JavaScript is used on the web together with HTML and CSS, in many cases using frameworks for JavaScript such as jQuery and Backbone.js. This project is comparing the speed and memory allocation of the programming language JavaScript and its two most used frameworks as well as the language on its own. Since JavaScript is not very fast and it has some missing features or features that differ from browser to browser and frameworks solve this problem but at the cost of speed and memory allocation, the aim is to find out how well JavaScript and the two frameworks jQuery and Backbone.js are doing this on Google Chrome Canary. The results varied (mostly) between the implementations and show that the to-do application is a good enough example to use when comparing the results of heap allocation and CPU time of methods. The results where compared with their mean values and using ANOVA. JavaScript was the fastest, but it might not be enough for a developer to completely stop using frameworks. With JavaScript a developer can choose to create a custom framework, or use an existing one based on the results of this project.

När de traditionella skrivbordsapplikationerna görs om till webbapplikationer, ställer det krav på JavaScript som används mer och mer för att få fram ett responsivt gränssnitt på webben. För att underlätta utvecklingen av JavaScriptapplikationer har ett antal funktionsbibliotek skapats. I vår studie undersöker vi därför vilket av de två populäraste JavaScriptbiblioteken idag, jQuery och Prototype, som presterar bäst i dagens mest använda webbläsare. Dessa tester har utförts i ett testramverk som vi själva utvecklat för att vara webbläsaroberoende och inte kräva något av de bibliotek vi testar. Testerna är uppdelade i fyra testfall som körs 20 gånger för att ge ett mer tillförlitligt resultat. Vi har testat hur varje bibliotek hanterar traversering och manipulation av DOM-trädet, sätter och hämtar stilar och attribut på element i DOM-trädet och hanterar event på element i DOM-trädet. Testerna visade att biblioteket Prototype presterade bättre på alla utom ett testfall i majoriteten av våra utvalda webbläsare; det enda testfallet där jQuery presterade bättre än Prototype var där DOM-trädet skulle manipuleras. Trots att Prototype inte alls är lika omtalat som jQuery, verkar det vara ett bättre bibliotek att använda till webbapplikationer som ska ha ett interaktivt gränssnitt då det i flertalet av våra tester presterar bättre.

New technological innovations like tablets and smartphones have a taken significant market share on the web and puts new demands on webpages, the user interface and compatibility among different client devices. The full test of a web-based system prior to the publication is often regarded as an important part of the process to create a complete and successful website. This bachelor thesis investigates the possibility to analyze mobile-adapted web sites using a system that first records the visitor's activities and then replays them for an expert analyst to provide valuable information to developers about how their site can be improved. The essay begins with a litterature study on today's most common web development tools and then examines the possibility to apply them during the development of the analysis tool. The work also describes two methods, pair programming and waterfall method used during the project. Three different evaluation methods are presented and one of the models is applied on the finished system. The project results in a web-based analysis tool written mainly in JavaScript using the jQuery library. The analysis tool is tested to not affect the user experiences and evaluated by known evaluation models.Nya tekniska innovationer som surfplattor och smarta mobiltelefoner har intagit stora marknadsandelar på webben vilket sätter nya krav på webbsidornas användargränssnitt och kompatibilitet bland olika klientenheter. Ett fullständigt test av ett webbaserad system före offentlig publicering anses ofta som en viktig del i utvecklingen för att skapa en komplett och framgångsrikt webbsystem. Denna kandidatuppsats undersöker möjligheten att analysera mobilanpassade webbsidor med hjälp av ett system som först spelar in besökarens aktiviteter och sedan spelas upp för utbildade webbanalytiker som ska kunna ge värdefull information till utvecklare om hur deras sida kan förbättras. Uppsatsen börjar med en litteraturstudie på dagens vanligaste webbutvecklingsverktyg för att sedan undersöka möjligheten att tillämpa dessa under utvecklingsfasen av analysverktyget. Arbetet beskriver även två arbetsmetoder som har använts under projektets gång: parprogrammering och vattenfallsmetoden. Tre olika utvärderingsmodeller presenteras och en av modellen tillämpas på det färdiga system. Projektarbetet resulterar i ett webbaserad analysverktyg skrivet huvudsakligen i JavaScript med biblioteket jQuery. Analysverktyget testas för att inte påverka besökarens surfkänsla samt utvärderas efter kända utvärderingsmodeller.

Il motivo dello studio di JavaScript è il grande utilizzo di tale linguaggio per la costruzione delle moderne web-app. Per la realizzazione di questo elaborato si è partiti dallo studio dell’evoluzione del web, dal Web 1.0 al web 2.0 e dall’evoluzione delle web app in questo contesto, successivamente si è raffinata la ricerca allo studio più specifico di JavaScript e, di conseguenza, ai suoi costrutti ed ai suoi stili di programmazione, come la programmazione asincrona e la programmazione ad eventi.

Chatbots are software agents that interact with the user in a conversation. The main goal of their creation was to resemble a human being in the way they perform said interaction, trying to make the user think he/she is writing to another human being. This has been implemented with varying degrees of success. One of the most popular languages for the definition of a chatbot knowledge base is AIML.This thesis focuses on the implementation of an AIML interpreter written in Javascript to allow for a web-based client-side specific usage of AIML chatbots. The interpreter must guarantee the compliance of properly formed AIML documents, perform all the necessary pre-processing duties for the correct usage of the chatbot and ensure the correctness of both pattern matching of user input and chatbot response.The interpreter fully exploits the DOM tree manipulation functions of the jQuery library to achieve said goals, treating AIML files as if they were normal XML files. The result is a well performing, fully functional AIML interpreter tailored around AIML 1.0 specification.

Idag utförs arbete ofta på resande fot och då används smarta telefoner och surfplat- tor istället för datorer. Dessa skärmar är oftast mindre än vad en datorskärm är. Där- för efterfrågas en mer dynamisk design av webbsidor som anpassar sig till storleken på skärmen. Webbsidans statiska design var 1000 pixlar bred och innehöll många tabeller vilket skulle få plats i den dynamiska designen med en minsta bredd på 320 pixlar. En del viktig information behövde även lyftas fram och göras tydligare. Det implementerades en ny CSS-mall samt flera nya JavaScript. En del HTML justerades för att passa den nya CSS-mallen. Eftersom en del viktig information behövdes pre- senteras tydligare skapades en helt ny flik. Innehållet blev driftinformation relaterat till den inloggade kunden. Efter simuleringarna i Chrome verifierades responsivite- ten av sidorna på alla skärmstorlekar. Implementeringen av AJAX gjorde att de lång- samma sidorna svarade direkt, men förbättrade inte den totala laddtiden. För att förbättra den skulle en back-end optimering behöva utföras. Projektets webbsida fu- gerade enligt önskemål.In today ́s society people are working more and more while travelling, which makes them use smartphones and tablets instead of laptops. These screens are usually smaller than a laptop screen. That is why a more dynamic web design has been re- quested in order to fit the screen on the device being used. The static webpage’s width was 1000 pixels and the goal was to fit all the tables and information in the respon- sive version with a width of 320 pixels. Important information also had to be moved to a different page in order to make it more visible. A new CSS-template was imple- mented and several new Java Scripts followed by finer adjustments to the HTML code. Since some information had to be more visible to the user, a new tab was cre- ated in order to fulfill this demand. The new tab contained information about “Net- work Status” only related to the signed in user. After simulating the webpage in Chrome the responsiveness of the page was confirmed on all screen sizes. Sending the webpage asynchronously made the slow pages respond instantly but the total loading time was still slow. To fix this, back-end programming would have been re- quired. The project’s webpage fulfilled all the requirements.

За допомогою додатку можна буде переглядати всі послуги , які доступні для замовлення, їх точну ціну та самостійно зробити замовлення на потрібну дату та час. Результатом роботи є реалізація таких можливостей додатку: - авторизація на сайті - перегляд послуг із доступного переліку; - замовлення до номеру послуг із доступного переліку; - бронювання готельного номеру; Подальший розвиток можливий в сторону розширення функціональних можливостей, покращення інтерфейсу та розробки серверної частини додатку. Робота має практичну цінність. Розрахунок економічної цінності не проводився.

I ett tidigare examensarbete på skolan för informations- och kommunikationsteknik på KTH utvecklades exjobbspoolen, en webbportal skapad med syftet att göra det möjligt för företag att annonsera ut examenarbeten som studenter på ICT-skolan kan söka. Men för att kunna börja använda exjobbspoolen behövdes vissa efterfrågade funktioner utvecklas och befintliga förbättras. För att en mer enhetlig känsla med resten av KTH:s hemsidor skulle uppnås samt att presentationen av sidans innehåll skulle visas på ett effektivare sätt behövdes även webbportalens layout göras om. Den här rapporten tar upp hur systemet har vidareutvecklats och varför valda metoder har använts. Arbetet har gjorts utifrån projektmetoden Feature-Driven Development och är konstruerat i HTML5, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery och har en databas av typen PostgreSQL. Resultatet av projektet är en webbportal som ger möjligheten till företag eller institutioner att förmedla exjobb med önskad formatering. Det examensarbetet kan sedan sökas och bokas av studenter som har identifierats sig via KTHs-inloggningstjänst.In a previous project at the School of Information and Communication Technology at KTH, a web portal called exjobbspoolen was created with the aim of making it possible for companies to advertise graduate jobs that students at the School of ICT could apply for. But in order to start using this webportal some requested featureshad to be developed and some existing improved. For a more consistent feel with the rest of the KTH websites the layout also had to be redone. This report discusses how the system has been developed and why selected methods have been used. The projec have been driven based on Feature Driven Development, and is developed in HTML5, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery and has a PostgreSQL database. The result of the project is a web portal that provides the ability for companies or institutions to submit graduate jobs with the desired formatting. The job can then be searched and booked by students who have been identified via the KTH-login service.

Allt eftersom undervisningsmaterialet utökas med nytt och reviderat material behöver lärarna hjälpa sina studenter att bli motiverade till att lära sig materialet. Genom att använda interaktiva verktyg blir undervisningen mer intressant och gör det enklare att visa komplext material i undervisningen. JavaScript är det mest använda programmeringsspråket på internet och användas för att skapa dynamiska webbsidor. Animationer är en sekvens av bilder som får ett objekt att röra på sig. Denna studies resultat visar på att AnimeJS är det JavaScriptsbibliotek med minst signifikanta skillnader i datan som har utvunnits från mätningar. Studien visar även att JavaScriptsbiblioteken blir påverkade av vilken webbläsare som används, både för att hålla sin fördefinierade animationslängd och för webbläsaren att exekvera animationens funktionen snabbare.

På senare tid har användadet av smartphones blivit allt vanligare och idag har cirka 60% av svenska befolkningen kopplat upp sig mot internet med en smartphone, samtidigt som försäljningen av mobilapplikationer ökar. I strävan efter att nå ut till en större kundkrets söker företag sätt att sprida information via mobilapplikationer. Men då kunderna använder sig av olika typer av enheter krävs plattformspecifika applikationer för att kunna nå ut till alla. Detta för med sig högre kostnader och längre utvecklingstider. En mer kostnads- och tidseffektiv lösning är att göra en hybridapplikation, vilket är en applikation som man kan ladda ner från marknadsplatserna och är skriven i HTML, JavaScript och CSS. Examensarbetet utfördes hos rekryteringsföretaget Skill som verkar inom Data/IT och har därför som mål att ligga i teknikens framkant. Skill hade ett behov av en plattformsoberoende mobilapplikation, där jobbkandidater enkelt skulle kunna ansöka om lediga tjänster. Syftet med denna rapporten är att undersöka möjligheter och brister hos ramverken Phonegap samt jQuery Mobile vid skapandet av en hybridapplikation. Vi har studerat om man med dessa ramverk kan skapa en plattformsoberoende mobilapplikation som känns native, men även om det finns riktlinjer från marknadsplatserna som gör det svårt att göra just detta. Under projektet fick vi bättre insikt i den problematik som kan uppstå vid utveckling av en plattformsoberoende mobilapplikation. Efter att vi analyserat resultatet kom vi fram till att det är möjligt att skapa en applikation som känns native, dock måste avgränsningar göras utifall applikationen skall vara plattformsoberoende.

The purpose of the thesis is to develop the technology of creating a server part of the web resource «Department of Information Technology and Software Engineering» of the Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. The object of research is a web resource as an information and communication tool. The subject of research is the technology of creating a server part of the web resource «Department of Information Technology and Software Engineering» of the . Research methods: theoretical - analysis, comparison, systematization and generalization of scientific literature of domestic and foreign authors, electronic resources to clarify the state of development of the problem of technology for creating a web resource; methods of system analysis for determining the type-typological classification and principles of web resources design; comparative analysis for the selection of software and web resource management system; synthesis for the development of information-conceptual model of the web resource; empirical - testing to analyze the usability of the web resource. Software: PHPSTORM, CMS WordPress. The developed technology of creating web resources can be used by web developers of the server part (back-end developers) as methodical recommendations for creating resources of the corresponding direction. The results of the thesis were covered in the abstracts of international and national conferences.

Метою даної роботи є створення інформаційної системи у вигляді веб- додатку, який дозволяє зручно виставляти оцінки студентам, переглядати їх, підводити підсумки навчання в цілому. Результат розробки представлено у вигляді сукупності програмних документів, наведених у додатках до проекту. Результатом роботи є реалізація таких можливостей додатку: − створення БД будь-якої структури навчального закладу; − вхід до особистого кабінету з функціями обмеженими типом користувача; − створення та контроль різних типів оцінювання, підсумкових таблиць та рейтингів; Програма має сучасний та інтуїтивно зрозумілий інтерфейс, що відображається в браузері та проста в використанні. При створенні програми, було використано середовище розробки PhpStorm, мови програмування PHP та JavaScript, фреймворк Yii2, бібліотека jQuery, стандартна мова розмітки веб-сторінок в Інтернеті HTML, спеціальна мова, що використовується для опису зовнішнього вигляду сторінок CSS та набір інструментів Bootstrap. Для зберігання даних використовується СУБД MySQL. Робота інформаційної системи можлива майже у будь-якій операційній системі та підтримується всіма сучасними браузерами. Подальша розробка додатку можлива в сторону розширення функціоналу, покращення інтерфейсу та реалізації кросс-платформності. Робота має практичну цінність. Розрахунок економічної цінності не проводився.
The object of development is the information computer control system of success in educational institutions. The purpose of this work is to create an information system in the form of a web application that makes it easy to put student ratings, review them, sum up the training as a whole. The result of the development is presented in the form of a set of program documents, provided in the annexes to the project. The result of the work is the implementation of the following application features: - creation of a database of any structure of an educational institution; - access to a private office with functions of a restricted type of user; - creation and control of various types of evaluation, summary tables and ratings; The program has a modern and intuitive interface, which is displayed in a browser and easy to use. When creating a program used PhpStorm development environment, programming language PHP and JavaScript, Yii2 framework, library jQuery, standard markup language web pages on the Internet HTML, special language used to describe the appearance of pages and CSS Bootstrap toolkit. MySQL database is used to store data. The work of the information system is possible almost in any operating system and is supported by all modern browsers. Further development of the application is possible in terms of expanding the functionality, improving the interface and implementing cross-platform. The work has a practical value. The calculation of economic value was not carried out.

Використовуючи сайт можна буде переглянути послуги, які будуть доступні для замовлення, їх ціну та самостійно зробити замовлення на потрібний курс навчання. Результатом роботи є реалізація таких можливостей: - Перегляд списку послуг; - Замовлення доступної послуги; - Відображення дійсних акцій компанії; - Зберігання даних на довготривалий та короткочасний проміжок часу; - Калькулятор для розрахунку власного бюджету; Подальший розвиток можливий в сторону розширення функціональних можливостей, покращення інтерфейсу та серверної частини додатку.
The object of work was a web site, namely customer’s branch for advertisement and purchases of services. Web-site was designed for using in any browsers and on any devises which have access to the Internet. JavaScript and PHP technologies were used for the development; code editor Visual Studio Code was also applied. The purpose of work is creating the web site for advertisement, optimization of working process and increasing customer base. It’ll be possible to subscribe to news mailing, calculate budget, possibility to contact your future teacher for the further consultation. Using site will give you possibility to look through services, which will be available for purchases, their prices and to place the order by your own to get necessary course of studying. The result of work is realization such possibilities as: - Looking through services; - Purchasing available service; - Displaying current actions of company; - Storing records for long-termed and short-termed period of time; - Calculator for accounting your own budget. Further development is possible to the way of functional possibilities, improvement of interface and service part of the application. The essay has practical value. An economical value was not calculated.

Jag kommer i denna uppsats beskriva den designprocess som pågått vid skapandet av en webbaserad informationsplattform från koncept till slutprodukt. Mitt uppdrag har varit att effektivisera en webbyrås nuvarande sätt att hantera och sprida information på, som bestod av en blandning mellan digital och analog information, och skapa en ny webbaserad informationsplattform. Den nya webbaserade informationsplattformen ska kunna samla all information på en plats och skapa ett effektivare informationsutbyte mellan de anställda på företaget. Jag har använt mig av två teoretiska ramverk; Nielsens tio heuristics samt Krugs visuella design hierarki. Jag har arbetat nära beställaren för att kunna skräddarsy webbplatsen till deras behov. Resultatet efter ett omfattande arbete med designmallar och front-end kodning blev grunden för webbyråns webbaserade informationsplattform, utvecklad för att effektivisera spridningen av information på företaget.In this essay I will describe the design process during the creation of a web-based information platform, from concept to final product. My assignment has been to take a web agency’s current way of managing and distributing information, which consisted of a mix between digital and analog information, and create a new web-based information platform. The new web-based information-platforms purpose is to gather all information in one place for easier exchange of information between employees at the company and make it more efficient. I used two theoretical frameworks as a theoretical base working on the project; Nielsen's ten heuristics and Krugs visual design hierarchy. I have worked closely with the client to customize the platform to their needs. The result after extensive work with design templates and front-end coding became the foundation for the web agency’s web-based platform, developed to distribute information more efficiently within the agency.

I detta dokument gestaltas arbetet med att utveckla ett internt administrationssystem till e-handelsföretaget Ehandelssupport. Detta är ett uppdrag i skarpt läge och grundas i företagets behov av att få bättre och mer användaranpassade webbapplikationer som syftar till att underlätta, förenkla och effektivisera vissa frekvent återkommande arbetsuppgifter. Detta innefattar exempelvis en applikation som kan generera prislappar baserat på produktinformation som lagras i webbshoppen Alfahobbys databas. Det inkluderar också en användarvänlig och effektiv lösning för att kunna skapa och skicka ut digitala nyhetsbrev till företagets kunder. Den färdiga applikationen för prislapparna uppfyller de grundönskemål om funktionalitet som företaget hade på denna samtidigt som den nya lösningen medför en rejäl tidseffektivisering i handhavandet med att skapa prislapparna eftersom datat hämtas direkt från databasen via ett nyimplementerat API. Applikationen använder också ramverket jQuery Mobile vilket stödjer responsiv webbdesign. Arbetet med lösningen för de digitala nyhetsbreven resulterade i ett förslag till företaget som innebär att börja använda verktyget Mailigen, detta skulle både förenkla det redaktionella arbetet och förbättra användbarheten för kunderna exempelvis genom att nyhetsbreven får en responsiv webbdesign. Några områden för eventuell framtida vidareutveckling är exempelvis att för applikationen för prislappar lägga till ytterligare kontroller som förhindrar att användaren skriver in fel värden i vissa funktioner. När det gäller nyhetsbreven skulle fortsatt forskning rörande möjligheten att kunna infoga produktinformation direkt från webbshoppens databas vara aktuellt.

The motivation for this work has been to develop a web platform for a game concept where the underlying code acts to enable users to customize their game markers and place orders for them. This report deals with the creation of this website that in itself is not a webstore in classical terms but rather offers a process of it’s own for users to pick the looks of a product, place it in a cart and pay for it. The website communicates with an external payment processor that has been implemented. The process also includes prepatory work and the handeling of graphics and both client and server-side coding. The report covers the programming of the website and speculates in its application of usability standards from evaluating of user tests.Motivationen för detta arbete har varit att ta fram en webbplattform för ett spelkoncept där kodningen ligger till grund för användare att personanpassa sina spelmarkörer och beställa dem. Denna rapport avhandlar skapandet av denna webbsida som i sig skiljer sig från en webbutik i klassisk bemärkelse och istället erbjuder en egen process för att välja utseende på varor, placera dem i en kundkorg och betala för dem. Webbsidan kommunicerar med en extern betalningslösning som är implementerad på sidan. I arbetet ingår förutom förarbete även hanterandet av bildmaterial och både klient- och serverbaserad kodning. Rapporten täcker framtagandet av tekniken för webbsidan och spekulerar i dess anpassning till användarriktlinjer och olika användartyper efter utvärderingar baserade på genomförda tester.

У роботі було використано методи дослідження: аналітичний, програмний, порівняльний метод аналізу. Практичне значення отриманих результатів. Очікується отримати сайт зі зручним інтерфейсом, що реалізує проходження тестів.

The work focuses on the design, development and implementation of a web entertainment portal. The main objective of this work is to create an application that will meet the required functionality using appropriate technologies. Defining the desired functionality as well as the selection of appropriate technology is part of corresponding chapters. As the selected and then used technology was chosen server-side programming language PHP in conjunction with the MySQL database system. The application is a web portal based on Zend framework application that is practical implementation of the MVC architecture. As the client-side programming language was chosen JavaScript, together with a freely available library jQuery that simplifies and streamlines work with the language. The thesis then describes the design data model, which forms the basis for future application. The following chapter describes the structure of each system and relations between them. The conclusion is devoted to consideration of whether the fulfillment of the objectives, benefits and work output.

This expanding market is currently dominated by two operating systems: Android and iOS. Although these two have a big share of the market (91% of the smartphones sales in 2012 were from one of these two systems) is in the programmer interest to develop applications that are compatible with the largest number of devices and operating systems possible. Companies like PT Inovação have great interest in this market and want to have at their disposal the best tools available to develop application that can attract customers. As such, this dissertation is a study, proposed by PT Inovação, of a method for the development of mobile applications, which makes easier to create applications compatible with several devices and systems. The aforementioned method is the development of mobile applications based on web technologies (HTML5, CSS and Javascript). To study this method several mobiles hybrid applications were developed based in applications already developed, by PT Inovação, using native technology. After the development phase, it was made a comparative study between the hybrid and the native applications, to comprehend which ones had better performance, were easier to develop and had more appealing design, for the several elements that constituted the applications. The conclusions of this study are the main result of the dissertation.
O mercado dos smartphones nos últimos anos tem vindo a crescer de forma acentuada e com isso as possibilidades para programadores de dispositivos móveis também aumentaram. Este mercado em expansão, é actualmente dominado por dois Sistemas Operativos: Android e iOS. Embora estes dois tenham uma grande quota do mercado (91% das vendas de smartphones em 2012 foram de um destes dois sistemas) é do interesse de um programador desenvolver aplicações que sejam compatíveis com o maior número de dispositivos e sistemas operativos possíveis. Empresas como a PT Inovação têm portanto grande interesse neste mercado e pretendem ter ao seu dispor as melhores ferramentas possíveis para conseguir desenvolver aplicação capazes de atrair clientes. Como tal esta dissertação partiu de uma proposta da PT Inovação que consiste no estudo de um método de desenvolvimento de aplicações móveis, que torne mais fácil a criação de uma aplicação móvel compatível com vários dispositivos e sistemas. O método referido é o desenvolvimento de aplicações móveis baseadas em tecnologias web (HTML5, CSS3 e JavaScript). Para estudar este método foram desenvolvidas várias aplicações móveis híbridas, que se baseavam em aplicações já desenvolvidas nativamente pela PT Inovação. Após esta fase de desenvolvimento, foi feito um estudo comparativo entre as aplicações híbridas e as aplicações nativas, onde se observou quais apresentavam uma melhor performance, uma maior facilidade desenvolvimento e um design mais apelativo para os vários elementos que constituíam as aplicações. As conclusões deste estudo são o resultado principal da dissertação.

The aim of this master's thesis is design and implementation of traffic information system called Traffic Info. Its role is to provide actual traffic information (for example car accidents, traffic restrictions, reconstruction works on routes etc.) in the area of Slovak and Czech Republic. The system Traffic Info contains a web portal with database of traffic information and a client mobile application for Android platform. This solution provides access to actual traffic information in real time. The geolocation data from internal GPS module of mobile device is used to specify the exact relevant location of traffic information. The traffic information is visually presented on the google maps according to obtained GPS data. Informational value of the system is built by the users of this service, who actively take part in adding traffic information to the system through mobile application or alternatively using the web portal.

Per ognuno di questi verranno descritte le caratteristiche, la storia, i concetti chiavi e i vantaggi. Verranno inoltre mostrate anche alcune applicazioni mobile nate come chiari esempio dell'applicazione dello Smart Tourism. В роботі розглянуто та проаналізовано існуючі шахові сервіси, їх особливос-ті, переваги та недоліки. Для реалізації мети дипломного проекту було обрано Microsoft Visual Studio Code, бібліотеку JQuery, бібліотеку chess.js та компонент chessboard.js. Розроблена система підкріплена інтеграційними тестами, які покри-вають основні модулі сервісу.
A bot was developed for the Chess project on a local computer using JavaScript in order to teach a person to play chess by training to play against the computer, using different levels of complexity of the bot. The paper considers and analyzes the existing chess services, their features, advantages and disadvantages. To achieve the goal of the diploma project, Microsoft Visual Studio Code, JQuery library, chess.js library and chessboard.js component were chosen. The developed system is supported by integration tests, which cover the main modules of the service.

The measuring application was created using integrated development environment Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 and c# programming language. For application to work correctly, it was necessary to create a database model, using MySQL relational database management system. The measuring application can work both with local and remote database server. Web application allows user to see various data including results of racing events or tournaments, data are being fetched from the MySQL database. There was an option to explore existing circuit racing software Vola Timing Circuit – Pro for inspiration.

This thesis describes how positional data gathered from a diving device can be visualized in a regular browser on mobile as well as stationary devices utilizing built-in connections to the GPU with OpenGL. In this work a platform and a visualization prototype are designed, implemented and evaluated. The results show that WebGL is available to most platforms but notably not on devices running iOS. The web browser can be used for implementing advanced functionality but the performance on the handheld devices needs to be improved. The thesis discusses and proposes a design for getting more enjoyment out of diving based on the observations of the implementation and suggests an entertaining social platform for adventures.Detta examensarbete visar hur positionsdata inhämtade med ett dykredskap kan visualiseras i en webbläsare på såväl mobila enheter som på stationära datorer med hjälp av nyttjande av inbyggd koppling till GPU med OpenGL. I detta arbete designas, implementeras och utvärderas en plattform och en visualiseringsprototyp. Resultatet visar att WebGL finns tillgängligt på de flesta plattformarna, men värt att notera inte på enheter som kör iOS. Webläsaren kan användas för att implementera avancerad funktionalitet men prestandan behöver förbättras. Arbetet diskuterar och föreslår en design för att få ut mer glädje av dykupplevelser genom observationer av en implementerad prototyp och föreslår ett engagerande system för socialt samarbete kring äventyrsupplevelser.

The overall purpose of this project is to create a tool that will be able to generate reports for measurements and calculations performed by the Perception system. At present, this is a manual procedure that is both time-consuming, inefficient, and increases the risk of error. Since Perception is developed in C#, the reporting tool will be developed in ASP.NET Core with C# based on the MVC pattern and all data will be stored in Microsoft's SQL server. Transfer of data between systems will be handled by export files that Perception can generate as well as a self-developed import function in the reporting tool. With a few simple settings and options, the operators will be able to generate reports for the selected project and then copy them to the final report. Initial work with design and usability, based on the existing graphic profile, will result in an application that significantly facilitates the work of producing test reports. To make the design appealing, Bootstrap and self-written CSS will be used and to make the user experience as good as possible, JavaScript and AJAX will be used together with jQuery and thus be able to provide relevant information without the need of page reload. Focus will be placed on validating imported data to ensure that correct information is available and stored in the database. To further help the users, relevant messages will show status both in case of problems but also in case of successful procedures.Det övergripande syftet, för detta projekt, är att skapa ett verktyg som ska kunna generera rapporter för mätningar och beräkningar utförda i systemet Perception. I dagsläget är detta ett manuellt förfarande som både är tidskrävande och ineffektivt vilket också ger en ökad risk för felkällor. Eftersom Perception är utvecklat i C# kommer rapportverktyget att utvecklas i ASP.NET Core med C# baserat på MVC-mönstret och all data kommer lagras i Microsofts SQL server. Överföringen av data mellan systemen kommer att ske med hjälp av de exportfiler som Perception kan generera samt en egenutvecklad importfunktion i rapportverktyget. Med några enkla inställningar och val ska operatörerna kunna generera rapporter för valt projekt och sedan kunna kopiera dem till slutrapporten. Ett inledande arbete med design och användbarhet, som grundar sig på den befintlig grafisk profilen, ska mynna ut i en applikation som väsentligt underlätta arbetet med att producera testrapporter. För att göra designen tilltalande kommer Bootstrap och egenskriven CSS att användas och för att användarupplevelsen ska bli så bra som möjligt kommer JavaScript samt AJAX att användas tillsammans med jQuery och på så vis kunna ge relevant information utan att sidan behöver uppdateras. Stort fokus kommer att läggas på kontroller av importerad data för att säkerställa att rätt information finns representerat samt sparas till databasen. The aim of this thesis is the analysis of selected frameworks for the development of modern web applications on the Java platform focusing on the front-end. The work is complemented by well-chosen source code examples that help the reader to create one's own view of the frameworks and it can also server as a tutorial. Introductory section focuses on the trends of modern web applications, especially on the front-end. It affects themes such as support for mobile devices, AJAX or responsive design of user interface. There are also introduced the latest technology on the front-end including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery library and dynamic language LESS whose main objective is the simplification, shortening and making cascading style sheets more dynamic. The output of this section: General LESS template is freely available and it can be applied to emerging projects. For the analysis there has been created static registration form on which there are applied frameworks Apache Wicket and Spring MVC with template engine Freemarker. In terms of analysis were chosen following points: the basic structure of the project, the application of static templates, external JavaScript / jQuery library, internalization, application of the form, submitting the form and validation of the input fields. The points were discussed in detail, especially in terms of implementation of both analysed frameworks. The outputs of the analysis are freely available structures of the projects and both of the resulting applications.

The goal of this application is to simplify the work of theses supervisors. The application provides supervisors with overview of students' activity by weekly reports. It allows students to cooperate and share information and motivation. The main reasons for creating a new implementation were improvement and extension of functionality and improvement of user interface and user experience. Results of testing show that all the above-mentioned changes were successful. Users are more satisfied, especially with the user interface.

This paper concerns design and implementation of a system which provides easier control of digital image processing console applications. The work is based on threes information technology domains: distributed systems, image processing and web technologies. The system consist of number of separated components communicating with each other in order of processing desired tasks. Control interface and the task daemon are implemented in PHP language. Image processing programs are implemented in C language using OpenCV graphic library. Control of the system is carried out through web graphical interface using dynamic control components implemented in Javascript language, jQuery library and jQueryUI interface. Part of the work is also a description of employment of the system in practical use in two environments, experiments concerning system performance and web interface user acceptance testing.

Social networks are commonly seen as a global trend that allows users to search and
contact others with similar interests, write a post, reply, like or share content, create
groups and organize events. This said, there is much more that can be done to exploit
the full potential of social media. In order to improve the business, providing
employees, customers and partners the best tools to cooperate and gain value from
the whole community, many organizations are taking the matter in their own hands,
using Enterprise Social Networks. Close analysis of case studies and comprehensive
statistics shows why it is important to pursue this path. At CERN, the European
Organization for Nuclear Research, where the number of employees, students and
volunteers that everyday work in partnership both on site and through the network
reaches the thousands, a new kind of platform has been deployed, able to exploit the
social knowledge of the personnel. The thesis will describe the case study of CERN
to understand not only why it is essential to become a social organization but also how
a social environment can be developed. The last chapters will focus on examining my
work on the platform, considering a mobile responsive design, realized to make the
environment adapt to any screen size, an integrated resource planning tool, which
gives the scientists the mean to easily manage the everyday work on the particle
accelerators, and the platform’s Application Programming Interface, which allows
anyone with the right credentials to include content from the enterprise social network
into a personal or departmental webpage, giving everyone an even easier way to
participate.

JavaScript is a dynamic language which is increasingly used by developers to create interactive web applications. It is an interpreted, dynamic and object-oriented language with first-class functions, and is often used together with other web languages such as HTML and CSS at runtime. These combined characteristics, however, complicate the design of smell-free exception handling, which is aimed at avoiding unexpected errors in execution. Therefore, improving the exception handling design is very important for a JavaScript web application to be more robust. The objective of this research is to identify exception handling bad smells in JavaScript and propose the corresponding refactoring for their removal. The effect of applying refactoring to remove the smells in JavaScript web applications is discussed in terms of robustness, readability and maintainability. An analysis on the similarity and difference in EH smells between Java and JavaScript is also provided.

Метою роботи є розробка комерційного веб-сайту на основі сучасних інструментів веб-програмування та веб-дизайну для задоволення потреб користувачів у пошуку, замовленні та купівлі електронних товарів.
У першому розділі кваліфікаційної роботи проводиться аналіз предметної області, проводиться огляд засобів розробки. Матеріал першого розділу допомагає знайти відповідні веб-інструменти для створення сучасного комерційного сайту, що задовольняє вимоги користувачів.
У другому розділі кваліфікаційної роботи представлено вимоги користувачів до веб-сайту, розглянуто процес проектування, включаючи дизайн бази даних та дизайн інтерфейсу користувача. Також проаналізовано динамічний контент.
У розділі «Охорона праці та безпека життєдіяльності» визначено основні психологічні фактори ризику, що призводять до нещасних випадків, розглянуто вимоги ергономіки до організації робочого місця оператора ПК.
Qualifying paper is dedicated to design and development of the commercial website to use for selling the electronic goods.
The goal of the paper is to develop a commercial website based on modern web programming and web design tools to meet the needs of users to search, order and purchase electronic goods.
In the first section of the qualification work the analysis of the subject area is performed, the review of development tools is carried out. The material of the first section helps to find the proper web tools to create modern commercial website satisfying the users requirements.

In recent years, the technologies of web development evolve dramatically. Interaction with users is now an essential feature on every web page. Due to this circumstance, development of a web page is getting more and more complicated, usually involving thousands or even tens of thousands JavaScript code. It is hard for web front-end developers to find out possible errors from thousands of code, once there are some unexpected behaviors of HTML elements triggered by JavaScript on web page. In this thesis, we develop a Chrome Extension. We use this extension to parse all JavaScript code on web page into an Abstract Syntax Tree (AST). With the AST, we use our own parsers to parse the AST to simulate the behaviors of original web page, and we record information of JavaScript code (including file the code located in, location of the code in file, and the code text), which using DOM or jQuery API, grouped by HTML elements on web page while simulating. With the Chrome Extension this thesis developed, it becomes more efficient for web front-end developer to track the JavaScript code on web page. Web front-end developers is needless to search all JavaScript code on web page anymore. Instead, they can select specific HTML elements on page to get information of JavaScript code only related to the unexpected behaviors of web page.

В другому розділі кваліфікаційної роботи проведено моделювання архітектури веб-застосунку та проєктування бази даних “NeoTech”. Крім цього проведено проєктування та практичну реалізацію структури як окремих функціональних компонентів так і структури розроблюваного веб-застосунку.

Diploma thesis deals with the analysis, design and implementation of an application that allows users to search the auction results of companies that organize auctions. This work describes two mutually independent parts of application -- the extracting robot and the search engine. Extracting robot takes care of automatic extraction of auction results from Web pages based on user-created extracting template. Automation of the extraction process is achieved by analyzing the Web links using Bayes classifier and use of automatic detection of the auction items. Second part of the application is used to search the extracted auction results. Search results will help users to determine the financial value of collectibles and investments items (coins, medals and banknotes).
