Abstract:
Kangayam cattle, is a dual purpose breed and used more for carting. The present study was undertaken to find out the production performance of Kangayam cattle in Karur District. From the district 60 Kangayam cattle owners were identified randomly. The milk yield of the selected animals was recorded twice daily. As the calf and the farmer shared the milk the milk yield data were considered as daily partial milk yield. In addition milk samples were collected both morning and evening for estimation of milk constituents. The study reflected that the maximum lactation yield recorded among 60 animal

Semen extenders are the essential components of cryopreservation of semen. Identification of suitable and ready to use semen extender is the need of hour for the rapid propagation of Kangayam cows through artificial insemination. Kangayam bull, aged 5 years was utilized for the study. The semen was collected twice in a week and each time two ejaculates were collected. A total of 24 ejaculates were utilized for this study. After assessing the general macroscopical examination the semen was subjected to computer aided semen analysis (CASA) for assessing the kinematic parameters in fresh diluted

The estimation of acrosomal integrity is crucial for predicting the fertility of spermatozoa. The semen quality analysis demands assessment techniques to be reliable, quick and easy to perform for routine application in semen station. A study was conducted to assess the acrosomal integrity of Kangayam cattle and Salem Black goat using Giemsa stain and modified Trypan Blue-Giemsa stain. For this procedure, 70 numbers of frozen semen straws of Kangayam bull and Salem Black bucks were stained. The staining quality and acrosomal integrity were assessed at the interval of 3, 5 and 24 hours interval

Abstract:
A chromosomal polymorphism was detected on karyological screening of Kangayam breeding sires prior to subjecting them for frozen semen collection. One bull possessed the chromosomal complement 2n = 60, consisting of 58 acrocentric autosomes, one large sub-metacentric X-chromosome, and one small acrocentric Y-chromosome with a small visible p-arm, which was further confirmed using CBG- and GTG-banding. This polymorphism was attributed to a heterochromatin variation of the acrocentric Y-chromosome routine in the Bos indicus Linnaeus, 1758 cattle.

Abstract:
Introduction to, analysis of and text of an oral narrative of Sunjata by traditional narrators from Kela recorded by Jules Vidal in 1922 and published in French in 1924. Vidal's version was dubbed 'official' largely because of the view that nearby Niani was a medieval capital of Mali, a view championed by D.T. Niane but recently disproved, and because of the famous Kamablon ceremony that takes place every seventh year in Kela at which a lengthy version of the Sunjata epic is performed in secret by Diabate (Jabate) griots patronised by the nearby Keita rulers of Kangaba, once a notable Manding

Abstract The millennial woman is a non-conformist who charts her path and refuses to play out conventional scripts assigned by society and its institutions, including the family. Films portray a slew of expressions of defiance from diverse social settings. Actors like Vidya Balan, Kangana Raunat, Taapsee Panu, Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechelin, Alia Bhatt have all broken stereotypes with elan. Post globalization, authoritarian families continued to shelter women from new social norms.
