Abstract:
Abstract. Jurassic (Bathonian–Oxfordian) planktic foraminifera from the epicontinental strata of the Polish Basin have been investigated. The palaeoecology, palaeobiogeography, and biostratigraphical potential of the recorded taxa are discussed. Four species are recorded: Conoglobigerina helvetojurassica (Haeusler, 1881), Globuligerina balakhmatovae (Morozova, 1961), G. bathoniana (Pazdrowa, 1969), and G. oxfordiana (Grigelis, 1958). This assemblage is probably the most diverse of those described to date from the epicontinental areas of Europe. The recorded taxa are thought to represent three

AbstractWe document and quantify one of the oldest predator–prey interactions between naticid gastropods and molluscan prey, on the basis of drill holes in shells, from the Late Jurassic (Oxfordian) beds of Kutch, western India. Previously, many workers recorded naticid-like drill holes on prey taxa from the Triassic and the Jurassic, but in the absence of associated naticid body fossils, they remained equivocal. The present gastropod community is dominated by turritellines (98% of the sample) that form the turritelline-dominated assemblage, and the naticid drilling predation is restricted almo

Abstract:
The coal accumulation effect occurred at KuBai Coalfield in the early~middle Jurassic, including three major coal-bearing strata: Tarja Chick and Yangxia Group of Early Jurassic, and Kezilenuer group of Middle Jurassic. This article makes the contrast segment of 20 tie-well sequence strata by dividing the sequence strata and analyzing the depositional environment analysis of 85 drilling wells at Jurassic strata of KuBai Basin. By overall analyzing the materials of drilling, logging, outcropping, core and paleontology, it establishes the contrast framework of isochronal sequence strata with the
