Att ha ett sår är en belastning och påverkar människors vardag, oavsett om såret är akut efter ett olycksfall eller efter en operation, alternativt svårläkande som vid bensår, diabetesfotsår, trycksår eller maligna tumörsår. The impact of an education program on perception, knowledge, and infection rate was evaluated in this study. The educational intervention consisted of a video on infection control and a World Health Organization (WHO) pamphlet for hand hygiene.
