Abstract:

Coenraad Jacob Temminck (1778–1858) was the first director of the Rijksmuseum Natuurlijke Historie in Leiden, The Netherlands. His large private collection of specimens, composed primarily of birds and mammals, was listed by him in a catalogue published in 1807. However, an unpublished catalogue in Temminck's hand, drafted by him about four years earlier, has been found in the archives of Naturalis Biodiversity Center, Leiden. This paper compares the two catalogues, providing further insights into Temminck's work.

In 1545, Pierre Phalèse Sr composited and published his first book of lute music Des chansons reduictz en tabulature de lut. It was the first of twenty-two lute books that were published and later printed by Phalèse over the period 1545–75. Though five editions are now lost, the sixteen extant publications preserve a collection of 946 separate lute pieces, comprising vocal intabulations of polyphonic works, ensemble music, fantasias, preludes, and dances.

Storage times and temperatures were t = 0 (up to 2 h after start of pool collection); t = 8 h (25°, 4°C); t = 24 h (25°, 4°, – 11°C); and t = 72 h, 1, 4, 8, and 16 weeks (‐11°, −20°, −70°C). Lipids were extracted with a modified Folch procedure and tocopherols were analyzed with high‐performance liquid chromatography. For HMW-GS, a total of 16 different subunits and 30 allelic haplotypes were identified. The expression of HMW-GS ranged from 3 to 5 per genotype instead of 6 per genotype, revealing the phenomenon of gene silencing. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Powtoon application on the learning outcomes of class VIII social studies. Yaks of the Republic of Tyva are characterised by high biological diversity, expressed by a wide range of body colours and polymorphism of blood groups.
