Abstract:

Abstract:
A simple non-invasive method for monitoring cardiac function is Photoplethysmography. This paper describes Photoplethysmography with two light sources (reflective and transmitter), one photosensor with two signal conditioners (double BPF). The heart rate signal information is modulated at an audible frequency generated by the oscillator (IC555 timer) then converted into digital data by the USB sound card (as an ADC). Signal processing is performed using Raspberry Pi and JavaFX software. PPG, pulse, meanRR, sdRR, rMSSD, pNN50 waveforms can be displayed on the 5 inch LCD screen. The PPG wave is morphologically the same as the ABP wave, with precise signal acquisition, PPG offers a novelty for the management of PAD in people with diabetes mellitus, kidney failure and the elderly. With this tool, the heart rate can be calculated with an error percentage of 0.098%. On the display can be displayed a wave graph that resembles the input waveform and is a future for ABP replacement. Comparison of heart rate measurements between the device and pulse oximetry shows a deviation between 0.1 - 0.4.

Abstract:
In this study, we used a module for monitoring and detecting students at risk of dropping out. We worked with a sample of 49 third-year students in a Health Science degree during a lockdown caused by COVID-19. Three follow-ups were carried out over a semester: an initial one, an intermediate one and a final one with the UBUMonitor tool. This tool is a desktop application executed on the client, implemented with Java, and with a graphic interface developed in JavaFX. The application connects to the selected Moodle server, through the web services and the REST API provided by the server. UBUMonitor includes, among others, modules for log visualisation, risk of dropping out, and clustering. The visualisation techniques of boxplots and heat maps and the cluster analysis module (k-means ++, fuzzy k-means and Density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise (DBSCAN) were used to monitor the students. A teaching methodology based on project-based learning (PBL), self-regulated learning (SRL) and continuous assessment was also used. The results indicate that the use of this methodology together with early detection and personalised intervention in the initial follow-up of students achieved a drop-out rate of less than 7% and an overall level of student satisfaction with the teaching and learning process of 4.56 out of 5.

Abstract:
Abstract Background Sequence variations such as single nucleotide polymorphisms are markers for genetic diseases and breeding. Therefore, identifying sequence variations is one of the main objectives of several genome projects. Although most genome project consortiums provide standard operation procedures for sequence variation detection methods, there may be differences in the results because of human selection or error. Objective To standardize the procedure for sequence variation detection and help researchers who are not formally trained in bioinformatics, we developed the NGS_SNPAnalyzer, a desktop software and fully automated graphical pipeline. Methods The NGS_SNPAnalyzer is implemented using JavaFX (version 1.8); therefore, it is not limited to any operating system (OS). The tools employed in the NGS_SNPAnalyzer were compiled on Microsoft Windows (version 7, 10) and Ubuntu Linux (version 16.04, 17.0.4). Results The NGS_SNPAnalyzer not only includes the functionalities for variant calling and annotation but also provides quality control, mapping, and filtering details to support all procedures from next-generation sequencing (NGS) data to variant visualization. It can be executed using pre-set pipelines and options and customized via user-specified options. Additionally, the NGS_SNPAnalyzer provides a user-friendly graphical interface and can be installed on any OS that supports JAVA. Conclusions Although there are several pipelines and visualization tools available for NGS data analysis, we developed the NGS_SNPAnalyzer to provide the user with an easy-to-use interface. The benchmark test results indicate that the NGS_SNPAnayzer achieves better performance than other open source tools.

Abstract:
DSCBlocks is an open-source platform in hardware and software developed in JavaFX, which is focused on learning embedded systems through Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs). These devices are employed in industrial and educational sectors due to their robustness, number of peripherals, processing speed, scalability and versatility. The platform uses graphical blocks designed in Google’s tool Blockly that can be used to build different Algorithm Visualizations (AVs). Afterwards, the algorithms are converted in real-time to C language, according to the specifications of the compiler for the DSCs (XC16) and they can be downloaded in one of the two models of development board for the dsPIC 33FJ128GP804 and dsPIC 33FJ128MC802. The main aim of the platform is to provide a flexible environment, drawing on the educational advantages of the AVs with different aspects concerning the embedded systems, such as declaration of variables and functions, configuration of ports and peripherals, handling of Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), interrupts, among others, that are employed in several fields such as robotics, control, instrumentation, etc. In addition, some experiments that were designed in the platform are presented in the manuscript. The educational methodology and the assessment provided by the students (n = 30) suggest that the platform is suitable and reliable to learn concepts relating to embedded systems.

Abstract:
The paper provides the description of the add-on to the stemming tool MyStem by I. Segalovich. We designe the application to add the MyStem a convenient graphical interface that is easy to learn and intuitive for users who do not specialize in information technology. It turned out that MyStem correctly processes outdated vocabulary if it is passed into the program using modern Cyrillic. In addition to the convenient interface, our program has the option to work with the outdated Cyrillic alphabet, when turned on, for instance, the letters zelo and omega are being replaced by «ks» and «o» respectively, and only then the text is transferring for analysis to MyStem, and then the characters are being replaced back in the processed document. So our add-on intercepts the output of the MyStem tool, reformatts and analyzes it in a special way. In addition, the application has functionality for removing homonyms manually if the program was not correct with automatic tagging the morphological characteristics of a word. The main purpose of this application is to prepare the morphological tagging of documents of the archival fund «Mikhailovsky Stanichny Ataman» to create a linguistic corpus. During the work on the application, we solved the problem with the correct processing of texts containing outdated Cyrillic characters. To implement the functional and user-friendly graphical interface, we use the JavaFX platform (OpenJFX).

Abstract:
Kata Kunci: budaya, iklan, teh, posmodernisme, idiom estetik AbstractThe fast growth of Indonesian advertising is shown by a lot of ads on television medium. The food and beverage products use ad to compete against the competitors. The beverage which included in Ready To Drink (RTD) category becomes popular, especially tea as the most widely consumed besides mineral water. Some bottled tea products show the ads with concept of freshness, activity, and contemporary lifestyle. “Javana” Tea has different ad concept with the similar products. This ad shows the blend of traditional with contemporary culture, which is packaged in a frame. Teh difference of visualization concept compared with the similar ads and the use of two cultures encourage the researcher to find messages behind ad by using postmodernism approach, which is restricted to aesthetic idioms: deconstruction, hyperreality, simulation, intertextuality, kitsch, and pastiche. Analysis process is begun from observe ad then breakdown it by taking some elements of image, text, and audio in the position of specified time. The results of analysis are combined into one and then concluded. The result of this research is the presence of postmodernism outline in “Javana” Tea ad through idioms aesthetic above, which creates contradiction and paradox associated with traditional and contemporary culture. Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic has plunged the tourism sector. Tourism industries have ceased operations in line with travel restrictions imposed by most countries. With various considerations, the tourism sector must be reopened. Kemenparekraf said ecotourism has the potential to survive in the post-COVID period. East Java with a variety of ecotourism destinations has the potential to become a leading destination. On the other hand, a pandemic caused changes in tourist behavior. Government policies that prioritize ecotourism; the advantages of East Java's ecotourism attractions; as well as a shift in the tourists' behavior who tend to travel to locations close to home, had an impact on changing tourism patterns in East Java. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach case study to reveal tour patterns in East Java, especially in the cities of Surabaya, Tuban, Batu, Malang City, Malang Regency, and Banyuwangi which contributed to 50% of East Java’s domestic tourist visits. This research was conducted in two phases, where the first stage (literature studies) guides the next phase of qualitative data in the form of interviews with tourism stakeholders. Our findings are that the majority of East Java tourists conduct tours in the regency/city where they live, ecotourism has not become the main choice of domestic tourists, local governments need to further develop potential natural attractions as ecotourism attractions, and existing ecotourism travel patterns are not yet optimized.

Abstract:
Abstract The Javan Hawk Eagle (Nisaetus bartelsi) is a bird prey species (raptor) at the top of the food chain cycle that only exists in Java’s Island. Population the Javan Hawk Eagle is endangered due to illegal trade, poaching, and land narrowing. The purpose of this study is to know the population of the Javan Hawk Eagle in Gunung Picis Ponorogo Nature Reserve. The identification method used is by using the suitable method and direct observation. The study results explained that in the area, the Javan Hawk Eagle was found following food supplies in nature, so that area was very suitable for the breeding process of endemic birds in Java’s Island. In 2016, one young Javan Hawk-Eagle was released in this area. In 2017 and 2018, a young Javan Hawk-Eagle and 1 adult Javan Hawk-Eagle were found. Then at the end of 2019, they released one adult Javan Hawk-Eagle at location A, so there have been four adult Javan Hawk-Eagle. Observations lasted until 2020 in that area with the same result as in 2019. Observations made in that conservation area in February - March 2020 show that the Javan Hawk-Eagle conservation continues to increase, marked by the presence of young individuals.

Abstract:
East Java had the second highest contribution to National GDP 2017 after Jakarta with a value of 14.61%. Economic growth in East Java was supported by the agricultural sector (13%), while the livestock contributed 20.24% to the East Java agricultural sector. East Java had 20.89% of the national beef cattle population, but beef production was still relatively moderate (23.17%), because East Java farms were dominated by Conventional Farming. East Java beef production didn’t balance national beef consumption which had increased by 4.66%. It was the main cause of fluctuations and volatility in beef prices. The fundamental issue of beef issues in East Java needed to be resolved through the industrial revolution 4.0. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of conventional farming, to arrange the e-agriovest system, and to know the contribution of e-agriovest system to East Java’s GDP. This research was conducted in Jember as a sample area. The study used survey methods and descriptive analytics. Based on the results of research on characteristics of conventional farming, among others (1) the number of small livestock (1-3 tail) (56.67%), (2) the sales period as needed (60%), (3) still using forage feed (100%) , (5) saving livestock function (46.66%) and sales system through blantik (66.67%). Based on East Java livestock data in 2008-2017, the contribution of livestock in East Java had a high potential to be developed in terms of population, production, demand, domestic beef prices, imported beef prices, and GDP. e-agriovest can be simulated to increase beef production by 20%. The existence of e-agriovest had a positive impact on East Java GRDP with a value increase of 2.83%. e-agriovest system is an appropriate implementation strategy in developing the livestock subsector in order to accelerate the acceleration of East Java's economic growth both economically, socially and environmentally. Abstract:
Static checker frameworks support software developers by automatically discovering bugs that fit general-purpose bug patterns. These frameworks ship with hundreds of detectors for such patterns and allow developers to add custom detectors for their own projects. However, existing frameworks generally encode detectors in imperative specifications, with extensive details of not only what to detect but also how . These details complicate detector maintenance and evolution, and also interfere with the framework’s ability to change how detection is done, for instance, to make the detectors incremental. In this paper, we present JavaDL, a Datalog-based declarative specification language for bug pattern detection in Java code. JavaDL seamlessly supports both exhaustive and incremental evaluation from the same detector specification. This specification allows developers to describe local detector components via syntactic pattern matching , and nonlocal (e.g., interprocedural) reasoning via Datalog-style logical rules . We compare our approach against the well-established SpotBugs and Error Prone tools by re-implementing several of their detectors in JavaDL. We find that our implementations are substantially smaller and similarly effective at detecting bugs on the Defects4J benchmark suite, and run with competitive runtime performance. In our experiments, neither incremental nor exhaustive analysis can consistently outperform the other, which highlights the value of our ability to transparently switch execution modes. We argue that our approach showcases the potential of clear-box static checker frameworks that constrain the bug detector specification language to enable the framework to adapt and enhance the detectors.
