Introduction. The presented study focuses on investigating the impact of acquired myopia on human central hemodynamics. Myopia, or nearsightedness, ranks as one of the most common ophthalmological disorders globally and in Ukraine, manifesting either congenitally or acquired over a lifetime. Ophthalmology specialists note a rapid increase in myopia cases across all age groups, with its prevalence posing a significant threat to vision and overall health. Viewing myopia as an adaptive response to a substantial visual strain one can presume that this adaptation might not be localized but generali

Vegetative status and adaptive capabilities peculiarities of aged 19 to 21 girls depending on their blood circulation self-regulation type were studied in this work. The study was conducted at the Biology Faculty of Zaporizhzhia National University, Zaporizhzhia. Such primary indices as heart rate and blood pressure were studied in all test individuals. Based on the obtained data, the blood circulation self-regulation type in each subject was determined separately, which allowed to form three groups (individuals with cardiovascular, vascular and mixed blood circulation self-regulation types).

Introduction. An imbalance in the autonomic nervous system regulation, known as dysautonomia, is one of the most common clinical syndromes that accompany several diseases. The balance between sympathetic and parasympathetic influences on the body can rapidly change during dynamic processes, especially in cases of infectious and acute diseases, where autonomic regulation plays an active role in shaping the immune response. In children with respiratory diseases, the influence of the vagus nerve (n.vagus) on the frequency and depth of breathing is also important but remains relatively understudie

This study is focused on developing an approach for spatial mapping of groundwater by considering four types of factors (geological, topographical, hydrological, and climatic factors), and by using different bivariate statistical models, such as frequency ratio (FR) and Shannon’s entropy (SE). The developed approach was applied in a fractured aquifer basin (Ameln Basin, Western Anti-Atlas, Morocco), to map the spatial variation of groundwater potential. Fifteen factors (15) influencing groundwater were considered in this study, including slope degree, slope aspect, elevation, topographic wetne
