Abstract:
La question des successions des étrangers, bien connue de l’historiographie moderniste, reste un problème juridique important au début du XXe siècle. Au cours des années 1900, l’État italien, dans une optique à la fois financière et sociale, s’attache à rapatrier en Italie le produit des successions de ses nationaux morts à l’étranger. Aux États-Unis, où le règlement des successions se révèle compliqué au tournant des XIXe et XXe siècles, des bureaux d’assistance légale (uffici legali) sont créés auprès de plusieurs consulats italiens afin d’aider les familles des défunts à faire valoir leurs droits, en particulier lorsqu’elles résident en Italie. Le travail accompli au sein de ces bureaux contribue tout autant à la mise au point d’innovations bureaucratiques qui facilitent le traitement des dossiers qu’à la transformation des interactions administratives entre particuliers, consulats et hommes de loi. Une comparaison entre services consulaires italiens et services consulaires français permet de faire ressortir l’originalité du travail accompli par les uffici legali.

Résumé Les différences structurelles liées au type d'État-providence se retrouvent clairement dans la façon dont les étudiants se rattachent à la famille. Celle-ci est plus directement sollicitée en Italie, et les jeunes italiens engagés dans des études supérieures en dépendent très largement sur le plan matériel. La famille est également présente en France, mais intervient moins directement. Les jeunes français n'en sont pas cependant moins proches en termes de valeurs. Ainsi, le soi-disant familialisme italien vaudrait surtout en référence à la plus forte participation de la famille en tant que cellule de base au coût direct de la socialisation et de l'éducation des enfants et des jeunes adultes, et non pas tant en référence à l'idée d'une profonde identification des jeunes au système de valeurs de leurs parents.

Après avoir insisté sur l’importance des caractéristiques politico-militaires des trois Italie napoléoniennes (royaume d’Italie, royaume de Naples et départements intégrés dans l’Empire français), l’article analyse la participation de l’armée du royaume d’Italie à la campagne de Russie, en comparaison avec la campagne d’Espagne, à travers trois aspects principaux : a) le cadre militaire, b) le rôle – dans le cadre militaire – du patriotisme italien, c) la mémoire de la guerre. Se trouvent ainsi soulignées les contradictions entre le patriotisme des officiers italiens, dans une large mesure subordonnés au culte de Napoléon et aux valeurs et aspirations professionnelles, et la tendance de la mémoire commémorative italienne de considérer la campagne de Russie comme un évènement tragique, isolé, et de fait privé d’une retombée politico-militaire sur la renaissance de la Péninsule, contrairement à l’épisode espagnol.

Dans les années 1930, les entraîneurs français ont joué un rôle important dans le développement du rugby italien avec notamment Julien Saby qui devient l’entraîneur des Amatori Milano et de l’équipe nationale. Les tensions internationales mettent fin à partir de 1938 à ce magistère qui reprend à partir des années 1950. Saby revient en Italie à Rovigo et forme de nombreux joueurs et entraîneurs italiens autour d’un rugby de conquête et de possession. Dans les années 1970, Pierre Villepreux devient un nouveau maestro d’oltrealpe autour d’un rugby de mouvement et de liberté. Saby comme Villepreux veulent ouvrir une voie italienne du rugby. D’autres entraîneurs français font fructifier leur héritage comme Georges Coste, Pierre Berbizier, Jacques Brunel même si l’Italie se tourne aussi vers des entraîneurs de l’hémisphère sud. Ils contribuent à la participation des Azzurri au Tournoi des Six Nation.

Abstract This paper considers the way in which Italian authorities introduced jurisprudence of the Court of Appeals as a source of law in Libya from 1911 to 1943. Aimed at resolving the tensions that resulted from the interplay between local customs, Islamic law, and the Italian legal codes, such a recourse to jurisprudence was a clear departure from Italy’s own code-based legal system. This judicial innovation was also a change from the practices introduced in British and French colonies, where the codification of a hybrid European-local law had become the norm. Divided into three parts—jurisprudence as source of law in Italy, its uses in the colonies, and jurisprudence in practice (through the analysis of the sentences on shuf ʿa, the customary right of pre-emption)—this article illustrates Italian jurisprudential law in Libya as an example of the theoretical problems and practical advantages of legal pluralism in a colonial context. Cet article examine comment les autorités italiennes ont introduit la jurisprudence émanant de la Cour d’appel en tant que source de droit en Libye de 1911 à 1943. Destiné à résoudre les tensions qui ont résulté de l’interaction entre les coutumes locales, le droit islamique et les codes juridiques italiennes, un tel recours à la jurisprudence était clairement une rupture avec le système basé sur les codes juridiques en usage en Italie. Cette innovation judiciaire était également différente des pratiques introduites dans les colonies britanniques et française, où la codification d’un hybride euro-locale était devenue la norme. Tuttavia la recente esperienza pandemica ci ha portato a riflettere con più attenzione sugli effetti nel breve periodo. L’intervento si propone di rileggere fonti e sintesi storiografiche per rilanciare una riflessione sui cambiamenti nelle campagne italiane nei vent’anni dopo la Peste del 1348.AbstractThe Black Death’s long standing impact on the countryside during mid fourteenth and the beginning of the fifteenth century has been widely covered in historiography with particular focus on demographic trends and effects on agrarian systems of the various “agricultural Italies”. However, the latest pandemic led us to reflect more carefully on short terms impacts. The paper aim at reviewing sources and historiographic summaries to foster a discussion about the changes in Italian countryside’s in the twenty years following the 1348’s Plague.

Abstract:
Introduction : La revue de la littérature compare l’efficacité des formats de cure en France et en Italie qui différent dans la durée (12 jours versus 18 jours), le nombre et le type de soins quotidiens chez les personnes souffrant de gonarthrose, pathologie rhumatologique fréquente. Méthode : La méthode Prisma 2020 et sa checklist de 27 items ont été utilisées pour réaliser la revue de littérature de l’efficacité clinique du traitement thermal de la gonarthrose en France et en Italie. Cinq bases de données ont été explorées en utilisant des mots clés traduits en anglais, français et italiens. Le risque de biais a été évalué par la grille Clear NTP. Résultats : Parmi 1007 publications, 7 études françaises et 8 études italiennes ont été sélectionnées. La durée du traitement thermal était conventionnelle pour 5 études françaises et 7 italiennes. L’offre de soins est plus large et plus diversifiée en France (au moins 4/j en France versus 1 à 2/j en Italie). La cure thermale est efficace dans les deux pays (France : 5 études/7, Italie : 6 études/8) en ce qui concerne l’échelle analogique de la douleur, le score Womac, l’indice algofonctionnel de Lequesne, la consommation d’antalgiques. Cet effet est montré rémanent de 3 et 6 mois. À noter que 6/8 études italiennes et 2/7 françaises ne reprenaient pas le schéma de traitement conventionnel national. Le thermalisme en France et en Italie diffère par la durée des cures thermales de 18 jours et 12 jours respectivement, une offre de soins quotidiens plus large et plus diversifiée pour la France (au moins 4 en France versus 1 à 2 en Italie). Les similitudes concernent la nature des soins, la participation financière d’un organisme de soins de santé, la nécessité d’une prescription médicale pour faire une cure et la surveillance médicale par le médecin thermal. Discussion et conclusion : Les études cliniques ont montré l’efficacité du traitement thermal de la gonarthrose en France et en Italie. Pour comparer l’efficacité du modèle thermal conventionnel français et italien, il apparaît nécessaire de réaliser une étude multicentrique franco-italienne respectant strictement les protocoles conventionnels des deux pays qui diffèrent dans la durée et le nombre de soins.

Die Darstellung Italiens in den Werken von Gregor von Rezzori ist Teil und Entwicklung einer langen literarischen Tradition, die bei Goethe, Platen, Hofmannsthal und Thomas Mann ihre Höhepunkte erreicht. Mit Gregor von Rezzori nimmt aber die Darstellung Italiens die Merkmale einer Klage auf sich. Diese Klage betrifft nicht nur Venedig oder Italien, sondern die gesamte abendländische Weltanschauung, und realisiert sich in der Form der Parodie. Das Italienbild der ersten Werke Rezzoris ist romantisch, fast exotisch und ganz unrealistisch. Es folgt, etwa in den siebziger Jahren, ein journalistisch skandalsüchtiges Bild, ein „deutsches“ Italien, in dem alle Gemeinplätze bewußt karikiert werden. Doch, die Liebe zum Land ist hier schon sehr klar spürbar. Erst im Büchlein Italien (1996) wird die Wende sichtbar. Die Liebe zum Land wird deutlicher ausgedrückt und ein echteres Bild Italiens kommt aus den Schriften dieser Zeit heraus, auf jedem Fall ein „italienischeres“, obwohl das ganze immer noch zwischen Gemeinplatz und journalistischer „Pseudo-Wahrheit“ schwebt. Diese Liebe findet besonders in dem Verhältnis zur italienischen Sprache Ausdruck. Italienisch war für Gregor von Rezzori die Sprache der Liebe und der Freundschaft, des täglichen Lebens, insbesondere die Sprache einer lichten und gleichzeitig tiefen Lebensweisheit. Obwohl es nicht die Sprache seiner Reflexionen und seiner Kunst war, spürte der Schriftsteller eine starke Anziehung zur italienischen Sprache, die ihn oft zwischen Scherz und Emst sagen ließ, seine Bücher seien auf italienisch schöner. Die Gefühle Rezzoris Italien entgegen sind unmittelbar mit seiner späteren Lebensweise in dem alten Haus in der Toskana verbunden. Es ist ein verinnerlichtes Italien, wohin der Autor immer wieder zurückkehrt und wo, trotz allem, noch die Zitronen blühen, und die Freundschaft dazu.

Parler de la « publicité des préservatifs dans l’Italie fasciste » peut paraître paradoxal. À partir de la seconde moitié des années 1920, et tout au long des années 1930, le mot d’ordre du fascisme est celui de la « bataille démographique », ce qui implique la mise au ban de la contraception et l’interdiction de sa publicité. Pourtant, les préservatifs sont produits à une échelle industrielle sous le fascisme, ce qui ne peut se concevoir qu’en fonction d’une circulation et d’une consommation de masse. Ce paradoxe apparent invite à analyser les modalités d’existence, le régime de visibilité et la publicité dont ces « produits interdits » peuvent concrètement bénéficier sous le fascisme. Afin d’aborder ces enjeux, cet article se structure autour des axes thématiques suivants : le contexte d’émergence de l’industrie du préservatif et les contraintes qui, en Italie, pèsent sur sa publicité ; la matérialité de ses premiers supports publicitaires ; les modalités spécifiques de circulation et commercialisation des préservatifs, ainsi que les acteurs et vecteurs des campagnes publicitaires des années 1930 ; les stratégies à l’œuvre dans les annonces ; le degré d’expertise publicitaire qui les caractérise.

Abstract:
Cette étude a analysé la présence des sculpteurs italiens à Paris du début du XX siècle à la fin des années Trente, afin de reconstituer un chapitre important de l'histoire des échanges artistiques en France. Nous nous sommes servis d'une méthode historique et philologique, qui a bien été appliquée aux écrits critiques et à la presse de l'époque. Pour ce qui concerne le début du siècle, nous avons remarqué une participation considérable de la part des italiens aux principaux événements expositifs de la capitale comme les Salons officiels; le succès de public et commercial leur avait permis d'obtenir une place parmi les artistes à la mode les plus connus. Pendant les années Vingt, nous avons constaté un nombre moins significatif de sculpteurs; nous avons lu ce fait en nous rapportant à la situation historique italienne, qui en ce temps subissait des importants changements dus à l'ascension du régime fasciste. Les italiens qui étaient encore présents en France après la Guerre ne s'inséraient guère dans le cadre des nouvelles recherches artistiques italiennes, ils poursuivaient, au contraire, des orientations esthétiques plutôt dépassées. La dernière partie de notre étude s'est intéressée à l'essor du nouveau langage artistique de la péninsule italienne qui pendant les années Trente se répandit enfin même à l'étranger. Les sculpteurs italiens pouvaient donc participer activement à la vie expositive parisienne, tout en montrant le visage d'une plastique qui avait enfin pris conscience de ses potentialités. La France de sa part accueillait volontiers ces expérimentations, dans le but d'instituer une relation d'amitié durable avec le pays voisin
This study has analyzed the presence of Italian sculptors in Paris from the beginning of the 20th Century to the end of the third decade, with the aim of reconstructing an important chapter of the history of artistic exchanges between Italy and France. We have favored an historical-philological method, based on critical publications and old French and Italian press.Concerning the beginning of the century, we have remarked a considerable participation of Italians in the main expositions in the French capital, such as official Salons; critical and market success allowed them to get a main role in the crew of the most popular artists.During the twenties, we have noted a less considerable participation of Italian sculptors; we have interpreted it in relation to historical context of fascist Italy, where the government was trying to develop a national cultural program. The Italian artists in France, after the First World War, didn't share the new Italian artistic orientation; they went on with outdated aesthetic choices.The last part of our research was interested in the development of the new Italian artistic language, finally known out of Italy. The Italian sculptors consequently could take part in arts activity in Paris, showing the face of a new sculpture, finally aware of its potentialities. France gave these experimentations a good welcome in the aim of constituting a longtime friendship with the Italian country

Cette thèse, qui croise l'oeuvre de Jean Cocteau avec la culture italienne, a un double but. D'une part, il s'agit de retracer les éléments qui ont contribué à donner vie à la partie italienne de l'imaginaire du poète, au cours de ses séjours dans la Péninsule. D'autre part, elle vise à faire connaître le point de vue italien sur sa présence dans le pays, en particulier pour ce qui concerne ses films et sa réflexion critique. Elle s'articule en trois parties. Dans la première, il s'agit de détecter comment l'imaginaire italien de Cocteau est né, ainsi que de retracer l'historique des relations qu'il a entretenues avec l'Italie. Dans la deuxième partie, elle aborde le domaine cinématographique dans sa spécificité, également sousun double aspect. D'une part, à travers l'analyse des commentaires que Cocteau a écrits après sa découverte des films italiens, pour pouvoir dégager sa conception de ce cinéma sous une forme générale, et comprendre son intérêt pour certains de ses protagonistes en particulier. D'autre part, elle retrace et analyse la place que la presse spécialisée italienne a accordé à son oeuvre dans l'univers cinématographique du Bel Paese. Enfin, la troisième partie examine les liens concrets que Cocteau a noués avec trois cinéastes italiens : Roberto Rossellini pour l'adaptation cinématographique de La Voix humaine; Luciano Emmer, pour la rédaction et la lecture des commentaires français de Venise et ses amants et de La Légende de Sainte Ursule; enfin Michelangelo Antonioni pour la réalisation de son Mystère d'Oberwald, adaptation de la pièce de théâtre L'Aigle à deux têtes.

Notre etude compare la presentation objective de la realite dialectale et subdialectale bergamasque et la facon dont celle-ci est vecue, percue et vehiculee, sur place. Ainsi, les bergamasques considerent-ils leur(s) dialecte(s) comme tres different(s) des autres, plus hermetique(s), plus dur(s). Ils expliquent cette difference par une origine du dialecte non latine, celtique ou germanique, substrat et adstrat souvent confondus, voire mediterraneenne. Ils justifient cette opinion par la presence d'un lexique "original" et souvent incomprehensible pour les non-bergamasques, ainsi que par l'existence de "sons" pretendument absent des autres dialectes italiens. Bien entendu, leurs assertions reposent sur des faits historiques, attestes ou controverses. D'autre part, les bergamasques s'identifient eux-memes au travers de leur(s) parler(s) et se reclament generalement, d'une origine differente. Cette culture commune, largement repandue, s'exprime au travers d'affirmations apparemment contradictoires. A tout cela, nous opposons une presentation de la phonologie, de la phonetique historique, de la morpho-syntaxe et du lexique bergamasques qui place ce(s) dialecte(s), sans doute aucun, au sein du continuum dialectal italien, evidence qu'il suffisait de demontrer. L'identite culturelle bergamasque, meme debarrassee de ses mythes, reste suffisamment forte et curieuse pour constituer un sujet passionnant
Our study is partially based on two important fields of italian linguistics, dialectology and sociolinguistics. It is then composed of two parts: "the dialects" and "folk perceptual dialectology". We chose the province of bergamo after staying up to twenty months there which revealed to us the interest of the comparison of the data provided by dialectology (phonology, historical phonetics, morphology and syntax, lexis, the different subdialects, and their place in the italian dialectal continuum) and those provided by sociolinguistics (the oral and the written aspect, the fields of reference, the markers, the folk ethnonyms, the culture). Common bergamask culture, whatever its origins, produced several myths and it still contribues to strengthen others. Due to the devaluation the identity of the province suffered in the past, the inhabitants are even more intent on enhancing their dialect; their wish for prestigious or faraway origins, their will to be different since it is impossible to be part of the whole, are often expressed with the same words. Our study shows that linguistical originality does not belong to the bergamask dialect more than to the family of north italian dialects it is a part of

Abstract:
Les modalités de structuration prosodique des unités accentuelles et des phrases peuvent changer significativement d'une variété linguistique a l'autre. Dans une perspective d'analyse descriptive de variétés locales, cette thèse étudie l'homogénéité géoprosodique des parlers de la péninsule salentine mais souligne un usage différencie de certains schémas intonatifs. A partir de l'analyse d'un corpus expérimental et de productions spontanées recueillies lors de nombreuses enquêtes sur le terrain, la prise en compte progressive d'éléments de structuration met en relief la présence d'une variabilité géolinguistique pouvant remettre en question les considérations que l'on adopte habituellement dans les études sur des échelles géographiques macroscopiques. La diffusion de solutions intonatives différentes et leur persistance conditionnée dans l'italien régional apporte un complément aux théories de l'évolution et de la différenciation des dialectes de cette aire. Elle permet de porter un regard nouveau sur les dynamiques socio linguistiques actives dans l'interaction entre dialecte et italien et propose des éléments de réflexion sur le changement prosodique et la résistivité de certains traits, juges parmi les plus stables d'une langue. L'étude des structures intonatives de phrases affirmatives et interrogatives met en évidence l'importance de quelques traits contribuant à la détermination de deux sous-systèmes géoprosodiques principaux. L'originalité de l'approche repose sur le recours à une méthode quantitative pour la comparaison prosodique de codes linguistiques dans des situations de pseudo-bilinguisme. Plus de 2000 réalisations des locuteurs de deux variétés sont étudiées pour vérifier la persistance des éléments de différenciation détectés dans des conditions diverses (passage d'un code a l'autre, d'un registre a l'autre, d'un style a l'autre et en fonction de l'organisation du contenu informatif des phrases et de différentes hiérarchies syntaxiques et énonciatives).

Итальянское влияние на русское военное зодчество началось с приездом в Россию итальянских мастеров во второй половине XV в. Итальянские архитектурные черты настолько полюбились русским зодчим, что они прослеживаются в русской архитектуре даже через два столетия после отъезда из страны последнего итальянца из той плеяды. С целью оценить степень итальянского влияния в данной работе впервые применён статистический подход к подсчёту «итальянизмов» в ряде кирпично-каменных памятников военного зодчества конца XV - начала XVIII в. Italian influence on Russian military architecture began with the arrival of Italian masters in Russia in the second half of the 15th century. Russian architects were so fond of Italian architectural features that the latter can be traced in Russian architecture even two centuries after the last Italian from that Pleiad left the country. In this work, in order to assess the degree of Italian influence, a statistical approach was, for the first time, applied to the calculation of “Italianisms” in a number of brick-and-stone monuments of military architecture of the late 15th - early 18th centuries.

Abstract:
Italy has been defined as a laboratory for populism and a “populist paradise.” Indeed, multiple forms of populism coexist in Italy, covering the entire political spectrum. From the “left-wing” Movimento 5 Stelle to the right-wing coalition composed of Fratelli d’Italia, Forza Italia and the Lega, we can be sure that populism is very popular in Italy. We can be equally sure that, over the last few years, all these parties have had links to the Putin regime. Suffice it to mention the decades-long friendship between Silvio Berlusconi and Vladimir Putin or the admiration Matteo Salvini, the head of the Lega, has demonstrated for the president of the Russian Federation. However, the Russian invasion and the extensive popular and institutional support evinced for Ukraine in its wake changed everything, leaving populist parties scrambling to review their positions and modify their discourse. In the report, I will examine the ties between the main Italian populist parties (Fratelli d’Italia, Forza Italia, Lega, Movimento 5 Stelle) and Russia and the shifts in their positions towards President Putin in the aftermath of the invasion. Against this backdrop, the September 2022 elections in Italy can be considered as a “test case” to measure the success of the populist parties’ strategies to negotiate the crisis and to shed light on the changing balance of power within the broad populist field.
