Abstract:

Jeg tænker ofte på hvor meget jeg går glip af eller aldrig vil kommer til at forstå . Der findes såmeget viden, så mange systemer og logikker, som jeg aldrig vil have tid til at sætte mig ind i ellerundersøge kritisk. Der er så mange ting man tager for givet eller bare vælger at stole på blindt.Der findes dårligt tid til at standse op og reflektere. Vi skal rationalisere og effektivisere voreskærlighedsliv, vores økonomi,vores fritid. Der skal være kontrol på alting, så at man kan nå dethele.På dansk findes der et udsagn som lyder ”jeg har styr på tingene”, jeg har ofte spekuleret overdenne sætnings egentlige betydning. For mig handler dette udsagn om kontrol, om at stræbe efter atkontrollere alting. Det komplette/ perfekte menneske har styr på alt sit følelsesliv, sin karriere,opvasken... alt er under kontrol. Sætningen er ladet med en positiv ladning, men er detnødvendigvis ønskværdigt at stræbe efter at have kontrol over alting?Jeg har valgt at arbejde med temaet kaos og orden. Mit tema findes både i min fortælling og i minpraktiske metode. I mit arbejde anvender jeg mig af hverdagsobjektets logik til at skabe en fiction.Jeg vil i min rapport derfor kigge nærmere på hverdagsobjektets logik, som jeg undersøger iafsnittet hverdagsobjekt, hvori jeg også ser på kaos og orden udfra et hverdagsperspektiv.I afsnittet praktisk metode vil jeg gøre rede for, hvordan jeg undersøger kaos og orden igennemmin praktiske metode. Jeg har valgt udelukkende at beskrive min process, hvori jeg deformeretallerkenerne og kopperne, da dette er en direkte formundersøgelse af kaos og orden.Derudover vil jeg beskrive min egen arbejdsmetode samt supplere denne med refleksioner omkringmit arbejde. I afsnittet refleksion har jeg inkluderet dele fra Louise Mazanti´s Ph.d-afhandling”Superobjekter” for at understøtte min egen analyse af mit projekt. Efter at have gjort research påmit arbejde og skrevet dele af min opgave, blev det klart for mig at hendes forslag om et udvidetæstetik begreb, (for at kunne begrebsligøre konceptuelt kunsthåndværk), er ganske beskrivende ogbehjælpeligt i forståelsen af mit eget arbejde. Det er altså helt bevidst, at dette teori-afsnit ligger tilsidst i opgaven.

First part of the thesis concerns with an analysis of the current practice in hydrostatic guides in the field of heavy gantry machines, an usage of alternative materials for a construction of carrying parts of machines, and possibilities of current simulation methods. Aim of the second part of this thesis is a brief clarification of the principle of mathematical optimization, and creation of general methodology of construction optimization by means of system analysis. Optimization calculations were processed by ANSYS Workbench 11.0. There is achieved adjusted and optimized design of the hydrostatic slide as the result of the thesis. Moreover, the comparison of key deformations was added. Created methodology is applicable in both an area of construction of gantry machines, and a wide spectrum of construction fields.

Išskirti ir palyginti vakarų aukštaičių kauniškių – kapsų ir zanavykų – veiksmažodžio morfologijos ypatybes. Darbo uždaviniai:  Naudojantis tiriamuose šaltiniuose rastais kapsų ir zanavykų veiksmažodžio vartojimo atvejais bei dialektologijos šaltiniais, nurodyti šių šnektų bendrąsias ir skiriamąsias fonetikos ypatybes;  Aprašyti ir palyginti išrinktas kapsų ir zanavykų veiksmažodžio morfologijos ypatybes. Pagrindinės išvados:  Rasta nemažai kapsų ir zanavykų šnektas siejančių požymių, bet kiekviena šnekta turi ir specifinių, tik jai būdingų fonetikos ir morfologijos ypatybių.  Veiksmažodžio dviskaitą greta pagrindinių skaičių – vienaskaitos ir daugiskaitos – turi tik zanavykai, o kapsai vartoja tik pagrindinių... Cette relation s’étend jusque dans la langue, où les toponymes occupent une place de prédilection. Comprendre les relations entre les Apitipi8innik et leur territoire nommé est une volonté récente du milieu académique, qui émerge de la considération de phénomènes où les noms de lieux sont employés dans l’espace public comme outils de l’affirmation culturelle en territoire, comme porte-étendard d’un héritage culturel et comme un outil de maintien et de valorisation de la langue. Cette recherche vise la compréhension, la description et la diffusion des noms de lieux apitipi8innik et des relations que les Apitipi8innik entretiennent aujourd’hui avec leur territoire nommé. Il s’agit d’une recherche menée de pair avec les principaux intéressés, où les propos tenus et les finalités visées sont entrepris pour l'intérêt premier du peuple détenant le savoir ici analysé. Ainsi, des entretiens autour de séances de cartographie participative ou de parcours commentés ont complété et enrichi une compilation d’enquêtes toponymiques déjà publiées. Les objectifs d’assembler le savoir toponymique apitipi8inni, de le distinguer des autres toponymies en portant un regard sur ses caractéristiques et la mise sur pied de moyens visant le rayonnement du savoir recueilli ont amenés à une réflexion géographique sur ce qui s’avère être une question aussi linguistique, historique et politique.Les résultats de la recherche pourront permettre d’orienter l’utilisation de cette toponymie par les Apitipi8innik dans de «nouvelles» fonctions, allant de l’affichage à l’officialisation, de la pérennisation de la langue anicinape au tourisme culturel. Geographically linked to the community of Pikogan, but people of a much larger “Abitibi”, the Apitipi8innik have a relationship with their territory that largely exceeds its functionalist aspects. This relationship extends into the language, where toponyms occupy a central place. Understanding the relationship between Apitipi8innik and their “named territory” is a recent academical desire that emerges from the consideration of phenomena where place names are used in public space as tools for territorial and cultural affirmation, as a gateway to a cultural heritage and as a tool for the maintenance and enhancement of the language. This research aims to understand, describe and disseminate apitipi8innik place names and the relationships that Apitipi8innik maintain today with their named territory. There search was conducted with the main stakeholders and undertaken for the best interest of the people holding the knowledge being analyzed. Thus, interviews around participatory mapping sessions or “commented routes” completed and enriched previously published toponymic surveys. The objectives of gathering apitipi8inni toponymic knowledge, distinguishing other toponymies by looking at its characteristics,and putting in place means aimed at spreading the knowledge collected,have led to a geographical reflection on what must also be a linguistic, historical and political issue.The findings will hopefully guide the use of this toponymy by the Apitipi8innik in "new" functions, ranging from display to officialization and the perpetuation of the Anicinape language to cultural tourism.

Abstract:

The purpose of the present study was to replicate Cervone's (2004) study, specifically for a work context. By focusing on the context of work, I believe that a "situationally-sensitive" nomothetic measure of personality for predicting job performance can be developed. My findings indicate that participants were able to identify self-relevant attributes in the context of work and then rate the relevance of each self-relevant attribute to work situations, such that the scores of the self-efficacy items related to those situations rated as relevant correspond with the self-relevant characteristics that were originally identified. Also, the data suggest that while there are several instances of idiosyncrasy in self-perception, there are also many commonalities in both the characteristics believed to be self-relevant and the situations to which those characteristics are relevant. This finding opens up the possibility of using an alternative strategy to develop a nomothetic measure of personality based on idiographic methods. Master of Science

Kombinationen höga krav, låg kontroll och lågt socialt stöd leder, enligt krav-kontroll-stöd modellen, till de högsta stressnivåerna. Självledarskap ger individen möjligheten att, genom en inre kontroll, återta kontrollen och minska stressnivåerna. Genom att använda sig av självledarskapsstrategier kan individen förändra sina tankemönster och ageranden för att på så vis förhoppningsvis förbättra sin stresshantering. Studiens syfte var att studera relationen mellan självledarskap, stress och arbetets uppbyggnad. Med arbetets uppbyggnad menas här kombinationen av krav, kontroll, stöd samt tydlighet. Totalt besvarade 107 deltagare, varav 69 kvinnor, en enkät. Analyserna visade på samband mellan stress och samtliga 4 arbetsmiljövariabler (krav, kontroll, stöd samt tydlighet), vidare på positivt samband mellan självledarskapsvariabeln självbestraffning och stress samt positiva samband mellan strategigruppen naturliga belöningar och 2 av arbetsmiljövariablerna. Hypotesen, att goda självledarskapskunskaper medför bättre stresshantering, fick dock inte stöd. Det behövs ytterligare forskning för att tydliggöra sambanden mellan självledarskap, stress och arbetsmiljö, exempelvis genom experimentella studier.

Thesis (MBA)--Stellenbosch University, 2006. ENGLISH ABSTRACT: HIV/AIDS is one of the most devastating pandemics the world has ever faced. SubSaharan Africa remains the region most affected where more two thirds of the total HIV positive population resides. Despite this region trying to grapple with many negative factors like political unrest, draughts, armed conflict, it now also have to content with HIV/AIDS. HIV/AIDS has already killed ten times more Africans than all of the armed conflicts on the African continent combined (The Washington Quarterly, 2001:191-196). Many of the Sub-Saharan countries are renowned for unemployment and poverty which can be partly be alleviated by economic growth. Studies by Bonnel (2000) concluded that a typical Sub-Saharan country with a 20% HIV/AIDS prevalence rate, would suffer a 2.6% reduction in GDP growth per annum. This indicates that South Africa, where an estimated S.5 million HIV positive people resides (the most in globe) and ever increasing HIV prevalence, is in a serious predicament. There are many interacting variables causing the negative socioeconomic decline. At organisational level direct and indirect costs attributable to HIV, results in a severe decline of profitability and jeopardises sustainable economic activity. Direct costs include costs for medical treatment, health insurance, funeral expenses, retirement and disability and costs to manage HIV in the workplace. Indirect costs include absenteeism and loss of productivity, retraining and recruiting of employees to fill deceased employees' places etc. Although South African organisations acknowledge and predict that HIV/AIDS will have an ever-increasing negative impact on their business, the response to dealing with this issue has been insufficient. The deficient response could be partly ascribed to a lack of guidance, deficient proof of cost effectiveness with no real measurement for the outcomes of intervention programs. This study will critically evaluate a KAPB (knowledge, attitude, perception and behaviour) survey as a second-generation HIV surveillance tool that could address these organisational concerns. KAPB surveys have advantages like providing guidance and increasing cost effectiveness of HIV programs, benchmarking interventions and providing a platform for communication design and feedback to stakeholders. These benefits should motivate organisations to initiate programs that address HIV at an organisational level. KAPB surveys evaluate four employee factors related to HIV - knowledge, attitudes, perception and sexual behaviour. This report will critically evaluate the appropriateness of measuring these factors and some tools used to measure these factors. Further elaboration of the methodology during the execution of a KAPB survey will highlight the current best practices identified in literature. The report will also highlight the obstacles and ways of negotiating them when conducting a KPAB survey. The study will conclude that a well -executed KAPB survey through its many benefits should motivate and assist organisations in designing and implementing HIV/AIDS programs. AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: HIV is een van die ernstigste pandemies wat die wereld al ooit beleef het. Die state in die Sub-Sahara streek is die ergste geaffekteer en meer as twee derdes van die totale HIV positiewe populasie kom in die gebied voor. Die streek wat deurgaans geteister word deur politieke onrus, droogte, oorlog, moet nou ook probeer tred hou met MIV /VIGS. MIV/VIGS het tot op hede alreeds tien keer meer mense gedood as al die oorloë op die Afrika continent saam (The Washington Quarterly, 2001: 191-196). Die meeste van die state in Sub-Sahara word gekenmerk deur werkloosheid en armoede wat deels verlig kan word deur ekonomiese groei. Studies deur Bonnel (2000) het getoon dat die tipiese staat in Sub-Sahara, met 'n 20% MIV insidensie 'n vermindering van tot 2.6% groei in die GDP kan ondervind. Dit voorspel dat Suid-Afrika met 'n voorspelde 5.5 miljoen HIV positiewe inwoners (die meeste in die wereld) ekonomiese noodlot in die oog staar. Daar is verskeie faktore wat saamwerk om die negatiewe ekonomiese 'effek van MIV/VIGS te bewerkstellig. Organisasies se ekonomiese vooruitgang en oorlewing word bedreig deur direkte en indirect kostes van MIV. Direkte kostes wat organisasies moet aangaan sluit in mediese behandeling, mediese fonds bydraes, begrafnis onkostes, aftrede en ongeskiktheidspensioenbetalings. Indirekte kostes sluit in afwesighede, verlies aan produktiwiteit en die heropleiding en werwing van werknemers wat afgestorwe werknemers se plek moet neem. Ten spyte van die feit dat organisasies erken en voorspel dat MIV/VIGS 'n negatiewe impak op die ekonomies welvaart van organisasies sal hê, het weining van die organisasies aksie geneem om die probleem aan te spreek. 'n Moontlike rede vir die onvoldoende aksie kan toegeskryf word aan die tekort aan leiding, bewyse vir kostedoeltreffendheid en geen werklike maatstaf om die programme se resultate te evalueer. Hierdie studie sal KGPG (kennis, gevoelens, persepsie ' en gedrag) studies as 'n tweede generasie MIV opname, krities evalueer. KGPG studies bied verskeie voordele soos om leiding vir HIV programme te bied en verbeterde koste effetiwiteit van MIV programme te bewerkstellig. KGPG studies voorsien ook 'n maatstaf om MIV programme te evalueer en 'n kommunikaise platvorm tussen aandeelhouers. Hierdie voordele sal moontlik organisasies motiveer om aksie te neem en MIV in die organisasie aan te spreek. KGPG studies evalueer vier werknemer faktore met betrekking to MIV /VIGS. Die vier faktore is kennis, gevoelens, persepsie en seksuale gedrag. Die verslag sal die vier faktore krities evalueer vir toepaslikheid en ook fokus op die instrumente wat die faktore evalueer. Aanbevelings sal ook gemaak word ten opsigte van die korrekte en beste metodes wat gevold moet work tydens 'n KGPG studie. Die struikelblokke wat ondervind kan word tydens 'n KGPG studie asook hoe om dit te oorkom sal bespreek word. Ariā – Abstract This thesis is concerned with discovering if and how Māori cultural performance, which we now know as Kapa Haka, has contributed to the creation and development of a modern Māori identity. Māori cultural identity is traditionally traced through whakapapa and is confirmed by a practising knowledge of te reo Māori, kawa and tikanga. Whakapapa links a person to his or her atua, tangata, whenua, tūrangawaewae, marae, whānau, hapū, iwi and waka. The question arises as to whether these are still essential elements in defining a modern Māori (cultural) identity. I want to find out what that modern Māori identity looks like and how it is described. I say it is described in and by Kapa Haka. The framework used for this thesis is that of a Kapa Haka performance, starting with the whakaeke – introduction, and ending with the whakawātea - exit. It weaves together personal histories - my own and those who have memory of the first Festival in 1972 and other developments. It also incorporates social history as it has affected Māori. It looks at the impact this has had on Kapa Haka from the early concert parties set up for tourist consumption, to iwi and Hāhi hui, to Te Matatini in the present, all the while developing an argument for a modern Māori identity. In undertaking to write this doctoral thesis in Theatre and Film Studies, I have placed myself in a position where I have to step outside of my assumptions of what I think I know about who I am and what I am. This is in order to attempt to explain what I mean by not only a cultural identity, but also a modern Māori identity, as identified in Kapa Haka, so that others will understand. I need to be able to sing the song when I need to, remembering that it is what I do best.

There are many Information System requirement specification methods, but not much of them are related with goals. This work presents analysis of methods related with goal modelling and requirement specification. The field of this work is specification methods of goals and requirements. The object of this work is goal driven requirement specification process. The problem of the work is alignment of requirements to business goals and tracing the compliance of goals, requirements and design artefacts during development process. The main result of analysis is revealing of perspectives for extending requirement specification method with goal modelling and analysis, relating and tracing goals to requirements and software artefacts, and integration of these steps into standard unified development process. For this purpose, a UML profile was created and implemented in CASE tool “Magic Draw”. Experimental investigation of created means by applying them to IS development demonstrated the suitability of the approach. Daugelyje organizacijų aktuali informacinių technologijų atitikimo veiklos poreikiams problema. Vienas iš būdų ją spręsti – susieti informacinių sistemų programinės įrangos reikalavimų specifikacijas su veiklos tikslais. Dėl reikiamų modeliavimo priemonių CASE įrankiuose nebuvimo tikslų modeliavimas praktiniuose kūrimo procesuose yra neatliekamas arba atliekamas tik dalinai. Planuojant informacinių sistemų projektus, tikslinga analizuoti tikslus, nes taip galima padidinti informacinių sistemų tinkamumą veiklos poreikiams. Šio darbo tyrimo problema yra reikalavimų suderinamumas su veiklos tikslais, taip pat tikslų, reikalavimų ir juos realizuojančių artefaktų atitikimo sekimas projektavimo metu. Darbo tikslas yra sudaryti reikalavimų specifikacijos modelį, kuriame specifikacijų elementai būtų susieti tarpusavyje ir turėtų ryšį su organizacijos tikslais. Taip pat reikia pateikti priemones tikslų, reikalavimų ir artefaktų atitikimui sekti projektavimo metu. Sukurtas tikslais grindžiamų reikalavimų metamodelis ir UML profilis, realizuotas UML CASE įrankio Magic Draw DSL kūrimo priemonėmis, leidžia vaizduoti tikslus, su jais susijusius panaudojimo atvejus ir detalizuotus reikalavimus. Abstract:

Informacinės sistemos kūrimas yra pagrįstas reikalavimų analize ir apdorojimu. Be šio proceso sistemos kūrimas tampa sunkiai įmanomas. Šiuo metu yra įvairių reikalavimų inžinerijos metodologijų. Dauguma iš jų pagrįstos grafine tiriamų objektų ir jų elgsenos vizualizacija. Darbe nagrinėjamos tikslais grindžiamos reikalavimų inžinerijos. Jos yra pagrįstos sistemos tikslais ir skirtos kompiuterinės programinės įrangos reikalavimams apdoroti. Pasirinkta magistrinio darbo tema – tikslais grindžiamas sistemos projektavimas. Ši tema aktuali tiems, kurie atlieka sistemos projektavimą pagal tikslais grindžiamus metodus. Darbo objektas: tikslais grindžiamos metodologijos. Darbo tikslas: papildyti tikslais grindžiamą metodą, skirtą sistemų projektavimui. Siekiant įgyvendinti darbo tikslą, iškelti šie uždaviniai:  Išanalizuoti magistrinio darbo objektą;  Atlikti pasirinktų tikslais grindžiamų metodologijų analizę;  Parinkti tinkamiausią metodą, skirtą tikslais grindžiamai reikalavimų inžinerijai;  Išskirti pasirinkto tikslais grindžiamo metodo trūkumus;  Atlikti DoDAF modelių analizę;  KAOS metodą papildyti reikalingais DoDaf modeliais;  Tikslais grindžiamo metodo naudojimui sukurti profilius su Magicdraw UML įrankiu;  Patikrinti metodo efektyvumą, projektuojant UAB „Ventos polimeriniai gaminiai“ gamybos planavimo sistemą. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] Goal-oriented requirement engineering has received much attention in recent years both by researchers and practitioners alike. In this paper I identify the uses of these approaches in analysis phases. The main object of the paper is to design goal-oriented method in order to model systems. That allowed to title Goal-Driven System Development. I was challenged to solve tasks and come to folowing outcomes. Analysis of the main goal-driven methodologies was represented in the first part as well as their advantages and disadvantages were described by benchmarking four goal-driven methods. The best methodology was chosen for the further analysis. Acccording to the distinguished disadvantages of DoDaf methodology was chosen in order to reduce the problems by modeling systems. A new goal-driven method was created in the second part. was created a. In order to increase its usefulness it was represented in UML. The profile was introduced by Magicdraw UML tool. The experiment was made in the third part in order to try the effectiveness of the new goal-driven method. Production plan system was modeled by using Magicdraw profiles.
