This thesis deals with designing shape modifications of a toecap used in Honeywell brand safety shoes. The thesis shows algorithm of compression test and impact test FEA in ANSYS software. The toecap was divided into areas according to von-Misses stress. Several modifications were made in all areas separately, according to design of experiments. Best of the modifications were combined together and two best combinations selected. The goals were verified by experimental testing of manufactured toecaps. The results were even a little bit better than simulations.

Theme of the thesis is a construction that is considered to be one of the most spectacular examples of a French gothic architecture. Notre-Dame Cathedral lies on the Eastern half of a Parisian island Île de la Cité on the river Seina. On April 15, 2019, roof of the cathedral caught on fire. This thesis addresses the static security chapel in Medlice. The chapel is a single-Gothic style. The other two dimensions 8x14 m chapels are part of the chapel tower is 20 m high with dimensions of 2,6 x2, 6 m Chapel was built in 1901. The truss chapel was damaged by pests, and therefore, a need to examine and exchange truss. On this occasion, establish a reinforced concrete ring that object until now lacked. In the first year of research there were measured 114 roebuck skulls o show trophy . In the second year of research there were measured 78 roebuck skulls o show trophy Twenty three craniometrical values were measured on each skulls. There were made photos of each measured skulls. Craniometric data were statistically evaluated. Statistical analysis were not confirmed with hypothesis, that all craniometrical data depend on the age.

The diploma thesis describes the design of sacred buildings, where wood is the dominant carrier material. Two possible variants are suggested, one of them is selected for further processing and the second one remains only a draft. Attention is given to the design of suitable roofing. The supporting roof structure consists three-articulated beams of glued laminated timber. The theme of the roof is also engaged in research, which focuses on modern wooden churches.
