Kamimuria hunanensis sp. n. and Kamimuria ziwulinga sp. n., two new perlid stoneflies from Hunan and Shaanxi provinces, respectively, are described as new to science. Two poorly known species of Kamimuria Klapálek, 1907 originally known from southern China, K. melli Wu, 1935 and K. taoi Wu, 1936, are rediscovered and amended with supplementary descriptions of the aedeagi. Two previously unrecognized species of Sinacroneuria Yang & Yang, 1995 are formally described from Chinese specimens collected in Fujian Province. In addition, S. orientalis Yang & Yang, 1995 type of the genus, is a synonym of Kamimuria flavata Navás, 1933, however K. flavata is a secondary homonym of Perla (Kamimuria) flavata Navás, 1924 and is invalid. A checklist of valid Sinacroneuria species is provided.

Klapálek (1907) established Kamimuria as a subgenus of Perla, but later elevated it to generic rank (Klapálek 1912). Later, Klapálek (1923) designated Perla tibialis Pictet, 1841, a Japanese species, as the type species. Uchida & Isobe (1991) designated a neotype for K. tibialis and resurrected K. uenoi Kohno from synonymy. Sivec et al. (1988) redescribed the diagnostic characters of Kamimuria in reference to other Perlinae. It is a genus widespread in the Palaearctic and Oriental Regions, being particularly diverse in China. Abstract:

A new species of the species rich Asian perlid genus Kamimuria Klapálek, K. peppapiggia sp. n. from Henan Province of northwestern China, is described based on the male, female, larva, and egg. Relationship with congeners are discussed based on morphological characters. The new species is a possible remnant of the once diverse lowland aquatic fauna of the North China Plain.

Additional specimens of Neoperla caii Li & Wang, 2017 are recorded from Sichuan Province of southwestern China. Morphological variation in the adult male is discussed and illustrated. The adult female of N. caii is described and illustrated for the first time. In addition, a new species, Kamimuria petasus sp. nov. is described from Sichuan Province. The adult male of this new species is characterized by subtriangular basal callus on the hemitergal lobe and by the aedeagus with a hat-shaped apex.
