The concept of a local integral, in contrast to D.Lynden-Bell [2], as a separate isolated surface, was introduced by V.A.Antonov [3] for an arbitrarily given field. Here we have the possibility of finding a trajectory in the presence of a local integral, in contrast to the true integral of motion with a local integral it is not always possible to completely find trajectories. In many applications of NMR spectroscopy to chemistry, quantitation play s a key role. This paper argues that peak heights not only can be used for quantitative work in NMR but that for careful work they should be used. Integrals are accurate, but because they depend on many subjective factors, their precision is suspect. Peak heights are very reproducible on modern spectrometers and so, given this precision, the accuracy can be obtained as well by using calibration methods. An example of the application of these methods is given in the case of a 13C labelling experiment that elucidates a phot

Abstract:
This chapter assesses a decade-long debate that occurred within the British community in Canton over how best to translate the word ‘yi夷‎’—as either ‘barbarian’ or ‘strangers’. The dispute first raged in the Canton Register for more than two years beginning in 1828, and played a key role in igniting the war argument in 1830. The community agreed that it meant ‘barbarian’, representing a Chinese conception of foreigners as uncivilised savages. The translation was in wide circulation after the 1835 war lobbying campaign in London and formed an integral part of the pro-war argument. However, by 1

Abstract While planning or building a brand-new DC transit system with all its new concrete and steel infrastructure, and an expected design life of 75 to 100 years, someone unexpectantly mentions these corrosive words – STRAY CURRENT. Concern sets in: What is stray current, how is it impacting us, and what do we do especially when we have pre-stressed and post tensioned elements in our infrastructure? There are stray current prevention and protection methods available, that when systematically applied throughout the life of your infrastructure, will alleviate these concerns. Prevention of str

Abstract A major accident is a “nightmare” which no one volunteers to experience in their life. In order to prevent this “nightmare” from coming true, a series of efforts need to be put in place together, with a high level of awareness and sustainable implementation. However, it is always much easier to describe these “complicated” steps to achieve the objective on paper, than it is to complete in the real operation. AIMS (Asset Integrity Management System) itself has become increasingly popular after the Piper Alpha, Macondo, BP Texas and many more other similar major accidents. Many efforts

Education is an integral part of every person’s life. Accordingly, the topic of education occupies a key place in any linguoculture, as educational concepts are embedded in people virtually from birth. In every language, words have their own history of origin. In Chinese, words are represented graphically, through characters, which have a history of origin dating back several millennia. In the course of the study it was found that the word «education» in China was already represented many centuries BC, starting with fortunetelling inscriptions on bones and shells of turtles, which allows us to

The article is devoted to the phenomenon of the so-called "lieutenant's prose" in Russian literature. The integral features of "lieutenant's prose" are the direct participation of its representatives in the Great Patriotic War, which gives the works their unique factual accuracy, anti-war pathos, the dominance of small genre forms, psychological realism as the principle of image, limited space, slowing down or accelerating time, marked front-line vocabulary. This article examines philosophical assumptions of whether and how happiness could become a goal of political action and standard for assessing government’s performance. It is argued that solidarity and care for the common good require the political economy of citizenship balanced with affirmation of the dignity of the human person in the form of basic human rights. The rule of law and fair procedures should be complemented with the concern for character development into citizenship and mature civic commitment. This unfolds both in faith-based and secular attempts to imagine and measure human

Recently, a lot of research efforts in software engineering have focused on integrating organizational modeling as a key piece in requirements engineering. In these research works, the business models are proposed as the source of the software requirements specification process. However, the majority of these works focus only on the definition of notations that permit the representation of the semantics of the organizational context, and only a few works define processes that use these notations in a methodological way.
