Abstract:
This paper proposes a method which regards the keywords provided by the authors of technical papers as terms and learns the statistics which distinguish terms from non-terms. Since it uses keywords as training data, it requires no hand-labeled training corpora manually annotated with terms. The proposed method was used to extract terms from the NTCIR morphologically tagged corpus and achieved 0.800 recall and 0.431 precision. The effectiveness of the proposed method has thus been demonstrated.

Abstract:
Technical literacy is a component of professional competence of the pre-service technology teacher. However, the course content of technical disciplines in the pedagogical universities of Ukraine is not consistent with the content knowledge subsequently used in teaching practice of a technology teacher. Also, there is a need in general technical literacy of the students, yet it is developed only in its engineering design aspect. In the paper, it was proved that for the general technical literacy of pre-service technology teachers the basic concepts are the following technical phenomena: motion transmission, changes in kinematic parameters of motion, changes in force parameters of motion. Natural and scientific foundations of the machine drives were used as the basic topic-specific knowledge. It was hypothesized that effectiveness of teaching technical literacy to children would raise if the narrative about the technical phenomena is included in the content of the “Utility machinery” course for the pre-service technology teachers. The pedagogical experiment was performed in the Vinnytsia Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi State Pedagogical University (Ukraine). It included ascertaining, formative, and control stages. At the ascertaining stage of the pedagogical experiment, the students’ readiness level to study technical phenomena was determined. At the formative stage, the students’ readiness to develop children’s technical literacy was measured. At the control stage, students’ readiness level to develop technical literacy was estimated in experimental and control groups. Theoretical value of the results is in substantiating technical topic-specific content knowledge as necessary for the pre-service technology teachers. Practical significance of the results is in implementation of the narratives about technical phenomena in the learning practice of the students of pedagogical university. Abstract:
Purpose: to develop and experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of the methodology for teaching the basic technique of free-style wrestling in combination with physical training. Material and methods. The study involved 16 young athletes, 8-9 years old, a group of initial training, the first year of training, who were engaged in the department of free-style wrestling KZ «KDYUSSH №4» in Kharkov. The boys were divided into two equal groups (experimental and control), according to the results of testing the level of development of physical abilities (p>0,05). An experimental methodology of basic technical training for young freestyle wrestlers of the initial level of training was developed, which consisted not only of means and methods of teaching certain elements of wrestling techniques, but also a large number of preparatory, special exercises, games and game tasks, different in coordination complexity. It was on the basis of versatile coordination training, which was solved mainly by the game method, that the experimental methodology of the basic technical training of young athletes was built. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological sources; generalization of the practical experience of practitioners; pedagogical observations; pedagogical experiment; pedagogical testing; method of expert assessments; methods of mathematical statistics. Results: the advantage of young wrestlers in the experimental group was determined by almost all the studied indicators. A regularity was noticed, with an increase in the complexity of the exercise, the difference in the quality of its fulfillment by young wrestlers from the experimental and control groups increased. In special exercises, these are running to the subdominant side (t=6,20; p˂0,001), and throwing off the legs from the passage (t=3,27; p˂0,01), in the study of the quality of performing techniques in the stalls - a coup coasting (t=3,33; p˂0,01) in the study of technical readiness in a standing position - an incline throw with a hold of the legs (t=3,68; p˂0,01) knocking down with a hold of the legs (t=3,24; p˂0,01), as well as maneuvering (t=3,37; p˂0,01). There was no significant difference in the quality of performance of technical actions between the experimental and control groups, only in four of the sixteen studied indicators (p>0,05). Conclusions. The effectiveness of the experimental methodology of basic technical training of young wrestlers, used in the group of initial training, has been proved. According to most of the studied indicators, the advantage of young wrestlers in the experimental group was determined (p˂0,05-p˂0,001). The following tendency is observed, with an increase in the coordination complexity of the studied technical actions or movements, the probability of differences between the quality of this action fulfillment by young athletes of the experimental and control groups increases, in favor of the former. Only in simpler, in terms of coordination structure, movements, the advantages of the experimental group under study, confirmed by mathematical calculations, were not revealed (p˂0,05). Abstract:
It is substantiated that the loss of a control signal or a GPS navigation signal led more often to the loss of an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone). Therefore, when training drone operators, it is suggested to simulate the situation of loss of GPS navigation control signals. At the same time, the use of the Wi-Fi FPV video information transmission channel is proposed. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the proposals for technical equipping of the test site with educational and training facilities for the training of operators of unmanned aerial vehicles. Advantages and disadvantages of drone control systems with the help of an operator (using streaming video in real time) and GPS navigation equipment are considered. It is shown that computer technologies are the basis of educational and training tools and systems of a modern training ground, which make it possible to significantly increase the effectiveness of combat training of both an individual soldier and the coherence of the actions of entire units. With their help, on the basis of appropriate mathematical procedures, the environment is simulated with fairly high accuracy and a realistic picture of combat operations is reproduced. Further integration of modern software products into training equipment allows to expand their functional capabilities in the direction of increasing the quality characteristics of training while simultaneously minimizing material, resource and time costs. This will make it possible to combine separate types of weapons and military equipment, simulators of control devices, into a single training and modeling system for tactical personnel training in a single training complex. Abstract The purpose of this descriptive research project was to examine the technical standards of physician assistant (PA) programs for mental health keywords, phrases, and themes. Each program’s standards were analyzed, and keywords, phrases, and major themes were extracted and compared. The results demonstrate that most US PA programs include language related to mental health in their technical standards including theme areas of emotional health, emotional stability, mental health, emotional well-being, and stress management. No patterns between the wording of mental health content and accreditation status emerged. Given the increasing proportion of mental health diagnoses among the general population, and, by extension, applicants to PA training programs, institutions are encouraged to re-evaluate their technical standards to ensure they remain current and appropriate and contain language inclusive of mental health domains such as emotional stability, emotional health, and stress management.

Abstract:
Auditor self-efficacy (ASE), defined as auditors’ confidence in their capabilities to execute essential auditing tasks, is critical for audit effectiveness, particularly amid the profession's growing complexity and technological advancements. Despite extensive research on ASE in isolated competencies, limited empirical attention has been given to structured professional development interventions explicitly designed to simultaneously enhance multiple auditor competencies. This study empirically evaluated the immediate effects of a structured, interactive professional development workshop on ASE across three key domains: technical auditing skills, technological adaptation, and interpersonal communication. Grounded in Bandura’s social cognitive theory, the workshop comprised three weekly sessions (3 hours each), employing interactive exercises, mastery experiences, and structured feedback. A total of 63 practicing auditors participated, completing pre- and post-workshop evaluations using the validated Auditor Self-Efficacy (ASE) scale. Paired-sample t-tests revealed statistically significant improvements in all three domains (p < .001), with moderate-to-large effect sizes (Technical Skills: d = 0.77; Technological Adaptation: d = 0.66; Interpersonal Communication: d = 0.59). Qualitative analysis of participant reflections confirmed and enriched these findings, highlighting substantial gains in analytical proficiency, fraud detection capabilities, and communication effectiveness. The study provides clear empirical evidence supporting targeted, interactive training as a valuable tool for enhancing auditors' professional competencies and confidence. Practical implications and recommendations for future research are discussed. Abstract:
Haiti is a country which suffers from food insecurity, therefore, agricultural production and productivity are important to ensure availability of food for the Haitian population. Dissemination of best agricultural practices amongst farmers is crucial, and extension agents bring the scientific discoveries into the rural communities. In Haiti, extension activities are primarily conducted by graduates from agricultural TVETs. However, little is known about the current situation of Haitian TVET within the agricultural system. This study is a basic qualitative research which used constructivism, and backwards design as theoretical framework to explore the purpose of TVET within the Haitian agricultural system. Individual interviews to schools’ directors and teachers, and focus groups conducted with students revealed that respondents thought that TVET helped in students’ social mobility by (a) providing training to disadvantaged youth, (b) helping them get financial independence sooner, (c) provide a path towards higher education, or (d) entrepreneurship; it also allows them to build necessary (e) networking and (f) a reputation for their future. On the other hand, agricultural TVET in Haiti had an important role in improving local communities by (a) ensuring rural development and (b) reducing rural outmigration and poverty. Finally, TVET was also crucial within the agricultural extension system because graduates were responsible for (a) providing technical assistance to farmers, (b) improving production practices, (c) helping protect the environment, and (d) training farmers. Abstract:
Architecture is one of the technical fields with specific scientific, aesthetic, and social characteristics. The process of training in architecture is closely linked to technological development with the support of computers and design software. In the digital age and artificial intelligence technology, architectural design thinking and methods have changed a lot. With the development of science and technology, computers not only support the design of technical drawings but also affect the architectural creation process, especially artificial intelligence technology. In particular, the requirements for architectural aesthetics in the new era do not stop at works with simple shapes but require works with architectural shapes and the ability to calculate microclimate at a very complex level (parametric design works). Therefore, in the training of architecture majors at universities in Vietnam, adjustments must be made to suit the current trend of technological development. Abstract:
Agricultural activities in developing countries are critical for the future of the world’s food security. These countries have the lowest agricultural productivity and dissemination of agricultural technologies are often insufficient. Extension has a vital role in improving agricultural productivity. The Caribbean country of Haiti is one such case. In Haiti, agricultural technicians perform much of the extension field work. Agricultural technicians often have a diploma earned at a Technical, Vocational, Education and Training (TVET) school. However, not much is known about Haitian TVET schools, as little research has been conducted. This study explored the context for Haitian agricultural TVET. Individual interviews with four school directors and three teachers per school (12 total), as well as a student focus group in each school allowed to identify the ambiguous cultural value of agricultural TVET in Haiti. Results identified the cultural disregard for TVET through its stakeholders’ contempt for this sector as well as the government’s failure to support it appropriately. However, it was also found that TVET added value to the agricultural system both for its inherent qualities, and because of the reputation, competitiveness it creates for the graduates through the schools’ curricula, INFP recognition, and the networking experiences it facilitates notably with internships. Abstract:
Abstract: Purpose: This study aims to evaluate pre-test and post-test results of participants in SIGA's new technical training for BKKBN representatives in Lampung. Research methodology: The research method used in this study is the quantitative method. The data used is the primary data obtained from the pre- and post-test scores of 30 respondents. During this time, the data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis and paired t-test. Results: Through the Wilcoxon Matched-Pairs statistical test, it is known that the significance value (p-value) for the pretest and posttest data is 0.000 (<0.05). This shows that there is a statistically significant difference between pre-test and post-test results for New Siga Technical Training 2022 participants. Therefore, we can conclude that the knowledge of the participants are increasing after participating in the 2022 New Siga Technical Training. Limitations: For further research, it is hoped that researchers can take a larger number of samples to form a normal curve. Moreover, it is better if the Kirkpatrick evaluation model is fully implemented, the evaluation of the performance of the education and training implementation (at level 1 and level 2) as well as post-training evaluation (level 3 and level 4). Thus, the evaluation of education and training will obtain more comprehensive results. Contribution: The results of this study may be helpful to BKKBN Lampung for conducting proper training especially in evaluating learning outcomes. Keywords: 1. Training evaluation 2. International Journal of Research and Review 8, no. 9 (2021): 210–17. http://dx.doi.org/10.52403/ijrr.20210928.

Abstract:
The efficiency of any entrepreneur is a function of personal production skill, knowledge and experience acquired over time and exposure via training in the field of his or her enterprise focus. It is on this premise that this study examined the effect of extension training on technical efficiency of maize farmers in Ogbomoso Agricultural Zone, Oyo State, Nigeria. Multistage sampling procedure was adopted for the selection of One-hundred and Eighty-One (181) maize farmers, while structured and validated interview schedule was used to obtain necessary information from the sampled respondents. Data collected were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistical tools. The mean age of sampled farmers was 48 years and majority (80.1%) of the farmers was male. The farmers with extension contact have access to different extension trainings on maize production in the study area. The average household sizes were 7 and 8, with the average farm sizes of 1.423ha and 1.417ha for both contact and non-contact maize farmers respectively. Those farmers with extension contact were found to be technically efficient than non-contact farmers. Significant relationship existed between some selected socio-economic characteristics of both sampled maize farmers and their maize output. The study therefore suggests the need to create more awareness on the roles of extension services on crop production among farmers and the authorities concern with extension service delivery should improve on the frequency of extension contact in order to encourage farmers' participation in extension activities in the study area and rural communities in Nigeria at large. Keywords: Extension training, technical efficiency, contact and non-contact maize farmers.
