Objective - This study aims to criticize the meaning of taxpayer's compliance. Methodology – The paradigm used in this study is a qualitative design through dramaturgy theory. Findings and Novelty – The result of the study indicates that the present taxpaying compliance is still equivocal with multi-interpretation. The term "less compliant" implicating compliance by a condition, neither completely compliant nor completely incompliant. The voluntary compliance targeted in taxpaying is purely determined by the morality of each taxpayer. The novelty of this research is the topic very interesting since there have been many topics talking about tax planning, self-corruption by taxpayers (an effort to reduce the reported amount of income tax), or some efforts to analyze influencing factors on the taxpayer's compliance, but does not study the definitions form taxpayer perspective. The understanding of taxpayers' regulatory compliance still remains a big question. There have been some studies discussing about the taxpayers' regulatory compliance. Its variety of variables covers: 1) tax cognition, 2) tax understanding, 3) sunset policy, 4) tax amnesty, 5) tax sanction, 6) taxpayer awareness, 7) tax authorities service, 8) taxpayer's willingness, 9) perception on service effectiveness, 10) tax automation, 11) taxpayer's environment, 12) tax tariff, and 13) many more. A number of studies on the taxpayers' regulatory compliance mentioned indicate that this topic is still a special concern, and the main focus tends to center on the factors affecting on the taxpayers' regulatory compliance. This study does not refocus on influencing factors on the taxpayers' regulatory compliance. This study aims to criticize the understanding of the prospective and the taxpayers' about the taxpayers' regulatory compliance. It is sometimes measured from administrative regulation, punctuality, or willingness for payment. Unfortunately, self-understanding about the taxpayers' regulatory compliance has not been seriously taken for implementation. Based on the results of the analysis found evidence that simultaneously or partially justice and tax knowledge affect the compliance of Individual Taxpayers in Malang. In order to improve taxpayer compliance, the KPP Pratama office in Malang provides taxation knowledge to the public through intensive, consistent and sustainable tax education. In addition, it is necessary to increase the quantity and quality of tax education counseling so that the public's tax knowledge increases and become more aware and compliant in carrying out their tax obligations. Anemia is a reduced levels of Hemoglobin (Hb) in the blood. Anemia is one of the most common disorder that occurs during pregnancy, with the condition of Hb levels below 11 gr% Supplementation iron or granting tablet. Fe is an attempt important in prevent and handle Anemia, especially iron deficiency Anemia. Compliance consume iron tablets in measuring instrument from accuracy of the total tablets which was consumed, the accuracy of consuming manner iron tablets, the frequency of consumption each day. Objective: To identify relations factors predisposing, compliance in consum iron tablet and levels hemoglobin of pregnant mothers in Puskesmas Mangli Kabupaten Jember. The study ofobservation analytic. Research instruments to collect database by giving questionnaire and examination levels hemoglobin. Subjekts are 32 pregnant women. Analysis using spearmen correlation rank showed the relationship between age to compliance mother in consume iron tablet (p = 0,015), there was a correlation between mothers education pregnant with compliance pregnant mothers in consume iron tablet (p = 0,001), there was a correlation between knowledge pregnant mothers with compliance pregnant mothers in consume iron tablet (p = 0,001), there was a correlation between a pregnant mothers with compliance pregnant mothers in consume iron tablet (p = 0,003), there was a correlation between compliance pregnant mothers in consume iron tableton the hemoglobin pregnant mothers (p = 0,000). The most dominant factor which affect the compliancy consumingiron tablet during the pregnancy was pregnant mother’s attitude with the score odds ratio (OR) 4,328. There was a connection between the predisposing with compliance pregnantmothersin consume iron tablet and there wasa link between compliance in consume iron tabletto the pregnant mother’s hemoglobin and the most predisposition dominant factor which affect the compliancy consumingiron tablet during the pregnancy was pregnant mother’s attitude. ABSTRACT Hypertension is a disease that contributes to death by 29.8%, factors that cause an increase in the prevalence of hypertension include patient compliance, compliance itself is influenced by one's behavior factors, one of which is knowledge. This study aims to look at the effect of the level of knowledge on the compliance of taking drugs with hypertension in Roworejo Public Health Center, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung. This research is a descriptive analysis research, conducted by giving a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability and has obtained ethical permission from the ethics committee of Malahayati University, Bandar Lampung with No.485 / EC / Kep-UNMAL / VII / 2019. The level of compliance with drug taking can be seen from the recap of prescriptions for hypertension in April-June 2019. The category of adherence level uses the formula MPR (Medication Possession Ratio) which is <80% categorized as non-compliant and> 80% categorized as compliant. The data is then analyzed using linear regression, if the significant value <0.05 means that there is an influence between the variable X on the Y variable, if the significant value> 0.05 means that there is no influence between the variable X on the Y variable. The results showed that the most hypertensive patients aged> 60 years 81%, female sex 59%. The level of knowledge of the respondents mostly had medium knowledge 98% and high knowledge 2%. The level of compliance with respondent's drug taking was only 3% of respondents who were compliant and 97% of respondents were not compliant From the results of linear regression analysis in this study showed that the value of Significant value 0.000> 0.05, which can be concluded that there is an influence between the variable level of knowledge of the level of compliance with drug taking. ABSTRACT INTRODUCTION For general practitioners, practice nurses and community pharmacists in New Zealand, a core duty is to educate patients about sun protection. We aimed to evaluate compliance of locally available sunscreens with regional clinical practice guidelines and sunscreen labelling standards, to assist clinicians in advising consumers on sunscreen selection. METHODS We audited all sunscreens available at two Auckland stores for three New Zealand sunscreen retailers. We then assessed compliance with accepted regional clinical practice guidelines for sun protection from the New Zealand Guidelines Group. We further assessed compliance with regional Australia/New Zealand consumer standards for sunscreen labelling. RESULTS All sunscreens satisfied clinical guidelines for broad-spectrum protection, and 99% of sunscreens met or exceeded clinical guidelines for minimal Sun Protection Factor. Compliance with regional standardized labelling guidelines is voluntary in New Zealand and 27% of audited sunscreens were not fully compliant with SPF labelling standards. DISCUSSION Sunscreens were generally compliant with clinical guidelines for minimal sun protection. However there was substantial noncompliance with regional recommendations for standardized sunscreen labelling. Primary health care clinicians should be aware that this labelling noncompliance may mislead patients into thinking some sunscreens offer more sun protection than they do. Mandatory compliance with the latest regional labelling standards would simplify sunscreen selection by New Zealand consumers. The implementation of e-filling is a step that the DGT expects to be able to improve individual taxpayer compliance. Many factors that can affect taxpayers are still not compliant in paying or reporting annual tax returns, which is perhaps one of them is understanding taxation. This research is quantitative with the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The criteria set for taking samples in this study are individual taxpayers who have used e-filling and registered with the South Batam KPP and collected data using questionnaires distributed online and directly to respondents the number of questionnaires distributed was 110 respondents and those who returned and can be processed as many as 105 respondents. The results obtained from this study are (1) the application of e-filling has a significant effect on individual taxpayer compliance with a sig value of 0.038 (2) understanding of taxation has a significant effect on individual taxpayer compliance with a sig value of 0.002 (3) simultaneously the application of e-filling and understanding of taxation have a significant effect on individual taxpayer compliance with a value of sig 0,000. Non-compliance in contact lens wear poses risks for microbial infection. Understanding the scope and extent of non-compliance behaviour is vital for eye care practitioners in deciding which aspect of lens care is critical when consulting patients. A survey was done to assess the level and scope of non-compliance behaviour among 66 young contact lens wearers. Overall, more than half of the participants (52%) did not comply with lens wear and care regimens. The most non-compliant behaviour was the lens cleaning procedure (59%). This paper investigates the existence of January Effect in Indonesia and Malaysia Shari’ah stock market and the implication for stock market efficiency. Shari’ah Compliance is relatively a new industry both for Indonesia and Malaysia, although the growth is continously increasing over the year. There are significant differences between investing in Shari’ah compliant than the conventional stock market, since Shari’ah capital market have to followed a set of rules form the stock exchange and also followed Islamic capital market law and principles. Study that focusing about Shari’ah compliance both for Indonesia and Malaysia is still rare, that is why this study taking one step further by examining the january effect in Indonesia and Malaysia Shariah compliance. Regression model with dummy variables and monthly price of companies that classified in the Indonesia and Malaysia Shari’ah compliance from January 2000 to December 2012 to test the Janaury effect in the stock return of Indonesia Shari’ah compliance and Kuala Lumpur Shari’ah compliance. It was empirically found that, although Janaury anomaly does not exist in Indonesia Shari’ah compliance and in Kuala Lumpur Shari’ah compliance. Other result showed that both Shari'ah compliance also enjoyed significant return in other month beside January which is July for Indonesia and September, October and November for Malaysia, which raises question against Efficient Market Hypothesis (EMH).

The present study aimed to evaluate the applicability of internal controls and compliance activities in combating corporate fraud, as the perception of professionals working in the areas of monitoring. The research sample was selected based on the population of professionals in the areas of internal control, auditing and controllership, accessed through the professional social network Linkedin (specific groups of professionals in the field) and relationship network, then the sample was convenience. The instrument used to collect the 102 responses answers was the SurveyMonkey. The methodology was qualitative and quantitative analysis, based on observations defined from the theoretical to the foundations of the program work. Among the main considerations you can emphasize that the activities resulting from the implementation of a code of ethical conduct and the channel of complaints through internal controls and tools subsequently monitored through the areas of compliance and internal audit have conditions to minimize corporate fraud in the three main strands of the tree of the fraud (Corruption, misappropriation of assets and fraudulent financial statements). Highlighting the perception of respondents, despite the growing trend of incidents, is irrefutable the knowledge about the subject, communication, monitoring, being compliance, as well as periodic review of internal controls and regulatory are tools fully viable as to the applicability to combat corporate fraud in Brazil.
O presente estudo tem como objetivo avaliar a aplicabilidade das atividades de controles internos e compliance no combate a fraudes corporativas, conforme a percepção dos profissionais que atuam nas áreas de monitoramento. A amostra pesquisada foi selecionada tendo como base a população de profissionais das áreas de controle interno, auditoria e controladoria, acessados através da rede social profissional Linkedin (grupos específicos de profissionais da área) e redes de relacionamentos; logo a amostra foi de conveniência. O instrumento usado para coletar as 102 respostas foi o SurveyMonkey. A metodologia de análise foi qualitativa e quantitativa, baseada em observações definidas a partir da estrutura teórica que respaldou os fundamentos do trabalho. Entre as principais considerações pode-se destacar que as atividades resultantes da implantação de um código de conduta ética e do canal de denúncias, por meio das ferramentas de controles internos e posteriormente monitorados pelas áreas de compliance e de auditoria interna, possuem condições para minimizar as ocorrências de fraudes corporativas. Evidenciando a percepção dos pesquisados, apesar da tendência crescente dessas ocorrências, é irrefragável que o conhecimento, a comunicação, o monitoramento continuo, o estar em compliance, bem como a revisão perene dos normativos e controles internos são alicerces funcionais no combate às fraudes corporativas no Brasil.

ABSTRACT Background: The health information system, especially medical records in hospitals must be carried out accurately and completely. Medical records are important as evidence for the courts, education, research, and policy makers. This study aimed to investigate the factors affecting the compliance with completeness of filling patient’s medical records at hospitals. Subjects and Methods: A systematic review was conducted by searching from ProQuest, Scopus, and National journals using keywords medical records, filling of medical records, and non- compliance filling medical records. The abstracts and full-text articles published between 2014 to 2019 were selected for this review. A total of 62,355 articles were conducted screening of eligibility criteria. The data were reported using PRISMA flow chart. Results: Eleven articles consisting of eight articles using observational studies and three articles using experimental studies met the eligible criteria. There were two articles analyzed systematically from the United States and India, two articles reviewed literature from the United States and England, and seven articles were analyzed statistically from Indonesia, America, Australia, and Europe. Six articles showed the significant results of the factors affecting non-compliance on the medical records filling at the Hospitals. Conclusion: Non-compliance with medical record filling was found in the hospitals under study. Health professionals are suggested to fill out the medical record completely. ABSTRACT Background: Patient safety issues became a global health concern, especially the occurrence of avoidable complications from surgical procedures. In 2008, World Health Organization launched the Safe Surgery Saves Lives program to improve patient safety. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between compliance to surgery safety checklist and incidents among anesthesiology nurses in operation theater at Royal Prima General Hospital, Medan, North Sumatera. Subjects and Method: This study was a cross-sectional study conducted at Royal Prima General Hospital, Medan, North Sumatera, in August 2019. A sample of 25 anesthesiology nurses was selected by the total sampling. The dependent variable was incidents in the operating room. The independent variable was the compliance of anesthesiology nurses on performing surgical safety checklist. The data of nurse compliance were measured by the completeness of filling sign in, time out, and sign out surgical safety checklists. The data were analyzed by chi-square. Results: The incidents in the operating room reduced with compliance in surgical safety checklist filling, but it was not statistically significant (OR= 0.12; 95% CI= 0.01 to 1.95; p= 0.218). Conclusion: The incidents in the operating room reduce with compliance in surgical safety checklist filling, but statistically non-significant. Background: Adherence to treatment is important to reduce viral replication, improve clinical and immunological conditions, reduce the risk of developing ARV resistance, and reduce the risk of HIV transmission. Peer support is suspected to be one of the factors driving drug intake adherence in patients with chronic disease. This study aimed to examine the influences of peer support and psychosocio-economic determinants on treatment compliance in HIV/AIDS patients. Subjects and Method: This was a case control design study conducted in Sragen, Central Java, Indonesia. A sample of 200 people with HIV/AIDS (PLWH) was selected by fixed disease sampling. The dependent variable was treatment compliance. The independent variables were knowledge toward HIV/AIDS, perceived benefit, perceived belief, perceived threat, perceived susceptibility, perceived seriousness, perceived barrier, attitude, indirect experience, family support, and peer support. The data were obtained from medical record and questionnaire. The data were analyzed by a multiple logistic regression run on Stata 13. Results: Treatment compliance increased with strong peer support (b= 1.34; 95% CI= 0.31 to 2.38; p= 0.011), strong family support (b= 1.09; 95% CI= 0.16 to 2.02; p= 0.021), knowledge toward HIV/AIDS (b= 1.65; 95% CI= 0.67 to 2.64; p= 0.001), high perceived benefit (b= 1.23; 95% CI= 0.28 to 2.18; p= 0.011), perceived belief (b= 2.05; 95% CI= 0.98 to 3.12; p<0.001), and high perceived threat (b= 1.22; 95% CI= 0.30 to 2.13; p= 0.009). Treatment compliance decreased with negative attitude (b= -2.47; 95% CI= -3.58 to -1.37; p <0.001), low perceived susceptibility (b= -1.26; 95% CI= -2.24 to – 0.27; p= 0.012), low perceived seriousness (b= -1.11; 95% CI= -2.06 to -0.16; p=0.021), high perceived barrier (b= -1.76; 95% CI= -2.81 to -0.70; p= 0.001), and indirect experience (b= -1.10; 95% CI= -2.05 to -0.14; p= 0.024). Conclusion: Treatment compliance increases with strong peer support, strong family support, high knowledge toward HIV/AIDS, high perceived benefit, perceived belief, and high perceived threat. Treatment compliances decrease with negative attitude, low perceived susceptibility, low perceived seriousness, high perceived barrier, and indirect experience. Background: Covid-19 is a highly infectious disease. Primary prevention approaches, including personal protective measures, social distancing, and environmental surface cleaning, are required to contain disease transmission. This study aimed to investigate the compliance in implementing Covid-19 health protocols among cadres at Community Health Centre, Depok, West Java. Subjects and Method: This was a descriptive cross-sectional study conducted at Community Health Centre, Depok, West Java. A total of 73 cadres was selected for this study. The study variables were compliance on Covid-19 protocols, including mask-wearing, hand hygiene, physical and social distancing, level of education, level of Covid-19 knowledge, and other personal risk factors. The study subjects were selected by total sampling. The primary data were collected via WhatsApp group using questionnaires. The data were reported descriptively. Results: Two-third of study subjects were at age 40-50 years (61.64%). The majority of subjects were junior high school educational level (74.4%). All the study subjects complied to wear a face mask (100%). The majority of cadres possessed a high level of Covid-19 knowledge (57.53%). Most of the cadres were unemployment (72.88%). The common personal health problem was digestive problems (10.96%). Conclusion: The characteristics of cadres vary with age, educational level, level of compliance in Covid-19 protocols, work status, and level of Covid-19 knowledge. Background: People living with HIV / AIDS (PLWHA) have weak immune systems and are prone to infection. Therefore, PLWHA must take antiretroviral (ARV) to maintain their immunity. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of adherence to taking ARV fixed-dose combination (FDC) drugs and CD4 levels of HIV patients. Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sectional study conducted at Pengayoman Cipinang Hospital, Indonesia, in 2018. Total of 91 HIV patient over 17 years of age, had or had received FDC ARV therapy for at least 1 year, and did not experience drug-induced hepatitis were enrolled in this study. The dependent variable was CD4 level. The independent variable was level of adherence to taking ARV fixed-dose combination (FDC). The data were taken from the Voluntary Counseling and Testing Poli Pengayoman Cipinang Hospital. This study used secondary data from the Overview of HIV Care and ARV Therapy. The data were analyzed using Chi-square. Results: A total of 65.93% HIV patients had a good level of medication adherence and 79.12% had an increase of CD4 levels. There was a significant relationship between adherence to taking FDC ARV drugs and CD4 levels (OR = 6.50; 95% CI = 2.15 to 19.62; p<0.001), and it was statistically significant. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the level of adherence to taking FDC ARV drugs and CD4 levels. Therefore, patients must receive education and support to improve adherence to taking ARV drugs. Background: Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency is a district where filariasis is endemic. In 2018, the Microfilaria rate (Mf rate) was 1.33% and is the only district / city in Jambi Province with an Mf rate > 1%, so mass treatment was performed again for 2 years (2017-2018), but cases have still been identified. Novelty in 2019. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the incidence of filariasis in the physical, biological, social and cultural environment and the dominant factors in the incidence of filariasis. Subjects and Method: This was a case control design conducted in Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency from March to July 2020. Total of 84 patients with filariasis were enrolled in this study. The dependent variable was the incidence of filariasis while the independent variables were the socio-cultural environment and individual characteristics (age, education, occupation, income, level of knowledge, spending habits of the day, preventive measures, and compliance with prophylactic medication), attitude (physical environment), The data were collected using questionnaire and environmental observation. Data were analyzed using a multiple logistic regression. Results: Most of patients with filariasis were male (61.9%), had low education (73.8%), was a farmer, and 60% had a job at risk of developing filariasis. Age (OR = 0.16 ; 95%CI= 0.06 to 0.41), education (OR = 4.50 ; 95%CI= 1.56 to 12.96), occupation (OR = 4.66, 95% CI = 1.76 to 12.31), adherence to taking prophylactic medication (OR = 4.70, 95% CI = 1.83 to 12.04) were affected on the filariasis incidence. Adherence to taking prophylactic drugs was the most dominant risk factor for filariasis (OR = 12.97; 95% CI = 3.35 to 50.15). Conclusion: Following control for resting place, occupation, age and height of residence, the most dominant factor in the incidence of filariasis is adherence to taking prophylactic drugs. Background: By products of wood processing such as wood dust and noise are well known with respect to occupational health effects in workers at plywood plants. Previous studies suggested that workers in sawmills, plywood/particle board factories, and veneer plants are at risk of developing allergenic disorders, lung disease, and cancer. Employers have duties concerning the provision and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at work. PPE is equipment that will protect the user against the risk of accidents or of adverse effects on health. This study aimed to investigate factors affecting the use of personal protective equipment among workers at a plywood plants. Subjects and Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted in Lumajang, East Java, in December 2019. A sample of 200 workers was selected randomly. The dependent variable was the use of PPE. The independent variables were motivation, training, attitude, outcome expectation, perceived benefit, vicarious experience, observational learning, regulatory compliance, and reinforcement. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by a multiple logistic regression. Results: The use PPE increased with high motivation (OR= 7.00; 95% CI= 1.46 to 33.54; p= 0.015), had trained (OR= 22.56; 95% CI= 3.43 to 148.35; p= 0.001), positive attitude (OR= 8.66; 95% CI= 1.71 to 43.84; p= 0.009), high outcome expectation (OR= 5.71; 95% CI= 0.83 to 39.02; p= 0.075), high perceived benefit (OR= 8.60; 95% CI= 1.63 to 45.32; p= 0.011), vicarious experience (OR= 16.89; 95% CI= 3.13 to 91.01; p= 0.001), observational learning (OR= 25.78; 95% CI= 4.36 to 152.54; p<0.001), compliance to regulation (OR= 5.80; 95% CI= 0.93 to 35.83; p= 0.058), and reinforcement (OR= 4.83; 95% CI= 1.14 to 20.47; p= 0.032). Conclusion: The use PPE increases with high motivation, had trained, positive attitude, high outcome expectation, high perceived benefit, vicarious experience, observational learning, compliance to regulation, and reinforcement. Since 2013, City of Denpasar government has adopted smoke-free law regarding smokefree areas including worship places. However, compliance with smoke-free law at worship places remains low. The implementation of the law faces several obstacles particularly at Hindu temples since it is mostly semi-opened spaces and high social acceptability of smoking where cigarette and smoking have been deeply engrained within social and religious life. Hence, this study aims to assess factors that associated with smoking behavior at worship places particularly at Hindu temple in Denpasar Bali Indonesia. This study was a cross-sectional study, conducted in the city of Denpasar, involving 192 samples which selected using multistage random sampling. The data was collected using a structured questionnaire then analyzed using path analysis. There were 12 factors analyzed such as past behavior of smoking, exposure to anti-smoking policies, nicotine dependence, knowledge and attitude regarding second-hand smoke, knowledge and attitude regarding implementation of smoke-free law, sociodemographic (age, education), social norms of smoking (descriptive and injunctive). Of the 11 factors, 5 factors had a significant effect on smoking behavior. Past behavior of smoking had a direct negative effect with a standardized coefficient (beta) -0.34 (p<0.01); followed by nicotine dependence which had an indirect negative effect (beta -0.07; p=0.01). Meanwhile, positive direct and indirect effects showed by descriptive norms (beta 0.14; p=0.04); injunctive norms (beta 0.15; p=0.02) and education (beta 0.14; p=0.03). Past behavior of smoking had the highest effect on smoking behavior in worship places. Hence, continuous education, socialization and improved supervision to the implementation of smoke-free law remain crucial. Abstract: The aim of presented paper is to grasp a sense in which Le Corbusier influenced his professional partners within ATBAT at 35 rue de Sèvres in Paris. On the example of Iannis Xenakis (Greek) and Jerzy Sołtan (Pole), which curriculum and experience will be superposed, authors wish to analyse a means in which the formation of Le Corbusier’s Collaborators induced a profoundly individualistic paths of both apprentices. Moreover it enabled both artists to develop autonomous views on creative activities, which still stayed in mutual compliance. That allows to speculate upon the forcefulness of approach towards passing skills that Le Corbusier applied in his Studio. With a parallel example of two pavilions for the World’s Fare Expo’58 in Brussels, it is presented how compatible, despite of being completely different in form, those two projects are. Resumen: El objetivo del articulo es comprender cómo Le Corbusier influenciado sus socios profesionales en ATBAT a los 35 rue de Sèvres en Paris. Con un ejemplo de Iannis Xenakis (griego) y Jerzy Sołtan (polaco), autores desean analizar un medio en el que la formacion de Colaboradores de Le Corbusier indujo a profunda indualistas sendas de los dos aprendices. In September 2015, Ghana along all UN member states endorsed the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as the cardinal agenda towards achieving a prosperous global future. The SDGs are strongly interdependent, making progress in all goals essential for a country’s achievement of sustainable development. While Ghana and other West African nations have exhibited significant economic and democratic development post-independence. The judiciary system and related legal frameworks, as well as the lack of rule law and political will for safeguarding the human rights of its citizens, falls short of considering violations against minorities. Will Ghana be able to localize human rights related SDGs, given that West African governments historically tended to promote internal security and stability at the expense of universal human rights? This paper focuses on evaluating the commitments made by Ghana towards achieving Agenda 2030, with a particular focus on the SDGs 10 and 16 relating to the promotion of reduced inequalities, peace, justice and accountable institutions. Moreover, this paper also analyzes legal instruments and state laws put in place post Ghana’s democratization in 1992 for the purpose of preventing discrimination and human rights violations in the nation. The article aims to highlight how Ghana’s post-independence political experience, the lack of rule of law, flaws in the judiciary system, and the weak public access to justice are obstacles to its effective localization of human rights SGDs. Those obstacles to Ghana’s compliance with SDGs 10 and 16 are outlined in this paper through a consideration of human rights violations faced by the Ghanaian Muslim and HIV minorities, poor prison conditions, limited public access to justice and the country’s failure to commit to international treaties on human rights.
