AbstractWe performed 12CO(J = 2 − 1) and 13CO(J = 2 − 1) line surveys of the galactic plane using the AMANOGAWA telescope (Nakajima et al. 2007) which covers 5° ≤ l ≤ 180° on a 7'.5 grid. The telescope beamsize and velocity resolution are 8.7′ ± 0.4′ and 1.3 km s−1. The resultant rms noise level is typically 0.12 K in TA*. We found a linear correlation between 12CO(J = 2 − 1) and 12CO(J = 1 − 0) and a curved correlation between 12CO(J = 2 − 1) and 13CO (J = 2 − 1), although the intensity ratios of these three lines have intrinsic variation. Purpose/Background: Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) have an impact on health throughout the lifespan (Filletti et al., 1999; Hughes et al., 2017). These experiences range from physical and mental abuse, substance abuse in the home, parental separation or loss, financial instability, acute illness or injury, witnessing violence in the home or community, and incarceration of family members (Hughes et al., 2017). Understanding and screening for ACEs in children with urinary incontinence can help practitioners identify psychological stress as a potentially modifiable risk factor. Methods: A 5

Abstract:
This short pedagogical movie illustrates an effect in nuclear physics called backbending which was first observed in the study of the rotational behavior of rapidly rotating rare-earth nuclei in Stockholm, Sweden in 1971. The video contains a mechanical analog utilizing rare-earth magnets and rotating gyroscopes on a turntable along with some historic spectra and papers associated with this landmark discovery together with its explanation in terms of the Coriolis induced uncoupling and rotational alignment of a specific pair of particles occupying high-j intruder orbitals. Thus backbending rep

Abstract:
Pipeline valve bodies, fittings, flanges, and numerous other components are typically made of cast or forged low-alloy steels. The large wall thicknesses necessitated by the complex shapes of these components usually are not conducive to ductile fracture behavior. Nevertheless, there is a distinct need to have sufficient toughness in such components so that they will not be susceptible to catastrophic failure from defects that may remain after manufacturing and hydrostatic testing. The present practice for controlling toughness in such components consists of specifying arbitrary values of Char
