Full textThe background to health promotion leadership is becoming more common among different municipalities and counties. Previous research shows that health promotion leadership contributes a positive factor for an entire business . The well-being of employees will be promoted, which will may also promote the leader's well-being The purpose is to investigate how managers in elderly care in Västmanland describe health-promoting leadership and what work-related conditions they are given to be able to work health-promoting towards their employees. The method is based on a semi-structured qualitative interview guide where five informants are interviewed based on a target-driven selection method. A manifest content analysis is performed on collected material. The results show that the informants describe the meaning of a health-promoting leadership, but when it comes to the association to it as a concept, it was difficult for the managers to immediately connect. The prerequisites for conducting health promotion work were good communication between the manager and the employees, leadership qualities such as competence and responsive as well as the support function HR system. Conclusions that can be drawn based on the informants, are that health-promoting leadership is not presented as a specific leadership style, but as an approach that should permeate the activities for the well-being of all at the workplace. Good communication between manager and employees, leadership qualities such as competence and sensitivity towards employees and support functions, including HR-systems, were perceived as work-related prerequisites for conducting a health-promoting business. Full textI en utav Socialstyrelsens rapporter står att läsa att chefskapets betydelse inom vård och omsorgsyrket, spelar en viktig roll för bland annat de anställdas psykosociala arbetsmiljö och att kommunikation är bärande för förutsättningen att lyckas med detta. I denna uppsats har en kvalitativ studie gjorts om hur omsorgspersonal upplever att deras arbetsmiljö påverkas av maktsituationen i relationen till chefen. Dessa data analyseras sedan utifrån teorier om makt, kommunikation och känsla av sammanhang (KASAM). Resultatet visar på att informanterna upplever att chefens sätt att kommunicera är viktigt dels för känslan av sammanhang(KASAM) på sitt arbete , men också att det är beroende av kommunikationen om makten synliggörs eller inte.

Full textFloorball is today one of Sweden's biggest sports, which makes it interesting to know more about what affects the learning environment and well-being in floorball. The learning environment is everything that can affect learning, which means that it is a broad area with many factors that affect. The complexity of creating a good learning environment means that constant work is required that affects both leaders and players within floorball teams. The purpose of the study was to, from the perspective of active floorball players, shed light on the learning environment and well-being in sports. The theoretical basis of the study is based on a socio-cultural perspective and Sense of Coherence (SOC). The collection method for the material in the study consists of semi-structured interviews which were then analyzed through a qualitative content analysis. The results showed that there are many aspects that affect the learning environment where a safe and open learning environment together with different dimensions of the leadership in the team were highlighted as important. Community and learning were also considered important for the learning environment. As there are many aspects that come into play in a good learning environment, it is something that should be kept in mind by everyone involved within and around the team to make it visible if there is something that needs to be changed.
