According to CCC, a project by Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and the University of Connecticut, pro‐Palestine protests nationwide during the spring semester totaled 3,220, while the fall 2024 semester recorded 1,151 pro‐Palestine protests.

 Apart from its negative literary connotations, the notion of adaptation generally carries an optimistic connotation in the sense that it is most often associated with an improved outcome in the face of challenging circumstances.
