Abstract:
Résumé Le Québec compte la plus haute proportion de couples vivant en union de fait au monde. Pourtant, contrairement aux autres provinces canadiennes, les conjoints de fait défavorisés ne bénéficient d’aucune protection législative en matière alimentaire et patrimoniale en cas de rupture. L’auteure critique la récente décision de la Cour supérieure Droit de la famille — 091768, qui maintient cet état du droit. La Cour a jugé que le traitement législatif différencié entre les couples mariés et ceux en union de fait, qui exclut ces derniers des protections prévues au Code civil en cas de rupture, n’est pas discriminatoire pour les conjoints de fait au sens de l’article 15(1) de la Charte canadienne des droits et libertés. La chronique de l’auteure s’inscrit dans un cadre théorique féministe qui dénonce les rapports sociaux de sexe et la position d’inégalité des femmes dans la société. Ainsi, elle rejette le postulat de l’arrêt Walsh voulant que la Cour doive respecter la liberté de choix des couples mariés et non mariés. L’auteure croit que la juge Hallée aurait dû prendre connaissance d’office des travaux de recherche sur la pauvreté des familles monoparentales dirigées par des femmes, qui démontrent les effets néfastes du traitement législatif différencié envers les couples non mariés. La distinction qu’établit la juge Hallée entre les fonctions judiciaires et législatives pour éviter d’intervenir, au nom du respect de la diversité et de la liberté de choix, ne fait qu’alimenter une fausse distinction entre la sphère privée et la sphère publique. L’auteure rappelle que l’État impose le partage du patrimoine familial aux couples mariés et qu’il intervient aussi dans la vie des ex-conjointes de fait qui ont besoin d’aide sociale à la suite de leur rupture conjugale. L’auteure espère que la Cour d’appel sera moins frileuse dans son interprétation du Code civil, afin que le droit reflète véritablement la réalité sociale d’une proportion importante de la population adulte du Québec.

Abstract:
The Jonglei Canal Project should be weighed against its socio-economic impacts as well as environmental considerations. If taken in a short- or long-term cost-benefit perspective, the Project we think is a justified undertaking.One might argue: ‘let everything well alone; change is another word for disaster’. We are not contending that the Jonglei Canal Project, if duly completed, would not bring about a new mode of life for both Man and domestic and other animals. We are contending that the new mode will be a more satisfactory on than that which exists at present. Sudan aims at the transformation of traditional communities to better social and economic horizons, and not the intentional destruction of the traditional way of life. Many overlook the fact that the Nilotes are already changing, and that it is beyond the powers of the political and social systems to confine them to the past.Nevertheless there are indications that ecologists and environmentalists are far from agreed among themselves as to whether the Jonglei canal is, on balance, a good or a bad idea. But in any case we would like to stress in conclusion that the Jonglei Canal Project is being executed at a relatively fortunate time in Man's history of awareness of the way in which he should be using his natural resources.

Les recherches présentées dans cette thèse traitent de la perception du jonglage et des jongleurs en adoptant des approches étiologique, hexéologique et praxéologique du domaine de l’anthropomotricité. La première partie de ce travail analyse l’ambiguïté biologique-physique du contrôle moteur lors de la réalisation d’une technique de jonglage spécifique. La seconde partie s’intéresse aux habitudes des jongleurs, leur identité étant confinée aux manipulateurs d’objets alors que chaque individu a une logique de pratique propre. La troisième partie propose d’explorer les origines du jonglage Européen au travers d’une expression familière, Enfant de la Balle devenant une identité méta-symbolique. Cette recherche exploite un panel important de disciplines, propose des résultats significatifs pour chacune d’entre-elles et tend vers une vision transdisciplinaire des relations entre l’homme et son environnement
The researches reported in this broadly conceived thesis focuses on the perception of juggling and jugglers by following etiological, hexeological and praxeological approaches belonging to the field of anthropomotricity. The first part of this research examines the biological-physical ambiguity of motor control when juggling a basic pattern to The second part focuses on jugglers habits, their identity being now restricted to object manipulators whereas they have their own logic of activity. The third part traces the historical roots of European juggling by exploring an expression attached to them, Enfant de la Balle becoming a metasymbolic identity. The thesis as a whole thus covers a broad range of topics and presents several results that are meaningful within disciplines as well as across the disciplines to which they refer and leads to a transdisiplinary vision of the relationship between man and his environment

Abstract:
On s'intéresse à deux classes de chaînes de Markov combinatoires. On commence avec les chaînes de Markov de Jonglage, inspirées du modèle de jonglage introduit par Warrington, pour lesquelles on définit des généralisations multivariées des modèles existants. On en calcule les mesures stationnaires et les facteurs de normalisation que l'on exprime par des formules explicites. On s'intéresse également au cas limite où la hauteur maximale à laquelle le jongleur peut lancer ses balles tend vers l'infini. On propose alors une reformulation de la chaîne de Markov en termes de partitions d'entiers, ce qui permet aussi de définir un modèle où le jongleur manipule une infinité de balles. Les preuves sont obtenues en utilisant une chaîne enrichie sur les partitions d'ensembles. On exhibe également, pour l'un des modèles, une propriété de convergence ultrarapide : la mesure stationnaire y est atteinte en un nombre fini d'étapes. Dans le Chapitre suivant, on s'intéresse à des généralisations multivariées de ces modèles : on considère cette fois un jongleur manipulant des balles de différents poids, et lorsqu'une balle entre en collision avec une balle plus légère, cette dernière est éjectée vers le haut, pouvant à son tour en heurter une autre plus légère, jusqu'à ce qu'une balle atteigne l'emplacement le plus élevé. On donnera ici encore une formule explicite pour les mesures stationnaires et les facteurs de normalisation. Dans le dernier Chapitre, on s'intéresse cette fois au modèle du tas de sable stochastique, pour lequel on démontre une conjecture posée par Selig, selon laquelle la mesure stationnaire ne dépend pas de la loi d'ajout des grains de sable
We consider two types of combinatoric Markov chains. We start with Juggling Markov chains, inspired from Warrington's model. We define multivariate generalizations of the existing models, for which we give stationary mesures and normalization factors with closed-form expressions. We also investigate the case where the maximum height at which the juggler may send balls tends to infinity. We then reformulate the Markov chain in terms of integer partitions, which allows us to consider the case where the juggler interacts with infinitely many balls. Our proofs are obtained through an enriched Markov chain on set partitions. We also show that one of the models has the ultrafast convergence property : the stationary mesure is reached after a finite number of steps. In the following Chapter, we consider multivariate generalizations of those models : the juggler now juggles with balls of different weights, and when a heavy ball collides with a lighter one, this light ball is bumped to a higher position, where it might collide with a lighter one, until a ball reaches the highest position. We give closed-form expressions for the stationary mesures and the normalization factors. The last Chapter is dedicated to the stochastic sandpile model, for which we give a proof for a conjecture set by Selig : the stationary mesure does not depend on the law governing sand grains additions

L'analyse des seances de hamadani est inspiree par le peu d'etudes qui existent sur ce genre litteraire, qui, a notre avis, n'a pas encore recu toute l'atten tion qu'il merite. Ecrivain original, hamadani compte parmi les plus savants de son temps; ses preoccupations sont de reflechir a l'esthetique, de plaire au public, d'utiliser les techniques les plusdiverses en composant des exercices de style et de langue, en jonglant avec les tons et le verbe. Cet essai s'inscrit dans l'etude des composants de la virtuosite litteraire d'al-hamadani que nous qualifions de "jongleries verbales". Celles-ci se manifestent a des niveaux divers de la langue arabe, en particulier dans le langage mis en oeuvre, dans les registres du discours et dans les types textuels exploites par l'auteur. Malgre son extreme variete, les seances obeissent a une preoccupation qui suffirait a la distinguer et a la singulariser, celle d'interesser par la beaute de son style rythme et rime autant que par le choix des sujets. L'art du rytme et de la rime represente l'une des formes les plus attachantes des seances; concu pour un cadre large et varie, faisant appel a des moyens d'expression divers, il exige une grande concentration de la substance musicale et de son pouvoir expressif. L'analyse se propose donc de degager l'essentiel du parallelisme d'exposer a la fois ses origines, les principaux problemes esthetiques. .
The few critical studies devoted to the literary genre called "seance" are undoutedly the principal "raison d'etre" of this analytical study on hamadani"s "seances" which have not received yet the attention they deserve. Among the most inspired writers of his times, hamadani is interested in aesthe tics and the use of diverse tehniques related to style and language, in juggleries with tones and verbs, an art which hamadani masters with virtuosity. In spite of its extreme variety, the literary genre called "seance" has a preoccupation of its own embodied in the beauty of its style and the nature of its subjects matters. Parallelisme is one particular form of the "seances". The objective of the study is to look al its origines, its major techniques and features in our writer's works

Abstract:
This report investigates the rural inter-communal conflict as a threat to community livelihood in Jonglei State, one of the ten states in South Sudan. Jonglei State has a long history of unrest, which has also affected other parts of the country. Cattle raiding and conflict have manifested in Jonglei State and the surrounding communities for many years. Many people have lost their lives, and livestock losses have been abundant. It is vital that local government understands and contextualises these challenges so that appropriate interventions may be developed. This study proposes to provide a brief historical background on the evolution of inter-communal conflict in Jonglei. There have been recent changes in the security situation and increased access to weapons. Advanced weaponry has also led to a rise in insecurity and increases in the number and scale of cattle raids. Political tensions and political instability have also emerged. The political situation is unstable and political factions are in constant disagreement. Furthermore, there are limited economic opportunities there is also limited access to natural resources such as water and grazing land for cattle. Climate conditions and migration patterns are also discussed and explained. The cross sectional descriptive survey was used in this study. Various recommendations flowing from the results of the study are proposed in the final chapter. If adopted, these recommendations could enable the Government of South Sudan and the residents of Jonglei to overcome inter-communal conflict.

Abstract:
I den här uppsatsen görs en kvalitativ samtalsanalytisk analys av sammanlagt åtta narrativer. Dessa är hämtade ur intervjuer med en lärare och en elev vid Cirkus Cirkörs dåvarande utbildning Cirkuspiloterna - en internationell utbildning där lärare och elever ofta inte hade ett gemensamt språk att mötas i. Syftet med analysen är att synliggöra likheter och skillnader mellan hur läraren och eleven berättar berättelser om händelser som har att göra med den språkliga situationen på skolan - vilken funktion berättelserna har i respektive intervju, samt vilka attityder till språksituationen som speglas i narrativerna. Analysen visar att läraren, till skillnad från eleven, verkar ha en färdig berättelserepertoar och att berättelserna fungerar som exempel i lärarens argumentation. För eleven verkar istället berättelserna utgöra en resurs att resonera sig fram till svar på intervjufrågorna, och elevens berättelser ger ett intryck av att födas i ögonblicket snarare än att vara en del av ett etablerat berättande. Både lärarens och elevens narrativ genomsyras av tydligt positiva attityder till språksituationen på skolan, men analysen visar en mer medveten och aktiv uppskattning från lärarens sida.

Abstract:
Syfte: Syftet med studien är att genom begreppen styrprocess, styrverktyg och styrmått försöka skapa en förståelse för hur styrningen skiljer sig åt mellan Nordea och Handelsbanken för att identifiera eventuella skillnader mellan bankerna.   Metod: Denna studie har ett hermeneutiskt inslag och genomförs med hjälp av en kvalitativ arbetsmetod samt en abduktiv ansats. Det empiriska materialet har samlats in med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer från två banker, Nordea och Handelsbanken.   Slutsats: Intervjupersonerna har haft olika åsikter av hur styrningen påverkar respektive bank, utifrån deras olika befattningar och erfarenheter inom området. Som helhet har det framkommit att Nordea och Handelsbanken skiljer sig på ett flertal punkter. Nordea är värdeorienterad i sin styrning och arbetar med helhetstänkande samt med budget medan Handelsbanken är kostnadsorienterad och arbetar med delmål samt med målstyrning främst. Överlag sammanfattas styrningen som en form av jonglering. Det är omöjligt att leverera på alla mål samtidigt men det gäller att hela tiden hålla alla bollar i luften.

La Méditerranée, « mer blanche » ou mare nostrum, constitue, au regard de l’héritage culturel et des valeurs qu’elle a légués et des liens tissés avec ses habitants, un thème d’étude littéraire au grand potentiel pédagogique, un authentique trésor que nous nous devons d’exploiter en classe de FLE ou de FLM. Nous proposerons au travers de cette communication une nouvelle approche qui permette l’étude de la littérature par projets (unités d’action) comme préconise le CECRL et les programmes d’éducation secondaire européens en prenant comme exemple le motif de la Méditerranée. Il s’agit là de tâcher de couvrir le vide méthodologique sur le sujet signalé par plusieurs didacticiens du FLE. Évidemment, notre proposition didactique n’élude pas tous les travaux réalisés jusque là en didactique de la littérature mais essaie d’adapter la perspective actionnelle à l’étude de la littérature. L’objectif du projet peut revêtir plusieurs formes mais doit, selon nous, provenir d’un métier du monde littéraire (auteur, éditeur, conférencier, etc.) pour que la classe réalise une action qui soit le plus proche possible de celle de l’acteur réel. Avec un accent constructiviste, une approche comparatiste et une logique de contagion, cette méthodologie d’étude de la littérature par projets s’organise en huit phases bien définies que nous expliciterons dans notre présentation. Cette approche nécessite des enseignants compétents et expérimentés, capables de gérer et de « jongler » entre théorie et pratique et de concilier rigidité et flexibilité et savoir anticiper. Même si les élèves travaillent en autonomie et en liberté, certains contenus doivent être abordés. Les étudiants moins motivés ou un peu désorientés pourront être conseillés par le professeur qui leur suggérera des motifs comme la sirène, le dionysiaque, l’olivier, le soleil, la figure matriarcale, etc. L’objectif pédagogique de cette séquence est d’étayer ou infirmer l’affirmation d’Edgard Morin selon laquelle la méditerranée correspond à une « réalité poétique et mythologique » ou celle de Paul Valéry pour qui « la Méditerranée est une machine à faire de la civilisation ».DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.4995/XXVColloqueAFUE.2016.2972

Abstract:
This briefing presents research undertaken in the midst of a critical food insecurity crisis in Pibor and Akobo counties in order to understand its impact on the lives of women and girls. The research found that women and girls’ household chores, their livelihood opportunities and their access to education have all been impacted. It also found serious risks to their safety and health, and that they have limited coping mechanisms to deal with the crisis. The report highlights what the humanitarian community should do to ensure a gender-sensitive response to these pressing needs.
