrido bloqueios nem reclamações nesses lotes. Devido à produção ser dependente das quantidades encomendadas pelos clientes, não foi possível realizar o acompanhamento de mais lotes durante o tempo de execução do trabalho. Contudo, a validação da implementação do plano tem de ser realizada com um maior número de lotes. Assim, de forma a verificar a eficiência da implementação da norma ISO 2859-1:1999, terá de ser efetuado um acompanhamento de um maior número de lotes em produção (por exemplo, numa grande encomenda da mesma referência de produto) e de forma sucessiva, e depois analisar o número de bloqueios e de reclamações relacionados com esses lotes. Só desta forma será possível perceber se o plano de amostragem implementado permite detetar de forma mais eficiente as não conformidades e, desta forma, contribuir para a diminuição do número de reclamações.

Abstract Introduction Multiple myeloma (MM) accounts for approximately 1% of all cancers and 10% of all hematologic malignancies. In our institution, we see around 200 patients with myeloma every year. We present our experience with multiple myeloma in the patients aged more than 60 years. Objectives This is a retrospective study of 300 newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patients above 60 years of age treated in the Department of Medical Oncology, Regional Cancer Center, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, during the period between 2014 and 2017. The medical records of the patients were studied and following data were collected: demographic and clinical details, diagnostic and staging workup, primary treatment, response assessment, relapse, and survival. Survival was estimated using the Kaplan–Meier method. Results A total of 300 patients were included in the study. The median age was 66 years with a male-to-female ratio of 1.4:1. The common clinical presentations were backache (134), fatigue (49), lower respiratory infection (20), and paraparesis (14). Monoclonal protein was immunoglobulin (Ig)-G in 199 patients (66.6%), IgA in 52 patients (17.4%), IgM in 2 patients, and IgD in 1 patient. Light-chain disease was seen in 42 patients (14%). One hundred and sixty patients (53.5%) had ISS stage III. Only 285 patients received treatment, of which 203 (67.8%) received bortezomib-based regimen, - bortezomib and dexamethasone (BD; 33.4%); bortezomib, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone (BLD; 19.7%); bortezomib, cyclophosphamide, and dexamethasone (VCD; 8.7%); bortezomib, thalidomide, and dexamethasone (BTD; 2.3%); and bortezomib, melphalan, and prednisolone (3.7%). Nonbortezomib-based regimens used were melphalan and prednisolone (MP) alone or with thalidomide or lenalidomide (15%), lenalidomide and dexamethasone (LD; 10.4%), and thalidomide and dexamethasone (TD; 2%). Response assessment was done as per IMWG guidelines. Fifty-seven (26.3%) patients achieved complete response (CR), 94 (43.3%) achieved very good partial response (VGPR), 19 (8.8%) attained partial response (PR), 15 (5.6%) had stable disease, and 46 (15.4%) developed progressive disease. With bortezomib-based regimens, 119 patients (58.3%) achieved CR/VGPR, and with non-bortezomib based regimens, 42 patients (51.2%) achieved CR/VGPR. One hundred and forty-three patients (47.8%) received maintenance therapy of which 79 received maintenance with bortezomib, 49 with lenalidomide, and 15 with thalidomide. The average duration of maintenance was 24 months. Second-line chemotherapy regimens were used in 37 patients. Agents used were MP, LD, TD, and VCD. With second-line treatment, 15 patients achieved VGPR, 10 patients achieved partial response, and 25 patients developed progressive disease. Third-line chemotherapy regimens were used in 22 patients and the regimens used were pomalidomide and dexamethasone, MP, TD, LD, vincristine, doxorubicin, and dexamethasone and carfilzomib and dexamethasone. At a median follow-up of 34 months, the 2-year overall survival (OS) was 68%. The median progression-free survival was 21 months. The 2-year OS for patients receiving initial bortezomib-based regimen was 67.8% and non-bortezomib based regimen was 68% which was similar. Conclusion In this study, CR/VGPR rates and 2-year OS in patients treated with bortezomib and non-bortezomib based regimens were not statistically significant.
