Abstract:
Japanese has a different form of conversational skills from other languages in the world, namely the Danseigo language variety and the Joseigo language variety. Danseigo is a language variety that is often used by men in Japan when communicating. Danseigo is a male language that tends to be rude and informal. Danseigo is rarely found during formal events. Usually men use standard Japanese or use keigo if the other person is a respectable person. The formulation of the problem in this study is what is the meaning and function of shuujoshi in danseigo found in the Doraemon comic volume 3? The purpose of this research is to find out the meaning and function of shuujoshi in danseigo found in Doraemon comic volume 3. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The source of data used in the analysis of this research is a written source, namely the comic "Doraemon volume 3". In this comic, a form of conversation is found that uses a variety of languages and seigo. In addition, the use of shuujoshi (sound at the end of sentences) (~sa, ~kana/na, ~yo, ~ze, ~zo) and the use of ninshou daimeishi (boku, kimi, omae, aitsu, soitsu) were also found. This is because the comic characters are dominated by boys. Therefore, the use of danseigo is found in the Doraemon comic Volume 3.

Abstract:
Satō Haruo’s “Okāsan” (“Mother”) is a story that was published in Josei (Woman) magazine in October 1926. The plot follows “I” as he listens to the words of the parrot he bought from the pet store and deduces and fantasizes freely about her previous home. In this paper, I spotlight the fact that the home that “I” envisions through the voice of the parrot, Laura, corresponds to the family image that was being presented concurrently in Josei magazine and showcased that the ideal family was simply nothing more than an ideal. In relativizing Josei’s familial discourse, and in this relationship between the published magazine and the story, I argue for the latter’s importance.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The aim of this research is to discuss the comprehension of Judaism that the historian Flavius Josephus developed in his books Bellum Judaicum, Antiquitates Judaicae, Vita e Contra Apionem. By means of a few evaluations about the Jewish- Palestinian society of the 1st century AD and through the complex relations between History and Memory, the intention is to analyze Josephus and his work within the scenes that accentuate the complex and dynamic literary attempts of reconstruction and consolation experienced by Jewish reflections after the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem in 70 AD.

Abstract:
The spanish cinema has always granted a significant place to the child: before the spanish civil war (alexia ventura, alfredo hurtado "pitusin" etc. ) and especially during francoism when he became a leading figure within a few years (particulary pablito calvo). This prominence goes along with a progressive change of this image: firstly a franco era child, then a child as an object, the character plays a central part in the narratives thanks to neo-realism and the church. Joselito "the child with a golden voice", the first singer-boy of the spanish after-civil war era appeared in this context. Starring in fourteen films between 1956 and 1968 he became an international glory before falling into oblivion. A gradual decline, his voice breaking and the emergence of new children singers were to get the better of the star. Both a narratological and semiotic approach enables to bring out the main structures of a homogeneous and evolutive corpus. From a first transition-work which owes a lot to post-civil war cinema, we move towards films which make ample use of joselito's vocal skills, then towards other films which try to turn the child into an actor. This evolution will give prominence to the extreme tensions between the star, the singer and the actor and thus the films were an opportunity for an attempt to

This thesis aims at investigating how Portuguese Law in the end of Ancient Regime was related to the modern doctrines of Natural Law and to the Enlightened Absolutism of the second half of the eighteenth century. Besides specific literature on the subject, in which are included writings of that time, collections of Statutes and judicial decisions were largely used. At the beginning of this work, the main purpose was introducing the Portuguese political, economic, cultural and juridical context and then showing the philosophical changes of the concept of Natural Law on the works of Hugo Grotius and Samuel von Pufendorf and the emergence of the usus modernus pandectarum. This is important to clarify that, during the kingship of Joseph I and the government of Marquis of Pombal (1750-1777), Law was a fundamental instrument to grant the desire for changing and modernization of Portuguese Crown: it made the King the only source of law-making, which consolidated his power. In order to regulate the use of Roman Law, some powers were granted to the Casa da Suplicação, the most important Royal Court at the moment. The reception of Natural Law by legislation, doctrine and by institutions such as the University and the Casa da Suplicação helped the diffusion of liberal ideas in the end of 18th century, which had the same origins of the Enlightened Absolutism: the modern theories of Natural Law. Thus, the reforms in the Ancient Regime in its last decades contributed to its end, and the Law, mainly Natural Law, had a fundamental importance at this context.

We will discuss about the representations of Flavius Josephus from his autobiographical work Vita, and how it has defined and consolidated the perception of self representation of the author. The historical context in which it belonged should be considered. It is about to observe the Judean environment that preceded the Jewish Revolt marked by social, economic and political conflicts, as these were crucial for that the clash between Romans and Jews occurred. Therefore, we noted the surge of the Jewish Revolt, and also the participation of Josephus at that war. In this sense, Josephus experiences in the Revolt are recurrent due to own unfolding of the conflict as he experienced the different sides of the war and witnessed the Roman victory beside them. This way, we will consider the relevance of Josephus' Vita as it was a work that approached the Revolt in a personal perspective, and from it, his memories were highlighted in a constructive process of narrative argumentations, making them the key elements in the very representation of Josephus' impressions. We understand how Josephus' autobiographical speech expresses his own demands of his contemporary, from the relation between narrative, memory, representation and identity.

In this paper, we presents a didactic sequence of activities designed for a group of students of high school, their age were about 15 and 18 years old, with the main objective to study the problem proposed by the mathematician Flávio Josefo, in mid-year 64. The legend tells that a group of rebels, including Flávio Josefo, was trapped in a cave by the enemy army. Preferring the suicide to capture, the rebels decided to form a circle and, counting over this, to kill each third person of the rest of the group. Josefo was contrary of this suicide pact therefore, together with a friend, calculated very quickly the appropriated positions that both should take in this circle in order to get out of this terrible situation. To understand this solution, we propose, at the first moment, a review about the numerical sequences, including the special cases of arithmetic and geometric. Then, we introduce some notions about the de recurrence relations and the Principle of Mathematical Induction, allowing a generalization of concepts and results already known intuitively by the student group.

From 6th Century on, Arabic historiography was witnessing the emerging of Arabs inasmuch their dominion was increasing. The first Arabic universal histories were born due to the need of legitimating Islam as universal true faith; in this meantime, historiography was a tributary of religious exegesis. Notwithstanding, the Arabs was becoming interested in knowing about the subjugated people around Near East, North Africa and Spain; this cultural cauldron emerged by confluence between Islamic, Jewish and Christian contributed to the Arabs to more keen on the histories about other people. Josippon appeared translated into Arabic for the first time at the end of 10th Century in Yemen, and then it started to travel beyond Near East, North Africa and finally came to Iberian Peninsula. Christian and Muslim historians looked to Josippon as their chief historical reference after the Old Testament, but Ibn Khaldun used him in his historical logic about the history of Children of Israel.
