In this proceeding, we report on the latest results of the KATRIN experiment on the effective electron anti-neutrino mass and the search for sterile neutrinos. KATRIN performed a high resolution and high statistics spectroscopy measurement of the tritium β-decay spectrum around its endpoint energy.
