Abstract:
On 30 November 1978 thousands of people from across the United States took part in “Justice for J. P. Stevens' Workers Day.” In seventy-four cities activities such as rallies, marches, press conferences, film premieres, and leafleting were held in support of a union boycott against a giant textile company that had persistently shown its willingness to violate the law rather than recognize its workers' right to organize. In New York City more than 3000 demonstrators marched in front of the company's midtown headquarters as part of the nationwide day of protest that was endorsed by Governor Hugh

Abstract:
BackgroundActivation of the STING pathway in intratumoral immune cells leads to increased type I interferon production, promoting recruitment and priming of T-cells against tumor antigens, and providing anti-tumor activity.1 Intratumoral administration of STING agonists has resulted in notable therapeutic activity in animal models.1 STING agonists have also shown clinical activity in patients, which was more pronounced when combined with an anti-PD-1 antibody.2,3 BI 1387446 potently and highly selectively activates the STING pathway; BI 754091 is a humanized IgG4 anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody.

Abstract:
Different national cultures within Western Europe have very different models of what constitutes a 'well-functioning organisation'. Looking at the nations with the largest economies in the European Union (the French, Germans, Italians and British), the author considers how some of these different models (the 'pyramid', the 'machine', the 'family' and the 'market') have influenced the company laws of the countries in which they are prevalent. The piece then considers the implications for European Union company law of the variations between the predominant national models. Strengths and weakness

Abstract Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is the most common pediatric soft tissue sarcoma. Alveolar RMS (ARMS), an aggressive subtype of RMS, is driven by either t(2;13)(q35;q14) or t(1;13)(p36;q14) resulting in the PAX3-FOXO1 (P3F) or PAX7-FOXO1 (P7F) fusion oncoproteins. Despite rigorous scientific advances and clinical trials, the survival rate for high-risk ARMS has remained at 20% over the last three decades. A deeper understanding of the basic biology driving P3F mediated tumorigenesis is needed to discover novel therapeutic targets. The P3F oncofusion protein is the key oncogenic driver and a po

Abstract Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is the most common pediatric soft tissue sarcoma. Despite rigorous scientific advances and clinical trials, the survival rate for high-risk RMS has not increased above 20% in the last three decades. A deeper understanding of the basic biology driving RMS tumorigenesis is needed to discover novel therapeutic targets. RMS can be divided into two major histologic subtypes: embryonal RMS (ERMS) and alveolar RMS (ARMS). ARMS accounts for 20% of pediatric cases and has poorer survival. The majority of ARMS tumors harbor t(2;13)(q35;q14) or t(1;13)(p36;q14) chromosomal

MM pts are at risk of cardiac events due to age and disease-related factors, as well as cardiotoxicity from treatments including anthracyclines, proteasome inhibitors (PIs), and high-dose therapy. Both of the US FDA-approved PIs, Btz and carfilzomib, have been associated with cardiac events in MM pts, with cardiac toxicity and cardiac adverse reactions included un
