ABSTRACT(N.B. A version of this paper has now been published in Kaogu 1983.6:537-41.)Fu Hao (or Fu Zi ) appears in the oracle-bone inscriptions from Anyang. The name is often seen in Period I inscriptions (from the time of Wu Ding) and occasionally in Period IV inscriptions (from the time of Wu Yi and Wen Ding). The two are separated by four kings (Zu Geng, Zu Jia, Lin Xin, and Kang Ding), perhaps by as much as one hundred years. Does the Fu Hao in both periods refer to the same person? How can we explain this phenomenon?In the oracle-bone records of people and their activities there are cases where one figure is active in different periods. These names are often also place names, and these figures possess a populace and products. These names are probably what is termed “Clan-Territory titles” (a term found in the Gu shi kao, as quoted in the “Zheng yi” commentary to the Zuo zhuan). Based on their clan name they served hereditarily as officials. These clan names occur in historical literature, as in “In the past, our former kings were for generations Lords of Millet (Hou Ji ), serving under the Yü and Xia “(Guo yü “Zhou Yü” ); or “The Zhong and Li clans generation after generation ordered heaven and earth, … the Sima clan for generation after generation was in charge of the history of Zhou” (Shi ji, “Taishigong zixu” ).

Abstract:
Triptolide (PG490, 97% pure) is a diterpenoid triepoxide with potent anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects in transformed human bronchial epithelial cells and T cells (Qiu D, Zhao G, Aoki Y, Shi L, Uyei A, Nazarian S, Ng JC-H, and Kao PN. J Biol Chem 274: 13443–13450, 1999). Triptolide, with an IC50of ∼20–50 ng/ml, inhibits normal and transformed human bronchial epithelial cell expression of interleukin (IL)-6 and IL-8 stimulated by phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA), tumor necrosis factor-α, or IL-1β. Nuclear runoff and luciferase reporter gene assays demonstrate that triptolide inhibits IL-8 transcription. Triptolide also inhibits the transcriptional activation, but not the DNA binding, of nuclear factor-κB. A cDNA array and clustering algorithm analysis reveals that triptolide inhibits expression of the PMA-induced genes tumor necrosis factor-α, IL-8, macrophage inflammatory protein-2α, intercellular adhesion molecule-1, integrin β6, vascular endothelial growth factor, granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor, GATA-3, fra-1, and NF45. Triptolide also inhibits constitutively expressed cell cycle regulators and survival genes cyclins D1, B1, and A1, cdc-25, bcl-x, and c-jun. Thus anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative, and proapoptotic properties of triptolide are associated with inhibition of nuclear factor-κB signaling and inhibition of genes known to regulate cell cycle progression and survival.

A yau zamani ya kai, an samu mawaƙa da dama da ke amfani da kayan kiɗa na zamani yayin rera waƙoƙinsu. Sai dai wani abu shi ne, mawaƙan ƙasar Hausa na fuskantar tsangwama. Sau da dama matsayinsu ga idon jama’a ba ya wuce maroƙa ko limamen shashanci. Wannan ne ya sanya mawaƙa da dama ke rera waƙoƙi da ke nuna ƙorafinsu ga hakan. Wannan takarda ta nazarci ɗaya da cikin waɗannan waƙoƙi mai suna Waƙar Ranar Mawaƙa wanda Fati da Kasim suka rera. Sakamakon nazarin na nuna cewa; mawaƙa na fuskantar tsangwama a ƙasar Hausa. Sannan al’umma ba ta tallafa wa waɗannan mawaƙa ta fuskar shawarwari da sauran abubuwa da suka dace. Daga ƙarshe an ba da shawarwari da suka haɗa da, a riƙa jawo mawaƙa jiki tare da ƙarfafa musu guiwa da nusar da su kan samar da waƙoƙi masu amfani ga al’umma ta fuskar ilimi da zamantakewa.

Nakana nam je prikazati problem ekologije u novoj religioznosti u razmišljanju sociologa religije Željka Mardešića. Polazeći od fenomenološke i antropološke analize svetoga u postmodernitetu, Mardešić analizira pojavu nove religioznosti i njezine društvene učinke. U tom kontekstu panoramski i sintetički obrađuje pojavu ekoloških tema u novim religijskim pokretima: od adventista i apokaliptičkih zajednica, preko skupina Eko života, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesha, Hare Krišna, Sai Babe do francuskih aumista Mandaron i velike duhovne struje New Agea. Mardešić zaključuje kako svako bavljenje društvenim učincima religije mora uključiti i religijsko otkriće ekologije u posmodernitetu. I nova religioznost i ekologija nastupaju kao kritika i ispravak pogubnih učinaka moderniteta te se zalažu za holističku antropologiju i panteistički svjetonazor.

Abstract Modern Chinese confirmative shi (as in mei cuo, wo shi yao dusi ni (沒錯,我是要毒死你) ‘that’s right. I really wanted to poison you to death’) is not an auxiliary but an adverb. It derives from the adjective shi ‘true, real’ in Old Chinese (Yan zhi yan shi ye (偃之言是也) ‘what Yan said was true’). The grammaticalization pathway of the Modern Chinese confirmative shi is different from that of the copula shi (Laozhang shi huoche siji (老張是貨車司機) ‘Laozhang is a truck driver’) or the auxiliary shi (Laozhang shi kai huoche, wo shi kai keche (老張是開貨車,我是開客車) ‘Laozhang drives a truck and I drive a coach car’). Modern Chinese confirmative shi, copula shi, and auxiliary shi have the same morphological form because they all appear to derive from the adjective shi or demonstrative ( shi ke ren, shu bu ke ren ( 是可忍,孰不可忍) ‘if this could be endured, is there anything else that could not be endured’) in Old Chinese. Such a pattern of morphological sameness seems to be cross-linguistically rare, if not unique.

Tabbatar da tsaro da zaman lafiya na buƙatar saka hannun dukkannin ɓangarorin al’umma tun daga kan jami’an gwamnati, shuwagabanni, har zuwa kan ƙungiyoyi da ɗaiɗaikun al’umma.

Hinterfragen lässt sich jedoch auch deren Begründungsbasis: Was ist der Maßstab, an dem sich unsere Urteile über das gute Leben und das gerechte Zusammenleben in letzter Hinsicht orientieren sollen, und wie wird dieser Maßstab begründet? Hinsichtlich dieser Frage erscheinen die Differenzen zwischen den dominierenden Strömungen antiker und scholastischer Tugendethik und Naturrechtslehre aus heutiger Sicht weniger gravierend als die Gemeinsamkeiten. Dass das naturgemäße Leben auch das gute und richtige Leben sei, ist zwischen den philosophischen Schulen der Antike nicht strittig.

ZusammenfassungDie Falldiskussionen der Kap. 4 bis 10 widmen sich Maßnahmen der Intervention, sprich Maßnahmen, um Gefahren abzuwenden und Verletzungen sowie Folgeschäden zu reduzieren. Nach Braun (2016) stellt die Befähigung von Erwachsenen zur Intervention eine Form der Prävention dar. Prävention sei in Anlehnung an Caplan (1964) als das Vorbeugen (primär) und frühzeitige Erkennen bzw. Aufdecken (sekundär) sowie das Minimieren von Folgeschäden (tertiär) sexualisierter Gewalt in Kindheit und Jugend verstanden. Angesichts der Schnittstelle von Intervention und Prävention muss Letztere Prinzipien der (Krisen-)Intervention berücksichtigen. Das setzt sowohl Wissen über Gewaltdynamiken als auch darüber voraus, wie es Betroffenen und ihrem sozialen Umfeld geht. Mit diesem Schlusskapitel beschäftigen wir uns deswegen mit Maximen gelingender Prävention mediatisierter sexualisierter Gewalt innerhalb der pädagogischen Praxis.

AbstractWe present here a criterion to conclude that an abstract SPDE possesses a unique maximal strong solution, which we apply to a three dimensional Stochastic Navier-Stokes Equation. In particular our criterion is designed to fit viscous fluid dynamics models with Stochastic Advection by Lie Transport (SALT) as introduced in Holm (Proc R Soc A: Math Phys Eng Sci 471(2176):20140963, 2015). Our application to the Incompressible Navier-Stokes equation matches the existence and uniqueness result of the deterministic theory. This short work summarises the results and announces two papers (Crisan et al., Existence and uniqueness of maximal strong solutions to nonlinear SPDEs with applications to viscous fluid models, in preparation; Crisan and Goodair, Analytical properties of a 3D stochastic Navier-Stokes equation, 2022, in preparation) which give the full details for the abstract well-posedness arguments and application to the Navier-Stokes Equation respectively.

This chapter details Naw Sheera's experiences as part of the Karen Women's Organization (KWO), and also contains her reminiscences on some of the KWO members. KWO membership was open to all Karen women eighteen years and older, from all religions. Naw Sheera joined the organization in the hopes of helping other Karen women. She eventually took on the role of organizer in the Organization Department at the central office in Manerplaw. She wanted to do the organizer's job to empower uneducated Karen women. Her duty was to go out each month to the districts and coordinate the KWO and its structure in the townships and villages in the seven Karen districts.

Kuo Siu-may (1916–1995) is best known as the wife of Bishop K. H. Ting (1915–2012). In previous studies she has generally been cast in the shadow of her husband. Kuo Siu-may was educated in Anglican schools and her life and work may be seen as part of the development of the Chung Hua Sheng Kung Hui (CHSKH) and of Chinese history as a whole. She also transcended this framework and developed her own role in society. This chapter considers Kuo Siu-may as an independent individual in her own right and interpret her role as an Anglican woman intellectual in pre- and post-liberation China from different perspectives. This chapter offers a different perspective on the role of Anglican women beyond the confines of the Church and opens up a new area of scholarly research.

One of significant legal innovations brought by the new domestic Law on Medically Assisted Reproduction involves widening the concept of reproductive autonomy in case of single woman as a user of medically assisted reproduction services. Thus, the new Serbian legislation in this field adopts quite liberal approach which largely relieves single woman to engage in medically assisted reproduction procedure. Firstly, the right of a single woman to access the medically assisted reproduction is not formulated as an exemption from the rule that such right belongs primarily to marriage couples and cohabitants. In this way, medically assisted reproduction is permitted under same conditions to single woman as for the spouses and cohabitants. Even more, new Serbian legislation in this field has abolished the principle of medically necessity in case of a single woman as a user of medically assisted reproduction. Thus, she has been given even bigger reproductive autonomy in domain of medically assisted reproduction comparing to those of marriage couples or cohabitants. Such unchecked and overwhelming reproductive autonomy significantly impairs the balance among the interests of participants in medically assisted reproduction procedures endangering the public interests, as well as the best interests of the prospective child.

Denna rapport presenterar en studie av Voernese samebys erfarenheter av de konsekvenser som gruvan i Stihkeområdet fört med sig, en gruva som drevs av Boliden Mineral AB mellan år 1976–1988. Det finns i dag ett stort kunskapsglapp angående vilka de faktiska konsekvenserna är av gruvindustri på renskötsel och annan samisk markanvändning. Detta är så vitt vi vet första gången som forskningen empiriskt belyser konsekvenserna av gruvindustrin och försöken till efterbehandling av gruvområdet utifrån en samebys egna erfarenheter och kunskap. Studien genomfördes 2019–2020 i ett samarbete mellan samebyn, Svenska Samernas Riksförbund och SEI. Datainsamlingen har bestått av arbetsmöten, intervjuer, workshops, dokumentanalys och kartering med stöd av RenGIS och forskning om störningszoner. Fokus i denna rapport är på just Voernese samebys erfarenheter, gruvans konsekvenser för andra samebyar eller icke-renskötande samer i området har därför inte inkluderats. Resultaten visar den omfattande påverkan som gruvan haft på samebyn, dels under driftperioden men i högsta grad också efteråt. Eftersom samebyn bedriver samrenskötsel i Stihkeområdet med Vilhelmina Södra sameby, på vars mark gruvverksamheten bedrevs, har samebyn påverkats både av direkta markförluster och betesskador från gruvområdet liksom andra störningarna under drifttiden. I nutid handlar de största konsekvenserna om påverkan från vägen som drogs i tidigare väglöst land och störningarna på renen från besöksnäringen. Detta har försvårat för renen att finna betesro, inneburit omfattande merarbete och ökade kostnader för samebyn vid samling och flytt, samt medfört stress och oro för samebyns medlemmar liksom även förlust av traditionell kunskap. Renskötseln försvåras även av kvarlämnade borrör och järnskrot från SGU:s provborrningar. Studien visar också hur samebyn exkluderades från beslutsfattandet när Bolidens gruva etablerades på 1970-talet och nu återigen har marginaliserats i samband med tillståndsprövningen för Vilhelmina Minerals planer för återupptagning av brytningen. Dessa forskningsresultat är viktiga för att korrigera en vanlig missuppfattning i den politiska och offentliga debatten kring gruvindustrin: att gruvindustri och renskötsel skulle kunna samexistera utan någon större påverkan på renskötseln. De bidrar också till en ökad förståelse för den omfattande påverkan som ett gruvprojekt, samt dess följdeffekter, kan ha på en grannsameby trots det att själva gruvområdet ligger utanför samebygränsen. I ett vidare perspektiv bidrar studien med ytterligare ett empiriskt baserat exempel på hur gruvbolag och stat marginaliserar samisk kunskap och missbrukar samebyars deltagande i miljöbedömningar. Dessa problem härrör främst från det faktum att svensk lagstiftning inte ger tillräckligt skydd för samiska rättigheter. Det hänger även ihop med statens tvetydiga roll i hanteringen av de intressekonflikter som uppstår när man både har en skyldighet att skydda samiska rättigheter och ska tillgodose olika samhälls- och företagsekonomiska intressen i utvinningen av mineraler. Denna brist på ansvarstagande, som samebyn upplever från statens sida, visar med all tydlighet att den koloniala exploateringen av naturresurserna i Sápmi inte är ett historiskt fenomen utan något som i högsta grad fortgår än i dag. Som ett exempel har inga ansträngningar gjorts för att se över om den begränsade ekonomiska ersättningen som staten genomförde under 1960–70 talet verkligen motsvarar de faktiska skador som samebyn fått uthärda. På kortare sikt skulle många förbättringar troligen kunna åstadkommas genom enskilda insatser för att adressera de problem som samebyn har i Stihkeområdet. Exempelvis skulle kommun och länsstyrelse kunna ingripa för att hantera de problem som besöksnäringen och friluftslivet orsakar och regeringen skulle kunna ge SGU i uppdrag att återställa tidigare prospekteringsverksamhet i Stihkeområdet. Vad denna studie främst belyser är dock behovet av en mer genomgripande strategi från statens sida för att komma till rätta med konsekvenserna av Bolidens gruvprojekt och dess följdeffekter. Utifrån senaste årens rättsutveckling torde det numera finnas goda möjligheter för staten att se över sitt ansvar för de skador som framkommit i Stihkeområdet.

Sztuczna inteligencja (SI) coraz częściej wpływa na życie jednostek oraz funkcjonowanie społeczeństw jako całości. W ostatnim czasie rośnie również znaczenie sztucznej inteligencji w biznesie, w którym posiada ona coraz szerszy zakres zastosowań. Definicje sztucznej inteligencji różnią się w zależności od kontekstu, w którym to pojęcie jest używane. W najprostszym ujęciu przez sztuczną inteligencję rozumie się systemy lub maszyny na nich oparte, które naśladują ludzką inteligencję podczas wykonywania określonych zadań i dodatkowo mogą się interaktywnie doskonalić (uczyć) na podstawie zbieranych informacji. Postrzegane korzyści i zagrożenia związane z wdrażaniem w przedsiębiorstwach rozwiązań z zakresu sztucznej inteligencji mogą różnić się w zależności od tego, kto dokonuje oceny zjawiska. To, co dla pracodawcy stanowi korzyść (np. obniżenie kosztów pracy), przez pracowników może być postrzegane jako realne zagrożenie związane z utratą pracy (zastąpienie pracownika przez rozwiązania oparte o sztuczną inteligencję). Ograniczenie wspomnianych obaw będzie możliwe tylko wówczas, gdy sztuczna inteligencja będzie rozwijana i wdrażana w firmach w sposób właściwy, pozwalający zdobyć zaufanie pracowników. Zaufanie ukierunkowane na technologię jawi się jako niezwykle ważna i interesująca poznawczo kategoria. Zaufanie do technologii przejawia się w gotowości człowieka do bycia pod wpływem technologii, wynikającej z użyteczności tej technologii, przewidywalności skutków jej działania a także wiarygodności jej dostawców. Pojęcie zaufania do technologii odnosi się zatem do wiary, iż druga strona relacji – w tym przypadku technologia – będzie działać w sposób przewidywalny i niezawodny, zapewniający pozytywne rezultaty. Nie bez znaczenia jest tu również indywidualna skłonność jednostki do korzystania z technologii, będąca efektem jej cech osobowościowych, związanych m.in. z wcześniejszymi doświadczeniami, otwarciem na nowe doświadczania, chęcią ciągłego poznawania i uczenia się. Identyfikacja oraz pomiar zaufania do sztucznej inteligencji, rozumianej jako najbardziej zaawansowanej formy rozwoju technologii, jest swoistym wyzwaniem z uwagi na latentną naturę rozważanej zmiennej. Biorąc pod uwagę, że zaufanie pracowników do sztucznej inteligencji w przedsiębiorstwie jest konstruktem złożonym, wielowymiarowym i nieidentyfikowalnym bezpośrednio w zrealizowanym badaniu podjęto próbę jego opisu poprzez inne konstrukty badawcze złożone z elementów (zmiennych) identyfikowalnych, które odnoszą się do obserwowalnych cech. Konstrukty badawcze niższego szczebla to: ogólne zaufanie technologiczne, zaufanie do zaawansowanej technologii w przedsiębiorstwie, zaufanie wewnątrzorganizacyjne, indywidualne zaufanie kompetencyjne. Celem przeprowadzonego badania była ocena poziomu zaufania do sztucznej inteligencji pracowników przedsiębiorstw przemysłowych funkcjonujących w Polsce. Poziom wspomnianego zaufania zbadano w oparciu o cztery, wymienione wyżej, konstrukty badawcze niższego szczebla. Z uwagi na stosunkowo niski stopień rozpoznania w teorii i praktyce problematyki zaufania pracowników do sztucznej inteligencji, przeprowadzone badanie miało charakter eksploracyjny. Zostało zrealizowane w okresie luty–kwiecień 2020 r. w 29 przedsiębiorstwach funkcjonujących na terenie Polski. Ich dobór miał charakter celowy i wynikał z możliwości uzyskania w nich zgody na realizację pomiaru. Dobór respondentów w każdym z przedsiębiorstw miał także charakter celowy. Pomiar z udziałem wybranych w ten sposób osób zrealizowano metodą ankiety bezpośredniej. Wzięło w nim udział łącznie 792 respondentów. Opisane jednostki poddano pomiarowi w miejscu pracy. Stosownie do zaproponowanej metody zbierania danych, instrumentem pomiarowym wykorzystanym w badaniu był kwestionariusz ankietowy. Uzyskane wyniki poddano analizie w każdym z czterech zaproponowanych obszarów (konstruktów badawczych niższego rzędu), dokonano także syntetycznej oceny konstruktu złożonego, jakim jest zaufanie pracowników do sztucznej inteligencji w przedsiębiorstwie. Ocena syntetyczna wyniosła S=6,63 (w skali od 0 do 10) . Wynik ten należy interpretować z ostrożnym optymizmem, świadczy bowiem o umiarkowanie wysokim ogólnym zaufaniu pracowników do zaawansowanej technologii, w tym sztucznej inteligencji. Odwołując się do ocen cząstkowych dotyczących poszczególnych obszarów warto podkreślić, że owo zaufanie jest wspierane głównie przez indywidualne zaufanie kompetencyjne oraz zaufanie wewnątrzorganizacyjne. Te dwa komponenty zaufania są ze sobą ściśle powiązane. Wyniki badania wskazują jednocześnie na niższy poziom ocen uzyskanych w dwóch pozostałych komponentach opisywanego konstruktu, jakimi są ogólne zaufanie technologiczne oraz zaufanie do zaawansowanej technologii w przedsiębiorstwie.

Mes kërcënimit në rritje të ekstremizmit të dhunshëm (EDH) në të gjithë botën, vendet e Ballkanit Perëndimor përballen me sfida të mëdha në kohezionin dhe stabilitetin social. Si kudo tjetër, narrativat e militantizmin fetar, të ekstremit të djathtë dhe nacionalist përkojnë me popullatat e cenueshme të të rinjve në vendet e Ballkanit Perëndimor, ku një histori konfliktesh etnike, fetare dhe civile ka krijuar një situatë cenueshmërie ndaj rekrutimit nga terroristët brenda dhe jashtë vendit. Personat që kanë shkuar për të luftuar përkrah organizatave ekstremiste të dhunshme jashtë vendit po kthehen në vendet e tyre pas humbjeve territoriale të grupeve ekstremiste në Siri dhe Irak. Në të njëjtën kohë, ekstremizmi etnonacionalist vazhdon të fitojë terren dhe të zgjerohet në të gjithë rajonin. Ndërkohë që disa prej këtyre temave kanë marrë vëmendje të shtuar në tërësinë e literaturës aktuale, të tjera tema mbeten të nënhulumtuara. Çështjet ekzistuese të hulumtimit kërkojnë gjithashtu më shumë studime në terren dhe baza më të thella konceptuale. Boshllëqet që rezultojnë në të kuptuarit tonë kolektiv janë tregues të nevojës për hulumtime të mëtejshme mbi zhvillimin e dinamikave sociale dhe të EDH në Ballkanin Perëndimor. Një hulumtim më rigoroz dhe i bazuar në këtë drejtim mund të ndihmojë në informimin dhe përmirësimin e përpjekjeve për të parandaluar dhe luftuar ekstremizmin e dhunshëm në rajon (prevent and counter violent extremism, P/CVE). Në vitin 2019, rrjeti “RESOLVE” mblodhi ekspertë vendas dhe ndërkombëtarë për të diskutuar boshllëqet kërkimore dhe për të hartuar një listë paraprake të prioriteteve kërkimore për të çuar përpara parandalimin dhe luftën kundër ekstremizmit të dhunshëm në Ballkanin Perëndimor.3Çështjet e identifikuara më poshtë pasqyrojnë ekspertizën e tyre të përbashkët, kuptimin e thellë dhe angazhimin për analizë të vazhdueshme të tendencave dhe dinamikave të EDH në rajon.
