The paper deals with four species of the genus <em>Japananus</em> Ball, 1931 (Hemiptera, Cicadellidae, Deltocephalinae), including one new species from Sichuan Province, China, <em>Japananus bicurvatus</em> <strong>sp. nov.</strong>. A key is given to distinguish all species of the genus, and illustrations of genitalia are provided. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University (IEGU).

This paper includes results of study of the four adventive species of cicada (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha) in the Republic of Moldova, of which two species from family Cicadellidae, one species from family Membracidae and one species - from family Flatidae. Data on their biology, ecology, origins and general distribution in Europe, feeding preferences and economic impact are presented. The paper presents the results of the monitoring of the hopper fauna in the vineyards established in Congaz village, Comrat district, Republic of Moldova. The observations were carried out from May to October 2022; as a result, there were detected 27 hopper species in the vineyard. During a 2019 survey of the Auchenorrhyncha fauna in Serbia, three alien species were recorded for the first time: a leafhopper species of Asian origin Orientus ishidae (Cicadellidae, Deltocephalinae) and two North American species, Acanalonia conica (Acanaloniidae) and Erasmoneura vulnerata (Cicadellidae, Typhlocybinae).
