Abstract:
Nowadays, scholar recommender systems often recommend academic papers based on users’ personalized retrieval demands. Typically, a recommender system analyzes the keywords typed by a user and then returns his or her preferred papers, in an efficient and economic manner. In practice, one paper often contains partial keywords that a user is interested in. Therefore, the recommender system needs to return the user a set of papers that collectively covers all the queried keywords. However, existing recommender systems only use the exact keyword matching technique for recommendation decisions, while neglecting the correlation relationships among different papers. As a consequence, it may output a set of papers from multiple disciplines that are different from the user’s real research field. In view of this shortcoming, we propose a keyword-driven and popularity-aware paper recommendation approach based on an undirected paper citation graph, named PRkeyword+pop. At last, we conduct large-scale experiments on the real-life Hep-Th dataset to further demonstrate the usefulness and feasibility of PRkeyword+pop. Experimental results prove the advantages of PRkeyword+pop in searching for a set of satisfactory papers compared with other competitive approaches.

Abstract:
Recently, the number of sites on the Internet which give users the opportunity to write their ideas and opinions for the public to read have been increasing. In addition, the number of people who want to know the opinions of others about interesting products has also been increasing. However, it is very difficult for people to read complete reviews on the Internet. This study tries to develop a new system for the analysis of reviews, a system which shows evaluation information about products using graphs of evaluation keywords. This paper focuses on the extraction of evaluation keywords from reviews on the Internet. This paper proposes a method for extracting evaluation keywords and displays its results as graphs. It employs HK Graph (Hierarchical Keyword Graph), which can visualize the relationship among words in a hierarchical network structure based on the co-occurrence information for the keyword graph.

Abstract:
This paper explores keywords, key part-of-speech categories and key semantic categories and their role in text analysis. The first part of the paper addresses a set of issues relating to the definition of keywords and their history, the settings used in deriving keywords, the choice of reference corpora, the different kinds of keyword that emerge in one’s results and the dispersion of keywords in one’s data. It argues, amongst other things, that keywords are the same as style markers, and that three types of keyword can be identified: interpersonal, textual and ideational. The second part of the paper addresses the question of what precisely is to be gained from analysing key part-of-speech or key semantic domains in addition to keywords. It shows that whilst in general they add little to a keyword analysis, which is in any case methodologically more robust, there are some significant specific benefits. Answers to many of the questions posed in this paper are illustrated by a study of character-talk from Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, and in this way this paper also makes a contribution to the fledging field of corpus stylistics.

Abstract:
This paper explores two tools and methods for keyword extraction. As several tools are available, it makes a comparison of two widely used tools, namely Lexico3 (Lamalle et al. 2003) and WordSmith Tools (Scott 2013). It shows the importance of keywords and discusses recent studies involving keyword extraction. Since no previous study has attempted to compare two different tools, used by different language communities and which use different methodologies to extract keywords, this paper aims at filling the gap by comparing not only the tools and their practical use, but also the underlying methodologies and statistics. By means of a comparative study on a small test corpus, this paper shows major similarities and differences between the tools. The similarities mainly concern the most typical keywords, whereas the differences concern the total number of significant keywords extracted, the granularity of both probability value and typicality coefficient and the type of the reference corpus.

This paper proposes a method which regards the keywords provided by the authors of technical papers as terms and learns the statistics which distinguish terms from non-terms. Since it uses keywords as training data, it requires no hand-labeled training corpora manually annotated with terms. The proposed method was used to extract terms from the NTCIR morphologically tagged corpus and achieved 0.800 recall and 0.431 precision. The effectiveness of the proposed method has thus been demonstrated.

Abstract:
Purpose Identifying the frontiers of a specific research field is one of the most basic tasks in bibliometrics and research published in leading conferences is crucial to the data mining research community, whereas few research studies have focused on it. The purpose of this study is to detect the intellectual structure of data mining based on conference papers. Design/methodology/approach This study takes the authoritative conference papers of the ranking 9 in the data mining field provided by Google Scholar Metrics as a sample. According to paper amount, this paper first detects the annual situation of the published documents and the distribution of the published conferences. Furthermore, from the research perspective of keywords, CiteSpace was used to dig into the conference papers to identify the frontiers of data mining, which focus on keywords term frequency, keywords betweenness centrality, keywords clustering and burst keywords. Findings Research showed that the research heat of data mining had experienced a linear upward trend during 2007 and 2016. The frontier identification based on the conference papers showed that there were five research hotspots in data mining, including clustering, classification, recommendation, social network analysis and community detection. The research contents embodied in the conference papers were also very rich. Originality/value This study detected the research frontier from leading data mining conference papers. Based on the keyword co-occurrence network, from four dimensions of keyword term frequency, betweeness centrality, clustering analysis and burst analysis, this paper identified and analyzed the research frontiers of data mining discipline from 2007 to 2016.

Abstract:
This article focuses on the importance of the precise calculation of similarity factors between papers and reviewers for performing a fair and accurate automatic assignment of reviewers to papers. It suggests that papers and reviewers? competences should be described by taxonomy of keywords so that the implied hierarchical structure allows similarity measures to take into account not only the number of exactly matching keywords, but in case of non-matching ones to calculate how semantically close they are. The paper also suggests a similarity measure derived from the well-known and widely-used Dice's coefficient, but adapted in a way it could be also applied between sets whose elements are semantically related to each other (as concepts in taxonomy are). It allows a non-zero similarity factor to be accurately calculated between a paper and a reviewer even if they do not share any keyword in common.

Abstract:
When talking about the fundamentals of writing research papers, we find that keywords are still present in most research papers, but that does not mean that they exist in all of them, we can find papers that do not contain keywords. Keywords are those words or phrases that accurately reflect the content of the research paper. Keywords are an exact abbreviation of what the research carries in its content. The right keywords may increase the chance of finding the article or research paper and chances of reaching more people who should reach them. The importance of keywords and the essence of the research and address is mainly to attract these highly specialized and highly influential writers in their fields and who specialize in reading what holds the appropriate characteristics but they do not read and cannot read everything. In this paper, we extract new keywords by suggesting a set of words, these words were suggested according to the many mentioned in the researches with multiple disciplines in the field of computer. In our system, we take a number of words (as many as specified in the program) that come before the proposed words and consider it as new keywords. This system proved to be effective in finding keywords that correspond to some extent with the keywords developed by the author in his research.

Abstract:
Disciplineringen är kanske inte fel men bör belysas<br>AbstractThe end of this work is illustrative and is applicable to teachers experience of time and energy. Through schools and practices I’ve seen how the work as a teacher can be put into practice, now I do want to broaden my mind about how the practical matters stand. In the light of governingdocuments and litterature I want to analyse ruling praxis. My examination should be seen as a case study and my opinion poll is accomplished on two upper secondary schools and based upon a quantitative method. My result indicates that the time in first place goes to preparations, in second place to lessons, in third place to take care and mark papers and works and in fourth place to different kinds of contacts. I have seen that 70% say that the teaching profession, on different reasons but specially cause of markings and feelings of insufficiency, is particular tiring. My intention was not to give an answer. While I do see how the experince of time and energy can be connected to the change of ruling praxis and how the prevailing change can be connected to a disciplination of teaching profession. The disciplination does not have to be wrong although it should be a part of our awareness.

Abstract:
There is an increasing interest in understanding and visualising interactions between researchers and scientific fields. Depicting the interactions can be done multiple ways. Furthermore, when many elements are involved, graphs is a good way to illustrate the interactions. Therefore, this report will investigate the interactions between scientific fields and how the interactions may reveal the emergence of new research fields and subdisciplines. Keyword networks is a growing research field that can show a great deal about the different trends in science. The purpose of this study is more specifically to produce a keyword network based on the articles in the database DiVA, which KTH Royal Institute of Technology and other universities in Sweden use to store scientific reports. All articles published by KTH researchers between 2010-2017 were collected from DiVA by web crawling. The collected data was then used to create graphs where articles were represented by nodes and an edge between nodes was made if two articles had one or more keywords in common. The method was based on the earlier scientific study conducted by Li et al. The results showed that the number of connections between articles in-creased when more articles shared one or more keywords from the year 2010 until 2016. The year 2017 was an exception since the results drastically differed. Finally, the conclusion was that KTH’s connections in research has increased between the years 2010 and 2016. Scientists are also immersing themselves in fields rather than exploring new ones as was indicated by a decrease in new keywords associated with the papers.<br>Det finns ett ökat intresse för att förstå och visualisera samspel mellan forskareoch vetenskapliga områden.

The hypothesis is that the form of hiring this teacher puts him in a situation of lumpen-teacher , and that the low demand for casual teacher to perform this function relates to this fact, which is closely linked to non-recognition of importance of their action, the contradictory nature of their role and the conditions under which the exercise takes place, causing him to stop looking for this type of activity. The objective is to present, discuss and promote a reflection about it and contribute to studies on the subject to a possible analysis and perhaps the structure of a proper educational policy in this area. The author believes that the lack of studies on the subject justifies this research. From the literature review, it was noted that some research of authors addressed the issue, however from different points of view. The methodology included reading the basic and additional bibliography, documentary research (federal and the State of São Paulo s legislation), and, in addition, a case study and qualitative research. In a general historical context, priority was given to changes in labor relations and the teaching profession, the construction and deconstruction of rights acquired by the teacher, published in specific legislation, and, in the meantime, the figure of the casual teacher. The precarious situation of the teaching profession and its consequences was focused in a theoretical perspective, showing the picture of the deterioration of public teaching. The case study was conducted through systematic observation in a state school on the outskirts of the Great ABC Region (SP), as well as collecting statements or interviews from three casual teachers , three school principals, a manager of school organization and the São Paulo State Secretary of Education deputy secretary, in order to evaluate different looks. The study concludes with a discussion on the relationship between the elements of research. The results covered the issues regarding the proposed action and the hiring of the casual teacher, thus confirming the hypotheses for research.<br>Esta pesquisa busca diagnosticar como ocorre a contratação e a atuação do professor eventual do EF II e EM na rede pública de ensino do estado de São Paulo e se essa forma de contratação e de atuação é a causa da quase inexistência desse professor nessa rede.

Abstract:
Thesis (S.M.)--Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, 2007.<br>Includes bibliographical references (p. 105-108).<br>Modern applications provide interfaces for scripting, but many users do not know how to write script commands. However, many users are familiar with the idea of entering keywords into a web search engine. Hence, if a user is familiar with the vocabulary of an application domain, they may be able to write a set of keywords expressing a command in that domain. For instance, in the web browsing domain, a user might enter the keywords click search button. This thesis presents several algorithms for translating keyword queries such as this directly into code. A prototype of this system in the web browsing domain translates click search button into the code click(findButton("search")). This code may then be executed in the context of a web browser to carry out the effect. Another prototype in the Java domain translates append message to log into log.append(message), given an appropriate context of local variables and imported classes. The algorithms and prototypes are evaluated with several studies, suggesting that users can write keyword queries with little or no instructions, and that the resulting translations are often accurate. This is especially true in small domains like the web, whereas in a large domain like Java, the accuracy is comparable to the accuracy of writing syntactically correct Java code without assistance.<br>by Greg Little.<br>S.M.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Several constructional projects in Sulaimani face to the delay, during the stages of designing and implementation. The delay refers to various causes. There are several key persons) resources) (templates) (clients) (factors) (characteristics) (parameters) that have direct effects on delay of the projects. The study was conducted and depended on two different methods practical and theoretical parts, for performing practical part two specific elites were chose, the first elite was the expert engineers that had actual practical involvement in construction projects and the second elite was the contractors that had a real suffering from delays of their projects. While the theoretical part was depended on reviews for the existing studies to collect information. The practical result showed that the five most effective key persons were the (1-Laws and Regulations, 2-Contractor, 3-Designer, 4-Resident Engineer, 5-Site Location) seriously. While the reviewed results for the existing studies showed (1-Designer, 2-Finance/payment, 3-Weather, 4-Unforseen circumstances, 5-Lack of Site management by Contractor). Keywords: Constructional projects delay, Time extension, Mistakes of design, Plan and scheduling, Variation order.

Abstract:
This paper presents a Spatial Keyword Preference Query (SKPQ) enhanced by Linked Open Data. This query selects objects based on the textual description of features in their neighborhood. The spatial relationship between objects and features is explored by the SKPQ using a Spatial Inverted Index. In our approach, the spatial relationship is explored using SPARQL. However, the main benefit of using SPARQL is obtained by measuring the textual relevance between features’ description and user’s keywords. The object description in Linked Open Data is much richer than traditional spatial databases, which leads to a more precise similarity measure than the one employed in the traditional SKPQ. We present an enhanced SKPQ and two experimental evaluations of the proposed approach, comparing it with the traditional SKPQ. The first conducted experiment indicate a relative NDCG improvement of the proposed approach over the traditional SKPQ of 20% when using random query keywords. The second experiment shows that using real query keywords, our approach obtained a significant increase in the MAP score.

Abstract:
There are currently more than a billion websites worldwide. In so many websites, everyone wants to be visible to search engines through the keywords that people search for. The article deals with the process of creating keywords, through which we can identify the intention of the searcher. The process of creating keywords consists of several steps, namely the collection of keywords, subsequent cleaning of keywords, their categorization and the last step is the interpretation of keywords. The paper focuses mainly on the categorization of keywords, which we obtain through the use of statistical methods, which includes a method of visualizing relationships between keywords by determining the strength of the association between words called concept linking or term map.

Abstract:
Biology is a good source of analogies for engineering design. One approach of retrieving biological analogies is to perform keyword searches on natural-language sources such as books, journals, etc. A challenge in retrieving information from natural-language sources is the potential requirement to process a large number of search results. This paper describes how inserting metadata such as part-of-speech, word sense and lexicographical data for each word in a natural-language source can help users identify relevant biological stimuli for biomimetic design. Although this research is still exploratory, initial qualitative observations demonstrate successful identification and separation of biological phenomena relevant to either desired functions or desired qualities. In addition, by incorporating the aforementioned metadata, we can automatically remove search results where search keywords act on abstract nouns or where keywords are used in irrelevant senses. The benefits of embedding metadata are demonstrated through a case study on the redesign of a fuel cell bipolar plate. In this case study, our method can be used to hide 64% of the search results that are unlikely to contain useful biological phenomena, reducing the effort to systematically identify relevant biological analogies.

S. Abdellatif, Omar. Localizing Human Rights SDGs: Ghana in context. Raisina House, 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.52008/gh2021sdg.

Full text
Abstract:
In September 2015, Ghana along all UN member states endorsed the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as the cardinal agenda towards achieving a prosperous global future. The SDGs are strongly interdependent, making progress in all goals essential for a country’s achievement of sustainable development. While Ghana and other West African nations have exhibited significant economic and democratic development post-independence. The judiciary system and related legal frameworks, as well as the lack of rule law and political will for safeguarding the human rights of its citizens, falls short of considering violations against minorities. Will Ghana be able to localize human rights related SDGs, given that West African governments historically tended to promote internal security and stability at the expense of universal human rights? This paper focuses on evaluating the commitments made by Ghana towards achieving Agenda 2030, with a particular focus on the SDGs 10 and 16 relating to the promotion of reduced inequalities, peace, justice and accountable institutions. Moreover, this paper also analyzes legal instruments and state laws put in place post Ghana’s democratization in 1992 for the purpose of preventing discrimination and human rights violations in the nation. The article aims to highlight how Ghana’s post-independence political experience, the lack of rule of law, flaws in the judiciary system, and the weak public access to justice are obstacles to its effective localization of human rights SGDs. Those obstacles to Ghana’s compliance with SDGs 10 and 16 are outlined in this paper through a consideration of human rights violations faced by the Ghanaian Muslim and HIV minorities, poor prison conditions, limited public access to justice and the country’s failure to commit to international treaties on human rights. Keywords: Ghana, human rights, rule of law, security, Agenda 2030
