Abstract:
Islam places great emphasis on good forms of communication in line with the purpose of Muslim life which plays a role in conveying da’wah. In this regard, communication skills that focus on the use of the proverb and parable versus of the Qur’an should be used as a method in teaching nd learning as a mechanisme that is able to build the personality and manners of students of higher learning institutions. Therefore, this writing aims to identify the relationship between sentences in the form of proverbs and parables with communication skills in teaching and learning. Thus, this researched method is qualitatively in the form of a library study that focuses on relevant past references. The data obtained will be analyzed content in explaining the objective. Research has found that figurative and satirical language style methods have a positive impact on students. It also stimulates students to ask questions and give feedback. In conclusion, the proverbial verses in the Qur’an in the form of this parable encourage good two-way communication between educators and students. Islam amat memberi penekanan terhadap bentuk komunikasi yang baik sejajar dengan tujuan hidup Muslim yang berperanan dalam menyampaikan dakwah. Sehubungan dengan itu, kemahiran komunikasi yang memfokuskan kepada penggunaan ayat amsal Al- Qur’an perlu dijadikan sebagai kaedah dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran sebagai mekanisme yang berupaya dalam membina sahsiah dan adab para pelajar institusi pengajian tinggi. Oleh itu, penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti hubungkait antara ayat-ayat yang berbentuk amsal dan perumpamaan dengan kemahiran komunikasi dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Justeru, kaedah kajian ini adalah secara kualitatif berbentuk kajian perpustakaan yang menumpukan kepada rujukan-rujukan lepas yang berkaitan. Data-data yang diperolehi akan dianlisis secara kandungan dalam menjelaskan objektif tersebut. Penelitian mendapati kaedah gaya bahasa kiasan dan sindiran memberi impak yang positif di kalangan pelajar. Ia juga merangsang para pelajar untuk bertanya dan memberi pandangan. Konklusinya, ayat-ayat amsal dalam Al-Qur’an berbentuk perumpamaan ini menggalakkan komunikasi dua hala yang baik antara pendidik dan pelajar.

Abstract:
The article assesses the role of folklore in the form of verbal, ritual and material objects as a means of customary dispute prevention, transformation and resolution in selected ethnic groups in Ethiopia. Samples of oral narratives in the form of proverbs, myths and legends from the Amhara, Tigray, Oromo and Issa linguistic groups are found to have cohesive functions that reiterate harmony among the respective communities and individuals prior to conflicts; conciliatory and mediatory functions during inter-ethnic and intra-ethnic or personal conflicts; and lastly, compensatory functions after conflicts. The familiarity of the content in the narratives and the beauty of the language of the mediators, usually the elders, transform the state of enmity into the state of tolerance and recompense. The pre-reconciliation, reconciliation and post-reconciliation rituals usually accompanied by animal sacrifice, as well as the venues of the rituals (usually river banks and under trees), create a local colour that foreground a feeling of exoneration, absolution, communalism as well as commitment to discontinue blood feuds. The material objects mostly used during the reconciliation rituals, such as Tabots, crosses and other relics of the Orthodox Church, Kalacha, boku, Chachu, Siniqee and Hanfala of the Oromo have a frightening effect on the people who want to redress damages by force. The widest usage of folkloric elements for conflict prevention, resolution and transformation is found to have a consoling and therapeutic effect on the material and psychological dimensions of conflict. On the other hand, it is suggested that concerned bodies should preserve and make use of such rich folkloric heritage that conform with the constitution of the country and international human right conventions.

Abstract:
Abstract Education is an important element in human capital development and individual economic survival. One of the poverty factor in which people are failing to get proper education. As an institution that manages funds for charity, Baitulmal, Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP) seeks to ensure that development can be achieved so that recipients are able to remove themselves from proverty. Questioned arise about the role played by Baitulmal MAIWP in an effort to improve the living standards of recipients through education and schemes are offered to the recipients in order to achieve those objectives. Therefore, this study was undertaken to identify the schemes prepared by the Baitulmal MAIWP within the framework of the development of education in the Federal Territory as well as view and evaluate such schemes have either been fulfilled or complete all the elements required by recipients to ensure the success and development of their education at the same time propose a new scheme that may be considered. Research methodology in this study is a qualitative study, which is documented using deductive and inductive refered to manuals and zakat’s report. The study found that Baitulmal MAIWP has implemented various initiatives in offering assistance to recipients through schemes such as educational aid for institutions of higher education phase, general scholarships for outstanding students of special incentives and others. However, the study found that there is an area for improvements and propose a new form of distribution to the recipients to set up an educational institution that is fully funded through zakat funds to prevent dropout of education among the recipients. It is expected that this study can give the impression of a new form of zakat management. Follow-up studies should be conducted primarily to identify the constraints or problems that may be encountered in the success of the establishment of the recipients of this education institution. Salah satu faktor kemiskinan yang melanda masyarakat adalah kerana gagal mendapatkan pendidikan yang sempurna. Sebagai sebuah institusi yang menguruskan dana zakat, Baitulmal, Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP) berusaha untuk memastikan pembangunan asnaf dapat dicapai sehingga mampu mengeluarkan diri mereka daripada kepompong kemiskinan. Timbul persoalan mengenai peranan yang dimainkan oleh Baitulmal MAIWP dalam usaha mempertingkat taraf hidup asnaf melalui aspek pendidikan dan skim-skim yang ditawarkan kepada asnaf bagi mencapai tujuan tersebut. Justeru, kajian ini dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti bentuk skim-skim agihan yang disediakan oleh Baitulmal MAIWP dalam rangka pembangunan pendidikan di Wilayah Persekutuan di samping melihat dan menilai skim-skim tersebut sama ada telah menepati atau melengkapi kesemua elemen yang diperlukan oleh asnaf bagi menjamin keberhasilan dan perkembangan pendidikan mereka sekali gus mencadangkan sebuah skim baharu yang boleh dipertimbangkan. Metodologi penyelidikan dalam kajian ini adalah secara kualitatif yang merupakan kajian dokumentasi yang menggunakan kaedah deduktif dan induktif dengan merujuk manual dan laporan zakat. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa Baitulmal MAIWP telah pun melaksanakan pelbagai inisiatif dalam menawarkan bantuan kepada asnaf melalui skim-skim bantuan seperti bantuan am pelajaran IPT, bantuan am biasiswa insentif khas pelajar cemerlang, bantuan am persekolahan dan lain-lain. Namun, kajian mendapati terdapat ruang penambahbaikan dan mencadangkan sebuah bentuk agihan yang baharu dengan menubuhkan sebuah institusi pendidikan asnaf yang dibiayai sepenuhnya melalui dana zakat bagi mengelakkan berlakunya keciciran pendidikan di kalangan asnaf. Diharapkan kajian ini mampu memberikan gambaran terhadap bentuk pengurusan zakat yang baharu. Kajian susulan perlu dijalankan terutamanya untuk mengenal pasti kekangan atau masalah yang mungkin dihadapi dalam menjayakan penubuhan institusi pendidikan asnaf ini. Al-Qur’an memiliki cabang ilmu yang beraneka ragam di dalamnya, salah satunya adalah amsal al-Qur’an, ilmu ini memuat perumpamaan-perumpamaan tentang berbagai hal yang sarat dengan makna dan hikmah yang besar. Amsal al-Qur’an merupakan penyampaian gagasan-gagasan dengan bahasa yang padat dan indah, menghadirkan sesuatu yang abstrak seolah-olah dapat diindrakan oleh manusia, yang sulit difahami dan dibayangkan menjadi hal yang mudah dicerna dan menjadi kongkrit. Hal ini kemudian menjadi pelajaran besar bagi orang yang mau mengkajinya. Para pendidik di kalangan Islam bisa menjadikan amsal al-Qur’an sebagai contoh yang sangat berharga dalam dunia pendidikan baik dari segi tujuan, materi, metode maupun media yang digunakan. Secara garis besar, amtsal al-Qur’an terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu amsal Musharrah, amsal Kaminah, dan amsal Mursalah. Dalam perkembangan ilmu tafsir, amsal memberikan kontribusi yang cukup besar terhadap perkembangan berfikir umat Islam dalam mendalami dan memahami Al Qur’an. Ayat - ayat Al-Qur’an yang mengandung amsal, mengandung manfaat dalam pendidikan dan juga kejiwaan. Selain itu amsal al-Qur-an juga tidak sepi dari nilai-nilai psikologi baik psikologi umum maupun psikologi pendidikan Islam. Makalah ini akan menyampaikan amsal al-Qur’an dalam kaitannya dengan psikologi dan nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung di dalamnya. Kata Kunci : Amsal al-Qur’an, Psikologi, Pendidikan. Al-Quran has many diverse branches of science within, one of them is the proverb of al-Quran. This science contains parables a lot of things that are fully loaded with meaning and great wisdom. The proverbs of the Qur'an are the transmissions of ideas in a dense and beautiful language, presenting something abstract as if it could be induced by human beings, the difficult to understand and to imagine easily becomes digested and concrete. This case then becomes a big lesson for people who want to study it. Educators in Islamic institutions can make the proverbs of the Qur'an as a very valuable example in the world of education both in terms of purpose, materials, methods and media used. Broadly speaking, the proverb of al-Quran is divided into three, namely the proverb of Musharrah, proverb of Kaminah, and proverb of Mursalah. In the development of science of tafsir, proverbs give a considerable contribution to the development of Muslims thinking in deepening and understanding the Qur'an. The Qur'anic verses containing the proverbs, contain both educational and psychological benefits. In addition, the proverb of al-Quran is also not empty of the psychological values ​​of both general psychology and the psychology of Islamic education.
