Abstract:
Peralihan ke arah ekonomi kitaran yang lebih hijau memerlukan peraturan, dasar, pelaburan, inovasi, teknologi, dan juga perubahan tingkah laku di semua peringkat masyarakat. Kajian ini bertujuan menyiasat kesan teori tingkah laku terancang terhadap niat kitar semula golongan belia di Malaysia, serta perhubungan di antara peraturan dan dasar kitar semula sisa plastik, infrastruktur dan teknologi kitar semula sisa plastik, pengetahuan tentang kitar semula sisa plastik, dan niat kitar semula sisa plastik. Tinjauan dalam talian telah dijalankan ke atas 300 peserta. Teknik persampelan dalam penyelidikan ini menggunakan gabungan teknik persampelan kluster dan bertujuan. Analisa korelasi Pearson dan regresi berstruktur telah digunakan untuk menganalisis data, merangkumi kebolehpercayaan konstruk, kesahan, dan ujian hipotesis. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa peraturan dan dasar kitar semula sisa plastik, infrastruktur dan teknologi kitar semula sisa plastik, dan pengetahuan tentang kitar semula sisa plastik mempunyai hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan niat kitar semula. Selain itu, kajian ini juga mendapati bahawa pengetahuan tentang kitar semula sisa plastik mempunyai pengaruh yang paling signifikan dengan niat kitar semula. Hasil kajian boleh menjadi panduan untuk kerajaan dalam merangka kempen kitar semula yang berkesan bagi mempromosikan kelestarian negara dan juga membina strategi yang efektif dalam menyokong objektif ekonomi kitaran. Abstract:
The aim of the present paper is to study the effect of multi-recycling on the fracture behavior of high impact polystyrene from disposable cups. After collecting and washing the material, it was subjected to six cycles of recycling. After each cycle, it was subjected to tensile tests to determine the R-curves. The theory of the J-integral contour has been used for the development of a characterization method of the fracture strength appropriate to the case of this non-linear elastoplastic polymer material. To this end, the method of multiple specimens (Single edge notch tension SENT) of thin thickness was used, by introducing cracks of the same lengths to several identical test pieces. The results suggested a slight decrease in crack resistance of recycled high impact polystyrene, especially during the first cycle, demonstrated by a comparison of JIC values related to initiation of crack propagation. The fracture energy absorbed as a function of the cycles suggested a weakening within the material. ABSTRAK: Tujuan kajian ini adalah bagi mengkaji kesan tindak balas pada pelbagai peringkat-kitar semula ke atas kerapuhan polisterin berimpak tinggi pada cawan pakai buang. Selepas mengumpul dan membasuh cawan ini, terdapat enam peringkat kitar semula. Pada setiap peringkat, ianya akan melalui ujian tegangan bagi mendapatkan lengkung-R. Teori kamiran-J kontur telah digunakan bagi mencipta kaedah khas bagi mengkaji kekuatan retakan bersesuaian bagi kes bahan polimer elastoplastik yang tidak-linear. Sehingga kini, kaedah Regangan Tepi Takuk Tunggal (SENT) telah digunakan pada spesimen berketebalan rendah, dengan menghasilkan keretakan sama panjang di permulaan kajian di buat pada pelbagai bahan uji yang serupa. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan rintangan pada retakan telah berkurang sedikit pada polisterin kitar semula berimpak tinggi, terutama pada kitaran pertama, yang ditunjukkan pada nilai JIC pada permukaan rambatan retakan awal. Tenaga kerapuhan yang meresap pada setiap kitaran menunjukkan bahan telah melemah dari dalam.

Abstract:
Customer loyalty is the loyalty of consumers to a product/service. Several factors that influence customer loyalty are customer satisfaction and customer trust. This study aims to determine the effect of customer satisfaction and customer trust on customer loyalty for drinking water in the KitaRO brand at the Putra Kitaro agent, Manna City, South Bengkulu.           This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population of this study were all customers of KitaRO branded bottled water at the Putra KitaRO agent, Manna City, South Bengkulu. The number of research samples as many as 120 people. Data collection was done by observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis techniques.           The results of data analysis obtained multiple linear regression equations as follows: Y = 2.251 + 0.281 X1 + 0.621 X2. The results of the analysis show that partially customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (tcount = 4.774 and tsig = 0.000) and customer trust has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty (tcount = 6.793 and tsig = 0.000). Simultaneously there is an effect of customer satisfaction and customer trust on customer loyalty (Fcount = 82,464 and Fsig = 0.000).           It is recommended to Putra KitaRO agents to be able to increase customer loyalty by creating customer satisfaction and high customer trust in drinking water products in the KitaRO brand packaging. Keywords: Loyalty, Satisfaction, Trust

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Yokai menurut pandangan orang Jepang dalam Anime Gegege no Kitaro. Anime Gegege no Kitaro merupakan Anime pertama yang menggambarkan ciri fisik Yokai itu. Menurut Kawase Shobo Shinsa dalam bukunya "Zusetsu Yokai-ga No Keifu" (2009) menerangkan bahwa karya yang mengisahkan Yokai Anime pertama oleh Mizuki Shigeru ini melahirkan sebuah genre baru yaitu genre Yokai dalam industri Anime. Gegege no Kitaro dengan pemeran utamanya Yokai itu sendiri, memperkenalkan mengenai asal usul dan petualangan di dunia Yokai disetiap episodenya. Anime Gegege no Kitaro sebagai salah satu cermin untuk mempelajari seperti apa ciri fisik Yokai itu. Mizuki Shigeru dan buku berjilidnya yang kembali memperkenalkan Yokai dari masa lalu ke Jepang modern, dimana Yokai terus menjadi aspek penting dari budaya populer Jepang. Pengaruh Yokai dapat dirasakan, dinikmati maupun dipelajari melalui buku, film, animasi, desain produk, video game Jepang dan lainnya. Pada zaman modern ini, budaya Jepang yang populer secara mendunia membawa Yokai semakin dikenal di seluruh dunia sebagai salah satu budaya populer Jepang.

Abstract:
Recently, four quantitative trait loci linked to flesh mealiness in apples were identified, with one associated with the MdPG1 allele. Hence, this study analyzed cell wall changes in two mealy (Orin and Akane) and three non-mealy (Kiou, Kitaro, Fuji) apple cultivars during ripening. The fruits were harvested for each cultivar at optimum maturity and stored at 20°C for 20 days. The flesh firmness of ‘Kitaro’ and ‘Fuji’ fruit did not change strikingly over the 20 days, whereas that of the other three cultivars, especially ‘Akane’ and ‘Orin’, gradually decreased during ripening. Between the two cultivars with a mealy texture, ‘Akane’ fruit produced extremely low levels of ethylene, whereas ‘Orin’ fruit produced high levels. The water-soluble polyuronide (WSP) contents of ‘Kiou’ and ‘Fuji’ fruit did not change clearly. In contrast, the WSP contents of the other three cultivars, especially ‘Akane’ and ‘Orin’, increased during ripening. In ‘Kiou’, ‘Kitaro’, and ‘Fuji’ fruit, the molecular-mass distributions of WSPs did not change during ripening. Conversely, the molecular-mass distribution of WSPs in ‘Akane’ and ‘Orin’ fruit exhibited downshifts during ripening. These results indicate that solubilization and depolymerization of pectic polyuronides occur during ripening in mealy ‘Akane’ and ‘Orin’ fruit, and that ethylene may not be involved in these changes.

Abstract:
There has been considerable debate within the field of Japanese intellectual history with respect to the influence of Nishida Kitarō (1870-1945) on the ideological foundations and philosophical justification of Japanese fascism. One of the most influential Japanese thinkers of the twentieth century and widely considered to be the father of modern Japanese philosophy, his contemporary relevance is considered to be at risk should these accusations be true. As such, contemporary scholars have attempted to show how Nishida’s philosophy was decidedly anti-fascist, and that he was in fact opposed to the actions of the wartime regime. However, as this thesis will argue, by considering Nishida’s philosophy within the larger historical context of global modernity one can see that his contemporary relevance lies in just that which allows one to consider his thought as fascist, his critique of modernity. Nishida was reacting to the transforming social and cultural landscapes that had followed the modernization of Japan initiated by the Meiji Restoration (1868). As a result, he attempted to posit a transhistorical ideal of Japanese culture, embodied concretely in the Emperor that could withstand the social abstractions of modernity. However, it was ultimately his failure to grasp his own conditions of possibility in the very modernity that he was critiquing that pushed his thought increasingly to the right, helping to fuel and legitimize the emerging fascist ideology.

Abstract:
The town of Sakaiminato, on the western coast of Japan, has revitalized its local economy through the transformation of the downtown into a tourist destination for fans of the popular manga creator Shigeru Mizuki. The strategy used by the local community closely replicates the traditional pilgrimage patterns established in Japan; however, the focus has been shifted from a religious to secular world view. While the iconography and meaning has changed, the emotional resonance has remained the same, with fans of the series developing a shared sense of community and a connection to some trans-societal force. This attempt to link older religious practices with modern fan cultures has been further strengthened by directly tying tourism with new releases of Mizuki's work.

The devastation wreaked by earthquakes, floods and other natural catastrophes occurs on a time scale which is inversely proportional to that involved in reconstructing and readapting the places, their values and sense of identity. At the same time, the latter activities bring about a rapid transformation in the movements of people and objects and in ways of thinking. There are three main factors in safeguarding the cultural and identity resources of a place subject to natural disasters: to establish a culture of risk in the population in relation to the historical identity of places; to provide for a conservation plan before a disaster; to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to damage and assessment. Starting from these premises, the case study of post seismic reconstruction of Kitano-cho in Kobe, Japan, affected by an earthquake in 1995, is presented. The neighbourhood of Kitano-Cho is one of the historical centres of Kobe. Foreign businessmen settled here in the late nineteenth century, when the port of Kobe was opened up to international trade. The businessmen’s houses today have become museum houses showcasing the culture of the countries their dwellers came from. The catastrophic earthquake that struck Kobe in 1995 also impacted the Kitano-Cho area. Efforts were mainly devoted to the reconstruction of tourist areas, neglecting the reconstruction of traditional residences and public spaces.

Lateral interactions play a prominent role in the spatial vision of both normal and amblyopic observers. These interactions have generally been reported to be inhibitory in both psychophysical (Cannon and Fullenkamp, 1991; Chubb, Sperling and Solomon, 1989) and physiological ((Kitano et al, 1994; Grinvald et ah, 1994) studies. More recently long range excitatory interactions have been found psychophysically (Polat and Sagi, 1993b, 1994a). The visibility of a small foveally viewed Gabor patch can enhanced by laterally placed Gabor patches of similar orientation. The sign of the effect, enhancement or suppression depends on target and flank separation and on the relative orientation of the target and its flanks. Maximal facilitation of threshold occurs for co-oriented, collinear targets that are separated by several wavelengths of the spatial frequency of the Gabor patches. Interactions occur over distances as large as several degrees.

Abstract:
The paper is devoted to the results of paleozoological analysis of bone remains of wild animals, birds and fish found during a long-term study of the Kytaion necropolis dating back to the Late Antiquity, and to the problem of their interpretation. The share of identified bones of wild animals is large enough – 31.3% in comparison with those of domestic animals (horse, cow, sheep, goat, pig, dog) found in the same mounds ramparts, which include and overlap funeral complexes. At the same time, most of them are bones of birds and fish. The part of wild mammals is just 4.7%. However, while the bones of domestic animals could be both kitchen residues who had accidentally fallen into the mounds together with the moved ground and could be recognized as traces of funeral rituals too (funeral feast with sacrifices), bones of wild animals and birds is most likely to be present due exactly to the latter reason. In this regard, the species repertoire is of particular importance as the basis for interpreting the role of each one in the accomplished rituals. Taking into account possible changes in the ethnic variety of Kytaion residents up to 4th–5th century AD, the authors are not inclined to consider the traditional ancient Greek system of mythology and ritual being in use, and assume that the South-Western part of the Late Antiquie necropolis belonged to the Alans. In the article they present arguments in favor of this version, and conclude that in case it is confirmed, the Indoiranian mytho-ritualistic tradition should be applied to interpret the archaeological complexes discovered there.
