С целью повышения удобства пользования автоматизированной системой климат-контроля в помещении в статье разработан беспроводный пульт ее управления на базе лабораторного стенда – программно-технического комплекса КОНТАР Московского завода тепловой автоматики, оснащенного контроллерами, датчиками и исполнительными механизмами, использующимися в системах климатического контроля воздуха в помещении. Беспроводной пульт управления автоматизированной системой регулирования параметров микроклимата проектировался для разработанной ранее системы автоматического регулирования температуры воздуха, а также системы вентиляции воздуха в помещении. С помощью данного беспроводного пульта в любой момент времени можно совершить некоторые операции по изменению климатических параметров в помещении, не вставая с рабочего места, очень легко, путем нажатия на кнопки на пульте. Программные алгоритмы системы автоматического регулирования температуры воздуха и вентиляции воздуха в помещении были успешно реализованы на стендах экспериментальной модели системы климат-контроля на базе приборов программно-технического комплекса КОНТАР, что дало базу для разработки беспроводного пульта управления данной системой регулировки климат-контроля. Для полного охвата функционала системы в пульте дистанционного управления реализованы 4 кнопки с функциями: переключения между автоматическим и автоматизированным режимами управления; включения / выключения системы нагрева воздуха; включения / выключения системы охлаждения воздуха; включения / выключения системы вентиляции воздуха. Для проектирования электрических принципиальных схем и печатных плат использовался программный комплекс KiCad. Разработаны электрические принципиальные схемы приемника и передатчика. Разработана электрическая принципиальная схема платы сопряжения. Разработана печатная плата сопряжения. Разработанные схемы и пульт дистанционного управления могут быть использованы в автоматизированных системах управления климат-контролем в помещении.

Abstract:
The problem addressed in this paper is that design decisions can have a propagation effect spanning multiple life-phases influencing life-cycle metrics such as cost, time, and quality. It introduces a computational framework of a “Knowledge of life-cycle Consequences (KC) approach” aimed at allowing designers to foresee and explore effectively unintended, solution specific life-cycle consequences (LCCs) during solution synthesis. The paper presents a phenomena model describing how LCCs are generated from two fundamentally different conditions: noninteracting and interacting synthesis decision commitments. Based on this understanding, the KC approach framework has been developed and implemented as a Knowledge-Intensive CAD (KICAD) tool named FORESEE. The framework consists of three frames: an artefact life modelling frame, an operational frame, and an LCC knowledge modelling frame. This paper focuses on the knowledge modelling frame, composed basically of synthesis elements, consequence inference knowledge, and consequence action knowledge. To evaluate the influence of design decision consequences on artefact life-phases, cost, time and quality performance measures are used within the frame. Using these metrics, the life-cycle implications of a decision can be instantly updated and fully appreciated. An evaluation of the approach was carried out by applying FORESEE to thermoplastic component design. The results provide a degree of evidence that the approach integrates the activity of component design synthesis with the activity of foreseeing artefact life issues including fluctuations in life-cycle metrics. This makes the approach fundamentally different from the conventional approach in which first a candidate design solution is generated and then, at a penalty of extra time, an analysis of the solution for conflicts with artefact life issues is carried out. The framework thus provides a significant step towards the realization of a “Design Synthesis for Multi-X” approach to component design, although further work is required to exploit practically its utilization.

ABSTRACT The Community Chirping Mania Manokwari is a gathering place for chirping bird lovers in Manokwari Regency. This community maintains various birds spesies chirping to be contested on various occasions. The purpose of writing this essay is to provide information about the birds spesies chirping in the Community Chirping Mania Manokwari. This study uses descriptive methods with exploration, observation, and interview techniques. The results of research and data collection on 20 respondents who loved birds chirping obtained as many as 24 species of birds classified in 17 family and 21 genus. The birds spesies chirping are grouped into two race classes namely National (75%) and local (25%). The birds chirping consists of four origin areas or places for procurement of chirping birds, namely Java (50%), Manokwari (30%), Manokwari Forest (15%), and Sorong (5%). ABSTRAK Komunitas Kicau Mania Manokwari merupakan wadah perkumpulan para pencinta burung kicau di Kabupaten Manokwari. Komunitas ini memelihara berbagai jenis burung kicau untuk dilombakan pada berbagai kesempatan. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah memberi informasi tentang jenis-jenis burung kicau pada Komunitas Kicau Mania Manokwari. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik eksplorasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian dan pendataan terhadap 20 responden pencinta burung kicau diperoleh sebanyak 24 jenis burung yang diklasifikasikan dalam 17 suku dan terdiri dari 21 marga. Jenis-jenis burung kicau tersebut dikelompokkan ke dalam dua kelas lomba yaitu Nasional (75%) dan lokal (25%). Jenis burung kicau terdapat empat daerah asal atau tempat pengadaan burung kicau yaitu Jawa (50%), Manokwari (30%), Hutan Manokwari (15%), dan Sorong (5%).

Abstract:
ABSTRACTBackground:A quality dementia-screening tool is required for older remote Aboriginal Australians who have high rates of dementia and limited access to appropriate medical equipment and clinicians. The Kimberley Indigenous Cognitive Assessment (KICA Cog) is a valid cognitive test for dementia in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The KICA cognitive informant questionnaire (KICA Carer) had yet to be analyzed to determine validity alone or in combination with the KICA Cog.Methods:The KICA Carer was completed by nominated informants of 349 remote-living Aboriginal Australians in the Kimberley region, Western Australia. Validity was assessed by comparing KICA Carer with Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV) and International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) consensus diagnoses based on a blinded specialist review. KICA Carer and KICA Cog were then compared to determine joint validity.Results:A KICA Carer score of ≥3/16 gave optimum sensitivity (76.2%) and specificity (81.4%), area under curve (AUC) 0.89 (95% CI = 0.85, 0.94) with positive predictive value (PPV) of 35.8%, and negative predictive value (NPV) of 96.2%. A KICA Cog score of ≤33/39 gave a sensitivity of 92.9% and specificity of 89.9%, AUC 0.96 (95% CI = 0.94, 0.98), with PPV of 55.6% and NPV of 98.9%. Cut-off scores of KICA Cog ≤ 33/39 and KICA Carer ≥ 2/16 in series indicate possible dementia, with sensitivity of 90.5% and specificity of 93.5%. In this setting, PPV was 66.5% and NPV was 98.6%.Conclusions:The KICA Carer is an important tool to accurately screen dementia in remote Aboriginal Australians when the KICA Cog is unable to be used for a patient. It is readily accepted by caregivers.Key points:•For the best practice in the cognitive assessment of an Aboriginal Australian aged over 45 years, KICA Cog should be utilized.•In cases where Aboriginal patients are not assessed directly, KICA Carer should be conducted with an informant. Objectives: The objective of this study was to conduct a systematic review of evidence for the accuracy of the Kimberley Indigenous Cognitive Assessment (KICA) tool in supporting the diagnosis of dementia in Indigenous Australian populations. Methods: Cross-sectional diagnostic accuracy studies of the KICA with an appropriate reference standard published to November 2015 were included. Comparison to an alternative cognitive assessment tool was required in non-remote populations. Case control analyses were excluded. Results: Four studies were included: one of the KICA-Cog and KICA-Carer, one of the KICA Screen, and two of the modified-KICA. All tools developed for remote populations had a sensitivity of ≥76% and a specificity of ≥71% for the diagnosis of dementia. The KICA-Cog and KICA-Carer conducted in series had the highest sensitivity and specificity (91% and 94% respectively). In an urban and regional population, the mKICA had similar accuracy to the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) (AUC 0.93, 95% CI 0.88–0.99 vs 0.94, 95% CI 0.89–0.99). Key risk of bias limitations related to lack of pre-determined cut-points and population selection methods. Conclusion: The use of the KICA in remote Indigenous Australians may assist in timely diagnosis of dementia in this population. Using the KICA-Cog and KICA-Carer in series may maximise specificity, decreasing false positive results without compromising sensitivity.

Abstract:
In view of the randomness in the selection of kernel parameters in the traditional kernel independent component analysis (KICA) algorithm, this paper proposes a CPSO-KICA algorithm based on Chaotic Particle Swarm Optimization (CPSO) and KICA. In CPSO-KICA, the maximum entropy of the extracted independent component is first adopted as the fitness function of the PSO algorithm to determine the optimal kernel parameters, then the chaotic algorithm (CO) is used to avoid the local optimum existing in the traditional PSO algorithm. Finally, this proposed algorithm is compared with Weighted KICA (WKICA) and PSO-KICA with Tennessee Eastman Process (TEP) as the benchmark. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can determine the optimal kernel parameters and perform better in terms of false alarm rates (FAR), detection latency (DL) and fault detection rates (FDR).

Background: Indigenous Australians have a unique cultural heritage dating back many thousands of years. Unfortunately, there is no validated tool to assess cognition in older indigenous Australians. This study was designed to address this deficiency. The Kimberley Indigenous Cognitive Assessment (KICA) was developed with Indigenous health and aged care organizations, and comprises cognitive, informant and functional sections. The psychometric properties of the cognitive assessment section (KICA-Cog) are described in this paper.Methods: The KICA-Cog was tested in 70 indigenous subjects, of varying cognitive abilities and diagnoses, over 45 years of age. Subjects were interviewed using the KICA-Cog and then independently assessed by expert clinical raters using DSM-IV and ICD-10 criteria. Interrater and internal reliability were determined.Results: The KICA-Cog score showed no systematic interrater difference; the mean was −0.07 (SD = 1.83). Interrater reliability for 16 individual questions from the cognitive section revealed a κ-value ≥ 0.6 and intraclass correlations for 12 questions. Internal consistency, as assessed by Cronbach's α, was 0.88. Three items on the cognitive score (pension week, recall and free recall) effectively discriminated 85–7% of dementia cases. Sensitivity and specificity were 90.6% and 92.6%, respectively, using a cut-off score of 31/32.Conclusions: The KICA-Cog appears to be a reliable assessment tool for cognitive impairment in an Australian older traditionally living indigenous population.

In this paper, an improved kernel independent component analysis (KICA) algorithm is proposed for multi-user detection (MUD). In this algorithm, a new hybrid kernel function is adopted. In addition, the bat algorithm is applied to the optimizing process of independent component separation. Simulation results show that the new hybrid kernel function performs better in MUD than other kernel functions, and the improved KICA with bat algorithm has the smallest bit error rate (BER) when compared with classical FastICA and KICA algorithms.

Abstract:
Gearboxes are widely used in various kinds of applications. The normal operation of the gears contributes important roles on the machine performance. Due to harsh environment the rolling bearings are prone to failures. Hence, it is essential to detect the gear faults. However, the vibration signals of the gearbox are often contaminated, leading to deterioration of the fault diagnosis performance. To address this issue, a new approach is proposed based on the kernel independent component analysis (KICA) and BP neural network (BPNN). The KICA was used to extract sensitive signals to eliminate noise signals. Then a BPNN was adopted to detect the gear fault. To improve the fault identification, the Genetic Algorithm (GA) was adopted to optimize the BP parameters. Experiment tests using the gearbox fault simulator have been implemented. The test results show that the noise signals have been eliminated by the KICA and the GA-BPNN can detect the gear fault accurately. Moreover, through comparison with other existing methods, the proposed KICA-GA-BPNN produced the best detection rate of 93.7%.

Abstract:
A novel two-level integrated soft sensor modeling method using kernel independent component analysis (KICA) and support vector regression (SVR) is proposed for chemical processes. In the first level, the KICA approach is adopted to extract information of input variables in the high dimensional feature space. Based on this strategy, the correlation of input variables can be eliminated and thus the complexity is reduced. Then, the model is established using SVR in the second level. The KICA-SVR soft sensor modeling method is applied to estimate product compositions in the Tennessee Eastman process. The obtained results show that it can exhibit better performance, compared to the traditional ICA, principal component analysis (PCA) and kernel PCA based information extraction methods, under different operating conditions.

Abstract:
Under-determined blind source separation (BSS) of nonlinear mixed signals in multiple-fault detection of wind turbine gearbox has been considered a challenging issue for years. The paper addresses this problem and presents an efficient solution through a combination of empirical mode decomposition (EMD) and kernel independent component analysis (KICA) methods. The nonlinear mixture signals are firstly decomposed into a set of intrinsic mode function (IMF) components using EMD, which can be combined with the original observed signals to construct a set of new signals. Thus, the original problem can be effectively transformed into a problem of over-determined BSS, which can be solved by the use of KICA. The adoption of particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm can further enhance the performance of the EMD–KICA solution. The proposed solution is assessed through a set of simulation experiments and the numerical results demonstrate its effectiveness.

Abstract:
A hydraulic turbine runner has a complex structure, and traditional source location methods do not have the higher accuracy to meet engineering requirements. The source location of crack acoustic emission (AE) signals in hydraulic turbine blades has been researched by combining it with kernel-independent component analysis (KICA) as feature extraction, with support vector machines (SVMs) as position recognition. This method is compared with those applied SVMs with feature extraction using kernel principal components analysis without feature extraction. The results show that the recognition rate in the crack region is 100 per cent by using both original AE parameters and feature parameters. Support vector regression by feature extraction using KICA can perform better than the other methods. As a result, it is a better method for source location of complex big size structures to combine KICA with SVM. It decreases the dimensionality of input signals and also improves the accuracy of location.

Dengan sedikitnya informasi tentang lokasi kontes burung di kota malang pada penelitian ini penulis membuat sistem informasi geografis pemetaan lokasi kontes burung berkicau di kota Malang berbasis web,pengembangan sistem informasi ini dengan menggunakan metode pengembangan waterfall. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini diharapkan bagi para kicau mania kota Malang maupun dari luar kota bisa mengetahui dimana lokasi kontes burung yang akan mereka tuju.

Abstract:
Denoising is an essential part of fault signal analysis. This paper proposes a kernel independent component analysis (KICA)-based denoising method for removing the noise from vibration signal. By introducing noise components of the observed signal, one-dimensional observed signal is extended to multi-dimensional signal. Then performing KICA on multidimensional signal, the noise in the observed signal consistent with the introduced noise will be removed that achieve the purpose of denosing. The effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated by the case study.

The problem in this research is not understanding the advantages and disadvantages of the birds owned and the level of extinction of birds owned. The purpose of this research is to design an Android-based application for the bird enthusiast community. Twitter is an android based forum for the bird lovers community. The application of Android technology to information about the activities of the birds chirping community is an application that serves to provide effective information for members of the chirping mania community at various events, competitions and buying and selling birds. In this application users can post photos of birds, bird trading transactions. see news and race schedule information and tips on bird care to be ready to compete. This application was built using Android Studio and uses Business Model Canvas (BMC) design methods, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, and Mock-ups. The result can simplify the process of buying and selling birdsong, and makes it easier for community members to get information on various events related to birdsong. In Indonesian : Industri 4.0 sedang berkembang dan industri 4.0 adalah nama tren otomasi dan pertukaran data terkini dalam teknologi pabrik. Istilah ini mencakup sistem siber-fisik, internet untuk segala, komputasi awan, dan komputasi kognitif. Industri 4.0 menghasilkan "pabrik cerdas". Industry 4.0 dapat dilihat dari Lebih dari 50 persen atau sekitar 143 juta orang dari 262 juta orang Indonesia telah terhubung oleh jaringan internet sepanjang 2017, setidaknya begitu menurut laporan teranyar Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia. Permasalahan yang ada dalam penelitian ini yakni belum mengerti kekurangan serta kelebihan dari burung yang dimiliki dan tingkat kepunahan burung yang dimiliki. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang aplikasi berbasis android untuk komunitas penggermar burung. Kicau adalah forum berbasis android untuk komunitas pecinta burung. Penerapan teknologi Android pada informasi tentang kegiatan komunitas kicau burung adalah aplikasi yang berfungsi untuk memberikan informasi yang efektif bagi anggota komunitas kicau mania di berbagai acara, kompetisi dan jual beli burung. Dalam aplikasi ini pengguna dapat memposting foto dari burung, transaksi jual beli burung. lihat informasi berita dan jadwal balapan serta tip tentang perawatan burung agar siap bersaing. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan Android Studio dan menggunakan metode desain Business Model Canvas (BMC), Use Case, Activity Diagram, dan Mock-up. New approaches are proposed for complex industrial process monitoring and fault diagnosis based on kernel independent component analysis (KICA) and sparse support vector machine (SVM). The KICA method is a two-phase algorithm: whitened kernel principal component analysis (KPCA). The data are firstly mapped into high-dimensional feature subspace. Then, the ICA algorithm seeks the projection directions in the KPCA whitened space. Performance monitoring is implemented through constructing the statistical index and control limit in the feature space. If the statistical indexes exceed the predefined control limit, a fault may have occurred. Then, the nonlinear score vectors are calculated and fed into the sparse SVM to identify the faults. The proposed method is applied to the simulation of Tennessee Eastman (TE) chemical process. The simulation results show that the proposed method can identify various types of faults accurately and rapidly.

Metodologi yang digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi media pembelajaran ini menggunakan metodologi Multimedia Development Life Cycle terdiri dari enam tahapan, yaitu concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Firstly, A correlation coefficient matrix is composed by the correlation coefficient between two-two inde-pendent component derived from kernel independent component (KICA). Then the KIC is defined by the correlation coefficient matrix. Experimental results show that the KIC has a good effect for identifying the bearing and gear fault modes, so it can be used as sensitive character for rotating machinery fault diagnosis.

The domestic and overseas studies of redundant multifeatures and noise in dimension reduction are insufficient, and the efficiency and accuracy are low. Dimensionality reduction and optimization of characteristic parameter model based on improved kernel independent component analysis are proposed in this paper; the independent primitives are obtained by KICA (kernel independent component analysis) algorithm to construct an independent group subspace, while using 2DPCA (2D principal component analysis) algorithm to complete the second order related to data and further reduce the dimension in the above method. Meanwhile, the optimization effect evaluation method based on Amari error and average correlation degree is presented in this paper. Comparative simulation experiments show that the Amari error is less than 6%, the average correlation degree is stable at 97% or more, and the parameter optimization method can effectively reduce the dimension of multidimensional characteristic parameters.

Rolling element bearings are widely used in high-speed rotating machinery; thus proper monitoring and fault diagnosis procedure to avoid major machine failures is necessary. As feature extraction and classification based on vibration signals are important in condition monitoring technique, and superfluous features may degrade the classification performance, it is needed to extract independent features, so LSSVM (least square support vector machine) based on hybrid KICA-GDA (kernel independent component analysis-generalized discriminate analysis) is presented in this study. A new method named sensitive subband feature set design (SSFD) based on wavelet packet is also presented; using proposed variance differential spectrum method, the sensitive subbands are selected. Firstly, independent features are obtained by KICA; the feature redundancy is reduced. Secondly, feature dimension is reduced by GDA. Finally, the projected feature is classified by LSSVM. The whole paper aims to classify the feature vectors extracted from the time series and magnitude of spectral analysis and to discriminate the state of the rolling element bearings by virtue of multiclass LSSVM. Experimental results from two different fault-seeded bearing tests show good performance of the proposed method.

The expected renewal of peace negotiations between Syria and Israel is likely to bring up again an issue that has been the central component of territorial conflict between the two since 1948: sovereignty in what were, between 1949 and 1967, three demilitarized zones (DMZs) declared on the Israeli side of the Syrian–Israeli frontier. The DMZs, the regime that maintained them, and the significance they had for Syrian–Israeli relations have been studied at some length.1 This article contributes an analysis of the history and implications of one of the three DMZs from the point of view of those for whom the zone was and still is a homeland—the Kirad bedouin moiety, who are now displaced and dispossessed.

The running process of rolling bearing is often nonlinear and abnormal. Therefore, this paper uses the method which combing KICA and LS-SVM to achieve bearings' fault monitoring and classification. Firstly, the vibration signal is mapped into the high dimensional space by using kernel methods, constructing the I2, Ie2 and SPE indicator in the high dimensional space to monitor the process data. And then when the fault occurred, extracting the time domain and wavelet energy features to construct the multi-domain mixed feature set, and input the feature vector into LS-SVM for classification. Experimental results show the method can complete the fault monitoring and classification of rolling bearing effectively.
