The essay examines changing human-plant geographies in Kodagu, situated in the Western Ghats in southern India. Paying attention to Kodagu helps investigate how plantiness impacts resource politics in indigenous landscapes across pre-colonial, colonial and post-colonial timeframes. This essay will study Sarita Mandanna’s Tiger Hills (2010) and Kavery Nambisan’s The Scent of Pepper (2010) from a bioregional perspective to understand the importance of native plants, forests, vegetal and feral spaces across Kodagu’s shifting societies and timeframes and examine how human-plant encounters redefine

Kodak's 14" optical disk drive uses Run-Length-Limited (RLL) encoding techniques to increase the in-track packing density. In a pulse length encoding scheme using RLL codes, the clock and data are encoded in the mark edges and not in the mark itself. The use of such encoding schemes allows an increase in the in-track density over pulse position encoding techniques. The price of using this technique is that the CNR and linearity of the media must be consistent and of high quality.

Abstract:
PRCI research project, EC-4-6 Improving Corrosion ILI Sizing Models for Long Complex Corrosion Anomalies (Koduru 2018), performed by C-FER Technologies (1999) Inc. ("C-FER"), involved collecting in-ditch high-resolution laser scan records, identifying complex corrosion anomalies, and conducting a burst pressure assessment considering inline inspection (ILI) sizing errors and the effect of interaction rules. A methodology for classifying complex corrosion using high-resolution laser scans was developed in that project. In addition, a secure database was developed to store the anonymized high-re
